Thank you very much for the detailed and honest response! This makes total sense, especially the line about “healthy girls want a playmate, not a therapist” I am, in fact, a therapist so that image totally clicks for me. I do definitely want a playmate but this way of phrasing it is a strong reminder to make sure my behavior comes off that way. Also, since you seem to have a different view than most of the other responders as to whether I personally am an alpha widow, I’d love your thoughts on t…

That just seems to me like a severe misunderstanding of masculinity. A guy operating from a strong and solid frame who knows how to listen is EXTREMELY masculine and a huge turn on to me (a girl who likes extremely masculine guys) while a guy operating from weak frame who knows how to listen is nothing special. I may as well have a female friend. It’s one of the main bones I pick with TRP. They say the same thing about paying for dates. “Beta bucks” I feel like a lot of them really miss the fore…

Hahah no worries girl, this is why this sub is here! Glad it makes more sense to us both now :) I still found your answer helpful because you clearly understood my points.

This makes total sense and I appreciate the well crafted and well thought out response! I have to admit though, I do not always see this play out in real life. I’ve seen as many men reject women as I’ve seen women reject men. So females as the selectors, eh, I’m not so sure. A lot of men have very high standards too.

I would be inclined to agree with you except I feel like “quasi homosexual” is very insulting to a heterosexual male so I don’t think it was seen as a good thing at all in the article.

This is awesome, I’m so happy for you :) I totally get men not wanting to be with a post alpha widowed female but what am I supposed to do? I don’t feel like it’s really controllable. I expected to be with this guy forever so this whole concept of being back on the market feels like a foreign concept and it’s really not going well for me.

Thanks for this! It was helpful in clarifying and the article was a good read. I do feel less like an alpha widow now after reading it. The only thing I don’t like is his comment about “quasi-homosexual beta male with superb listening and sympathizing skills” I can’t stand that RP tendency to see being a good listener and an actual kind person as beta. It’s not. Not when you’re alpha in other ways. When you’re alpha as a whole being a good listener makes you the girl’s rock. Like my ex. When you…

On a bitchy note....I really feel like you need to add 3edgy5you as a tagline on this post. Because that’s how you sound. OMG guys, this girl doesn’t go to church and might want a threesome. Help we got a real badass over here! On a serious note, giving you the benefit of the doubt that you aren’t a troll, you are welcome here. You’re right about the core of RPW and there aren’t really many people here who would prescribe a set way of being. We may attract a lot of people who want to live a cert…

As a woman with some sense in her head, I apologize for the insanity so many of my gender are promoting. I watched the Kavanaugh hearing and it broke my heart. To see a man’s reputation so instantly destroyed just because a woman said some words. No proof. Blatant evidence against her claim. It still doesn’t matter. She said it and that’s enough for this crowd. It’s devastating to me, and as a daughter to an amazing man and sister to two other amazing men I can’t imagine how I would feel if some…

I have a lot of debt, six figures, and I’m not happy about it, but it’s all student debt. I was very BP when I accrued the debt but it already occurred to me that my future husband may not like it. I don’t have any credit card debt. I’m responsible about the debt I do have. I graduated college and got into my desired career immediately. I’ve been extremely successful in my career and have risen the ranks very quickly. I’m easily able to pay my loans every month and I have a decent credit score. …

No. It isn’t true. And it’s one of the things that irritates me the very most about the red pill subs for men. I have no doubt that there are many terrible women out there who use and cheat on men, but there are many women out there who genuinely love their particular man for who he IS.

Thank you! Preach. I was going to comment exactly your first few statements . Without knowing more circumstances there’s really not a whole ton of insight I can offer. Are we talking medical reasons? Education? Moving to another country? Just not wanting to work and having that option because of other financial resources? I’ve got my guesses but without some actual facts it’s nearly impossible to decipher.

I’ll raise a point no one else seems to have raised yet. This should actually make you happy if you look at it right, because it means this well-rounded and fantastic man chose YOU. Your guy obviously has high SMV and other girls would be happy to have him. I can tell this by how you describe the behavior of his female friends at the restaurant. And yet he chose and continues to choose to commit to YOU. That’s pretty awesome :)

Okay, good to know :) I’m far from a feminist but I don’t like seeing people devalue themselves based on their gender either. Thanks for explaining.

My time “even though I’m a woman” whoa whoa whoa back up. The red pill is not about misogyny, whatever others may say. Of course your time as a HUMAN BEING, male or female, is valuable.

What do you mean by love him vs love things about him? It’s the “things about” someone that make me love them so I’m a little confused. Happy to answer the question though, just need a little clarification.

Thank you!! All of this advice is very helpful and you’ve given me some great tips. Going to look into the things you mentioned in your last paragraph! Why does he want full access? Have you done something to make him skeptical? Has he been cheated on in the past? Do you have full access to his technology? Does he think this is normal for relationships? I wouldn’t be so bold as to say “drop his ass” but this is a little bit excessive.

Okay, hard truth time. I had to learn this same lesson. That 189 pounds looks worse on you than you think. I’m 5’6 and a classic hourglass as well, and I got up to 175 at my heaviest and thought “oh it’s not so bad, I’m an hourglass so I carry it well” I didn’t realize just how bad it really was until I was trying on a dress and a snooty sales associate informed me that I needed to go at least three sizes bigger. At 175 I was dangerously close to obesity. At 189 (I pulled a BMI calculator) you a…

I hope moving will be good for me! Definitely appreciate your point about being the person I want to attract. That’s a great reminder. I definitely consider myself an extrovert. I have many friends, and do go to a young adults group at my church. It just seems like all the guys I meet are taken.

Very good point. It doesn’t have a prescribed playbook. I like the meet up idea. I’ll look into that.

That’s helpful to know. Mainly I dislike that it feels like an interview, and that it feels very....forced? I’m not sure the right word to use. There’s no gradual getting to know the person and deciding you have feelings for each other. There’s no mystery and I like a bit of mystery. It’s clear from the beginning what you’re both about. It just feels like a very practical, business transactiony way of going about things and I don’t love that.

You make a good point and I appreciate it! Especially your last sentence about experiencing them all or risk missing the chance to tell all the other stories. I should probably clarify, it isn’t so much not liking the story of how we met, it’s more that I don’t like what feels like an “interview” style approach to dating.

As a recent college grad I totally agree. College is the BEST place to meet guys statistically. But when girls don’t find a husband before they leave, it’s usually not because NONE of the men were good enough. It isn’t that simple. 1.Sometimes the girl never got asked out (I have friends like this) RP makes it sound like guys will ask anyone out and have no standards and girls are the only ones doing the rejection. This is just not true. Some girls are wallflowers or overweight and unattractive.…

Honestly I’ve never understood this “men date and marry down” notion. I’ve seen countless fat, balding men who aren’t wealthy with gorgeous women. And I’ve seen plain looking women with very attractive men. Call me a hopeless romantic but there really is something to be said for personality and individual compatibility. Outsiders will probably always see one half of a couple as having married down but relationships work best if both people involved see themselves as having married up.

I’m one of them, and the answer is both. Because a well written (OPs letter isn’t well written but that’s a separate issue) letter that reminds you of how you fought through the bad times together and grew as a couple to get to more good times would be a very good keepsake.

I disagree about it not being a subject you should write a letter about. It depends on the circumstances. With some guys (like my ex) a letter works way better than in person communication. I’ve written several to him about hard issues and it’s gone over amazingly well because he’s a major introvert so it gives him space and time before responding, which is something he really values. It also prevents us from rabbit trailing the conversation which frequently happens in person, and gives me space…

Hmm. I’d say my biggest issue has always been wanting to fix things. I guess I think like a guy on that lol. Because when someone mentions a problem I tend to leap to solving it. And so realizing that most of the time, men don’t WANT you to solve their problems, was helpful for me. I’ve learned to never say “you should” I try to avoid making suggestions 80 percent of the time because I make them way too often but if I do have a suggestion, I say “have you thought about” because that’s acknowledg…

Depending on the weather, tight spandex shorts or basic black leggings, fitted work out tanks/jackets in girly colors, and my personal favorite secret....pearl (they can be fake) earrings. I LOVE the look of pearls with athleisure. A delicate pair makes you look a little dressy and girly without looking high maintenance or ridiculous on a camping/hiking trip.

Absolutely! Unfortunately my last relationship still ended because my RP behavior was too little too late, but when I did act in a submissive, feminine, and above all, RESPECTFUL way, the difference in response I got was astonishing from when I acted like a nagging shrew who always had to upstage him.

This is a little confusing. Because I don’t think too many girls get with guys they don’t consider hot so I feel like it’s hard (for me at least) to be objective. I feel like all the guys I’ve been with are hot or I wouldn’t have been with them. So even the LEAST hot one is still pretty great. And that’s assuming everyone would even agree on who the least hot one is. But different people have different taste so the guy I personally think is the least hot guy I’ve been with, someone else might th…

Right? I don’t exist either. I swallowed the red pill at the ancient spinster age of......20. My incentives? Well first, there is a definite desire to be happily married and a supportive, loving wife who would be an asset to a high quality man rather than a liability. Second, I actually care about these things for more than just myself. I care about our society and culture and the direction that we are moving. You notice how only girls ever post these sorts of things? I’ve never seen a guy advertise all their negative qualities on a dating profile. Doesn’t affect opinion whatsoever for me. Won’t lower my interest in a guy, won’t increase my interest. One caveat though, there does tend to be a correlation between guys not having social media and me liking them. But this is more about them being sigmas and not caring about that whole circus, guys like that tend to be what I always go for, and less about the actual act of not having social media. Her baggage is that she has this FWB that she left her boyfriend for, and then left the FWB but it’s his fault not hers, and she’s “so alpha widowed she will never recover” but instead of following the enormous amount of advice she’s been given to go into nun mode and work on herself she continues to date new guys she’s not ready for and gripe about their fingers. Hi! I’m glitterchild. I’m 24 and newly back in the dating game after two years of what we call on RedPillWomen nun mode (the first year voluntary, the second year not so much) after a nasty breakup. This is my exact opinion. I feel deceitful saying I’m a virgin because that implies no guys have had sexual intimacy with me and that’s not true. But at the same time PIV (and anal) are major activities in and of themselves that someone will be the first (and ideally only) guy to experience with me. So I don’t want that guy to not realize that he’s the first. Thanks for your point about context. I definitely don’t give it up quick so thankfully that’s not something I need to worry about. Step 1: block him. Phone number, all social media etc. Step 2: STOP POSTING ABOUT HIM HERE. You post practically every day about this guy, all that’s doing is keeping him front and center in your brain. Knock it off. Step 3: self improvement. Set practical goals. Work every day to meet them. Step 4: socialize. I wouldn’t focus on meeting men, you’re in no place for that right now, but meet women, make friends, enjoy your new city. Eventually you will heal. For sure! Well I can tell you what my reasons AREN’T. The ridiculous assumptions made by u/grandmasbroach that it’s because I’m looking for my beta bucks after having hopped off the CC. Which btw, simply bothering to read my actual comment, let alone any of my posting and commenting history in this sub would reveal is not the case. Anyway, snarkiness aside, to answer your question, it’s more of a negative association that goes along with high N count men. The way I see it is, if a man has a high…
/r/RedPillWomen11/06/18 11:12 PM
6

To me they are. I’m in no way recommending women stack up a high N count and think it’s a good idea. You’re talking to a virgin in her early twenties. I’m simply saying high N counts in men are ALSO unattractive to a great many women, myself included. And that such men don’t deserve to be insistent on a virgin. But to other women it’s not an issue. And to some men, high N count in women is not an issue. Which is why my whole point is that it’s highly subjective.
/r/RedPillWomen11/06/18 08:47 PM
2

You’re absolutely right. I’m not trying to give any advice (and personally would feel very poorly qualified to give it on this subject) thank you for helping me clarify. :) and FWIW, I’m one of those women that prefers a lower N count guy so that definitely affects my view. The responses to this comment I think go a long way to demonstrate my primary point, which is that it’s very personal to the couple.
/r/RedPillWomen11/06/18 08:43 PM
8

I’m curious what other people think too! I think it’s very relative to the couple tbh. Religions, ages, cultural backgrounds, etc. will all come into play. I also think HIS n count is a factor. A guy with a high n count demanding a virgin for marriage is no different than a girl with a high n count who “is tired of the players and wants a guy that’s willing to wait” both have been there, done that, don’t like it, and want to have their cake and eat it too. It doesn’t work that way.

I stopped reading at “he liked another female’s photo on instagram” Good lord, from the types of posts we keep getting these past few weeks I honestly feel like we need a “RPW 101” post of some kind, for just the very basics of what not to do. Oh my word. Okay, first of all, you can not increase your smv drastically enough in two weeks to make any sort of difference. Second, alpha dude left you what, less than a month ago? First of all, get off Reddit!! This sub is great for harsh truths but tbh sometimes (by putting the idea of “alpha” guys and hypergamy in your head) , it’s easy to get that on the brain to the point where you see behavior in men that is actually a GOOD trait, like generosity, as “weakness” That’s a lie spread by bitter men on TRP who don’t know the idea of balance. I’m sorry that that happened. I don’t agree with a lot of things the mods do honestly, particularly the way they treat guys. They get angry when a guy says “man here” because “your gender makes no difference” and to me it absolutely does make a difference because if I’m trying to get a high quality MAN I want to know what MEN think. I’m guessing that they are hostile because we’ve had a LOT of rude and angry guys come on the sub just to yell at us. But I still don’t think that excuses the way th…

I apologize if this is seen as argumentative. I don’t mean for it to be but if it is the mods can let me know and take it down. I just want to clarify because I know our lingo sounds extremely strange to anyone who doesn’t frequent the sub. Yes, that’s exactly what a red pill woman is doing. She’s waking up to her own nature. Many women can and do realize not only our own inherent flaws but also how far society tips the scales unfairly in our favor, and we don’t like it. RPW is our attempt to “w…

This is the creepiest thing I’ve ever read. No man in his sane mind tries to impregnate a girl he met a month and a half ago. No high value female puts up with that sort of guy for a second. Block him, drop him, raise your standards drastically. Sorry if that sounds harsh but I seriously shuddered just reading this.

So how do you recommend handling guys who DON’T want to maintain that boundary? This is the problem I have. I try to maintain the level of friendship you describe with guys I’m not interested in romantically, particularly when I’m in a relationship. But they tend to try to force the issue.
/r/RedPillWomen18/05/18 05:39 PM

Gotcha. I’ve recently discovered that all my guy friends would sleep with me. This is something I was previously very unaware of and is what prompted me to ask the question. It’s a tough spot to be in, because many of the guys I’m referencing, I genuinely enjoy their company the same way I would enjoy that of my female friends, but I don’t want to sleep with them, and that seems to be a problem for a lot of people.

Can confirm. Work for federal social program. Selective service registration is mandatory for men hoping to get benefits through the program.

Hello, just a heads up, I almost guarantee the mods are gonna take this down and tell you to post it on a sub called r/asktrp. Ifyou aren’t familiar with that sub, it’s a Q&A sub for guys from a red pill perspective. But right now your post is still here so I’ll answer as best I can. :) I have some good news for you! The answer is NO, these girls are very likely NOT your league (disclaimer, that’s based on just the info provided) because girls date, marry, and have sex up. One of the widely ackn…

So cool :) I love happy field reports like this one! I’ve struggled to get really into Laura Doyle personally, but this is making me want to reread her. I’ve definitely had similar results with Fascinating Womanhood! Kudos to you for making positive changes and congrats on enjoying the results.

This is a good reminder! Even a good look at TRP confirms that. Thank you :)

You’re absolutely right. I’m not doing too badly for myself and could honestly handle myself without him if I had to, but I would never want to. Life would feel so much more hollow. It’s nice to be reminded that men feel the same.
/r/RedPillWomen14/05/18 02:02 PM
1

You are definitely right, thanks for bringing me back down to earth with that reminder. The TRP voices scream loud sometimes (and I’m not trying to disparage them because I think they make a lot of positive difference in the lives of men who are miserable) but they don’t have it right on everything, theoretically I know that, but it’s easy to get anxious anyway.

Thank you. :) this was super encouraging to hear. I agree, nobody can replace a GOOD wife, it seems like so much of our society is trying so so hard to do that and it sends me into a little bit of a panic. But truly, considering the happiest men are those in HAPPY marriages, those efforts are obviously not succeeding.

Thank you! You’re so right, I don’t think the importance of gratitude can honestly be stated enough. You are right too about not assuming the worst, that’s been an Achilles heel of mine in relationships in the past.

This is true. :) He chose you for a reason right? I’ve always put more stock in the intangibles generally but sometimes those “on paper value discrepancies” really trip me up. Thank you for this insight!

Keep your head up. :) I truly don’t think it was your fault. At all. A 23 year old virgin is a very high value woman in our society. Some guys are just looking for casual sex and you can be the best woman in the world and you won’t be able to change that, particularly without having ever met the guy face to face. This is a HUGE factor. Think about it. I’m sure he has women where he’s at, he can have sex with them, he can date them, he can commit to them, so why would a guy with a casual sex mind…

Honestly, you’re being too hard on yourself. A navel piercing, living in Africa for a year to do humanitarian work, and having a liberal arts degree are not red flags. If they are I’m as screwed as you. And six appears to be a low partner count compared to most of the girls on here surprisingly. Honestly, you’re aware of the problem and you’re doing what you can to manage it. That’s about all you can do.
/r/RedPillWomen06/05/18 01:04 AM

This may be the first thing you’ve said on this post that I agree with. It’s honestly not THAT hard for even average looking guys to get a girlfriend (unless I’m just surrounded by all alphas without realizing, which I doubt very much) the only incels I know are either genuinely ugly or have such poor social skills that women are scared of ending up in their freezer.
/r/RedPillWomen05/05/18 07:28 PM

I don’t like a high N count. It’s a turn off for me. Not a dealbreaker, because there’s definitely something to be said for being the one he commits to. But all other things being equal I’d take a lower N count.

I’m inclined to agree with you about just not bringing it up. I don’t feel comfortable with the idea of lying personally. But agree a hundred percent you shouldn’t publicize it. This comment is awesome and should be voted higher. Best comment in this thread :). I have a question for you because of something you brought up. The idea that this sub tells women to cover up their slutty past and act like angels. My question for you is what should they do instead? If a girl with a slutty past finds the red pill, sees her errors, and wants to change, how should she handle it in the future?

Thank you for the tip. :) I appreciate it and that is definitely the plan. I think you’re still missing my point a bit though, because I’m not asking for someone who thinks it CAN’T happen to him. I’m asking for someone who trusts me enough (after careful vetting) to think it WON’T happen to him, or at the very least that the rewards outweigh the risks. But we can agree to disagree on this, I do very much appreciate the advice.

Yeah, I am in the states (the hyper liberal West Coast no less) so sadly this is very true, and so I don’t deny it’s still very risky for a man. But I think a little less so, because divorce is only acceptable in extreme circumstances. So vetting properly for a woman who is committed to the religion would, I think, (and for my sake I hope) make him feel a bit safer.
/r/RedPillWomen03/05/18 04:54 AM
2

Well the only reason I used examples from the previous generation is because the people in my generation haven’t been married long enough yet for me to safely say that they probably won’t divorce, but I know plenty of people in their 20s and 30s who have marriages that are great so far. Maybe my experience varies a bit because of my religion and the fact that most people I know are the same religion, and marriage is taken very seriously. Edit: typo

Agreed. And if I agreed that marriage was the incorrect choice I would agree with you. But since I don’t, it isn’t a problem for me. I genuinely don’t believe marriage is a bad choice for man. Risky? Absolutely. Bad? Not necessarily. Like all of us I’ve seen marriages gone wrong ruin men’s lives, but I’ve also seen marriage done right be the best thing that ever happened to both men and women. My own parents are an example. 25 years and counting. My grandparents are at almost 70 years. My aunt a…

You are very right. On all counts. But more and more men are waking up, and I don’t blame them although that hurts me by extension. But I don’t think I could respect a blue pilled guy. Perhaps I’ll have to find a purple pilled one although that’s probably even harder.

This is a great comment. I agree sadly with all of these factors playing in. But that makes me sad. Sad for all the guys who have been screwed over primarily, the main factor that drove me to actively identify as anti feminism was hearing about all the men who kill themselves, primarily because of being so screwed over. I hate it. I’d outlaw no fault divorce and severely restrict alimony in a heartbeat. But it also makes me selfishly sad for myself and OP and women like us. Because women in gene…

I know what branch swinging is, I’m not advocating that. I’m talking about choosing the man you are willing to commit to in the first place, not swinging away after you’ve found one.
/r/RedPillWomen01/05/18 08:18 PM

I can definitely answer number 2. Yes absolutely. It definitely depends on who you are but for many women (myself included) we value the man making the first move enough that even if he’s on our mind all day long we won’t initiate a conversation because we want him to do the pursuing.
/r/RedPillWomen01/05/18 08:11 PM

Burning question that I’ve been reflecting on lately. I’ve asked it before sort of but am still unclear. Why do I so often see this sub promote the idea of settling for “Mr good enough”? We talk a lot here about unrealistic expectations and I support that concept wholeheartedly. If you’re an obese 40 year old shrew with purple hair and an n count of 50 who is ethically opposed to cooking for your man because “the patriarchy” than obviously you don’t deserve a top tier guy. But shouldn’t the answ…

I wish I knew what to tell you. I honestly do. I can’t imagine how much that hurts. I suppose the only thing I can really say is that it’s perfectly understandable in your case to not be willing to go down that road again, nobody could fault you for it.

Good lord do people really believe this? I have no idea how many times I have to point this out on this sub but as I’ve said before my mom found a husband at 33 and had perfectly healthy kids at 34, 37, and 39. Not at all!! I really hope I didn’t imply they were! In case I did, I want to mention again that I can absolutely understand a man wanting one, and I can respect it. Especially one who has been burned before, or even just one who has seen others burned. I’ve seen it myself and the lasting damage it causes. It’s heartbreaking and any rational man needs to take it seriously. As long as both parties are okay with it more power to them. I’m only saying that they aren’t compatible partners for me bec…

He absolutely is. You’re 100 percent right. But that’s exactly the point. In good faith. That’s that trust factor. If he doesn’t trust me not to leave he can do us both a favor and not propose. If I don’t trust myself not to leave, I can do us both a favor and not accept. Once you say I do it’s final (barring the circumstances I mentioned in my last comment) You can’t expect to have a successful marriage if you go in preparing for failure. In most circumstances it’s a wise idea, but a marriage i…

Yes. Commitment has to entail marriage for me. Because commitment is about trust. It’s about trusting the other person NOT to leave you and screw you over. If you can’t trust them you have no business being with them. That’s where vetting comes in.

I think objectively that nobody SHOULD be lucky to have their SO. They should be within the same league and equally matched, but for an amazing and healthy relationship I think it’s great if they both FEEL lucky to have their SO, and see them as far out of their league (even though objective bystanders wouldn’t) because that creates a “biggest fan” element that I think is a huge part of a successful relationship. Nobody wants to feel settled for. Men don’t. Women don’t. Nobody does. Everyone wan…

I don’t think I’m explaining myself well, I agree totally about not taking a new relationship too seriously, but I see this as an example of not taking it seriously enough. One of the most common ways of describing a relationship is “more than friends” yeah? I would go. She’s his mom for better or worse. She’s going to be in your life for a very long time if you end up together, and wouldn’t you prefer that be as enjoyable as possible? This could actually be a great opportunity if you look at it in a positive light. She can get to know you better, one on one, and you may be able to sway her opinion. That’s the vibe I got as well. And by that definition I agree with him. Whining and complaining isn’t masculine or attractive. But I don’t consider that vulnerability. And I don’t think vulnerability is a gendered thing or that it’s in any way preventable, unless you harden yourself completely and don’t allow yourself to care for anyone or anything. Hmm, at first glance it sounds to me like he’s struggling with some depression or insecurity. I’d be curious to dive a little deeper. What is his emotional state like most of the time? When did these things first start? You mentioned you have a 7 month old. Would you say that since your baby was born these issues have improved, stayed the same, or worsened? Is he going through anything especially stressful at work?

That is super thoughtful and generous of you to plan such a fun birthday for him! But I’m with everyone else on this one. You’ve been together for a month, you definitely don’t need to be spending that much. My brother and his GF are both hopeless romantics who love going all out for birthdays, they’ve also been together for almost 4 years and they STILL don’t spend that much. For his birthday maybe try making his favorite dinner and cake, plan a surprise for him, take him to a non insanely expe…

You are so right! I didn’t mean it if I came across like I thought all men were smarter than me, I mainly meant that I don’t mind if men in general are smarter than women in general because that gives me a bigger dating pool. That’s a win to me :) Individual IQ is definitely not guaranteed by gender. I agree, the rudeness is a shame because it obscured his points and I do think it’s a fun topic to discuss. Alright, I’ll bite. I actually find this topic extremely interesting and agree with you about the strength and intelligence as a general rule. Personally, I love the idea that men are stronger and smarter than me. I could never be attracted to a man who wasn’t stronger and smarter than me. I’m not sure why women are insulted by being told that. It doesn’t mean women are stupid. I know I’m not stupid as I also have an IQ of 133, so learning that someone else is smarter doesn’t really bother me. I…

Hi there! Yes, ROK is one of my favorite websites. I much prefer it over the TRP sub when I want a male perspective :). It definitely struck quite a few chords with me. Things I’d already believed about female nature and male/female interactions but had never been able to put into words. Hypergamy for example, I had always just called it having high standards so them having a concrete word for it was a real light bulb moment. As far as what they say about women and female nature, I think a fair …

I appreciate hearing a male perspective so I have no issue with what you’re saying but I’m confused on how navel rings are attention seeking. To me it seems like they are much less so than just about any other piercing because they are so hidden. Most people don’t even know I have one because I’m not much of a crop top girl. Same with short term thinking, I would argue a navel piercing (or really any piercing) is not nearly as much “short term focused” than a tattoo for example, mainly because i…

Oh absolutely, that’s 100% true but in order to keep him in love you need to develop your personality. And so I can see how what you’re saying about 45 year olds competing with 25 year olds is a valid point but they don’t need to compete for the same guys. A fit 45 year old with great skin and a sweet personality to match is a steal to your average 55 year old. Your average non sugar baby 25 year old isn’t going to even glance at that same man.

I’m a little confused on what seems to be your equivalency between fat women and older women. Maybe I’m not reading your comments properly. I think there’s a big difference between fat (which is largely controllable in 97 percent of cases) and age which can’t be controlled. For an overweight woman, a thread like “don’t be fat” could be just the push they need to lose weight, so it’s no surprise at all to me that they would want to be here. It is a little bit insecure, I'd be the first to admit that. I want a guy who has high enough SMV to have the opportunity to sleep with tons of women, but I don't want him to actually do so because it shows low standards and I don't feel special, I feel like just another notch to be compared to all his other notches....that isn't romantic or sexy.

Honestly I can see both sides on this one. I agree very much with the "why buy the cow"statement but on the other hand, marriage is a HUGE commitment and in my book it's for life. Divorce is not okay unless there's cheating so I absolutely want to be positive that I'm willing to spend the rest of my life with this guy and I think living together gives you much better knowledge of what he's really like.

It isn't an exclusive club that you get kicked out of (hey I wish we were that cool) you can subscribe to certain aspects of it but not others and you're still totally welcome here …

Ding ding we have a winner. Came on here to say exactly this. I think OP has been reading a little too much of the male TRP side, OP I don't think it's that he isn't sexually attracted enough. 8 times in 3 days says otherwise. I suspect he doesn't think YOU would be into that. So many guys are conditioned to be ashamed of their more primal side, you may just need to subtly give him the green light that it's okay. I've had to do that before and it made a world of difference. I really don't think …

For me this would be a definite deal breaker. I absolutely do not think your feelings are invalid nor do I think it was wrong of you to give him chances anyway because after all you care about the guy and things are rarely that simple. On the other hand it's easy for me to say it's a deal breaker, I don't know you and I don't know him. You know him well and you care about him. You ultimately need to decide if everything else about him is worth this. One thing I've always heard said that I think …

Hey girl, welcome to RPW! I think you'd be surprised how many women here come from left wing backgrounds, you are not a bit out of place :) I encourage you to read the sidebar and find out what we're all about, I'd say the biggest benefit is that it feels so natural (even though at first when you're not used to it it can feel very awkward) and freeing, because this is how it's really meant to work imo. Also seeing how happy it will make your boyfriend is a huge bonus as well, and it will most li…

Sorry hun but this is false. I lived in LA until very recently and got commitment from two guys while I was there, one wanted to marry me but I was young and pre RP and panicked and broke up with him. The more recent one was a hyper commitment phobic alpha type but I got him to cave. Also out of all my married friends (I've lived all over the west coast) a good 75% met their husbands in LA. If your therapist really told you guys in LA don't commit they should be fired. Also I think other posters…

I second the whole too many variables bit. It's not at all odd at 18 to have never been in a relationship, it is a bit odd at 35. Then you have to look at culture, SMV, location, and so many other things.

Two things, number one I am totally okay with being alone because I would much rather be alone than with a guy I don't want to be with, but I definitely see your point for girls who aren't okay with being alone, but number two, where do y'all live where only fifteen percent of guys are over six feet? On the west coast it feels like 75 % at least.
/r/RedPillWomen16/03/17 04:29 AM

Why is that a problem though? If you want just ONE guy it doesn't matter what percent of them are over six feet. Fifteen percent is a large percent when all you need is one.

I would agree about just being interesting, I would also argue that they think extroversion ties in with confidence which, take it from an extrovert, it does not. Mmm I wouldn't so much say I would compromise on the big five, more that it is a part of my big five, swapped out for extroversion. I'm just not into extroverts. IM the bubbly and outgoing one, I want someone to balance me out.

If all you're exposed to is the men's side I totally get where you're coming from. I started on the men's side myself and I think some exposure to it is good so that you get male perspectives but to understand how we as women should relate to that and behave, this sub is a much better bet. Exactly. Feminism forces them to ignore their biological instincts but ultimately people can't ignore their biological instincts. They'll either express them in a healthy way or an unhealthy way.

Ooh I love theorizing about this subject. It's absolutely biological I suspect, and it's made even stronger by so many women fighting against their biological instincts. Society says women should be stronger, smarter, better leaders etc. than the men around them and so many believe it, but deep down they know they still want alpha males and that comes out in some strange outlets sometimes. For myself I've never read 50 Shades, but I do love alpha male romances in general. But then again I love a…

I totally understand the pain. Totally. But the answer is not having a high n count yourself, that's a bad bad idea because it cheapens something that isn't supposed to be cheapened. Others have said it well. Sex is an intimate thing whether people admit it or not and it's much much better when it's with someone you care about. My theory is that CC riding damages the ability to pair bond because in order for a girl not to get hurt by it, she has to shut off her natural emotional instinct to get attached, thus when a man she actually cares about comes along it's very hard to switch that back on. Having a high sex drive is an awesome thing to bring to a relationship though, an…

You didn't describe your fashion or hygiene habits but I suspect that has a lot to do with it. Do you dress feminine? Tasteful makeup? Flattering hairstyle? If not start right there, and watch your SMV raise a full point AT MINIMUM. Now if you've already taken care of those things the next step is to start being more social. It doesn't mean you have to become a loud party animal. My best friend is very very reserved and quiet and she has no problem attracting guys. Remember that femininity still…

My ex was an INTJ and I (if you're familiar with the other personalities) am an ENFP. So I'm very very emotionally expressive and he is not. At first it seriously bothered me but the more I came to understand him the more I began to learn how to see where he expressed his emotions, it was usually subtle little things but they would just melt me to the core because I knew how much he was really saying in those small little actions. I would really argue that that isn't true. My mom definitely had not hit any walls at 35. She also didn't have a wrinkle on her til about 55 and now at 57 is only beginning to have gray streaks. Now obviously at 50 people never mistook her for a 20 something but even up to 40 people …

This is a very good post. I enjoyed it, but just one thing is irritating me and maybe I'm just misreading what you wrote.
