In real life, this can make a difference if I already know the men and like his personality, humour and intelligence can definitely eroticise the body of an average-looking guy. On Tinder, as a girl if you just post pictures where you're slightly sexy, you get lots of matches because men are so shallow that it's enough to turn them on. And generally, you find a guy that has both nice pics and a great funny profile. Guys who aren't very attractive but have a great personality just shouldn't use T…

Yeah I agree it is not fair to ask men but not women to pay. As a socialist / social democrat, I think that the european countries that worry about the very low birth rates should create ENTIRELY FREE state-owned dating apps and websites that are strongly feminist and protect women from assaults and harassment. They should also encourage the participants to not only post pictures but to also reveal their personalities.

As an almost 29-years-old woman hoping to find something serious that could potentially lead to a loving family, I tend to avoid Tinder as the likelihood of just finding a guy who wants a hook-up or a potential agressor is way too big. Yeah, Tinder is almost entirely based on looks and that disadvantages average men because in order to be turned on, the average woman must also like the personality of the guy, hot pictures ALONE just look cheap to most women. Both men and women are visual and loo…

MOST OF THE TIME, I just don't do it for male attention. If it's hot outdoors, I'm naturally gonna wear an outfit that shows skin, even if there are mostly women at the gym and all men are old and unattractive. So if you see a woman who wears revealing clothes, you've no way to know whether she does it to please potential partners, maybe yes , maybe no.

No, this happened some time ago and the man wasn't attractive to me and your attempt to hurt me by being gross spectacularly failed ;-)

"I've told my friends about men wearing "slutty shorts" at the gym. but i genuinely never thought people in the gym dress for others. i thought it was to admire your own body, the results of your hard work." Most of the time yes, but to be realist, it also happens from time to time that a woman or a man that is looking for a partner might try to look sexy, as in the case of the man I mentioned in the OP. Sometimes, I do it as well but only if it is a fitness studio where we also socialise and ge…

That's an utterly non-sensical statement given everything I've written. When I am sexily dressed for any reason and I get compliments from guys I don't feel drawn to but who RESPECT me as a person and take a "no" for a "no", I like it as it is flattering and ego-boosting to feel desired. (And many of my MALE aquaintances too like to have their ego boosted in this way) It isn't women but you who are the moral hypocrite here.

Once again, RESPECTFUL looks or compliments aren't the problem...

SOME women certainly do. But at least where I live, they're far from being the majority. And often times, these women have gone through the ordeal of being truly sexually harassed or even assaulted. As a defence mechanism, they're now warry of any male stranger who seems to be sexually interested in them. It's an overreaction but an understable one. If we lived in a world where sexual assaults and harassment are extremely rare, most straight women might definitely appreciate the feeling of being…

I see these sexy gym clothes in the same way as I see thong-bikinis: right at the beginning, it had definitely some sexual connotation but nowadays, it has just become fashionable and many women would wear a thong-bikini because it looks fashionable and not because they wanna be hit on by men. Of course, it may also happen that the girl decides to wear one because she finds several male acquaintances or friends potentially interesting but without knowing her, you've no way to know. (And my male …

MOST OF THE TIME, I don't choose to wear the clothes I wear at a fitness studio to impress guys. It's only in very specific circumstances (I'm single and there are interesting guys) that I may choose to wear something more "sexy", for the same reasons that the man I mentioned dressed in a more sexy way after having broken up with his girlfriend. So, most of the time people (men and women) do not dress to impress the gender they're attracted to, it only happens from time to time. If you just see …

And I'm not against that at all. My only points is that if a woman goes to a mixed-gender fitness studio, she ought to be respected by men regardless of how she's dressed and why.

No, I (and all my female friends) would never insult a respectful man we don't fancy who makes us compliments, but in general in most European countries it's not appropriate to do that if the woman is a total stranger to you (this may be okay in other parts of the world). I think that staring at someone is a lack of respect but I don't want the state to criminalise this, as we'd need to build a hundred times more prisons at least, lol ;-) No, what I'd like is for men to become respectful of wome…

No, staring is never a sign that you respect him or her as a person. If I find a guy whose personality I like hot, I may gaze at him but not stare at him, that's unhealthy and disrespectful. If a male stranger "approaches" me and tells me: "Hey, you look hot, would you like to drink something with me?", I wouldn't first see that as sexual harassment but I'd tell him he's extremely unsophisticated and ridiculous and that he isn't gonna impress any woman. If he insists after that, he's definitely …

He only left AFTER I screamed because other folks were alerted to the situation. Apparently, your male priveleges hinder you from realising that almost every woman in such a situation would see his behaviour as a big threat for her safety, especially if she'd been alone with him in some corner of the building, which luckily wasn't my case.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/26 11:20 AM

Yeah and that was the whole point of my post, neither men nor women should be shamed for how they dress, even when they do it with the intention of flirting.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/26 11:13 AM
-3

"everything for what women are being called out" by misogonistic jerks who use double standards and will slut-shame women for behaviours many men have in fitness studios. Dressing sexily in order to increase one's chances of finding a good partner is something done by BOTH men and women and it isn't something anyone should feel ashamed of. However, most of the time, men and women in a fitness studio don't dress to find a mate and to be sexually attractive. Is that truly so hard to grasp for you?

It didn't happen at the gym but at a party, I was just using this as an example to argue that you're terribly wrong when you say that only physical sexual harassment is bad.

And that's a ridiculous strawman. I find it pleasant to get compliments from respectful guys I don't find attactive if I know that they take a "no" for a "no". Most women do. Egalitarian average-looking men who see women as their equal may feel a strong desire while seeing a scantily clad woman but they totally accept and understand she's more likely to be interested in other more attractive men. I've been overweight since the end of Covid and I understand that most guys who look sexy will prefe…

"As long as you aren't physically harassed what's the issue" Psychological sexual harassment is horrible too, I once had a guy who told me that if I choose to dress sexily, it's unfair for me to turn him down so quickly and that I ought to give him a chance because he can't help but desire me. I had to scream in order to make him go away, and I could no longer stay at the party after that. In the next days and even weeks, I felt TRAUMATISED.

Yeah but I hope everyone realises that my post was second degree ;-) Of course, I don't wanna shame men that look sexy, even when they do it on purpose to be more attractive to potential partners. "Even MEN with means are going to prefer partners who make HIS hypothetical offpsring's life potentially better, I think. It is why MEN tend to prefer WOMEN who have ambition rather than some GIRL who is just a nice slacker." I believe this works as well if I consider my wishes and that of my girl friends.

No, "gender-based violence" is violence where one's gender plays a big role in being victimised.

Well that's a perfect example of how the toxic anti-wokeness of the far-right can backfire against men! I agree to keep it gender-neutral, however we must keep in mind that almost all victims of GENDER-BASED violence are women, a small proportion of men are victims of DOMESTIC violence, but we have no grounds for thinking that their female partners were violent because they despised men. So it'd be better to rename it into a "domestic violence" bill. (I'm likely gonna be hated because of this co…

How do you define "masculine"? All things being equal, I prefer taller and more muscular men and this may be related to evolution, although there are also quite a few women for whom this isn't important and men who have fantasies involving physically stronger women. What I doubt is that evolution hardwired the average woman to UNCONSCIOUSLY prefer to date a man with more money, it was rather a conscious decision made under circumstances where women were so oppressed that they couldn't hope to ge…

A very dumb guy who's deluded enough to think that if he has a girlfriend, she'll think he's the only man ON PLANET EARTH who could bring her joice, lol. The alternative (the girlfriend / wife enjoys the relationship but knows she'd have other options if this doesn't work out) is scary for many men.

The mere fact that females in other primate species are hypergamous whereas men aren't does not NECESSARILY mean that holds in the human species. If you define hypergamy as "often wanting to be with a partner more attractive to you", then I believe that MEN AND WOMEN ALIKE are hypergamous but that men have much less opportunities than women.

Do these evolutionary trends unconsiously influence the behaviour of modern women like myself who have a well-paid and highly regarded job? I just don't see the point of being with a guy who earn more money than I, I'm not money-hungry.

Yes, I have no doubt we can very well account for the fact that most women are drawn to men through the theory of evolution. However, we don't have good grounds for thinking that women are BIOLOGICALLY hypergamous whereas men are not in the human species, this is a much more tenuous conclusion. I'd argue that the only evolved psychological difference between the average man and the average woman is that the average woman is unlikely to sexually desire an average man based on his naked body witho…

Okay but does that mean that you never "interact" with men professionally and that you purposefully avoid developping a friendship with another guy?

Well I'm not married and I currently don't have a boyfriend. I agree that right at the beginning, I'll forget the existence of other guys, but I consider it unlikely this feeling will stay forever in a marriage. I also think it's rationally wrong to think that your current boyfriend/husband is the only man who could make you happy. Of, course it'd often be senseless to tell him that, but I think we're deluding ourselves if we think otherwise. Keeping that in mind makes me less likely to stay in …

And I totally respect the fact this is the way you're personally wired. However, I think that you'll likely sooner or later also feel sexually drawn to another guy. In that case, would you consider this means you can no longer stay with your current man? I'm not judging you, if that's the way you're wired, that's fine for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/26 07:08 PM

This doesn't make sense to you because you likely were never maltreated by a malignant narcisstic person (man or woman). If you had been, you'd know that they absolutely know how to make someone fall in love with them and throw away the rational part of their brain. AT THE BEGINNING, they never treat you like shit, they make you think you're special, that you're not like the others.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/26 07:02 PM
1

Maybe for you. In my case, since I don't like polyamory for myself and my partner, I may very well stay with a man even if I know I might also have been as happy with some other guy with the right qualities. And he may often feel the same way about me. What matters to me is that we are mutually fulfilled by our relationship. If you get married with your current boyfriend, and if several years later you begin to realise that other guys are sexually attractive to you, what would you do?

The conclusions drawn by evolutionary psychologists remain pretty speculative as our knowledge of the mating psychology of our ancestor remain pretty limited. It's problematic to say that our psychology must be very close to chimps given that unlike chimps, we know that human fathers can take care of babies as well as human mothers. I'm not denying there might be biologically conditionned psychological differences between the genders but we don't have good grounds for thinking they significantly…

If there are clear signs that a man has a predatory behaviour, I agree this was a bad choice. At the same time, predators are also very good at manipulating their victims and we must beware of victim blaming. What I'd tell her is that in the future, she ought to be much more distrustful of men unless they have clearly shown themselves to be trustworthy.

If you talk about men seeking One-Night-Stands, you're right that it is physical attraction that totally prevails, however the gaps with women seeking an ONS isn't that big. When it comes to relationships, I know lots of male friends for whom the confidence but also CAREER of the woman play a huge role.

Is there truly a gender imbalance, though? There are also lots of GUYS I know who like WOMEN who are "good looking, confident, and take initiative". I've been rather fat since the end of Covid, I'm not ugly but not very good-looking either, I suffer from anxiety disorders so I'm not confident and I am often undecided as a result of my ADHD symptoms. In my country, France we don't see such a strong divide between men and women when it comes to politics and ideology. In my opinion, the main reason is that the far-right spreads hatred against Blacks, Arabs and Muslims but not against white cis-women like myself. They don't intend to repel abortion or voting rights. Otherwise, if I lived in America it's pretty clear I wouldn't want to date a Conservative man who wants me to be his handmaid.

As a girl, you quickly learn to recognise when a man doesn't care about your personality, ideas and wishes and only sees you as a body.

If this female non-relative of theirs gets a bit fat, many of them quickly learn to see her in a non-sexual way, lol.

No, that's totally wrong. I've been fat since the end of Covid, and while there are still guys interested in me, there are many I find interesting who quickly friendzone me and see me as an interesting conversation partner but not as any kind of girlfriend material" or ONS. Maybe, in your part of the world men aren't entitled enough to loudly speak about women in a demeaning and sexual way and have to be more discrete. But you strongly lack imaginative skills if you think this is impossible, especially when they're drunk. As I was a PhD student, I even heard male students having this kind of dicussion in front of the coffee machine, they were negatively talking about the body and revealing clothes of one of their female colleagues who left a party with a guy she ju…

That's a good question. I personally think that porn is disempowering when it REDUCES women to their bodies and erases their personality. However, if you're a female influencer in a male-dominated field, it can be quite empowering to dress sexily so as to get lots of male followers, if they aren't sexually frustrated incel, they'll enjoy watching a hot girl talking about a topic that interests them.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 05:10 PM

Yeah my brother once told me: "I really think that if I were a girl, I'd dress even more sexily than you do and be more flirty", his autistic awkwardness makes him hard for him to find a girl who'd want to sleep with him, it's very frustrating for him but he doesn't resent the women who reject him.

Of course, I absolutely don't think that men in general are like this, my younger brother who struggles with relationships watches porn but he doesn't slut-shame women who dress sexily. Otherwise, there are some red-pill men who're fundamentalist Christians who condemn porn and try not to watch it and they aren't hypocritical. But a very large number of them online both like porn and slut-shame women. That is what my OP is all about, as for your not caring about these men being moral hypocrites,…

"Some days later" is a figure of speech meant to emphasise the fact that the very same men who are vocal about their porn use are also extremely critical of women who freely live out their sexuality and use their sex appeal. English isn't my mother tongue, though. If you're firmly determined to disbelieve someone's experiences because that disconfirms your worldview, nothing I'm gonna say can convince you, that's called confirmation bias.

That's what male privileges do, as a white woman, I used to find it incredible to hear my black and Arab friends talk about their discriminatory experiences and thought they were exagerrating or perhaps even making stuff up. And then I began to listen to them and realised that they were telling me the truth.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 03:57 PM

Do you think that there are certain things (such as rape) that men SHOULD NOT do? It seems to me you're of the opinion that men aren't moral agents who should be accountable. That's a very low view of men, lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 03:45 PM
0

To be fair to them, I've been fat and "nearly" obese ever since the end of covid and they do both slut-shame and fat-shame me if I wear a miniskirt, but only AFTER I turned them down. Many of them would greatly enjoy sleeping with a "fat" girl but since she doesn't find them interesting, they'll try to be hurtful by falsely pretending they find her disgusting.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 03:41 PM
1

My brother is struggling with relationships, he does watch porn but he also told me that if he sees sexy pictures of a girl on a dating profile, he's just gonna enjoy it and finds it perfectly fair the woman may want to attract other guys than him. That's what every guy who doesn't feel entitled to sex should think. Instead, they seek to hurt her and spread rumours about her because they've never learned to accept their sexual frustration. That's what male privileges and toxic masculanity do.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 03:35 PM
-1

And that's quite an arrogant and rude statement that makes it unlikely any woman of value would wanna date you.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 03:26 PM
-2

It isn't inconsistent for a woman to show off skin and to want to be desired by guys but not REDUCED to an object. When I go out with friends and acquaintances, it feels good to see men who appreciate my personality also like my wearing a miniskirt and make-up. It becomes totally gross and dehuminasing if a man only sees me as a piece of meat to be quickly consumed.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 03:23 PM
0

Well, THESE men aren't very discrete when it comes to that, lol, they talk about porn while everyone can hear them. And several days later, you may hear them saying that a girl ins't "respectable" because of her sexy pictures on her dating app. I honestly don't know any red-pill guy who doesn't like to watch porn, do you?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 03:11 PM
1

Nope, where I live slut-shaming isn't mostly done by women of my age. At most, what you may hear is that Only Fans and other such apps are exploitative and dehumanising.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 03:08 PM
1

Since you know nothing about me, my background and my geographical location, it's quite an outlandish claim to say that the men I'm describing are "just in my head". I think that if you listened more to your female aquaintances, many of them would tell you they experience that kind of things.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 02:53 PM
0

I do believe in 'should' as I think that are some moral values which are objectively binding. Don't be a hypocritical asshole is one of them. There is a big difference between saying: "There is nothing wrong with her being sexy and promiscuous but I wouldn't want to date her" and saying: "She's an evil slut who's destroying Western civilisation" while enjoying porn.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 02:46 PM

It's particularly disgusting to see their using pseudo-religious justification, there is an increasing number of young self-proclaimed Christian men who constantly complain about the hyperfeminisation and "whorification" of society but amongst themselves, they grossly talk about their sexual fantasies involving the girls of their age who sit in the pews.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 02:41 PM
-4

You're right that those who don't watch porn aren't inconsistent. However, where I live, almost all guys who respouse that ideology are huge consumers of porn made for the male gaze that objectifies women, and the very same men slut-shame girls who put sexy pictures on their dating profiles.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 02:35 PM
2

Yup! At the same time, it also think that OF and other similar websites that reduce women to their bodies for the male gaze while erasing their personalities are problematic, but that's another debate. Regardless of that, it's just a fact that if a man likes and enjoys watching porn, he should completely support the right of a woman to dress sexily while flirting and accept the fact she may not be into it.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 02:24 PM
3

Yeah, you truly hit the nail! It's all about THEIR selfish interests and the fulfillment of THEIR wishes, they absolutely don't give a fuck about the well-being of a woman in a relationship, otherwise they would no longer watch manosphere contents.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 02:20 PM
4

Yeah, there might be expections and nuances, but a very large number of them are sad that they don't live at a time where they could have had female sexual slaves.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 02:07 PM
2

Thanks for your answer. I find it good you don't resent women because of that, my brother is like you. There is, of course, nothing wrong with what you've described. However, I don't think that one's having unfulfilled romantic wishes means one is doomed to a life of unhappiness, I know quite a few counter-examples.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 05:49 AM
2

In other words, does your suffering mainly stem from the fact that you badly want to sleep with attractively dressed women who aren't into you? Do you generally resent them for that? I'm not asking that in order to judge you, I'd just like you to be honest about your feelings.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 09:29 PM

You've made a good point about their being "allowed to feel sad, they just shouldn’t feel entitled to women". At the same time, I don't think that failing to find a partner who'll bring you pleasure and joy is a requirement to live a good life, I know plenty of examples of non-asexual people who manage to be happy without a relationship. I've been fat since the end of Covid, I no longer tend to attract the guys that turn me on and it does happen that I fail to find any guy I'd like to sleep with…

I'm trying to better understand your position. If you had normal friendships with men and women and were able to sleep with girls regularly but in a non-romantic context (e.g. an escort girl who only asks you 20 euros because she pities you), would you feel happy and satisfied? Is your strong need for sex what keeps you from being fulfilled?

I hope your post won't be removed. I'm a girl and I have an autistic brother who's struggling with relationships, he isn't a virgin but he's sadly unattractive to "normal" women and fails to find any girl he'd be happy with. He luckily doesn't feel entitled to love and sex, and I'm actively helping him make and keep friends. I tell him there is no guarantee we'll be romantically fulfilled but that we're free to ground our happiness in other things. He recently told me he's still sad not to have …

If a self-described feminist wants to enslave you, you perhaps shouldn't try to reason with her but that's EXTREMELY rare and I reckon that the few women who think that way are clinically delusional. On the other hand, I know plenty of men who would like to enslave me as a woman and they aren't delusional but just wicked.

As an egalitarian woman, is there a point for me to discuss with members of the manosphere who think I'm too emotional to vote and that I should give up my career in stem, get married to a man I'm not particularly attracted to and be submitted to him?

You need to be much more specific than that and quote a real study alongside the questions being asked. To almost all red-pill men I have talked to, women "hate" them because they don't wanna sleep with them. That's crazy talk, I don't want to sleep with my dad and my younger brother but I don't hate them, lol :-)

"Thank you for acknowledging that men are seen as more disposable than women. Doesn't this contradict your previous statement that "men face less serious problems than women" There are no egalitarian feminists who wanna men to take foolish risks and I know that my younger and easily manipulable autistic brother suffered a lot from the expectation he had to override his inborn sense of caution in order to be seen as a "true guy". I taught him to fuck that and to always trust his self-preservation…

Those who know me in real life know full well it is ridiculous to say that I hate or despise men as a whole. I do think that, ON AVERAGE, men face less serious problems than women, however an individual man may very well face much more hardship than me in a given situation, and I'd never deny his suffering, and neither would most of my friends who identify as feminists. Otherwise, lots of male-specific problem aren't caused by women but by TOXIC MASCULANITY. There are much more males than female…

Yes, non-psychotic women kill very few men in comparison to non-psychotic men. However, when it comes to men and women suffering from schizophrenia or a psychotic phase of their depression, I don't think this still holds as your whole socialisation and moral compass no longer or barely play a role if you're suffering from terrible delusions. We have, for instance, examples of psychotic women killing their own children.

Yes, I was clinically depressed during the stressful time of my PhD, I had got to go to the emergency of a hospital because I could no longer bear the psychosomatic pain, every breath was painful. What? If you truly think that about my post, you've never learnt how to read between the lines, dude. I was reacting to the OP who said that women do not act rationally when it comes to dating because they reject men who match all the cases. Through a very similar reasoning, I could argue I matched all his cases too but that'd be a very silly thing for me to say. That's called a REDUCTIO-AD-ABSURDUM in logics.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 09:15 AM

Honestly, here in Western Europe most men think it'd be utterly crazy and disgusting to remove our voting rights or our rights to work and to own property. Most dads are supportive when it comes to helping their daughters build up their career. So I think it is neither right nor useful to say that men in general want to own women as if this were an essential part of male nature.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 07:27 AM

I don't think it's useful to react to the sexist OP who essentialises women in a negative way by essentialising men in a negative way, there are lots of men who don't want to own women. Actually, my dad taught me to always look out for signs that a guy I'm dating would like to own me. There are many men who fight against it. The problem is that social media algorithms make it seem like toxic abusive men are everywhere.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 07:06 AM

And most of them are against making conscription obligatory for men and to threaten them with prison if they don't obey. There are already way too many rapists who're roaming freely, it'd be crazy for me as an egalitarian feminist to support a law that would put men in jail because they don't wanna serve in the army.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 06:56 AM

You forget to mention there are also lots of left-wing feminists who don't think that conscription should be obligatory for ANYONE. Yes, my point was that based on pure reason, he should have been more attracted to me, however attraction doesn't stem from pure reason. You can't logic your way into a man's heart either. I really really liked a guy who works in the same field as I and has the same interests and political beliefs but he didn't find me attractive and ended up with another girl he has less things in common with. Both are happy together, regardless of whether I like it or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 08:45 AM

That's what I've been seeking to explain to the manosphere, to no avail. When I was a teenage girl with ADHD and autistic traits, I was horribly bullied by women who often self-proclaimed to be feminists. It was so bad that I often questioned whether staying alive was worth it and despite knowing I had suicidal thoughts, they kept doing it. I've no doubt that this type of women can harm innocent men in a relationship but not because they're women but because they're terrible persons, period.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/26 03:43 PM

You've made great points but when it comes to the gender war, I think it's counter-productive to answer to men essentialising us by essentialising men, there are lots of guys who have no tendency whatsoever to murder or rape someone and who earnestly seek to overcome their sexist prejudices, if they have some. But yeah, it's disgustingly hypocritical for a guy who doesn't care about the threats women are exposed to to feel indignant because some feminists go too far in their criticism of men.

It's debatable but I take the view that in France, the far-right does not hate or threaten cis-white women like myself. They do hate Muslims, Blacks, Arabs and often times trans-women, even when they are white. As a result of that, we don't see the same trend as in the US or the UK where cis-white women massively support the Left because the far-right is a threat to them. A feminist is someone who fights for women's rights or to alleviate women's problems ON THE BASIS OF THE FUNDAMENTAL EQUALITY BETWEEN MEN AND WOMEN. This is the dictionary definition I use. That's an interesting point! In the same way as many men who preach conservative value are hypocrites who only do that because those values arrange them, some women wouldn't like female sexual freedom if they were turned into a man who badly want to have sex but can't because girls prefer more attractive guys. It is sad, as a woman, I totally recognise that men from the lower classes suffer from despair and loneliness, but women aren't the culprits, capitalism mostly is.

I agree, but predatory men are very good at making us believe they're kind and benevolent during the "honeymoon phase" in order to groom us, withstanding them demands a lot of preparation.

I guess that in my case, my frequent mood fluctuations stemming from my ADHD, depression and anxieties makes me less vulnerable to that because I constantly question my (small and big) choices including my career, my circle of friends and my loved one if I'm in a relationship. But that's a double-edged sword as I've debilitating moments of indecision and doubts.

I'm unwilling to make general statements about either my gender or men because I think that the individual variations are way too high. However, there are many of my fellow young women who've (rightly!) pushed back against unambiguously creepy men but who overreact by demonising (straight) male sexuality and consider that the mere fact that two men say to one another that they like a girl's miniskirt or her shape is disgusting. They also say that as a woman, you're free to be as sexy as you want…

I understand that my wordings was very strong and that you may have perceived it as a personal attack, I was being emotional but not angry. My belief that the phrase "sexless losers" is problematic and counter-productive and has ableist implications doesn't mean I believe you're a bad person or that I'm feeling indignant against you, I mean I say problematic things all the time and it's good when people criticise some of my views. I know you may not have meant it that way, however that phrase co…

I hate the incels and what they say, however it's deeply problematic to say that a man (or a woman) that struggles to get sex or pleasant sex is a "loser". My autistic brother isn't a virgin but he struggles a lot with relationships, he doesn't feel entitled to anything, and when he hears people calling him a loser that makes him wanna unalive himself. Surely, we can condemn the shit of the incels and the red-pill without being ableist?

And what does that torture consist of for you? Does it justify a girl being sexually harassed? In my male-dominated environment where a lot of guys tend to ignore me or to downplay my ideas, to consider they know better than me a topic I studied during my PhD, it's truly funny to say the effect of a red miniskirt and high heels, how they can't help looking at me and trying to chat me up.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/26 04:16 PM

The fact you have to face this abusive behaviour so often truly frightens me. I'd be disgusted by everything you've described, however if I wear fanciful or provocative clothes, I don't mind men making me compliments, it can be pleasant if they immediately back off if I tell them I'm not interested, otherwise this is the beginning of sexual harassment, if he touches me suddenly without ours being in some kind of relationship, that's sexual assault.

I consider it very unlikely that they have the personality of a predator and I'd need strong evidence to update my probability in such a way I'd see them now as guilty, to my horror. However, the probability of theirs being falsely accused is very low

I'm a girl, I've ADHD, as a child and teenager I was both inattentive and hyperactive, I was badly bullied by both the system and my male and female "comrades". Why should we turn this into a gender issue rather than a way society systemicly discriminate against people who have another kind of brain than theirs?
/r/MensRights11/06/26 08:48 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/26 06:57 PM
3

""you are not like other girls": it's definitely a red flag as it is a ground for suspicion, at the same time as a woman I did say something like that to an ex (and I still think it is true), so if a man had only bad experiences with his exes, I may understand why he thinks like that. At the same time, I'd consider it more likely he's gone down the manosophere rabbit hole and would be wary of him.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/26 06:55 PM
2

You're right we should be very wary of "green flags" as narcisstic and abusive men are very good at making us believe they are angels of light whilst hiding their dark shadows. However, if I see a clear red flag such as a man parotting the talking points of the manosphere or uttering a racist statement, I'm just gonna run away as fast as I can from him.

They assume that if it's POSSIBLE a woman may wear a dress in order to be attractive to men, it is also LIKELY she does so. This is a classical cognitive mistake. I might find a male friend who's half-naked in summer hot but he may not try to be impressing any girl at all. The only one situation where a guy can be pretty sure a girl is doing that with the intention of flirting, namely when she has sexy pictures on Tinder, but the same holds true for men who post such pics as well.

Yeah, men are often terrible at guessing women's thoughts and intentions, lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/26 01:50 PM

I agree that some women overreact but that stems from the fact that it very seldom happens that a woman can physically force a man to have sex with her, there is a big gender imbalance in that regard.

Yeah, I know lots of guys who like sexualised girls on their own terms but get upset and angry when a woman is scantily dressed but only for flirting with other men and not with them. I remember talking with a male aquaintance of mine at a karaoke who was complaining that one of the young women who was singing showed off a lot of skin and that she was objectifying herself and when I asked him whether he'd think that if he knew he'a chance with her, his silence truly spole volume, lol.

How do you define the word "misandrist"? I don't hate all men, I deeply love my father and my younger brother but I also think that the loathsome crazy patriarchal ideas of the manosphere are a huge problem and that they contribute directly to toxic masculanity and to the rape culture that is rising among men around my age (I'm 28). ON WHAT GROUNDS can someone assert I'm a "man hater"?

As a young woman, slut-shaming used to hurt me but now it just makes me laugh. A while ago, I remember being slut-shamed at the uni by men who, ironically, like hypersexualised girls in videogames. It was in summer and I was wearing a normal skirt but they found it was too short and too distracting even though the thought of pleasing guys had nothing to do with it. It took me aback first but I then decided to react by wearing, on the next days, an unmistakenly sexy red miniskirt I had bought for…

I agree I should have worded that more carefully, however I think, based on my brother's experiences, that being an autistic male means being less attractive to girls, it's sad, but it seems hard to deny it.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/26 12:51 PM
2

Objectively, we're both average-looking. However, since men are much more shallow visual creatures, showing some skin is enough to have a strong effect on them. And that's what makes the manosphere so mad, a respectful guy will enjoy looking at attractively dressed women even if he can't get them, a toxic man will think they owe him sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/26 05:46 AM
1

At the same time, there are also lots of kind austistic guys like my brother, autism makes a man less attractive in the dating market but it doesn't turn him into a misoginistic creep.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/26 05:41 AM

He'd two but this didn't last long, sadly. He also rejected two girls he wasn't attracted to and he told me he perfectly understand why women who aren't drawn to him reject him. He can be very socially akward but he's got a good heart.

A woman may wear sexily looking clothes for reasons that have nothing to do with men, however even when she decides to do this in order to use her sex appeal, no man is entitled to sex with her, she's the only one to decide whether a man is worthy of sleeping with her. Frankly speaking, it's schocking I have to explain this.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/26 04:35 AM

No, he wasn't first of all ugly but average looking, and secondly being autistic may have contributed to him being unattractive, but that wasn't the problem, the problem was his sense of sexual entitlement that erases female agency.

You've made good points, incels who aren't autistic would never say that if other people can hear that too as they are fully aware of what they'd be considered to be. Autistic men lack that self-awareness and as you well said we were alone in a floor. To be objective, if I'd been (for work-related reasons only) in his flat while being unsuspecting, he would have not raped me if I'd told him explicitely "Don't do that because that's rape and against the law!". As a European woman, I don't necessarily totally agree with these policies because they're based on the problematic that the disrepancies only stem from sexist biases in the workplace. And yet, people like this man do exist, you can argue that not all red-pill blokes act like him but you cannot deny his existence if you're fully informed.

This picture is a big straw-man/ straw woman, in the second case I may not have the same smile, but if he doesn't insist and take a no for a no, I'd never report him, that'd be wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/26 08:08 PM
6

Yeah, I generally won't be attracted to average guys I don't know wearing that, however if I know the man and like his personality, clothes that accentuate his "sexy masculine lines" can have a strong effect on me. And it does happen that the guy will reject me in favour of another girl because I've been rather fat since the end of Covid and he can get an hotter gal. The very thought of hating this man because of my sexual frustration would never enter my mind.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/26 08:05 PM

Yeah, men are often very bad at intepreting female clothing behaviour and may think that showing one's belly at the gym is ALWAYS for their attention, lol. However, in my case part of the reason of my being sexy was that I wanted to flirt with guys in this stressful periode of my life (end of my PhD) and I think there is nothing wrong with that, in the dating market, you should try to be as attractive and desirable as you can.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/26 08:02 PM

Yes, it's perfectly fair for a man I'm not attracted to to approach me because he finds me attractive but only if he's RESPECTFUL and immediately takes a no for a no, otherwise he's a creep and a threat.

That's a good question! I tell him that he should first of all seek to be happy WITHOUT a relationship and without sex. If he gets grounded and has a good friend circle, a relationship may emerge as a by-product of his being stable and confident, but he shouldn't rely on it. Likewise, I eventually wanna find a great man who'll become the father of my future children but there is no guarantee I'll find him, it'd be foolish for me to ground my self-worth in this.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/26 07:55 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/26 07:48 PM
7

Yeah, I'm 28-years old, soon 29, and the men of my generation tend to be much more toxic and entitled than old millenial men who are often quite respectful and try not to be sexist, some of them hit on me and the age difference can be problematic, however they generally do not insist and don't think I owe them anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/26 07:45 PM
9

Oh yes, a man who wanna to rape someone won't have any qualms to do it to a woman with a long headscarf! However, I do get much more disrespectful comments while being dressed sexily, they usually aren't as traumatic as the experience I've described that was quite extreme, however I often experience slut-shaming, and so do my girl friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/26 07:41 PM
8

Maybe I'm just vain, but feeling desired and being approached by RESPECTFUL guys who don't reduce you to an object and immediately take a no for a no feels good too 😉 It's just a perfectly natural part of human female sexuality.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/26 07:37 PM

He certainly is! However, I do have experienced men being much more insisting and creepy if I choose to show some skin, but I refuse to change my habits and style because of them, and they should get locked up if they try to act upon their wishes.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/26 04:49 PM

Thus is true, he was guilty but I don't think he's a psychopath beyond any hope of redemption, he just gave in to a seductive narrative according to which attractively dressed women owe him sex. But that was clearly a conscious choice on his part, there are lots of autistic guys who aren't misogonists.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/26 04:46 PM

Yeah, my younger brother is himself autistic and struggles with dating, but unlike him he doesn't think he's entitled to anything. This is also why this experience badly hurt me, because of such men, respectful guys like my brother who aren't good at dating get a bad rap.

I should maybe have reported him but I knew very little about his country, their language and how they handle such cases and since I was strongly stressed as my PhD was nearing its end, I decided not to go any further. I largely agree. However, I think it's important to realise that men haven't a collective hive mind, I'm glad to see the sexual frustration of misogynistic men, at the same time there are also men who aren't sexist who fail to find romantic love and know they aren't entitled to this.

Do you have statistical studies to back up your claims about "most women admit they don't give a shit..." Because of the utter HORRORS of the manosphere (women should no longer vote, women should obey their husbands, coerced sex in a marriage isn't rape, no "non-fault" divorce ...), lots of young women have become radicalised and have lost their ability to feel empathy towards men. You should also try to put yourself in our shoes, if you were yourself a young woman, you'd feel utterly disgusted, angry or threatened by online mysoginists who consider you as an object and don't think you should have r…

As a socialist, I think that the main problem stems from the profit maximisation of greedy share-holders in tech companies. Their only goal in life is to make money and they don't care about the mutual hatred between men and women they're sowing, actually they like it if that makes them richer and richer. That's psychopathy on steroids. https://viewdigital.org/how-capitalism-is-profiting-from-misogyny-a-deep-dive-into-the-exploitation-of-gender-stereotypes-in-mobile-gaming/

I don't know where you live but in my circles, very few women (who aren't broke) want their men to spend much more money than they do, actually if my brother was in such a relationship, I'd give him the advice to run away as quickly as he can. Like in every social or political movement, there are bad apples in feminism who use it to reach their own self-seeking ends and do not truly stand for equity/equality. I TOTALLY agree with that! My younger autistic brother struggles with relationships (his sexual orientation is also somewhat ambiguous) but he absolutely doesn't feel entitled to a relationship and he himself turned down girls he didn't like, he refreshingly told me that men who hate single women because they reject them are "utterly mad". I wouldn't be so harsh as to call men who fail to attract partners "failures", many of them are unattractive through no fault of their own or through disabilities or mental health conditions. The problem is the thought that they are ENTITLED to sex and to love and that it is a fundamental need they're being deprived of.

In my experience, this has almost never led to me doing all the work, except in cases where the man was clearly sexist, in which case I ran away. I totally agree that in a healthy relationship or marriage, there might be different roles depending on the people involved, however saying that it's always the role of the man to provide and to pay is counter-productive, as that makes women look like hypocritical money suckers and provides the manosphere with ammunitions. Certainly not by all women. I have a good job and if I'm dating a man, I don't want him to pay for more, I wanna things to be equally balanced. Progressives haven't a hive mind. By pushing back against the misogynistic remark, you've already done your job. If the sexist man's belief in male supremacism is so strong that he refuses to listen to you, that's not your fault and there would be no point for you to get assaulted. At the same time, if you're a decent man, you should stop to consider him a friend for the same reason I shouldn't be the friend of a white supremacist person who's fully internalised and adopted this worldview.

I don't think you can blame left-wing feminists as a whole for the toxic online behaviour of some women who are foolish enough to think they can be left-wing while shaming men for being gay or not wanting to go to war. That's the law of offer and demand. The average woman is grounded and can be happy without a man, and yes, even without sex. The average man cannot, his hapiness and self-worth are tied to his being in a relationship or having sex. I agree that "what about men" is a terrible answer when talking about an abusive woman who needs to be held accountable for her own choices and deeds. At the same time, let's face it: the consequences of misogyny are EXTREMELY worse than those of misandry, in the large majority of cases, misandry leads an innocent and good man to be verbally attacked and sometimes bullied even though he didn't deserve it, thereby result…

If you tell me: "SOME men are boys have issues that aren't taken seriously by society and suffer from it", I'm fully on board. However, the notion that men as a whole suffer from "horrific abuses" is ... well, somewhat ridiculous to say the least. This leads normies to overreact and to completely reject the notion that men have any problems worth mentioning. Which is exactly why I wrote my post.

I obviously cannot answer to all your points, however when it comes to "State-Mandated Disposability", I can assure you that left-wing and leftist feminists and egalitarian women don't like that at all, we don't want our brothers, boyfriends and sons to suffer and die in order to uphold an empire, the only men who should die are the war-mongers.

My mentioning the suffering of Palestinian boys and girls was a clear way to show I don't consider the problems of a human being as less problematic merely because they've got XY chromosomes. If I were a misandrist, I'd feel less sad about male Palestinians being killed. But I don't.

That being said, there are also many women whose genuine goal is to find the RIGHT man they'll be happy with. The brainwashing really starts when you tell a girl that getting married and having children is an end in and of itself, even if you only manage to find a sub-optimal partner that fails to significantly incrase your level of hapiness and joy.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/26 11:57 AM

You go, girl! :-) The way I see it, these men hate the fact that when it comes to sex, they've got to work considerably harder to find a partner whereas for a woman, making herself cute and sexy MAY be enough. In a phase when I was looking for not too serious encounters (after a break-up), I remember that several guys complimented me for my wearing a flirty miniskirt and I thanked them for the compliments but turned them down. SOME feminists have covered up evidence of abuse because they wrongly thought this is a zero-sum game. I can assure you this isn't the mainstream view where I live, I'm well aware there are toxic and abusive women out there and I don't ever seek to defend them given that they also like to verbally bully other women. Because it is extremely rare that the few red-pill men who don't espouse these misognistic ideas really condemn them. To condemn bigoted ideas that are omnipresent in a group, it is not enough to criticise them now and then, you must leave the group and create a new one where these ideas are forbidden. If a very large number of folks in a group I am a part of began to espouse and defend racist ideas, I'd leave them behind and warn others about them. Any other choice would be complacency.

I don't think that the real problem is feminism or anti-racism. The problem is that the US has an extremly harsh capitalist system that doesn't care about class oppression and mental illnesses, everyone has to fend for himself/herself. Yeah and this is a big problem in modern feminism. Those who think it is empowering based on the experiences of well-off young women who don't have to rely on it in order to survive tend to strongly downplay the ordeal of those who are coerced to do that out of financial necessity and neither do they talk about the fact that women who do that basically erase their personality and only show their bodies for the male gaze.

Instead of being taught to accept sexual frustration as a normal part of life, to learn how to be happy without a relationship and to develop a stable and reliable character, they are told to hate women and to dehumanise them, which divides the probability of theirs ever finding love by at least a factor of 1000 (I ask ChatGPT to write me a Python-script that gave me this value ;-) )
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/26 10:11 AM

I think that what you described might have taken place in a parallel universe full of your fantasies rather than in the real one we live in, lol. Given the huge power imbalance between the intern and the boss who can make her fail her internship, these relationships are almost always immoral, even if she doesn't say no. And almost no woman would like to have a relationship with a guy who cannot control his dick during a "high libido phase".
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/26 10:07 AM

Yes, I totally agree with that! However, it's useful to deconstruct the notion that someone who likes to look attractive to the other gender intents to cheat. This can all too easily lead the man to police the woman's clothes, thereby resulting in a break-up.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/26 09:45 AM

And that's exactly that type of mindset and jokes that makes it nearly impossible for red-pill guys to find a woman who'd want to put up with them EVEN IF they are physically attractive.

Oh but you can be assured there is no possible world where the thought of dating such a man would ever enter my mind ;-) All I want is for a man who went down the red-pill rabbit hole to stop hating women as a group and to realise he's been lied to by the red-pill influencers who wanna make a lot of money by exploiting his naivity. As a socialist concerned about global warming and AI, I think we absolutely need broad voter coalitions and that the hideous Red Pill ideology is useful to the rich a…
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/26 09:36 AM

I have sympathy with guys struggling with dating, my younger autistic brother is in that situation. However, that doesn't justify HATRED against women. I don't hate a man I want because he rejected me in favour of a hotter girl.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/26 09:26 AM

Oddly enough, if it's combined with my wits, intelligence and sense of humour, it often doesn't have that effect as the guys I end up sleeping with contact me again to go hiking or to the cinema. However, there are girls who reduce themselves to their bodies and you're right that almost all guys who approach them only think of sex. That's why I'm not fond of dating apps like Tinder that tend to erase one's personality.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/26 09:24 AM

Everyone is different, if you ain't fond of such things, that's perfectly fine for me!
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/26 09:18 AM

It's also ironic there are so many red-pill influencers who tell their followers to look muscular and hot in order to increase their chances.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/26 09:16 AM

Well, it's cute you feel so concerned about my weight, however I'm not obese but overweight, I wasn't before Covid but now I just enjoy eating chocolate and sweet things more often, and believe me or not, it can be much more pleasant than going out with a mediocre man ;-) Liking attention is natural and human and doesn't mean you wanna cheat on your partner if you have one. I mean, I know married guys who post sexualised pictures with their half-naked muscular body and they've no intention to ch…
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/26 09:00 AM

Absolutely not, lol, living with one of them would be hell on earth. But they are growing in number due to the social media algorithms, they display a terribly toxic behaviour and understanding better their thought process in order to deradicalise them is a worthy undertaking in my humble opinion. Asking them to state and justify their beliefs is a step in the right direction as those who aren't yet radical might realise there are lots of holes in them. Take care!

Yes, looks obviously play a role but for me and many other women, a great character and awesome achievements can totally trump physical attractiveness, I like to look at the beach pictures of average male acquaintances of me who've an admirable character, I wouldn't if they were random nobodies. The beauty of their soul makes them hot to me. The situation you've described only concerns a subset of women who are shallow and materialistic, you should just learn how to recognise them in order not t…

We no longer live in the middle age, at least in my country most young women are financially independent and we'll never settle for a guy on the grounds he's the "safe option" if we aren't also attracted to him. However, it's quite likely I will prefer to be with an average-looking guy who turns me on through his intelligence and kindness than with a very attractive "Chad" whose sincerity is doubtful. Why should that be a problem for you?

I'm not convinced that proportionately speaking, women are overrepresented in comparison to bisexual and gay men who falsely accuse another person. Maybe. I mean, I've been bullied by other girls so you'll never hear me say that all women are good and perfect, lol. At any rate, you should all calm down: I'm well aware that not all men would rape a woman, my father and younger brother would never do that, they aren't worse than bears. It's possible that the female conviction rate is a little bit lower because of benevolent sexism and double standards, however the explanation by far is that we commit on average far less crimes than men, men are the violent sex.

I don't want to socially ostracise a well-meaning man who has some sexist ideas, as we are often not responsible for the prejudices we take in from the culture and society that surrounds us. Instead, I wanna teach him to become a better man. However, if a man is deeply convinced that the well-being of women is much less important than that of men, then he should be cancelled and I'll warn other women about him.
/r/ExRedPill02/04/26 06:24 PM

This is why I think it is important to prioritise restorative justice when it comes to confronting sexism and to first try to deradicalise young men. Retributive justice should only be applied if they're beyond any hope and start to actively harm women in their midst.

Most importantly, there is no guarantee you can get satisfying sex. As an average-looking rather fat woman, I can attract guys by wearing make-up, showing some cleavage etc. but it often happens that I fancy none of them. In terms of pleasure, I am MUCH better off tasting white chocolate in front of the TV with friends rather than sleeping with a man I don't feel drawn to.

You're right when it comes to human history. However, before the social media algorithms driven by profit, there were signs that in the West, more and more men have become egalitarian. I'm 28-years-old and I often feel much more respected by millennial or older men than by men of my age, the greed of X and Meta CEOs and share holders are making men much more regressive and misoginistic. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2026/mar/05/gen-z-men-baby-boomers-wives-should-obey-husbands

I also find it disgusting they use pseudo-religious justifications by picking and choosing sexist verses from the Bible while ignoring the passages that speak of the pleasure of the man and of the woman as being equally important. It's no wonder that so many young women are leaving the Church behind with this type of mindset.

A HUGE problem is that many red-pill young men now think it is foolish to have a normal friendship with a young woman, she's either sexually interested in you or you should be indifferent to her. That strongly contributes to their tendency to see women as a means to an end and to dehumanise them, thereby making themselves much more unattractive than they already were.

In such a world, it's quite likely I'd be traumatised by the sex. At best, I'd get used to it and see it as a boring duty in the same way as a prostitute who has to sleep with mediocre guys in order to get enough food to survive and not to get sick. I honestly don't think there are lots of gals who fantasise about this, lol.

In such societies, lots of women internalise patriarchy and male dominance. Typically, a woman who have to sleep with such a husband would see it in the same way as a modern-day escort woman who's got to sleep with guys she doesn't find attractive in order to pay off her student or medical debts. She might not feel suicidal, however her husband would get all the fun during sex. Since women are (by far) physically weaker than men on average, there is no way they can overcome the system. It's very hard for me to understand how any woman may wish to be with one of them. Even if she says and does what they want, they'll still see her as inferior to them. I'm 28-years old and dating has become much harder because of the popularity of these ideas among guys of my generation.

It can lead to trauma but in quite a few cases in medieval Europe, women didn't suffer horribly, however sex was a boring, unappealing and uninteresting duty for the wife whereas it felt wonderful for the husband and the wife wouldn't have chosen the husband if she'd been sexually free. Let's assume that (like in medieval Europe) a wife is supposed to give her husband the sex he wishes, using physical coercion isn't seen as a positive thing but it isn't criminalised either. Let's further assume that marriages are arranged by families and society and that a woman cannot say no, as a man, you'd be entitled to have a wife, you're not free to choose her, but she cannot reject you once she's been assigned to you. That "culture difference" between men and women seems to be specific to the English-speaking world, though. I think it's correct, as an average-looking fat (but not obese) woman, guys are such incredibly shallow visual creatures that all I have to do is to show some cleavage to attract some of them. On the other hand, I would never want to have sex with an average guy who's not intelligent, funny and kind-hearted. By flirting, I meant female influencers who reacted to compliments from other guys in a playful way and got slut-shamed because of that. If you're in a monogamous relationship, I totally agree it'd be wrong for anyone (man or woman) to meet someone else. By the way, the girls who do that aren't hypocrites, if their boyfriend compliment another girl on social media, they're perfectly fine with it. Yep! I actually also like to dress sexily for men who see me as a PERSON, like my intellect, my wits, my political views ... and my cleavage. I partly agree with you. However, it's very rare that women REDUCE a man to nothing more than a sex toy. Sadly, many men do that all the time. Nevertheless, there is nothing wrong for a man to think to himself: "Wow, she's such an intelligent woman and she's so hot while showing off cleavage!", women who demonise this type of desires are going way too far, most of us want to be wanted by guys who like both our personalities and our bodies. If he only thinks I'm intelligent, he's just gonna inter…

I'm all in favour of using our sexyness to get what we want from guys but not if the price is to be reduced to objects. The problem I have with OnlyFans and the large majority of the sex industry under CAPITALISM is that they systematically erase their personality and only show off their body. I prefer Youtube female creators who'll produce intelligent content while often being scantily clad so that lots of guys can't resist the temptation to follow the channel, lol. But as you said, many men wh…

And if you try as a girl to post something that is somewhat critical of guys, you're often prevented from doing so for no apparent reason ...

You made really great points, lumping all guys together is not helpful when it comes to fighting misogyny, it all too often backfires. However, don't you think that for an average man, the strength of visual stimulation is much higher than for an average woman? There are psychological studies showing that. I know that I can feel turned on by very hot guys wearing revaling clothes but average guys leave me indifferent, unless I realise they've a great personality, in which case I can find them se…

As an average-looking overweight girl, I can tell you that causual encounters totally suck, I'm generally not gonna draw the kind of men I like and the large majority of them would treat me like an object to be used. However, during events like boarding games or language exchanges where I have intelligent conversations with people, it often feels very good to see that several guys really appreciate my knowledge and my wits AND my cleavage and try to flirt with me :-) I don't think there is anyth…

As a girl on such apps, it might be funny to have an account with cute or revealing pictures and getting compliments, but if you accept to meet one of these men in the real world, the likelihood he's a manipulator who only sees you as an object is quite high, and this can lead to sexual assault. Dating guys I meet during social events is a lot safer.

The best advice I can give these men is that they must first learn how to be happy and fulfilled WITHOUT having a girlfriend and having sex. If I feel that a man is despaired, it's an huge red flag as this makes me fear he might only see me as a quick fix for his mental health issues rather than desire me as a person. This holds for single women too, I'm not ugly but overweight since COVID and not particularly attractive, and while making myself cute and showing some cleave may get me noticed by…

I also think that many guys should accept the fact that they're physically and mentally unattractive and that they should try to be happy without a relationship.

If you want to have a stable family later on in life, you absolutely need to explore yourself and find out what you truly want on an emotional and sexual level. I'm 28-years-old and I'd like to settle down with a great guy but I'm in no hurry if it's for divorcing or leaving him a few years later because we aren't that compatible.

It's a small ego boost that can sometimes be nice but quickly disappear whenever the guy starts to act in a disrepectful and/or creepy manner towards you.

I agree but only if it can be established that lacking this causes very serious mental health issues.

With all due respect, it is completely wrong to say that "promiscuous" women are being avoided by men who "require values", lol. It can happen that when I am in love with a boyfriend and in another town, I'll wear miniskirts while going out, not because I wanna cheat on him but because it feels always nice to be desirable and wanted. I'm average-looking but you cannot imagine the number of guys who try to hit on me, some of them are respectful but other don't even know what the word "consent" me…

I'm a young woman and I've never had a man who could explain to me which objective reasons we have to assume men are being oppressed. The men's lonesomeness epidemics doesn't stem from women but mostly from toxic masculanity. Middle-class and working-class men suffer but that's due to greed-driven capitalism.

Whilst a small number of feminists may dehumanise men in a counterproductive way, I feel that I am much more often dehumanised as a young woman, when I'm online or when I walk in the street and am reduced to a sex object by guys who only use words to communicate with me because they want to get pleasure out of me.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
