Yeah, this is the problem. A man “with an excellent body, handsome face, charming personality, good job, but who wants sex fairly quickly” is low value, period. You're projecting what you consider to be high value and trying to make women conform to your belief. Just because your idea of a HVM is shallow, doesn’t mean ours is. Despite being told twice what HV actually means to FDS, you’re determined to be obtuse. Treating women and his own body with respect is the first filter FDSers use. If you…

You are confused about what "high-value" means to FDS women. A man who wants sex with the least amount of effort is literally the definition of low value. We don't care if he is a "6/6/6" or whatever BS the manophere invents to aspire to. If he's the kind of man who treats his own body and women's bodies like dented soup on a clearance shelf, he is low value. He's already yeeted himself from an FDSer's consideration. Lol if you think 3 evenings spent chatting is enough time to go from a complete…

You've almost got it, but not quite. HVM by definition are not looking for casual sex. They want the stability and emotional security from a committed relationship just like FDSers (and frankly, most women) want. If the only men available to FDSers end up being LVM, then we are perfectly content to stay single and spend our energy and time on ourselves, our careers and our loved ones. We won't settle for LVM just because we "have" to be in a relationship to live a meaningful life, because that's…

I also hated it when an ex called women "ladies". He said it was because he was "raised in the south". It certainly wasn't because he respected women, so I don't consider the use of "ladies" to be a green flag in a man. The only time I use "boys" to describe adult men is as a term of affection for men with whom I have a pre-existing warm connection. Otherwise I would mean it exactly as it is intended (male children) or as a derogatory term for grown men acting childish. And this is where I think…

Echoing what the other ladies have said. It starts right out of the gate with him wanting multiple biological children (which his family/culture evidently views as status symbols, because he wants to be able to say "I have X children" without actually caring about he children as independent human beings). He knows you have have had your fallopian tubes removed, but he's still pursuing this -- ask yourself why? Is he future faking or is he planning on manipulating you into having children? Unless…

I don't intend for my reply to be directed back at you in particular, but it is directed at the whole premise of competitive sport (as opposed to sport one can practise in the absence of competition like running or swimming or martial arts just for fun and health). I don't deny that competition, in the pursuit of a worthwhile objective, is beneficial to humanity. An entire country can also take pride in the award of Nobel prize to one of its citizens, and it's likely that something useful to all…

What I said was that competition for the sake for the sake of competition (i.e., no societal benefit, while resources are wasted) is a toxic male pursuit. Patriarchal societies encourage the desire for men to humiliate other men, and in modern society, has been sublimated to other arenas of competition, where there is literally no point at all but for some men to win and some to lose. Were it only possible for all the money wasted on these events to be used to feed hungry children or develop sus…

Competition for the sake of competition is a pointless male endeavour that has no real value. The whole ethos of professional competitive sports is soaked in toxic masculinity. We shouldn't be wasting our precious time, attention and money benefiting (male) millionaires transporting various sized balls to and fro around courts and fields owned by (male) billionaires.

Please, for the love of all things rational, we need to stop believing men who are posting their personal fuckboi fantasies. Does this post read at all like an actual woman being cheated on? If there is a woman who would be happy in this situation, why TF would she post this valium-soaked Stepford wife drivel. A man has a fantasy about being rich enough to afford cheating on his wife because he thinks that money can not only buy a woman's approval, but SHE WILL BE HAPPY ABOUT IT. Even the bigges…

Red pillers and RP-adjacent men are completely deluded about value. They think the value is to THEMSELVES, not to their partners. That's why they believe Chads = Alphas = Fuckboi Scrotes. They are literally incapable of considering the needs and values of others. Their minds are broken.

I get kinda anxious if I think about dying before ever having sex again but that’s a bit dramatic on my part :) I have these thought too sometimes! Humans have a remarkable tendency to think that whatever is going on right now is how it will be forever. But you (having been twice married and had children) already know from experience that life can change very dramatically in a short period of time. There's nothing that can't change/improve over the course of a day or week or month. Harbouring a …

In the first place, the constant repeating popups on the site already tell me everything I need to know about this man's lack of understanding about consent. I thought about doing a breakdown of each point of his chicanery (beginning with nOt aLl MeN, which his entire article is precariously perched upon), but let's just end his suffering quickly. This is lovely and truly handbook-worthy. Remember that you have a life before this man, and will continue to live your life after this man. If we remember nothing else, this is the perfect sentiment to reframe every worry and rumination we have about men and our relationships: what did he mean by that? What really happened? Why is he acting this way? Should I believe him? It doesn't really matter. You've survived without a relationship before and you can again, if need be. Take no shit.

Agreed, once he gets past the data presentation, it's absolute garbage. Massive pseudoscience cope. There is a distinct, smug conclusion of "tough shit, ladies!" It does really starkly bring the reality to light though: the only tactic we have as women is to just walk away and refuse to play the game. What a fascinating study! Thank you OP for finding and posting it. I do have a major problem with its findings and conclusion, however. The entire premise of the study is flawed, because the women and men on dating apps are "liking" each other for completely different reasons. The women, in general, are evaluating men for relationships, and the men are evaluating women for hookups. Most of the women are "pickier" because they are rating a whole individual, while men are merely rating a set of ph…

I think it's very true that LVM show resentment when you help them, because they are insecure and their ego is bruised. A HVM may dislike being catered to because he feels infantilized or like his own efforts to carry his fair burden in a relationship is being dismissed or disregarded. That's fair, and he may indeed leave relationships like this because his own need to show his devotion isn't being met. But the woman is not responsible for his feelings or his behaviour. It's an important distinc…

Few men in their 30s can meet the application requirements to be a sperm donor, and most men who began donating in their 20s are required to "retire" from the program by the time they hit 30. Sperm banks don't want old sperm either.

You could be seeing an amazing guy. Someone with no red flags. Someone who treats you like an absolute queen. But then there’s always that lingering feeling in the back of your mind waiting for the other shoe to drop. It’s led me to this point, where I’m more content with the idea of being completely alone. My feelings of anxiousness weren’t a thing at all pre-relationships. It’s when I’m in one, my anxiety is through the roof even if my partner is amazing in so many ways. Much of anxiety come…

Complete ego boost for this guy. He already knew he had no shot, so it was just a way to be able to pretend that he rejected someone who was interested in him in. Of course he's doing that on that particular app, because he knows you have to message him first so he can sit there and fish for women to reject. He probably specifically uses this app, and with a fake picture, just to match with attractive women who would never date him in real life. Male insecurity is ugly.

There could be a situation where the wife is squirreling away her income, under the misconception that it's legally hers alone, while her husband is racking up debts (new car, new boat, gambling, credit cards) and she may not even know he's doing it and has never agreed to it, or signed for it. But when the creditors come for the money, any marital asset could be seized to pay the debts he's incurred, including these savings she thought were hers.

Ok, hot FIRE (financial independence, retire early) take here, but if my partner saw my salary and started mentally spending my money, I wouldn't be too pleased about it either. This guy has made choices about his spending priorities and a lifestyle that his gf was fine with until she saw that he could be spending more if he wanted to. This would be a great resource! We also have to remember that physical assets are subject to splitting as well, including homes/property, vehicles, art/furniture, collections and your spouse can even take half your work pension! Inheritances, gifts and settlements from lawsuits or life insurance policies are often exempt (as long as you keep the money completely separate so it never touches "marital" money), EXCEPT if you purchase a house with it. Thank you for providing professional input! :) I'm not a professional in this field, but I am in the process of divorce and it's important for women to have this information. I've seen many posts and comments made about "His income is for the family and hers is for her savings" but no mention of her potentially losing some or even all of everything she has so carefully saved in a divorce (depending on whether debts have been accrued during the marriage). A reminder for women who intend to keep a separate account for your own earnings during marriage: in many jurisdictions, at the time of marriage breakdown ALL assets are required to be accounted for and split 50/50, regardless of whose name is on them: savings & chequing accounts, investment and brokerage accounts (including retirement accounts!) and possibly crypto and stock certificates. Do not become complacent with your savings, as they may not legally be fully yours. Research the laws in yo…

She's extremely wealthy, accomplished in her career and has the children she wanted. She literally needs nothing tangible from a man, not money nor sperm. At that point, as much of a dog as he is, he's just an emotional support animal. If that's the only unmet need she has and she's keeping him around, then he is probably satisfying that need.

This dynamic of "man earns, woman saves" is part of the older single-income model of marriage. The husband worked outside of the home full time providing the family income and the woman stayed home with the children full time, or worked part-time for a smaller salary. He earned and she saved. To keep us dependent on others, girls and woman have not been encouraged or taught to maximize their incomes through negotiation, strategic advancement and networking. Women have also not traditionally been…

There are more levels of government than just the federal government. Corporate jobs are where people can roll the dice for substantially more reward so that's where the profit-seekers head. But by definition, most will not receive higher than average private sector salaries, which could indeed be below a typical public sector salary for similar work. That's how risk and reward works. Corporate workers shoot their shot rather than "settling" for a highly bureaucratic employment compensation sche…

If there are more government employees who have left-wing leanings, it is because public service rarely pays off in high salaries or glory, and right-wing leaning people tend to be more individualistic and are more likely to seek the material wealth and status of corporate jobs. If right-wingers want smaller government, they will end up with a government staffed exclusively with people who are willing to work lower-paying jobs that serve the interests of others. They can't have it both ways.

I agree with you. While most men will be LV and many of them are on the left and support various woman-harming policies that just "happen" to benefit their thirsty dicks, the argument that they are "just as bad" as right-wing men, who would literally have us bought and sold as slaves, is ridiculous on its face. is a great insight. There's a time for socializing and a time for getting daily chores done. It's easy to interact with others at events where people are sharing a common experience outside of the mundane routines of their daily lives (the museum, the ski lodge, even a bar or library), and then there's the bus and the grocery store which are just a means to complete a chore. You're absolutely right. Many people overestimate how easy it is to get back into the workplace when your contacts and skills have started to soften, if not gotten stale. And when women have multiple children, they can get stuck in a situation where they cannot get back to work until the youngest is in kindergarten and it's been a decade or more since they left their job. Even if you are hired back, your salary will not be commensurate with other employees of your age, and will likely be even lo…

The Social Security administration created this pamphlet with info pertinent to women in particular: https://www.ssa.gov/pubs/EN-05-10127.pdf The simplified summary is that in both the US (Social Security) and Canada (Canada Pension Plan), each year of your adult working life (starting from 18), you pay into the SS/CPP funds through your paid/self employment, which earns you "credits" towards retirement benefits (monthly payments), up to a maximum. I'm here for this. Even if it "makes sense" to stay at home fully or partially to run the household (especially if kids comes along), women need to consider the invisible cost of doing so. I've heard friends say "why should I work when my whole paycheque goes to the day care centre?", but it's not just about the income you are making and immediately spending. It's about the Social Security/CPP credits you are losing that will reduce your benefits and could impoverish you in your old age. There's…

This is exactly right. "...a greater desire to get things done." So girls are indoctrinated from birth to perform to adult expectations, to be independent and to become self-sufficient as adults, which is wonderful, until they pair themselves up with a person who has not been socialized in the same manner. And because she has this "greater desire to get things done", as she's been trained to do, the majority of the labour gets thrown into her lap and she's judged more harshly if it isn't done. T…

I didn't learn the specifics, but it had to do with being "allowed" to attend certain frat functions and being privvy to some of the more "secret" information -- frat brothers legit had binders of "confidential" information about the organization that gfs were not allowed to see. Compassion/empathy and competition are opposites. Since the entire world has been remade by men in their own image, the system that works best for them (destructive and wasteful competition) is the system we're stuck with. So it's no wonder that developing empathy is not only not encouraged, the education system actively discourages it while rewarding iDiViDuAlIsM. The hardest, and most important, way to learn empathy is to force yourself to imagine what it's like to be in someone else's situation. Empathy flows naturally when you understand that you could just as easily find yourself in a difficult situation as someone else, and how you would want to be treated. I inadvertently grew my skill at doing this by looking back at my own past when bad things had happened to me, and intentionally relived them in my mind (I'm a ruminator, so I wasn't doing this on…

That is such a great point! If I ever hear any of this "men are the gatekeepers of relationships" nonsense, I'll know exactly what to respond xD I will slightly disagree with one point: it's male nurture that causes them to evade accountability, not nature. Society has entitled them to such a degree that they have mutated into freakish forever-toddlers. It is not natural for men to be sniveling cowards, which is why women are not sexually attracted to those men.

By the end of the series (current season), it gets very FDS, imho, in terms of the conclusions of both Rosa's arc and Jake/Amy's struggles with careers, family and their relationship. The portrayal of Jake and his various relationships throughout the series not the best lesson overall (i.e. women should be pAtIeNt and wait for immature men to grow up), but it delivered a satisfying conclusion in the end.

The creator(s) is/are certainly trying to push a certain narrative in the naming of the two calculators: "Female Delusion Calculator: I got Standards, Bro" vs. "Male Reality Calculator: I got Dreams" If you set both calculators to the same or equivalent requirements for American men and women then you get the following results*: 4.8% chance for a man to meet your standards, or 15,962,357 men 6.23-7.33% chance to get the "dream" woman, or between 20,717,809 and 24,375,849. I really like the imagery here: each partner in a relationship is the sovereign of their own life, and their partner is their most trusted minister -- their advice and contribution is vital, but they are not the ruler of your life, only you are. I think that women often feel like they are insulting or betraying the love they feel for their partner by not acquiescing to every demand (or imagined need) of their partner. But ultimately, deciding not to heed the request or counsel of a chief ministe…

Cue the articles about the mental health crisis in 10 years of the 43% of Millennials who can't make deep emotional connections with other human beings anymore. This feels like the relationship version of being pornsick: seeking a constant variety of shallow, exploitative sexual transactions until you can't emotionally "get it up" anymore for a real relationship.

An excellent point. What were men necessary for, traditionally speaking? Sperm and a paycheque. Welp, if a woman can make her own money and already has children, she's not forced to accept less than what she deserves. The "What does she bring to the table" comment is especially hilarious: that scrote needs to read over this woman's requirements again and ask himself, "which of these things the she expects in a partner is she not already bringing to the table?". Women are so conditioned to think …

There is a real 50/50 single dad in my family -- has the kids for the same amount of time as their mother, takes them to activities, pay the bills, keeps a comfortable home for them in the neighbourhood they grew up in... but he still fails. Why? Because if he had done his share of the domestic and emotional labour when he still was married instead of taken his wife for granted, she wouldn't have had to leave and the kids wouldn't need to move between houses every few days. Right here. As far as I know, when I gave him a second chance, he was true to it and never did it again. But you know what? I never felt quite the same about him after that. A crack started that day and spread really quietly, and I eventually I felt like something was irretrievably broken, so I left. A second-chance relationship is a relationship on death row. You're just killing time.

This was not a terrible thing for you to do, OP. I don't know what your living situation was (your personal residence or whether you were renting from a landlord) but it sounds like your roommate was not part of a formal lease agreement and was therefore literally trespassing by refusing to vacate the premises. That means you had the right to call the police to remove her and instead you created a situation that allowed her to save face and preserve the relationship -- the fact that she refused …

It's funny --LVM know exactly how much they lie to women, but it never occurs to them that so-called Chads are also lying to them. No, not even the richest, best looking men get sex whenever, wherever and with whomever they want. Pure male fantasy. LVM don't realize how much they're being made to look like fools believing and striving for this nonsense. Surveys consistently show that married couples have the most sex. I won't speculate on the quality of that sex, but ONS with a hot, self-absorbe…

It sounds as though your friend has a lot of pent up frustration from unmet needs in her previous relationship and is trying to meet them all as quickly as possible with a new partner. She may feel as though she needs to "justify" to herself why she ended her old relationship now (instead of years earlier) by having an intense new relationship: by distracting herself with "WOW THIS IS TRUE LOVE THAT MAKES EVERYTHING I ENDURED WORTH IT!!1!!11" she doesn't have to admit to herself that she wasted …

It sounds like he experienced limerence in his previous relationship and has confused this with love. Reminds me of a conversation I had with my NVX where he told me he didn't ever want me to wear a particular piece of lingerie that I loved because I had worn it with an ex. We also need to take into account our social surroundings. Even in a typical "serious" business-type setting, what do we see when we look around? How many of the men are showing off their legs in short pants (like women are wearing skirts)? How many men are wearing tight shirts (nice pecs, Jeremy!), and clothing that plunges in places designed to reveal the size of their most desirable sexual characteristics (half-opened flys for men so we can admire that bulge, ladies!). Why aren't the men wear…

While it's true that certain genetic traits can contribute to HV or LV behaviour, LV tendencies can be compensated for by positive cultural traits (i.e. addictive tendencies balanced by learned compassion and self-awareness). And the spate of good-looking, fit, high-career-performing scrotes is all the evidence we need that good genetics paired with bad upbringing = LVM. IMO, nurture beats nature in producing HV adults. Ha, yes, you are certainly right :) When I raid, I'm in game for 3-4 hours at a time, and then I also take a few hours during the week to prepare ingame for raid nights. It's a hobby, like many others, that can take up a significant amount of time depending on how you play. I don't personally have a problem with a partner having a couple of evenings a week to do his own thing while I do mine (but since we were in the same guild, we were always doing it together anyway).

These are all great tips! There are good men playing these games, and gaming can be a great couples/family bonding activity. In my experience, men who play ongoing games that depend on social cooperation (like MMORPGs) are a better bet than single-player games. There are consequences to bad behaviour in pro-social games where membership in guilds/clans are necessary to fully enjoy the content. Men with bad attitudes tend to get weeded out of guilds over time because they are costly to the group.

I have also been in this position -- being in an on-again-off-again relationship with someone I had to work with and couldn't avoid. When I was alone, it was easy to remember all of the shitty things he said and did that made me feel terrible and regret ever having met him. If you purchased them to "better your appearance", then the question you should ask is "better for whom?". If it's not better for you, then return them and spend your hard-earned money on things that make you happy instead. A couple of thoughts come to mind. We often befriend people we interact with on a regular basis that life randomly puts in our lives -- neighbours, coworkers etc. University is a place that's conducive to meeting a lot of new people at once. The definition of "friend", and the size of the group labelled "friend" may be a lot larger at this stage than later in life. No debate about it, it's right in the standard language of addiction in description of how an addict uses their "substance": An alcoholic abuses alcohol A sex addict abuses women An addict cannot control themselves properly around their drug of choice, that is what makes them an addict. Doing something alone in private, or with friends, doesn't mean that the behaviour is divorced from its public harms. I could list list a lot of oppressive sexual behaviour that we would all recognize as artefacts of a patriarchal culture, but which individual or couples practise in a private setting where they feel it is acceptable. What a powerful thought experiment, to take yourself and your own doubts and allowances out of the picture and consider how the relationship would look to a third party. Such a beautifully written piece. Many marriages devolve into a series of exchanges of goods and services, usually grossly imbalanced. Even more start out this way. If more women sat down to write lists of things their partners do for them and vice versa, the truth would be too difficult to ignore. Women's ignorance is men's bliss.

This is very true, and when fathers are the abusive parent, the mothers are blamed for not protecting their children from him. They are blamed for staying in the relationship in order to be always present to deflect the abuse away from the kids even if it means making herself the target. They are blamed for leaving the relationship because it means they are no longer able to protect the children when they are in their abusive father's custody, because negligent or intentionally ignorant courts i…

Honestly, tho, I have had the same thought process before -- why not just leave them unblocked as if you completely forgot about their existence, wouldn't that be the best approach to tell them they mean nothing? But no. Leaving them unblocked means that they have access to your status/availability, your connections, your content/posts and to harass you if the…

I also lost all of the weight I gained and then some within a few months of giving birth -- because I was so physically ill from sleep deprivation I had no appetite and it was all I could do to consume enough food to nurse my child. But I looked amazing in a bikini! One of the classic signs of physical or mental illness that physicians look at is "rapid weight loss". How many women who have "bounced" back are actually suffering from debilitating post-partum depression I wonder?

Another little-discussed issue is the impact of chronic sleep deprivation during the later stages of pregnancy and for months after birth. We've all seen the articles about how the average person is not getting enough sleep because of excessive home and work responsibilities, so imagine the mental and physical load of waking up every few hours to breastfeed around the clock has an a mother of newborn (which of course, only women can do). And consider those unlucky few of us who has babies that r…

My abusive, alcoholic father married my 9-years-younger mother when she was 18 and he was 27 because he knocked her up (no one gets married in a Mediterranean country in the dead of winter on purpose). The shitshow that proceeded was as predictable as can be imagined. It definitely normalized these relationships for me growing up (I never considered it odd at the time), but interestingly, I've never actually been in a relationship with anyone older than myself. Motherhood is an extremely taxing exercise, 24/7/365. Mothers of young children have so many other things to focus on/worry about that their unhappiness with their LVH is not at the top of their priority list. Add to this the impediment of financial dependence on a husband because you partly/fully gave up your income to care for the children. It can be easier to just postpone divorcing a husband with whom you can no longer bear to have sex, or even spend time alone, anymore. Many of these women …

This is a "getting to know you" time where he should be trying to impress you. If he won't talk about his work, it's because he knows it won't impress you, or even something worse (no job, sketchy job). Even with a job that requires confidentiality, he should be able to tell you something about it or how he feels about it. An ongoing friendship that unduly burdens you with emotional labour is a different kind of situation, and you are right to block if it's affecting your well-being.

I wonder how stupid these men think their wives are. I've also worked an office job, Jeremy, and I know you spend half the day fucking around at your buddy's cubicle talking about some QB's ACL or the latest Michael Bay POS movie coming out. The vast, VAST majority of men are not out working in the fields from sun up to sundown, so the claim that a SAHM is just "sitting around the house" and therefore her time and effort is worth less than a man's is laughable. Don't date men who feel that they are "behind in life". My NVX was like this. He made personal, relationship, employment and financial choices that slowed his progression through normal adult life stages. I made the mistake of interpreting these are "bad luck" or "following a dream", but really they were the result of short-sightedness, impulsivity and the inability to plan and make goals for the future. Men like this start looking at everything and everyone as a "shortcut" to get ahead. It is a…

This woman wants out desperately and feels utterly trapped. Why does she feel like she can't leave when that's what she clearly wants more than anything else? Oh idk, maybe because she has no job, income and little kids to take care of. This is why we do not rely on a man's money and stop working after having children. They call SAH wives "dependents" for a reason.

Serious question here for any ladies who are involved in emergency response: This an acceptable use of 911, is it not? Like take out your phone, dial 911 and say "Hello, I'm reporting a man who's harassing me". We fear these interactions because we know there can be physical consequences. I don't consider this a frivolous use of the resource.

If his actions and his words aren't matching (what he says he wants and what he actually does about it), then he doesn't know what he wants. Are you ok with dating someone who doesn't know what he wants and waiting on him to make up his mind? Only you can answer that.

Weekends are 50/50. Holidays are 50/50. I believe in 50/50 in marriage. But I mean a REAL 50/50 partnership, not this BS "man works 8 hours, comes home and relaxes while his wife works 24/7". It's important not to give yourself over to a man you don't know well, of course, but after 2 months, he will have made his intentions to get closer clear if that was his goal. The fact that they pull away when you are trying to get closer is the red flag. That they are happy with the emotional distance after this amount of time tells you exactly what they want. It's not you, it's them. As soon as they start pulling away, you know what they are really after. Cut your losses at this point. You ar…

If I'm being completely honest, I've had moments like this, to my shame. It's not only men who are socialized to not take women seriously or respect their contributions. I'm hoping it's because I'm older than most of the ladies here, and that younger women do not experience this. The more female-focused I've become, the more I am consciously unlearning these assumptions.

Personally, I have found that wearing a mask indoors and outdoors has been a wonderful relief from the feminized social pressure of smiling and being friendly to strangers. It's reset my behaviour and once the masks are off, I plan to continue to be neutral in public. OP's example is a great way to walk the line between the standards of "polite" and "rude" forced on women -- if you never catch their eye, you don't need to respond at all.

Don't tell a date anything about your finances, family or sexual history. All of these are things are potentially "sensitive topics" that can put you in a vulnerable position with manipulating LVM. It's not relevant to dating at all, and only once you're in a position where money is truly relevant to your committed relationship, like preparing a prenup or moving in together prior to marriage, should you discuss it.

I can totally understand where you are coming from based on your perspective, but I agree with other posters critiquing a narrow perspective. Being a single mother, and completely responsible for raising your child while you have custody (either partial or fulltime) can only amplify an existing mothering style. I've often wondered, how is it possible that men are so stupid and careless as to have sex with young-looking women without demanding proof of age, and consistently use birth control? Do they not understand the kind of disaster they are courting? Every single act of sex is a potential pregnancy. How is an adult human so incredibly moronic? What women call "love" is actually respect. But the patriarchy doesn't understand respecting the opposite sex, they only understand "duty", so, they invented a concept of romantic love for women to model that suited them better (undying devotion and dutiful obedience). Scrotes would love to perpetuate the idea that FDS is the female equivalent of a parasitic manchild living off cheeto dust in his mother's basement. The fact is that a Peggy Bundy "lazy housewife/goldigger" is a boogyman invented by men to project their own laziness on us. FDS advocates for women building themselves up regardless of their personal and family situation so you can take care of yourself and your children first.

women need to stop thinking of gifts as surrogates for a real emotional and mental connection. This is spot on. A gift can be thoughtful, but it can also be an obligation or a "down payment" in the mind of the giver. Until you have a real connection with a man, you cannot divine what he meant by it. OP, your intuition told you that gift-giving was not warranted at this time and his mindset said something different. But his mindset is not the "correct" one that you now have to match. Mean adjective, offensive, selfish, or unaccommodating; nasty; malicious: a mean remark; He gets mean when he doesn't get his way. small-minded or ignoble: mean motives. penurious, stingy, or miserly: a person who is mean about money. inferior in grade, quality, or character: no mean reward. low in status, rank, or dignity: mean servitors. of little importance or consequence: mean little details.

This exactly!! A man is praised if he's "willing" to hire "help for his wife" but if he's paying for it with THEIR money, she's paying for it anyway. We have been taught to hate and mistrust even our own bodies. Great informative video, thank you for posting!

Great advice. This has happened to me too and you -- as the logical sex -- assume that he understands that his behaviour was unacceptable and to never repeat it. but guess what happens once they get a couple of drinks in them. It's almost like they have to "double down" on it to prove something to themselves. They also feel like they've already "broken the seal" with you and since there were no serious repercussions, they feel safe to do it again. You should consider now how you're going to resp…

This is exactly right. This man hands out his number to everyone who he think he has even the most remote chance to pump and dump, just like the guy who messages every girl he knows "u up?" when he's trying to get laid at 1am on a sunday morning. It takes no actual effort, consideration, intention or courage because he knows that women are conditioned to accept the number politely even if we have no interest in him. This is such a great insight: people appreciate the things THEY build more than what others build for them. Hence the Barb-the-builder women sticking by trash men they've built/raised up (while the men don't appreciate the effort at all and "trade up"). Women need to let men build them up if they want men to appreciate them. Let him help support you in your interests and goals so he feels invested (just not to a point where you become dependent on his support and trapped in the relationship).

Agree that women are brainwashed to take up as little space/resources as possible and we need to break out of this mentality that everyone we love except ourselves is deserving of nice things. I fully acknowledge that you do not support porn for the many, many other reasons why porn is bad for individual women and women as a class. I apologize if I'm making it sound like I'm accusing you of supporting porn when you clearly do not. Perhaps I'm not explaining my thinking well enough. I'm going to try again, and I don't intend this to be directed at you. You have the same right as anyone else to have an opinion on what is cheating and what is not. Perhaps it's the phrasing of "sharing hi…

I agree to disagree. Sharing yourself sexually with anyone outside your relationship is cheating, whether it means having physical sexual contact with another person, masturbating in the presence of another person, video/phone/sexting or even masturbating to pre-recorded videos or pictures of another person. It's all on a continuum. The fact that they are masturbating to this material means that they are sexually engaging with another person outside of the relationship. The type of stimulation i…

I do see that you did not approve of watching porn. My response was in reference to the belief that viewing porn is not, in itself, cheating. But if we get into the analysis of why it is not OK to use porn in a relationship, using other examples to see it from a different perspective, we can see that the underlying reason is because it's unfaithful to the relationship. This makes it de facto cheating.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/11/21 12:09 AM

I could agree with this sentiment about cheating in theory, except that's not how the men themselves see it. Take the example given by another poster: if a woman were to post videos of herself nude and masturbating online, would her partner have a problem with this. I'm sure you realize, like I do, that the vast majority of men would have a problem with this. So then you ask yourself: why? Brilliant response! Although I greatly enjoyed OP's post, reproductive value is hardly the only resource that women bring to the table over and above what the typical modern man can provide. "Am I growing around you like I do when I'm alone" I'm always amazed by how much free time I have to explore interests and hobbies when I'm single. Relationships with LVM drain women of free time in a way that other relationships do not: looking up "fun activities" to do together, researching the perfect birthday gift (not just for him, but for his mother as well), analyzing the look on his face or tone of his voice in response to everything you say/do. This man sounds like he's laying the groundwork for making the "I tried everything" argument before looking going outside the marriage (with or without his wife's knowledge). He's preparing his defense. First it's the dead bedroom (without self-examination or recognition of what factors in the family life contributed to this). As both a medical professional and a woman who stayed at home with her child and breastfed AND pumped around the clock and still had milk supply issues, you should know that you are in a very small minority of women if you have been successful restarting lactation after any significant break. Once this is done, and you move in, you must not put any money into an asset that you do not own. I agree with you in theory, but FDS rejects a lot of libfem ideas about how we should behave presuming an idealized world where women aren't at a systemic disadvantage in dating (AND work, AND in personal relationships, etc) compared to men. I also believed at one point that I just "got along better with men". I've come to realize that what I really meant by this was that in social settings with acquaintances/shallow friendships, I WAS more comfortable with men because I'm on the socially-inept side and men don't normally expect me to have that kind of nuance and skill. I was also accepting of some pretty scrotey behaviour (causal cruelty, hostility to anything remotely "threatening"). However, when it came to REAL friendships with …

You hit it right on. Women are fungible to LVM. Fungible: able to replace or be replaced by another identical item; mutually interchangeable. LVM see us this way because we are mere objects to them and not human beings.

This reminds me of a minor kerfuffle at my child's school. I was trying to order some spirit wear (athletic wear with the school's name on it) and there were two options: a Minecraft-inspired theme that said "Achieve Greatness" and a flowery theme that said "Be the Good you want to see in the world" (with the words "Be" and "Good" much larger and brighter). I liked both messages, but when I went to order, the only colours available for the Minecraft sweaters were black, green and blue, and the o…

I'm so sick of tradmen and their BS "bootstraps" narrative, yet all they do when given half a chance is to cry and whine about how much harder they have it than women. They're still wallowing in their childhood emotional filth while women have grown up, cleaned themselves off and moved on with their lives. "But women have it easy because they have each other!" A women's capacity to bear children is an ASSET, just like a house or a savings account in your name only. Protect your asset!! If he pushes and doesn't respect your boundary, you know the drill: red flag, block and delete. Any guy who would push you to do something you didn't feel ready for is not a HVM after all.

they NEED the validation of women because deep down they're aware of how meaningless and shallow men's validation is That is such a powerful insight. Men behave as though their bros' opinions are so important to their self-esteem, but in the end, they need our validation so badly that they literally DIE WITHOUT IT. Male opinion is abundant and of low value

Beautiful sentiment, thank you for reposting. The most liberating thing you can ever say in a sexual context is "No" when refusing to do something you don't want to do. Think back to all the times where you went against that feeling in the pit of stomach telling you that you didn't want this, that it was something that would haunt you later and you KNEW, but you succumbed to the pressure of the moment -- not wanting to disappoint your partner, not wanting to be seen as a "prude" or "inexperience…

I also enjoy dark humour (depending on the context), but the source it comes from is important. Mentally healthy individuals can make these jokes, but vet carefully for men who use this humour with any frequency. It can be a sign of narcissism and used to "pass off" disordered thinking while being able to cloak it as "just a joke, relax!" while testing your boundaries for acceptance of mistreatment. You make some very good points. However, I did not say that the expense of the ring is the sole factor in how I would determine value. Hearty agreement with you. A husband who doesn't notice that something bothers or is burdening his wife and moves quickly to correct it is going to be the same father that doesn't notice a child's streak of tears or telltale signs that they are being bullied or are having difficulty with a teacher. If he doesn't care enough to notice the emotional state of the people he is supposed to care about the most and feels moved to do something about it, he will not be a good husband or father.

Wording the questions in a more open fashion (instead of Yes/No) would give you greater insight and make it harder for outright lies to get thru. A LVM could deduce from your Yes/No question about porn that you feel negatively about it (why bother asking otherwise?) and lie. When it comes to a presidential candidate, it's pretty black and white: you're voting for one philosophy or the other.
