Exactly. The ones who don't care won't care and the ones who do will swipe left, all sorted. But I never heard of a 25 yr old woman who thinks 32 is too old 😂

You're thinking about this all wrong- the compliment is less important than the subcommunication behind it. One of my most well-received ones ever was, "excuse me, I just had to say that I think you look really nice". She went all gooey "I think you look really nice too." 2 hours later we were doing it at her place. Pretty lame opener, am I right? I'm fairly sure I could've said pretty much anything with the same result. It was about my frame (I was relaxed but cheeky and horny) and her time of …

Depends on the woman and also your categories don't exist in the reductionist way you've presented it. The main problem is your framing of the question, not the answer.

It really depends on the woman. If she likes you a lot, she'll like it, but if you're more invested than she is with you, don't say it. Mark Manson outlined this very well in Models and it stands up.

You don't get to say "sucked in" because that implies you were the victim of the sucking when you were actually a participant

Just say your friend went home. I said this to my now girlfriend who knows that I lied. But I said to her "if I'd said that I was there alone it probably wouldn't have gone anywhere" and she agreed. So my advice - lie. It's not a big lie it's like: How are you? Fine thanks. Now on with the conversation

"How do I make her feel..." You can't. You're in the friend zone. Either accept that you're friends or move on.

When people say "We really vibed in person, but they didn't reply to my text" that means you didn't really vibe all that much. The text is a litmus test. If you vibed in person, they will reply enthusiastically over text. Concentrate on the interaction. Texting is a side issue.

Yes you're trying to use outer game to solve inner game issues. For that you need therapy because this "unworthy" narrative you've got bouncing around your head needs picking apart and no doubt comes from a long time ago. Keep at all your external stuff for sure, but get Therapy!

Yes. Do it. I mean, literally, it's that simple. You're just afraid of failing because you've not done it before. You're afraid because it's new and change is scary. Get ready to fail. A lot. And that's great - that's how you learn. But really there's one piece of advice from which all other smaller practical things flow: Do it.

Alrighty, and is your current approach of self-pity working to change that? I didn't have a romantic encounter till I was 20, which is younger than you, but way older than your cousin. Does that make me a failure too? At the moment you choose to label everything as failure. It's your mindset you need to change first. You definitely need therapy

"Sometimes I can be amazing with women." There we go then! I think I see the problem. When you fail with women you interpret that as you being a failure. Failing with women doesn't make you a failure. It's actually the exact opposite. Missing shots at basketball doesn't make you a failure at basketball, it makes you a success. The only failure is to stop shooting. Each miss improves your game, and so it is with women. Years ago I got this point, and suddenly I stopped taking rejections personall…

Another positive thing, you're young, which is a great gift. Make therapy your absolute priority. Obviously your parents / family / school / early life has fucked you up, which it does for a lot, if not most people. I didn't even start therapy until I was 35, I wish I had started sooner. If you make it your priority your 30 year old self will thank you, and believe me, there's no finer time to be a guy than 30!

That's why you need a therapist. This self hatred is a story that you've put in your head in response to some past trauma. You're not born with it, it's not your destiny and it's not who you are, it's just a coping mechanism which has now become your identity. For now just change one thing: "I hate myself." "I'm a loser." I can instantly disprove those. You don't hate yourself, otherwise you wouldn't be here seeking help. Part of you hates yourself and it's not "you". And a true loser wouldn't h…

Your problems boil down to one thing, essentially - identity. You now have the identity of a hopeless loser. All your actions are to back that up, to prove that you are, which gives you a reason to think that you are. And so the cycle continues. There are a million ways to get out of it, but ultimately you have to find that for yourself. It could be learning something new, it could be the million other YouTube videos people have put up, all of which have good advice in some form or another. I go…

You say 32 is old. I say it isn't. We can't both be right. The answer? It's about perspective and perception. 32 is only old if you say it is. And you're only a loser if you say you are. You're stuck in a loop of learned helplessness (google it).

Jesus you are riddled with toxic masculinity! There's so much to unpack here it's hard to know where to begin! Your needy behavior is the result of not having boundaries and not valuing yourself. Start with boundaries (this means being open with what you want and maintaining your limits). Showing emotion and connecting emotionally is NOT needy, but sacrificing your own boundaries and taking on the emotional labour is! There's a lot to say but start by researching boundaries (you have the interne…

Damaged people attract damaged people. I guarantee no one you describe here will have anything like a healthy relationship but a deeply codependant one. And just because someone is ex military with a stable job, it doesn't mean they're not damaged too. Don't take advice about fishing from fish. Every girl wants a guy who boldly makes physical contact without asking. But they don't want a creep. To not be creepy you have to make a connection, with the eyes is best, so she can see you're alright and you can see she's alright. And be switched on to her signals, which you can't be if you're in your head. In my experience the more boldly you lead and move girls the more they like it.

The act of doing things is what builds confidence, and in itself it is confidence. In relation to women, once I learned to say "fuck it", silence the mind and just jump in, "confidence" came very quickly (I.e. What people perceive as confidence) Yes, you may have to go through failure, embarrassment and all the rest of it, but that's what success is. And all that is fun anyway, once you let go of the outcome, climb the metaphorical rock and jump into the cold water. In your case you're looking f…

Your premise is that women like indifferent guys is false. Some women do, some women don't. If you're the kind of guy who wants to show interest then that's what you should do. You filter out the women who want to be indifferent and attract the women who want you to show interest. You'll be happier with the women who want you to show interest because that's what you want too. Long story short: the only truly unattractive thing is sacrificing your wants and needs for a random stranger with tits.

The most important thing I ever learned, many years ago. Confidence is an action, not a character trait. You act with confidence, you don't have it. In your case this means talking to girls and dealing with, and learning from, the outcome.

OK, 2 approaches here. The practical stuff already suggested by others. Healthy diet, exercise, get new clothes to feel better on the outside, hair cut, groom, etc. try new things, get a hobby you really care about. Creative things you care about too (if you're at the point where you don't care about anything, just pretend to) This seems insignificant but it slowly adds up. The other branch. And this next bit I can't state strongly enough (just to counteract the other advice on this thread). You…

If you are socially introverted don't go direct... Yet! Step by step. If you can talk to guys, you can talk to girls. Just do exactly the same as you do with guys and ignore the fact that they're girls... For now Once you're comfortable talking to girls the same way you do with guys, then you can introduce a sexual element, but don't do this until you're comfortable with step 1, which will probably take a hundred or so approaches. Good luck!

Finding love is like trying to score a hoop from the other end of the court. Take 1000000 shots. On the other hand, if you want a shortcut to love, you're going to need to find someone with similar values to you. That's where groups come in. In the old days this was hard, but now we have the Internet, and with only a tiny bit of effort you can find groups of people who have similar values and likely a suitable guy for you. Getting young women is fun. You probably can't have a 20 y/o girlfriend, it's not impossible, just reeeeally unlikely, because you're at different stages of your life, different values, different goals etc. You can get a stream of short-term 20 year old girlfriends, but... I wouldn't look for fulfilling relationships in that age bracket! The bigger question is why DO you want a 20y/o girlfriend?
/r/seduction31/08/21 07:28 PM

All you need is time and failure, and a willingness to keep going. The rest takes care of itself

"be yourself" IS the best advice. But you have to be unapologetically, unconditionally unreservedly yourself, and that kind of person won't be on an Internet forum!

I have one rule for this stuff: Learn to get out of your own way.

Pretty much anywhere, if you want hookups. Also, you don't need to drink too go to bars. If you want something more than a hookup, go somewhere you're likely to find women you like - mutual interests etc.

That's what I'm saying, you're the one with the toxic mindset here - you rate yourself below 5/10... Why?

Someone else said "chill out about sex". That's very good advice, seems like you have too much emphasis and importance on it. Also, the lies of women are not your concern - that's their concern. Your concern is communicating clearly what you want and not allowing your boundaries to be violated. You only get lying women in your life when you invite them!

There's a lot of improvement! I can tell by how much you're investing your identity into this chick, or specifically this chick's approval. Be proud of yourself, make yourself proud, you'll thank yourself later!

Of course, because the players wrap up their identity and self worth in seduction. Don't be that guy, it's miserable. Want and need is the difference between a passion and an addiction. If you need the validation of these women, like a player, then you're addicted, if you are passionate about it, but it doesn't define you, that's more healthy. It's like a nice chocolate bar, I would love to have one, but if I don't get one it's not going to make me question who I am!

Your neediness comes from your lack of honesty about what you want. It means you're seeking validation from sex.

Simple, and you identified it yourself, you don't pursue and express what you want sexually. It shows a lack of self worth, lack of confidence, lack of vulnerability and makes you untrustworthy. The answer? Boldly and openly pursue what you want sexually. Disclaimer: note, I said what what WANT, not what you NEED. If you need sex for your self worth that'll come across too! The important thing is, you're only 20, stop over thinking it - go for what you want and accept that you will make painful …

You're seeking validation and self worth from her because you don't value and respect yourself. I speak from experience as a recovering validation sucker from women. The answer is to invest in yourself, build a life you're proud of and get your validation that way. By putting your identity into the approval of her you'll push her away and every other woman for that matter.

This is easy. You keep going till you find a girl you like who DOES want to see you again. Simples. Better still, set your boundaries right at the top : "I'm not looking for a one night stand, and if you are, let's not date!"

OK, in that case, and I don't mean to sound patronising, don't worry about it, you'll learn! Honestly making a woman cum isn't the be all end all. It's how you make her feel that's important, and if you give the vibe of pressuring her into coming, that's a turn off right there

Simple. Flirting feels good and they get validation from it. Men do it too. Just men are more likely to sleep with a woman because of it. Also, some women don't do this. This isn't on women, this is just people!

This is so true. 95% of this stuff is getting out of our own way, I.e. Letting go of the beliefs we have about ourselves, I.e. Letting go of our stories. This is fundamentally important. Techniques and lines are not. Being anything other than who you are in an interaction will lead to horribly shallow and ultimately damaging interactions (for you!). Having said all that, perhaps it's a rite of passage to go through the techniques, the lines and routines, I'm not sure! A great post, words of gold…

I say go all-in (I mean ALL IN) with your obsession girl. Either: 1. You both fall madly in love and have a nice / terrible time. 2. You fall madly in love and someone breaks someone's heart. 3. You realise she's not all that and move on. I'm a couple of years you'll get your wish that the 19 y/o is a couple of years older anyway and you can go back to her. All this "she's hot, she can cook but she's etc" is just mind wank to rationalise your feelings. From what you've written it sounds like you…

People stop bad mouthing OP! It's all part of a process. OP, enjoy your happiness from validation. It won't last forever but it's a stage. After you've enjoyed a while of validation you'll feel down again. Then you'll start another journey to internal validation. All part of the process, so enjoy it!

This post is far too generalised and oversimplified. If you want to get the crux of it without the dodgy bits read Mark Mansons models (which this guy has clearly read so I don't know what's going on here!)

This is a great post with a lot of wisdom. Listen to it, youngsters. On the other hand, I think there's a lot to be said for just fucking a lot of women when you're young (even if it's for bad reasons), because once you've done every kind of girl every which way, you end up just wanting someone nice, you can get along with, respect and share affection with. All these "hot" girls become uninteresting if they can't offer you the other qualities! So the guys may have it all wrong, but it's all part…

If in doubt, move forward. Yes, really you should be able to feel it and read the signals, but men are terrible at this, even experienced ones. So I don't expect you, a 21 year old virgin, to have a clue. And that's fine, nothing wrong with being clueless. So push forward, assume it's on an act if it's going to happen. If it's something she doesn't want, she'll tell you. (if you push beyond that then obviously you're in the realm of sexual assault but you sound like a nice guy so I don't need to…

If you don't make a move soon you're in the friend zone. If you've been teasing and flirting with each other, go for it. If she's not ready, go for it later, if she's not ready, go for it later. If you've not been teasing and flirting, start. Ultimately, it's your job to make a move and the only wrong thing you can do is nothing.
