I started calling this the opposite devil spiral. Like the original where bad stuff leads to more bad stuff, this one leads to more good stuff by doing good things. The problem is breaking out. Doing this feels like you are about to do something insanely stupid, like falling from road. It feels like letting go of something good, or letting go of the last good thing you have left. What I seem to say a lot lately: go buy more mr nice guy and models. It helps iMMENSLY in realizing what is "wrong" with you and gives actually doable solution on becoming what you were always supposed to be.

Do you have fear of actuall success? Does approaching THEM yourself actually give you any closes/feeling of "success"? To me it seems like your brain spaces out because you tumble into a situation you aren't prepared for and thus don't know how to play it without the usual outcome.
