I think that’s a reasonable approach. I am a rather open minded person and like to be exposed to different POVs of issues. The language used to describe women in the book is honestly a huge trigger for me. The author basically paints all women as manipulative, stupid, useless to society, and prostitutes from the age of 12. It makes me shudder tbh. I don’t have much credibility to speak on those things since I did all of that…idk

That’s an interesting way of looking at it. My impression is he sees men as having no issues or the issues they do have are as a result of women.

I struggle with boundaries, and while he did cross this one, he claims it’s a boundary of his as well, which leaves me feeling unsure of how to move forward. I also prefer not to speculate on anyone’s mental health, as I’m not a clinician, and I wouldn’t want others doing that to me. Additionally, I don’t see much benefit in labeling him as cluster B, even if there may be some tendencies. In my experience, someone with a personality disorder needs to come to that recognition on their own and be …

I don’t think he considers himself a victim, but rather, he’s more focused on the struggles that young men face in general. He’s been really concerned with how society treats men unfairly, and I think that has become a significant part of his worldview. He’s aware that he’s successful, attractive, and has plenty of options, so I don’t think he’s complaining about his own life specifically. Instead, he’s more invested in the broader issues facing men today, and that’s likely where his attachment …

Thank you for your thoughtful response. I really appreciate it. The history of our relationship isn’t great, and I think that’s part of what’s contributing to how difficult this situation feels. When he met me, I was a clothing-challenged dancer and involved in other forms of SW—basically a whore. I was also a college dropout with substance abuse issues. He met me while I was in a relationship with someone else, and I cheated on that person with him. Three months into our relationship, he found …

Yeah, I wasn’t clear in my definition of beauty. When I say beauty it goes beyond physical attributes. It’s more than just someone being pretty—it’s about their confidence, their energy, and the goodness they carry within. It’s that combination of qualities.

Sending my sympathy. I’ve tried to have this same conversation with my bf. It’s really frustrating to hear your bf comment on other women’s appearances and ignore their gf’s. My bf didn’t really give me an explanation for why he doesn’t call me beautiful (it’s been two years since). I leave it alone because I don’t want to nag. Also, before anyone comes for me I fit western beauty standards quite well, just yesterday my boss called me beautiful 🤢 OP, I totally understand where you are coming fro…

I recently was looking for a dress to a conservative Mormon wedding and posted in a different subreddit. Check out the brands mentioned by the commenters, there’s lots of good options in there. I ended up renting this dress and received a ton of compliments from my religious family. My little sister got her dress here and I thought she looked like a princess.

At the beginning of my relationship I was always sore after sex and usually experienced bleeding. Now, I am mostly adjusted to my man’s size. I rarely bleed after sex or am sore. Not sure if something physically changed or if I’m just more psychologically comfortable with him. Could be both. Lots of foreplay helps though. I don’t think adding lube is a big deal and can make things more pleasurable for you. My bf and I use condoms that are lubricated which helps.

I initially included the gap but left it out because I find people make judgements on the age gap and lose focus on the relationship issue that I’m asking advice for
