I left mine at the house when I moved out. Feels like it was the best decision for me to leave it all behind since it is.

It’s a tough thing to navigate, for sure. I’m going through it and can’t find a clear path ahead… I just want it to go away and it’s a helpless feeling.

My ex has been with a a guy since before we were divorced. Took no time to herself after 17 years in a relationship… just jumped to the next guy who she has already cheated on. I think it’s a self esteem thing for her. She doesn’t have any. Anyway this dude is clueless with my kids and it’s all very frustrating…but out of my control.

Abandoning your child is a huge mistake no matter how you spin it

Getting back to being myself again. The farther away I get from the divorce, the more I realize how bad it was.

I love being single too, but the best thing I’ve done for myself since getting divorced last April was to enroll in grad school. I’m bettering myself, using my brain on something positive and it’s giving me confidence.

I try to make sure my kids are worn out (from fun), dirty (from fun), and that usually results in ready to eat when I drop them off

My ex said the same thing after an awful contested divorce. I think, to her, the idea of taking care of a house alone (and the kids when she has them) was daunting and she was scared of facing it all alone. I asked her if she was joking because hell naw. Sell the house if you can’t handle it, I’m done.

I went through this. Right now I have my ex blocked on text and dropped from social media. I told her if she needed to reach me about the kids to email me. She’s less likely to be abusive in an email that I could use against her later.

My lawyer is a bulldog and had me preemptively take a hair test and weekly utg tests… I’d suggest you do the same

I haven’t signed anything other than a retainer it’s been $20k and endless continuations to the point of the judge saying “get this settled”

My ex got liposuction and god knows what else and you know what? She can go fuck herself. I didn’t marry to not grow old with someone. Don’t take it personally.
