“Most men are not going to turn her down for sex.” How many men are having women throw themselves at them? When it comes to people and attraction, the bigger cope is to say anyone is objectively attractive. Attractive to a large group? Sure, but generalizations don’t get people anywhere. Dude above has a point. “Subjectivity is a cope” is just a level of smugness that tells me everything about your mindset.

The same exact question applies to women. It’s literally no different: needy people who enjoy validation from an attractive person online 😂

Except some dudes don’t like women with big boobs. So your generalization falls flat on its face. No such thing as “objectively hot” when some men found younger Giselle Bundchen very hot whereas some (like me) never found her even remotely attractive.

Duly noted. Most of the women who I kissed and took home were situations that I was already out on a date with her rather than meeting her that same night. My night game is non existent so good advice there.

Do you think it’s best to go for a kiss when you have a bit more privacy or alright to kiss her in the venue even if surrounded by a lot of people? I tend to kiss women when we are just on on one in my car or outside the venue away from people.

A very odd and fatalistic way of thinking. “hopefully your 20’s were cool because it’s over in your 30’s and 40’s” is what it sound like you’re saying here.

Dumb advice: imagine applying this logic after a string of bad jobs and telling someone “if you’ve never had better jobs, just deal with it and don’t try harder for more and better jobs.” Very fatalistic thinking.

I read through your longer response and I had to reflect a bit. You are right. My goal isn’t a relationship at this point but hookups and I need to emotionally invest or emotionally spike interest in my approaches more through longer approaches rather than my scattershot attempts. My apologies for the strong response on my part; there’s a lot of shaky advice in here and it’s hard to separate the good from the bad at times. Looking back, my best approaches have been more involved and have taken l…

Ok then, tough guy. I asked a pretty straightforward question and you had to go overboard like a fucking moron. I don’t expect to even fuck her that night so much as get the number in a reasonable amount of time and text her later. If you’re trying to imply that’s a bad approach, I get it, but getting emotional over a simple question is retarded. Plus when I fuck I place the woman’s sexual pleasure above mine because it leads to more and better sex down the road.

20 minutes per woman? That seems a bit excessive. Wouldn’t it make more sense to keep it a quick 5-10 minute conversation? 45 seconds is too little but 20 minutes is a decent chunk of time per approach.

I’ve seen this time and time again. I’m a shorter dude (5’6”) and I’m definitely overweight but when I’m socially attuned to my environment and the people around me, that brings up my dating value faster than trying to just use my looks; that’s the one major saving grace of being a man. Plus thankfully women love us for more than our looks, although looks can be a foot in the door.

Why is this fiction to you? Some military guys (mostly American) walk around like their shit doesn’t stink; I’m sure some women go for it but that shit is not seductive compared to a chill unbothered dude.

I like the bald head look not gonna lie. Throwing in the towel is a strong statement that doesn’t apply in my case. The side effect profile is widely known. Plus I’ll be on psych meds soon and I don’t need to be dabbling in hair loss meds to fuck up my endocrine system on top of that.

This is even more reason for ranked choice voting and third parties. We have 2 parties and eventually people compromise and do end up voting along party lines because it’s convenient or because it’s best to have one side win over the other. You can claim that it’s best to not paint with the wide brush but the reality is that people vote against the other party more often than they vote for their own party out of ideological agreement. At the end of the day, who you coalition with tells the broad…

Being honest and being an asshole are 2 very different things people have a hard time discerning. If you’re an “honest” asshole, then you’re just being mean to others to feel better about yourself. I’m talking about people who honestly say what they don’t like about someone versus ghosting, or leading on, or monkeybranching to orbiters (men or women) because you’re unhappy in your current relationship. Just because you lack courage in being honest with others doesn’t mean that most people do or …

True, because then you would have to rely on self reported data where people reliable admit to paying for everything as a way of controlling their partners. Not sure why you’re so hysterical over a difference in opinion lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/22 06:17 PM

You just amplified the experience most men have. If we live in a world where more women were honest like this, then we could all actually re-examine how functional or dysfunctional this all really is for dating.

Yeah the daughter’s bf is strange. Nothing wrong with paying for each other. Why do we work? For security and to survive? What’s wrong with sharing your resources (as a man AND woman) with someone you care about and appreciate? Your daughter’s boyfriend sounds controlling to me.

Rawdogging a one night stand? Ok lol. No judgement there; just seems very risky. I have done it once or twice that way. I think as a guy you always have to watch your back, because women’s ability to hook up casually is nearly limitless, while it may not be with her first choice, and she may be rawdogging all of them, too. Any doctor would tell you that’s way too risky, but would just encourage you to get tested.

True but also you need inner game to even get a woman on a date and then the balls to take her to bed. I had a fuckton of childhood trauma which created self limited beliefs mainly with women. This subreddit helped me overcome those limiting beliefs and to take more chances on dates. But at a certain point, you have to start blackpilling and doomscrolling and just meet people. I’ve only ever gotten laid off the apps though, so my goal is to meet more women in public now.

I think women just hear “I have a girlfriend” and think of you as being a more attractive man. It happened to me when I was one of only 2 male medical receptionists in a clinic full of gay men (patients) and women of all ages (both patients and staff). It was a very weird experience. My ex showed up one time to the job and one time during a work event; she wasn’t all that attractive compared to my co-workers either, but I loved her and didn’t give a fuck.

Go search on IG and ask local photographers about meetups. Tell them what you’re looking to do. I met a couple of gifted photographers that way and it helped me with online dating. Better than trying on Reddit when you can’t confirm who people are.

I’m a dude and I gotta agree with you on this. Casual sex is fun for sure, but more often than not, my sexual partners have complained about guys not making them cum or being lazy in bed. The best orgasms I’ve ever had were in a relationship with someone I cared about. Plus I’m not trying to go barrier free with just some random woman and risk my future sexual health.

You can convince me; I mean I have a friend who is 6’4” Indian and he definitely worked very hard to become more charismatic over the years. He’s now happily married after struggling in his college years. Admittedly I’m biased because I’ve been picked on or viewed as less of a man because of my height but I’m open to being wrong. I was just stating my own bias and/or failures with online dating with my shortcomings.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/22 09:57 AM

Really? I’m open to being wrong but you simply saying that doesn’t convince me. Personally, I’m more charismatic and able to win over a room in person than rely on social media/dating apps since they don’t account for social acumen at all.

I’m also attracted to chubby chicks and can confirm that the stereotype of them being easier to fuck works against guys who are more attracted to them. But I disagree with OP; she is either thin or chubby. I think that it’s odd to think of a girl as thin yet chubby. Which one is it lol?

Without knowing your age, height, and ethnic background, it’s hard to say why you are less keen on using clubs and bars as a way to meet women. Tall guys (white or otherwise) are absolutely killing it in on dating apps; no doubt about that. I’m 5’6”, Indian, and a little on the chubby side. I could stand to lose weight and I’m working on six pack abs to see if that differentiates me at all on the dating apps, but the above points still stand firm for most guys who are average or below average in…

I think for a lot of guys it’s pure jealousy. A comedian I like (Patrice O’Neal) said it best: “men are jealous of women’s ability to have many many more sexual partners than men, but they’re not often looking for that. They’re looking for the best partners they can get.” That comedian could definitely be sexist as fuck, but he made some good points that assuaged my sexual jealousy over the years.

I’m very sexual and I care more about my partner’s infidelities than her n count. I’ve noticed many women aren’t able to get off with their partners so when they get off with me it’s a huge ego boost lol.

I’ve had multiple women tell me via text that they thought our date wasn’t on because I didn’t text as much. I’ve seen it work as you said, too. It’s a fine line and it’s hard to know because I’ve seen it happen both ways. One girl (not very attractive) I texted 2 texts to her (got 2 back) to set up a date with no texts between; date was 5 days later. Do you currently date? Because 10-15 years ago you might have had a point. Texting was far more scarce than it is today; again I didn’t say anything about blowing up her phone; that’s an exaggeration. I’m saying sending something to keep the conversation going. I wouldn’t send memes or too many jokes because they can come across as needy or tryhard, but something of interest and relevance to her. It helps with flaking.

Wow finally someone who gets it. A lot of dense people here. My ex led me on like that for 5.5 years. That “fateful night” was just dancing with a stranger when she told me early on; I was dumb for allowing myself to be trickle-truthed for so many years but that’s also why I don’t do relationships anymore. The truth can be hidden in plain sight or obscured very easily by the cheater; they often don’t feel any guilt over it either.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/22 07:44 PM

Not necessarily true. This older lady started talking to me a laundromat about my abundance of purple shirts. I laughed and engaged the conversation further. Oh interesting; I kinda know what you mean. I’m pretty good in bed but prefer long term relationship. (I was in a long term relationship that lasted about 5.5 years) but casual sex fills the emotional and physical need for sex short-term. I’m with you on wanting something more than that, but it appears people prioritize casual, no-strings-attached sex nowadays over long term relationships.

I gotta say: sex with a woman you love is psychedelic as fuck. I lost my virginity to my first gf, and we went barrier-free early on. When I tell you we had some intense, other-worldly sex I’m not exaggerating. I’d be more likely to screen for a woman for a relationship because nothing beats barrier-free sex with someone you love and trust. There’s so many ways to vary things up to make it interesting like bondage, role playing, mutual masturbation, etc. Unfortunately, trusting another person in…

Considering how few men can make a woman orgasm, let alone multiple orgasm, my guess is that fewer enjoy casual sex than men overall. I assume if a woman has a ton of options, which many do, they could just hook up with different men until she can regularly hook up with a more skilled one.

This year was the first year I dated someone younger than me, and it was negligible in terms of my desire for them. I’m 29, and briefly dated a 28 year old; I liked her but the fact that she was a single mom was a longer term dealbreaker for me. I do miss her though. That sucks. Have you tried doing more foreplay or oral sex between changing positions? Mine curves quite a bit also and I’ve found that women tend to enjoy it the longer we keep having sex. I tend to last about 30-60 minutes so by the time they cum, it often hits their g-spot, especially during cowgirl.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/22 10:33 AM

Nah. Cowgirl all the way. One hand on her ass grabbing and slapping it, one hand pulling her hair, lips on top of each other kissing….and coooooom together!
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/22 10:09 AM

My favorite (especially with bigger women) is a tie between cowgirl and doggy. The bigger the booty, the better. 😉 For some reason, my ex preferred doggy when we first started dating but demanded missionary on the regular. I think it was the intimacy of it.

Oh yes. I like this guy. Aaron Doughty; he’s very spiritual and talks a lot about attachment theory. He talks a lot about his childhood trauma, so it’s easy to understand his point of view. He appears to be a trustworthy guy. I can say from experience a lot of what he says is true. I was a receptionist for a medical clinic at 23-24. I had a pretty toxic gf and I was easily 30-35% body fat, with a round face, nerdy glasses, and short (5’6”). Within a year, I had some of the hottest women in that …

I think the number of men wanting straight up virgins is far less than men who just want a woman who doesn’t see sex as a casual thing like eating junk food. Yes, junk food tastes great but it has an adverse impact on your health. Ask a therapist; there are categories of mood and personality disorders that correlate with hyper sexuality. So, at the end of it all, yes some amount of sexual activity is expected of both men and women, but a woman with far more partners than an average woman usually…

That relationship sucked, my dude. It turned me upside down emotionally but I learned a lot about how to please a woman. I was cheated on, so I want to explore being with different women so I don’t rely on any one of them in the future. I’ll settle down when I’m 40 lol. Trying to go back to grad school next year and make some serious money and have fun. But I hear you: when I tell women younger than me about how long that relationship was (I don’t mention the cheating) they often seem surprised,…
/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/22 08:53 PM
1

Fuck yeah. Look, man. I had some fine women after me during that relationship, asking me to club with them, throwing out all sorts of signs to hang out and get together with them. No way in hell I’m wasting my youth on a long term relationship with a woman who got around while I didn’t. 😆
/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/22 08:44 PM
1

Lol I’m trying to get there myself. I’m at 5 and trying to get 50. I was in a 5.5 year relationship, otherwise my number would be higher. What’s your number?

/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/22 08:13 PM

Any studies on this? A lot of the reported stuff seems like cooked numbers; what about men who inflate their numbers and women who deflate their own?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/22 08:07 PM

I think the women that think that already don’t need a man to defend them lol. I don’t expect my future partner to have no experience but to have slept around a ton is a huge turnoff considering I haven’t and considering I prefer long term relationships over flings.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/22 08:06 PM

Who’s to say that a low n-count woman wasn’t a freak in the sheet for the men she dated?

It depends, man. I have a friend who is 6’ but he looks taller with a smaller frame since he went into a cut and maintained leaner muscle through calisthenics and no weight lifting. He’s still incredibly vascular and is a former personal trainer. I think for shorter guys, lean muscle mass tends to work better; it makes us look taller but that’s just my bias and preference.
/r/seduction19/09/22 01:50 AM

I mean the woman I slept with was more chubby but that’s my type so I wasn’t bothered by that.

I hooked up with a black woman last year and she was probably my best lay. Very cool and laid back and the sex was sensual as hell. Very slept-on women, if you ask me.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/22 10:43 PM
1

Same height as you, man but I prefer bbw’s a new chubbier women. I could stand to lose about 30 lbs since I’m looking for a lean six pack ab look rather than a bulky look.
/r/seduction18/09/22 10:34 PM

Was there data on that? I’d wager a guess that it could be because of the stereotype that black women are “easier” than white women. Not sure because I haven’t seen anything like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/22 10:33 PM

Wow. I’m glad you mentioned how brutal it is for black women. Including Indian men, black women have it the hardest on dating apps.

From your posts I always gathered that you were like a six figure type of guy. Lol maybe it’s just the arrogant six figure dudes I’ve met that gave me that impression (not saying you’re arrogant; just that most dudes I know who are good with women also make boatloads of money).
/r/seduction18/09/22 12:15 AM

No it’s better to just do hookup after hookup; no attachment and no expectation of commitment. Basically the male hoe phase, but indefinitely.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/09/22 08:25 PM
1

I agree to an extent; they did help me to ultimately lose my virginity and start dating a small variety of women, but I’m finding, like a lot of men, that they’re not conducive to the dating life of an average man. I’m shorter than average and Indian, so that immediately closes out a subset of the population that might actually give me a shot if they met me in person or through social circles. I just find it harder to make friends in social circles since I graduated college.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/09/22 09:06 AM
3

That’s fair; a significant amount of time is pretty subjective from person to person but I think therapy and asking for help with work searches, for example, is necessary. I, for example, am struggling with sleep apnea and it impacts my ability to get sound sleep, so that’s been a mission of mine. It takes time to repair some issues.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/09/22 09:04 AM
2

True but it’s understandable why men and women are more jaded with the social media landscape and ease of access to sexual opportunities that exist online.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/09/22 08:16 AM

He’s got some points. I hear so many horror stories from my friends and the internet of loyal hardworking people get screwed over by someone when they’re not at their best, but when they’re on the top of the world, their SO loves them and women come out of the woodwork wanting a piece of the action. It’s pretty sad.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/09/22 08:10 AM

I think a combination of cold approach, dating apps, and being social with women works best. That way you’re flexing your social skills muscles every day and not getting rusty. Something I’ve been meaning to do a lot more of lately.

Ahh I like the way you broke this down. I agree that the hoop jumping is unnecessary and already puts you in the defensive to “show your worth” but a self secure man isn’t fixated on proving his worth to a woman who isn’t already at least attracted to him or open to the idea of receiving his advances.
/r/seduction17/09/22 01:23 AM
2

Ok cool.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/09/22 01:17 AM

How successful is that initial direct approach? I see a lot of people here recommend more indirect with a girl to avoid instant rejection and since you haven’t built any rapport with the girl.

Oh I see what you’re saying. Yeah that’s too much and is basically assault.

Wow. Not gonna lie, I was pretty turned on reading this. I’ll have to try this out. I love foreplay and kissing so this is a good way to transition and gauge a woman’s sexual interest in you too. Kissing is kind of my forte so I’ll try this out. Hope it doesn’t bother you, but I’d like to dm you for any info on how to create that sexual tension using your words. If she has it in her mouth, do you ask her to deepthroat you? Sincere question because I’ve had women deep throat me on their own and once I lightly pushed my dick further in her mouth; she gaged on it and liked it. There aren’t hard and fast rules on this like some women on here are saying there are.

I’ll give it a try. I’m open to what you’re saying but I think it’s worth it to think about the ways in which men are conditioned to be mind readers when it comes to casual sex too. That’s what leads to a lot of these situations where conversations that should be had haven’t been had because guys don’t want to risk the girl being turned off because you’re talking too much about the act and not escalating towards it. Men are pretty hesitant to take the advice of women seriously because women may …

Yeah I want to see something in your debate other than just “choking, bad, girl hurt, I don’t do it, me good.” It’s reductionist and insulting to men and women who enjoy it to call to call it abuse. You the analogized it to cutting yourself. Then you brought up abuse in porn. Then you bring up pegging. None of that is central to the main question: is choking/deep throating abuse? Which multiple, including me, stated no.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/22 11:31 PM
1

I don’t feel guilty at all lol. I’m not gonna white knight my sexual desires like you because you’re too afraid to sexually dominate women who enjoy sexual domination. 🤷‍♂️ and I’m not gonna call something consensual and fun “abuse” for internet brownie points.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/22 11:28 PM
3

Agree to disagree; you’ve switched the topic of the conversation a couple of times to try to make a point that you originally failed to substantiate. Many straight guys are not into pegging. Sorry, bud, but this isn’t the “gotcha” you think it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/22 11:26 PM

How common is pegging versus a girl being into choking on your dick? I’m not playing your game, man.

Here’s the difference between most men and most women, internet stranger: most men run the very real risk of missing out on a sexual connection more than most women do by talking about what they like in bed prior to having it, rather than slowly easing into it during the act itself. We’re not talking about repeat sexual encounters, but rather the first time you engage with someone sexually. I agree that men AND women should talk more openly about sex before engaging in it, because that’s the bes…

I don’t force my dates to gag. And you’re assuming that every woman who likes to gag on your dick likes being asked before doing it. Different strokes for different folks. If she’s not into it (she says no or says I don’t like that) I don’t push it. This idea of asking about what the other person likes works on paper and in theory, but many women immediately are turned off by the idea of a guy asking for permission for every little sexual act they engage in. Again consent can be gained during th…

Porn is sensationalized sex in a way; film and tv is sensationalized drama. My porn tastes are actually quite mild and I listen to the sounds/moans/body language of the women I fuck to know if they like what I’m doing or don’t; if they don’t, I stop. I don’t watch porn with clamps and where the girl is being humiliated; I actually prefer amateur porn. What ever point you were trying to make has failed.

If a woman likes to be gagged and spanked, that’s abuse? Man, y’all’s sex lives are vanilla as fuck. 😆 the women I have fucked have literally yelled at me to pull their hair, choke them, and spank them. But whatever, man. If it helps you to feel superior online, have at it.

Who the fuck said that? 😆
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/22 08:58 PM

I’d like to see some scientific peer reviewed studies on this otherwise this reads as high-minded bro science. We all have issues btw, especially with many women and men being sexually assaulted from a young age; redefining their sexuality within the parameters of healthy consensual sex is way different and healthier than just boiling their sexuality down to “they have issues, mannn.”
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/22 08:56 PM

I missed out on this way of living due to childhood and teenage PTSD and shame/guilt of social anxiety. Great reminder for me to hit up my local bar and play some pool tonight. Love the enthusiasm, OP. No doomer or blackpill shit here.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/22 08:52 PM

Bro, I’m Indian American, short, going bald, and have an average looking face. If I went black pill, I’d have no friends at all. But the good thing about America at least is that the people who dislike me based on those traits filter themselves out. If you’re a white guy complaining about this in America, you have a lot of self reflection you need to be doing. I say this out of respect, as you’re part of the dominant racial group in America. The doomer shit gets old fast with white dudes.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/22 08:45 PM

That’s a massive overreach my friend. You may not like it but pathologizing someone’s kinks is just weird white knight behavior. I don’t expect a girl to deepthroat my dick but it is fun when she’s into it. Doesn’t have to be a “she has issues” thing either.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/22 08:30 PM

There are women who are into this shit, my man. But nice pathologizing based on someone you don’t know or have never met, doctor. 😆 Have a look here; there are women who enjoy this too. https://www.reddit.com/r/sex/comments/76umct/men_can_you_please_explain_what_is_hot_about_the/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

I get it; I hook up with someone who is openly non monogamous but that’s it. Hooking up with people who are not openly non monogamous is another thing entirely (this is assuming her partner knows and approves of it). Personally, I wouldn’t marry someone in that type of arrangement, but I would fuck them.

I’d recommend finding a career that fits your passions in life. Before you say you have no passions, take the MBTI test and look at careers with your score enjoy. I’m ENFP which means I enjoy doing work in and around people. I’m a community focused person; so I started customer service jobs until I got a job in HR (I have a BA in Sociology). I’m now looking to go back to school for my MSW to become a mental health therapist. It’s a long journey but then again, time will pass anyways. Why not try…

That’s fair. I’ve been having multiple conversations on Reddit so I must have forgotten. I would encourage dudes to get out there just to meet people; you’re more likely to get laid that way than being a wallflower or simply depending on dating apps which are catered more to women anyways.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/22 10:54 PM

Greta analogy. Any recommendation on finding like minded men in your community? I don’t have many male friends at all, and those who I know are usually married or interested in serious relationships only.
/r/seduction15/09/22 10:16 PM

So just dating apps? That’s a very closed study, and doesn’t take into account the men out there getting laid from bars and clubs. Try again.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/22 10:13 PM

Yet there are women of every age group on dating apps looking to get laid. 😆. I’d like to see stats to back up your personal preferences and anecdotes.

It exists far more today than it did in the 1960’s; plus marriage and child bearing stats are dramatically lower in the west, where casual sex is far more common.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/22 09:24 PM

You’re assuming men’s options dramatically shrink with age which isn’t necessarily true. In fact, I hear more women over the age of 30 about men not committing than I do of men of the same cohort.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/22 09:21 PM
2

Well women can’t expect men to just wear themselves down to the demands of women’s biological clocks. Also, men dating a much younger woman is only as chastised as is today because women are lonelier than they have been in decades, so they try to shame good looking men with money for dating younger women out of pure jealousy. Pretty pathetic if you ask me.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/22 09:18 PM

Ok no worries, man. It’s well-documented how serious of a condition that is. And no self-respecting doctor is going to prescribe Valium for this condition. That’s like giving someone aspirin for a body pain, but doing nothing to address the source of the pain itself. Funny how I took a random guess on your sleep issue, and landed on that though. I hope you resolve your anxiety issues; that shit is very tough, coming from a guy who still struggles with the occasional anxiety or panic attack.

Do you watch a lot of porn? I found that cutting that from life entirely had a powerful impact on my ability to socialize with people. Still kicking it as it’s a hard beast to kick but may be the thing that leads you to reset your brain.

Machismo being attractive is hilarious; those dudes have a massive ego, like chest-thumping types. Masculinity and confidence is one thing, machismo is something else entirely.

That’s genuinely sweet of you but I think it’s more common that women see it as a burden.

In my experience, most people desire companionship even if they were badly hurt, so I agree to disagree on the idea of desiring to be single versus settling with the idea that you’ll be single for a long time.

When you say clubs are tricky, do you mean the dance style doesn’t work well in a club environment? Sorry for the million and 1 questions, but I like clubbing so I’m trying to learn how to be better at club dancing as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/22 08:42 PM

These were my exact thoughts down to the last sentence. Idk how any guy can claim that women don’t like a great dancer. But yes, overall my goal was to be cordial with the women in classes and pursue women in clubs or other social environments with my newfound skills. Very much appreciated, man. I love to dance but I have very little rhythm so I’m excited to learn more.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/22 07:50 PM

So you’re saying it does or doesn’t help? I can’t tell.

I wouldn’t bother listening to a woman’s opinion on this. They’re not socialized to initiate sex at all.

I’m trying to learn how to dance Latin-based better. I like clubbing and grinding is some high school/college level shit. I can do it, but anyone can get on the dance floor and grind.

Women don’t approach very often. Interesting opinion but imposing that unrealistic standard on men is odd. We approach who we like; if they like us back, we date. Pretty simple if you ask me. 🤷‍♂️

/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/22 07:51 PM

Lol where are they? From a different thread on here, they said they mostly stay at home or are surrounded by friends. I’d be more than down to meet a woman like that, but that’s doesn’t guarantee she won’t stray either out of a frustration of not having hoe’d around.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/22 07:40 PM
1

Understood. I see that these goals are fundamentally at odds with one another. There aren’t many quality women my age who want to settle down with me anyways so idk where you’re getting that idea from. I haven’t met a single one as of yet. Just seems like an idea you’re putting out there with very little validity to it. I could wait around and date more only to settle but this is part of the issue with hookup culture that ends up hurting men. A woman who sowed her oats (most women), a man who di…

One day, but not if I have to compromise my sexual values. I feel I’d only regret no having sown my oats and that she will have, considering I have a high sex drive.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/22 07:23 PM

Can this stay up though? My apologies; I have received some great feedback from people and I value the input of this community. Very diverse opinions here. I have no one in my life I can talk to about this.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/22 07:20 PM
2

Well those women who “would choose me,” are relationship oriented, and with less sexual partners aren’t magically materializing. So what’s your solution? Just be stuck with someone who fucked around all their youth and now wants to settle down with just 1 guy? What’s the likelihood of her being a faithful woman?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/22 07:16 PM
1

I’m 29; there are plenty of women my age who have been fucking since their early teens until now, with a long resume of men. If you are the type to engage in casual sex as a woman and then shame a man for doing the same, you are a hypocrite. If you aren’t the type to engage in casual sex and genuinely care with this comment, then my bad for assuming. But a lot of women in this forum had their hoe phase with little thought about it, but wonder why a man would do the same, which is messed up.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/22 07:14 PM

Did being open about that desire help you get laid more than leading them on? I know some women will still want something even if you make it clear as day for them.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/22 08:45 AM

I’m not ready to marry until I’m early 40’s; slim pickings for sure at that age, but rather that than financial ruin in my 30s. I’m trying to buy a house in my 30’s and I want to feel true financial security before that. Also, sleep around in other countries to see how that is.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/22 08:44 AM

A lot of food for thought here. My heart feels blackened like burnt chicken, man. I was holding it in for 2 years and I’m ready to just get out there and meet women. Dating apps have been not great but I have met all my hookups and ex from them, so it’s something. I lost my sexual innocence with my ex but I really want to just keep going and enjoy my mouth. I also agree that closer to 40 is more optimal of an age to marry for me. I’m short (5’6”) but I easily make friends when I put my charismat…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/22 08:22 AM

Ahh. Yeah, man. Monogamy has a bad track record in my family, too. My parents marriage, grandparents marriage on both sides, aunts and uncles is full of infidelity, spousal abuse, addiction, and general marital discord. The women were mostly decent people and put up with a lot but I can see that go in opposite direction very easily with modern marriage laws. I need a male therapist lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/22 08:09 AM

How old are you? No judgement just curious. I’ve heard men of all ages say this and I don’t entirely disagree.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/22 07:54 AM

That’s fair. I envision a more social life to fill that void of loneliness. I don’t think marrying in my early 40s is all that bad but the commenters are pretty confident that it’s the end all be all.

/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/22 07:31 AM

I totally get this logic but I’m tired of settling for women I’m not that attracted or having such an abysmal time dating women who are promiscuous who want to settle done with the “nice guy.” If a woman that I’m attracted to appears that also isn’t promiscuous with similar sexual compatibility, then yes, I’d ditch this endeavor entirely.

Learn how to dance bachata, be social in clubs, join a combat sport for fitness, and I’m going back to school for my masters. Keep in mind this is a multi year plan, hence, settling down at a later age(late 30s or early 40s). I have a number I’m trying to reach. It’s maybe my ego but I can’t say settling down with a woman I’m sexually jealous of is a great idea for my mental health either.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/22 07:14 AM
2

Yeah learning how to dance bachata soon. I like the nightlife too, so I’m not too worried about it long term. Just need to be more social and outgoing; still learning the culture out here in California. It’s different than the east coast and Midwest. Agree on the “nice Indian girls.” It’s like the “born again virgin” who joins church.

In your world, do people stop having casual sex at 30? I’ve hooked up with mostly women over 30. Plus I seem to be attracting more younger women; I just haven’t been very persistent about talking to them and dating them.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/22 07:09 AM

As opposed to settling with someone and being sexually jealous of their past? I ignored that in my last relationship and got cheated on lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/22 07:07 AM
2

Oh wow. Interesting. It’s a double edged sword, man. To be honest, I’m an educated guy and care deeply about forming bonds with people. My mom and aunt are hell bent on introducing me to some “nice Indian girls.” But I worry about the ability to form a bond with a woman if I haven’t fully lived out my wild days.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/22 07:04 AM

The band is called Triathalon lol; an indie band. I was pretty emotional on the way back; very evocative music.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/22 07:02 AM

True but also a lot of men experience the sexual humiliation of being undesirable for a long time. I was bullied by my father and my family for most of my childhood so I had very little self esteem. It’s not exactly easier being a man with that kind of past.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/22 07:01 AM
2

What do you mean? I have a number I want to sleep with in mind, but it’s because I know that I would be ok with a woman who’s been a little wild herself. Mind you, my preference is to find a girl who isn’t promiscuous but sexually compatible with me, which appears tough.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/22 07:00 AM

I gotcha. I appreciate the advice. Happy to clarify, but not sure where to start. I just came back from a concert and this is all stream of consciousness.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/22 06:58 AM

Interesting mix actually. My ex was half Korean/half white; hookups: 1 Latina, 1 black, 1 white, and 1 Jewish girl. I have a diverse preference in women. No Indian women if that’s what you’re asking. Not because I dislike them; just didn’t happen but almost came close with 2 Indian women this year.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/22 06:56 AM

I’m venting and seeing if there’s guys out there who can relate. Doesn’t sound like it lol. Yes I’d prefer relationships but I know the nagging feeling of her having much more experience than me will bother me. I ignored it at my own peril in my last relationship.

I had that charisma much more when I was younger (in college) but I appreciate this very candid advice. I need to show genuine interest in others as you’ve mentioned here. I actually want to be a therapist so this is great advice for me. Thanks!

I will say that being shorter has hurt my dating prospects online and I’ve changed around my profiles/pictures a handful of times, which led to mild success. I also think that you living in NY and being a taller dude is a major advantage. But I don’t hold the crabs in a bucket mentality many Indians do. Thankfully when I was dating m…

Oh no lol; my being there is strictly to make friends. I understand what you’re saying. I just find the thirsty dudes to be borderline pervy and lacking in social graces. I had a nice conversation with a handful of men and women there with no pretense. But the few dudes I didn’t engage with much had this odd energy to them like they were just there to meet women and I found that off-putting. I noticed something similar at the board game night and it felt quite strange so I bailed.

That’s true; I’ll be honest. I live in Sacramento, CA and I don’t fully understand people here. There’s a wide variety of people, and I can’t tell if my ethnic background is a hindrance in dating (I’m Indian American and not very tall). My game in person is absolute shit, and dating apps have been a disaster for me, too. I’m open to ideas but I lack charisma in dating. I can make friends pretty easily when it’s around mutual hobbies like playing pool at a bar, dancing (will be taking bachata soo…

Yeah but sadly a few of the meetup groups I’ve attended are dudes orbiting women in this pathetic way where it’s hard to even form platonic friendships with women there. I’ll just make my own meetup group for Tuesday movie night lol. It’s like $6 on Tuesday nights. We’ll see how well that goes.

I know what you mean. My body count is lower and I’ve lost interest in women as I was banging them. Like I know we wouldn’t go the distance. You also have to keep in mind that online dating is harder when you’re a shorter Indian dude. This isn’t just my thought; it’s objective reality. I’ve found that casual sex was fun and an ego boost but overall, the lack of options taught me that maybe what I’m after isn’t worthwhile and that I need a greater purpose. We’ll see long term. Yeah that does suck but that’s why you get a prenup so you don’t end up fucked completely by the legal system. And I’m doubtful that most of the dudes here who talk endlessly about hookups for the rest of their life actually end up doing that until they die. I had a grand uncle who did and never got married or had kids; I have considered it myself but I do think most people will find a person they love and marry them, even if getting cheated on is a a possibility. But again, I’d get a prenup to …

Yeah this is great advice. I’m a former actor and huge into film/tv. My goal is to get my degree and be a therapist for financial stability, and for fun, learn how to dance bachata and start a YouTube channel where I can discuss film with likeminded people. If I get lucky, build a film review channel akin to Jeremy Jahns and Chris Stuckmann, who do this work full time and have well over 1.5 million subscribers each. I appreciate the encouragement. Yeah I’m going back to school to become a therapist and that’s going to require a part time or full time job with a full school workload next year. While I will being working to have a life outside of that, idk how OP expects to quadruple his income when he spends a lot of time just dating random women. Seduction is about more than just sleeping with a bunch of people: believe or it not, seduction is necessary to keep the spark of a long term relationship going, which is what I desire. I care less about fucking dozens or hundreds of women. One quality woman I can build a life with is more than enough for me.

This thread is interesting. I’m 5’6”, Indian American (born and raised on the east coast, now living in Sacramento, CA) and a little overweight. I’ve dated women as a short as 4’11” and as tall as 5’8”, ages 24 to 35 (I’m 29). If I have as many handicaps against me on dating apps and I’m finding some semblance of success, you can too. Now I’m working on getting abs and dressing nicer, while upping my social media game on Instagram to attract new friends and lovers.

Oh yeah I agree. I’m not in great shape (BMI 27 and height 5’6”) but I’ve dated women as short as 4’11” and as tall as 5’8”. I was just curious about OP because this post felt very black pilled. Currently working on my weight as I know that affects my confidence.

Part of the issue is that American clubs are just kind of crappy. They’re like adult daycare with petulant women and aggressive douches; I relate to OP but also I like to dance so those clubs aren’t bad for just straight up dancing and probably taking a woman home. But if you’re trying to have a conversation it’s not going to happen at a trashy club. Music is way too loud and women and men are obnoxiously drunk.

Idk how being bald as a man is that big of a deal. Some men really have put a bald head as some sort of inherent issue to always be avoided otherwise ALL women will lose attraction. I’m bald and I shave my head rather than what I see daily: men with balding hair patterns that look abysmal and age them even more. No accent at all (ok slight east coast accent). I’m on the chubbier side and admittedly shaved head. I’m a handsome guy for sure no doubt about it (no ego either). I struggle with cold approach because I don’t know how to steer the conversation towards flirting and getting a number. I have …

I’m not gonna send some random woman’s body images to a stranger. Jump onto a dating app and tried to get laid. That’s all I did lmfao. Maybe lower your standards, you creep.

It’s the fact that people are far more likely to want to belong to a niche group, so they can talk about their chosen “pill.” But yeah agreed with older millennials and Gen X seeing hookups as a rite of passage until you “get it out of your system” and settle down.

Yes I’m literal with my thinking, mom. Try it sometime. 😉 Why would I date a woman I’m not already attracted to? There you go changing the goalposts from your original question. I already said I prefer bigger girls.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/22 08:07 PM

Up to a certain age and/or assuming you don’t want to ever settle down. Some men, especially after their mid 20’s, want to settle down more.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/22 05:38 PM

You’re assuming that’s all they’re after (casual sex). You may just be a means to an end for now, until they want something more permanent or longer lasting.

Listen, ma’am. Not sure if a cat crapped in your cereal or you’re always this churlish, but chill. Nowhere in your previous comment did you say anything about waiting for anyone at the finish line. Your choice of words were ambiguous; so work on your communication. And secondly, yes I would date a thicker woman. I prefer them over skinnier or more in shape women. It’s just my preference.

I don’t repress it, but again, why should a woman’s emotionality be coddled when we tell men to bottle it up and hold it in? How about we just be mindful of each other and talk? I can’t tell you how often I hear women say “he should know. If he loves he will know how I feel.” No, that’s how I treat my pets because they can’t verbally communicate. I want an equal relationship with my partner and that means she has to communicate with her words, not with her volatile emotions.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/22 08:13 AM
3

Nothing like condescending behavior and churlish verbosity to show just how throughly unlikeable you are. All people have emotions. But for some reason, men are expected to coddle women’s emotions. I thought we were all equal under feminism? 🤔
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/22 07:49 AM

It is ridiculous though. Like I said before, body positivity is women’s way of being gassed up and picking apart overweight men.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/22 06:06 AM

Gotta agree with you here. I think body positivity tends to hurt men who are overweight and unnecessarily gas up overweight women.

Ahhh. Cool. I’ll look into that. I think tech is fascinating so I’ll see what I can learn there. Thanks for the advice bro. Agreed with your earlier point on making money. It feels good to have more money in your pocket.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/22 06:02 AM

So I have an HR background and math is not a strong suit. Any advice to get into tech? Sorry for the million questions, but I want to make more money and I want a fallback plan should my therapist idea not work out. I have no tech experience and I have a BA in Sociology from Purdue (which has helped with my career in HR, believe it or not).

Thanks! Do you work in excess of 40 hours/week and what was your career ladder like? I’m looking at my options as I may or may not be able to attend, but 50% sure I can go back.

Gotta agree. I only make about $65k and I’m Indian American (29) but I’ve dated mostly older women and they almost always make similar income or, in 2 cases, north of $100k. I find that 100 times sexier than a younger woman with no prospects who cares more about her social media presence than her future.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/22 11:02 PM

You have to take into consideration that a lot of Indian men fetishize white women to an unhealthy degree. It might just be your friend group. 🤷‍♂️

This is pretty true. Some guys are seriously jackasses and will dig at you when it’s clear that a girl is into you. The crabs in a bucket approach. Pretty pathetic honestly.

I’ve seen some stunners and very educated women on dating apps. Idk where you’re getting that the “best women” aren’t on dating apps.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/22 05:09 PM

Heavily depends on where and who you work with. For example, I’ve been in HR for about 5 years and that’s a no-go with many co-workers. But yeah, generally not a bad idea to make work friends you see outside of work.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/22 03:39 PM
2

I think men inherently understand this dilemma but I think women are less likely to; women are very seldom the pursuers and the advice they give may sound compassionate and empathetic but it’s not very realistic or they’re missing that fact.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/22 03:16 PM
1

I think it can be that she desires you the most. I guess it depends on how much she wants her pleasure to be taken seriously. I know some women aim to please more than be pleased so it’s funny to me to see how many women complain here about not getting off. If it’s that much of a problem, why do you choose guys who care so little about your pleasure? If it’s rare for you to orgasm with a partner, maybe your partner is not good at sex, no matter how good looking or charismatic or big a dick they …
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/22 08:07 PM

Orgasms from sex are rare for a lot of men to accomplish on here, but I have a rule that my goal is to get my partner off before I do. I can last anywhere from 30 minutes to a couple of hours without cumming. The shape of my dick (curved) also helps women achieve orgasm because of the way it hits her G-spot. Since I can last a while, she’s almost guaranteed to cum, and I know that because my partners enthusiastically say “I’m cumming.” In the rare occasions she can’t and needs stimulation, I go …
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/22 07:55 PM
3

Agreed, man. I think wanting to be desired what women care about most. I love making a woman cum and hearing her scream in bed, but I’m noticing a pattern with women I’ve dated not really caring about that. They seem to care much more so about wanting to be desired for desired’s sake rather than a quality orgasm.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/22 08:29 AM
7

I remember this very well in my own encounters. I made a woman cum multiple times (she was keeping count with about 15 orgasms over the course of 2.5 hours) but my dick is used to barrier free sex so I couldn’t cum the first session. Then, after dinner and some weed, we had sex again and she mentioned that she wanted to make me cum but didn’t outright say it. She hinted at it and then mentioned she was insecure that she couldn’t make me cum. Turns out, every other guy she’s been with has cum wit…

Btw, it will always be the responsibility of you (whether a man or woman) to decide who you fuck. If you fuck the same type of people over and over, have a look in the mirror. There’s something in YOU that attracts those people. You can try to change others in vain, or you can take some responsibility like an adult to not attract those types of people. A good therapist will help you see that. If you can’t afford a decent therapist, might be worth it to check out attachment theory. You might have…

How do you know those who care sexually successful are happier? They’re often bitter people using others to get their jollies off. Billionaires exist because people are selfish and will sell their friends short for their own greed. Look at America: most people consider themselves “temporarily embarrassed millionaires” instead of fighting for higher wages via collective bargaining and political unionizing.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/22 07:27 AM

A 60 year old fuck boy is pretty pathetic though lol. Even George Clooney stopped at like 53.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/22 04:34 AM

💯. I think there’s a lot of function to relationships and as we age, it’s more likely to be functional for men and women, provided that they’re good match and have mutual respect.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/22 04:32 AM
1

I have seen many men and women excuse their friend cheating and double down that they themselves wouldn’t cheat. Maybe in your friend group that doesn’t happen, but I’ve witnessed among my friend groups and even women I dated. Needless to say, trying to find better people now lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/22 04:02 AM
1

We’ll just depends again lol. Depends on what you want and who you’re dating. But if you as a man or woman really want a serious relationship, even therapists would agree, that delaying sex is more likely to create an atmosphere where you find out your shared values. Jumping into bed and then accusing someone of using you is absurd behavior, and I hardly hear guys saying it. I do, however, see a lot of women with poor boundaries get mad when a guy gets what he wants (casual sex) because she want…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/22 03:58 AM
1

True. I also think the company people keep (your friends and their friends) influence your decision to cheat so when men and women have friends that have cheated, I would cut off my SO because that shows how you see relationships. It happens very often and should be questioned.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/22 03:52 AM
1

Well I’m talking about women, who for example, want a relationship but use sex to draw a guy in. If you want exclusivity from a man, I don’t see how you’re going to get that by just sleeping around. Now if you want to sleep around, then you usually act accordingly. But if your goal is a monogamous relationship but you sleep around with people who are just looking for casual sex, that’s 100% on you for not properly vetting them prior to getting sexual. My ex did that: we slowly became more sexual…

Dressing up while soaking in attention is still the type of attention seeking behavior most men should stay away from.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/22 03:21 AM

I agree but I do think it makes for a very good smokescreen to go clubbing and call a guy insecure for not wanting that boundary to be crossed. Overall, I just question how often women will admit they go out for clubbing for attention when they can conveniently say “it’s for the girls. Stop being jealous.”
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/22 03:18 AM
1

Get better male friends who don’t constantly thirst over women who thirst trap on social media🤷‍♂️
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/22 02:13 AM

She wouldn’t need a nightclub to cheat, true, but it’s a decent smokescreen and can easily painted as “your insecurity.” I say this as a guy who didn’t much like clubs but had a girlfriend cheat on me with a guy she met from the club.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/22 02:08 AM
2

Finally, someone who understands. Mad respect for you and your husband. A bar is one thing, but a club, where people go to get horny and drunk, is a completely different atmosphere.

/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/22 01:52 AM

Agreed with you until that last sentence. Some people have bad or strained relationships with their parents. Yelling is never a good form of communication, but some parents are ill equipped to communicate in a way that is conducive to conversation. Best to still walk away because there's likely issues in their relationship he has to heal from.

If anything liberals encourage casual sex. Idk where this odd perspective came from lmfao
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 09:54 AM

Lol was telling a friend about this a couple of months ago. Casual sex is very much like fast food.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 09:29 AM

I think there’s a subset of women who clearly are not told or don’t care to hear those opinions; doesn’t sound like it’s you though. But I have seen it in other social media platforms. It’s usually women (sometimes men) choosing partners with a certain common trait and applying their perspective to the opposite sex like they’re a monolith.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 09:16 AM
1

I also think, to add on what to you’re saying, there are a lot of men and women who choose partners that may simply be out of their “league.” I’m not saying people should just settle partners they’re not attracted to, but I’ve seen a lot of comments that lead me to believe some people believe they “deserve” certain partners but in very little effort to look at real compatibility outside of just looks or status. Not saying you in particular; just people in general. It’s funny how often the people…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 09:14 AM

I get it. I think the other commenter said something that seemed vague and to be going in a different direction but yeah I agree with what you’re saying here. We all pay dearly for entertaining people who hurt us, whether they changed at some point during the relationship or we were ignorant to the red flags the whole time. I’ve been there as a guy, and there are plenty of us dudes who are told me should have been aware earlier on.

As corny as it sounds, there is love out there but I think love is an action and not just a feeling. It’s sad to see so many men and women despair with relationships because of their pain, but I do think relationships, good and bad, have the ability to make us better people. Without relationships, the mode…

Wow. This was a lovely post. I’m going back to school to be a therapist next year (fingers crossed times 10) but I dislike the comments here disregarding therapy. A good therapist will validate your concerns while also encouraging you to grow. I also have to question some of the commenters here. In addition to OLD encouraging more promiscuity among men and women, online porn has been a detriment to many men and their libidos; that constant flow of unearned dopamine wreaks havoc on your sexual li…

You need NoFap very bad, my friend. Sex is a lot of fun, but it’s not all it’s cut out to be, especially with people who aren’t very good at it. You can sleep with a person and find out they suck/have very little enthusiasm. Then what? At that point, it’s like eating a very mediocre sandwich. Still dissatisfying.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/22 08:33 AM
1

Lol hilarious user name. It’s kinda funny. I don’t make much money but I have to wonder about the inherent issues with socialization and need for therapy for the guy above. I was struggling with dating for a while after a traumatic breakup, but I remedied that by trying online dating and actually facing rejection. Wonder why the dude doesn’t seek counseling and do hobbies that make it so that socialization with women outside of work helps him overall with women.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/22 08:29 AM
1

If you’re not truly happy with your anti f choices, how truly happy are you? I’m talking about the women who simultaneously have more options AND are unhappy with their dating prospects.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/22 10:50 PM
1

Someone who makes sense on this insane thread lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/22 09:39 PM
1

💯. I’m on the path to become a therapist one day, and I find the impact of social media on dating/mating/relationships incredibly fascinating. I find that many men have a more realistic view of online dating because they see how negatively skewed the results are for the average man. I see far less women (even average women) who understand how social media negatively impacts their dating prospects.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/22 09:38 PM
1

Let’s see people find their partners without social media then. A lot of people would fail miserably if they tried. No one is arguing to partners that you shouldn’t be attracted to your partner; that’s absurd. I’m talking about the very real harmful effects of using social media and how that impacts WHO we find attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/22 09:34 PM
1

Or maybe people are attracted to a mirage based on what social media tells them they deserve 🤷‍♂️

Based ancap argument. Totally bullshit but based af.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/22 08:41 PM

Yeah that’s bullshit. Hop on to any social media platform and you’ll see leagues of women saying “where are all the good men?” It’s been happening for decades prior to social media too.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/22 08:34 PM
1

I don’t think I have any challenges seeing women as a “package.” It’s more so what behaviors indicate they are more likely to cheat versus not cheat, which I realize will differ from person to person. When I said the “one” I fully realize there isn’t only “one” person who we can be happy with. I know that it’s about how you make each other feel and whether or not you both fit based on mutual values.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/22 07:51 PM

I’ve done all of these except actively work out and seek friendships with women. I definitely need more therapy though.

Have you thought maybe the guys you like don’t like you? Not being harsh or anything but sometimes we have an idealized view of who we want based on their attractiveness level and we simply aren’t a good match. I learned that in the last year and it’s been helpful.

Do you have social anxiety? I know that stopped me from pursuing women at that age and after my first gf, I had far less anxiety around women my age.
/r/seduction26/05/22 06:26 AM

What do you love about being alive (other than the pursuit of women)? This is a serious question that I think a lot of young men struggle with. It helps to think and take action on things you enjoy and which make you spring out of bed every day. When people see you happy, they’re more likely to want to be around you (or for that matter date you).
/r/seduction26/05/22 06:20 AM

This reminds me of guys who go blackpill when they realize they’re going bald, as if having hair is necessary to get laid or have a meaningful relationship. Find what you love about yourself and amplify that shit!

I’d consider seeing a photographer and getting some pictures done. The phrase “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” is corny but it’s true because there are aspects of how you look that you’re not even aware other people find attractive because your insecurity about your nose is that great.
/r/seduction15/05/22 08:54 PM

Are there people in your life (like family and friends) who bully you about the crooked nose?

This is big OP. Some people are bound to not mesh with our personality. Don’t force it but also get outside of your own comfort zone with some of the playful assumptions people are saying here.

To add to this, there are therapy services you can get for free. DM me and I’ll send you the website to find a clinic in your area that offers free or reduced cost therapy based on your family size and income.

There is a certain threshold though, OP. People with attachment issues shouldn’t be persistent in trying to attract a girl who is very little interest.

But that’s the issue “everyone knows this.” That can be true while you also acknowledge that you maybe didn’t have the right role models, upbringing or socialization to make it real for you. There’s also childhood trauma and shame which can affect you. I get where you’re coming from (I was there too) but really you have to make small subtle changes slowly and see how you feel about yourself vs waiting for someone else (like a hot woman) validate you.

I say this with the utmost respect: you need a mental health therapist. Clearly something in childhood or your formative years is eating away at your self confidence and you need to understand what/why that is so you can cultivate self respect without relying on anyone (including women) that validate your ego.

There’s so much simping for women who are “baddies” I feel physically ill reading the comments sometimes. Men project their own lack of security based on the status of women who fuck them. That woman you idolize is far, far less desirable after fucking her because you realize you weren’t attracted to her as much as you just wanted the validation that sleeping with her would give you.

It is common for sure but I think it’s the least fun of getting to know someone. Agree to disagree. Seems too formal and can give off the “I’m a provider vibe” instead of getting drinks/smoking a j in the park/getting ice cream and walking together in the city can be fun and interesting, even memorable if you stumble upon people you know, which can add social proof.

Hollywood, but to a lesser extent the news. I think Hollywood propagandizes a specific look or status a lot (for example people of color had to white wash a lot to be in movies up until the 2010s) which impact what the masses find sexy or alluring. Like I said it's getting better for people of color so I think attitudes will shift in the future because acceptance of global media and the associated biases. I'm just pointing out the difference in the way we relate to each other up to now.
/r/seduction19/01/22 04:20 AM
24

Nah, just stating my bias. I grew up in America and really people of color have been the butt of jokes in media for a while and that in some ways skewed sexual preferences; it’s definitely gotten better but I like to play to my hand rather than allow general sociological trends to limit my abilities. Very defensive take too. Not sure why but a lot of white Americans like to pretend like being a different ethnicity does not have profound effects on socialization. Try being a white guy in Japan lo…

Yeah because women are emotional and not looking to have a deep intellectual conversation at a club. I understand the struggle and maybe you genuinely don't like dancing, but why not go to a bar instead? Clubbing is about catching a vibe and dancing not talking a whole lot. You can get to a side and talk for sure, but how often does that happen relative to learning how to dance and getting her home? I went once completely sober. It was definitely off being sober, but I noticed the older dudes an…

/r/seduction18/01/22 12:49 AM

That’s true. I don’t deny that. I just believe that I want to enjoy dancing in a crowded place because I can use it as an actor and because generally women will test you and your dance skills if she’s moderately attractive during the relationship. It’s worth knowing how to dance very well.

One second. Corny but here’s one “Elle, why do I see you sipping champagne, strolling through an art museum, laughing your ass off along the way?! 😉.” Her response: “Are you psychic or have you just been straight up stalking me? 🤔😂” IMHO emotional engagement for women is high when on interacting with us because she can’t see, smell, be in your presence which is seductive in its own right. Sorry for the novel here but I noticed that lately when I was playing around with social media dating apps. …

For sure but who the hell starts a conversation on tinder with “hey what’s up?” and has it work? That shit is played out. Feel to correct me if I’m wrong. And I don’t use those thirsty emojis. I try to provocatively funny or get some sort of emotion out of her with an emoji or whatever. I’m an actor and I’m trying something different instead of canned openers or something that will get passed up like “hey what’s up?” I don’t mind using it if works well honestly.
/r/seduction18/01/22 12:19 AM
1

What about using emojis or punctuation if you’re trying to be provocative or evoke emotion? I suck with canned openers. I can’t own the energy because it feels logical, which hasn’t worked in my favor talking to women. I usually create an emotional opener based on something I think they value or I try to make her laugh. It sometimes works sometimes doesn’t. I’ll try to keep some stats to see.

Then why not maximize on that? I went to a Latino club once and these Indian guys paid for some fusion Indian hip hop music. I was dancing having a good time and a bunch of girls who didn’t acknowledge me before suddenly we’re staring and curious about me. Didn’t approach because I genuinely was too anxious to do that but if you’re having a good time women can really feel it.

How does he feel about himself? You invoked the most extreme example at first which was why I called it out. Some people like OP might legitimately feel more masculine living alone and providing for themselves. The day I left my parents house, I moved into a short term Airbnb and got laid that first night. Some of us benefit from moving out and being our own man because our parents stifled us in some way. Short story long… nothing against the guys who can get plenty of pussy while living at home…

It helped me but I realize everyone is different. Been seeing therapists on and off for 6 years and I’m better man because of it.
/r/seduction07/01/22 03:04 AM

That sucks honestly. Some therapists are not great. I recommend seeing an LCSW or LMFT rather than a psychiatrist or clinical psychologist. There’s a huge distinction but basically LCSW’s and lmft’s are trained to do talk therapy. It may vary in your state but the the latter two tend to be a little too focused on medicine for psychiatrists because they mainly do medication management and I’m not aware of clinical psychologists doing much talk therapy either.

Right but you’re assuming their job is to “fix you.” There is no “you to fix.” They’re there to help you self reflect and come to your own conclusions on how to be a better person/man. Try to have a game plan of what you want to discuss next time.

You have to be a valuable person to have a relationship as a woman to the same degree you have to be a valuable person as a man to have a lot of sexual opportunities with women. We both bare our burden and I’m thankful to be a man who is focused on maximizing sexual opportunities while having fun. Everyone complicates the hell out of it and women especially don’t take responsibility for actually leading a life that will lead to a relationship like delaying sex for emotional connection first. Damn that sounds amazing. I love people. I was a people person from a young age and was naturally charismatic but lost a lot of that due to social anxiety. This was all with limited language capability and I barely spoke English. It’s funny how much the times can change but hopefully more people our age will be more bold. I prefer public transportation but in California everyone drives cars.

I agree my friend. Even as a child traveling in India, some of the most friendly people were complete strangers. It’s weird how normal it is to be anti social as a millennial. It wasn’t like that when I grew up on the east coast in the 90s.

Fa sho. I’m balding and not tall at all (5’6”) but in the last year alone, I’ve lost about 20 lbs, frequently get my hair trimmed, and upped my clothing style a fuckton. It makes a difference in your career and the average women you see checking you out everyday.

How much is it appropriate to text in the days leading up to a date after you’ve already picked a date? I made the mistake of planning something 4 days out (got her number Sunday night, started to texted her Tuesday around noon, pace of conversation led me to ask her out on Wednesday for a Saturday date, which she flaked when I sent a confirmation text that morning). I could have built more rapport over text with 1-2 messages but I think texting after the date is set but before the date happens …

I live in the Sacramento area but have been meaning to approach women out there in the SF area. Let’s meet up soon and we can make group approaches. Might be easier for us because we can befriend other women whose guard is usually lower if it’s 2 guys who look like genuine friends, versus a stranger approaching a 2 set.
/r/seduction19/12/21 06:16 PM
5

True. I told a friend that I have to assume a level of interest from the woman I’m approaching to be bold, but I usually try to build some sort of attraction. Admittedly this is where I need the most work but I’ve long stopped asking a number off the bat. That shit will never work and is highly needy. Do you all ever stop a woman you’re attracted to the in street? Or is that too public? Is there such a thing as an approach that’s too public?
/r/seduction19/12/21 05:24 PM
2

I’ve noticed women tend to naturally feel safe around men that tower over them in height. Personally I’m not a tall guy but I’ve noticed also that being charismatic around a lot of men catches the attention of a woman because it shows you’re a social guy, so I’m trying to be more of a social leader in public, in and around women before I talk to a woman I’m interested in. I’ve noticed this work so many times but I never did anything with it.
/r/seduction19/12/21 04:59 PM

I swear I laugh at my phone for a minute at some innocuous thing, and a girl will be staring/glaring over at me, maybe thinking “oh what’s he laughing at?”
/r/seduction18/12/21 05:57 AM

We need to normalize cold approach. You know what’s not fucking healthy? How socially connected via technology millennials and zoomers are, yet how disconnected we are in actual public settings. I had that skill more when I was younger but lost it due to social anxiety. I’ve been combating that by talking to strangers every day and taking challenging roles where I have to meet a lot of new people.
/r/seduction18/12/21 05:51 AM

Yep, right at sunset. Pretty proud of that lol. I want to move to the Bay Area specifically to make that part of my seduction process. I live in a more suburban area but our parks are littered with a lot of trash; hard to find good parks.

It’s been getting pretty dark earlier in the day. Do you plan picnic dates before or after sunset? I usually go for dates around 6-7 at the earliest but it’s pitch black by that time after fall time.
/r/seduction18/12/21 01:46 AM
1

Depends on how many unattractive behaviors you have. For me, I have to assume some level of interest or attraction from a woman in order to approach. That’s something I need to change because I need to build that attraction with a woman, but I try to assume a positive of practicing my game from any approach I make, successful or not. So going in with the thought “this will be a good approach” helps but I can’t assume too much attraction on their part. For example, I can get the number but maybe …
/r/seduction17/12/21 09:21 PM

Where do you cold approach? Any fears of running into people you might know seeing you hit on a girl you like or knowing them already? That’s my fear with cold approach since I live in a bigger city but somehow so many people know each other around here.

What’s your opinion on coffee or ice cream? I think I could reduce flaking by suggesting like that but I don’t know if it’s enough or comes across way to platonic. I’m not averse to drinks but I’m not a big fan of booze either.
/r/seduction16/12/21 02:26 AM

Consider reading some books like 3% Man by Corey Wayne, Models by Mark Manson, and The Confidence Gap by Russ Harris. All solid books and the last one was written by a former alcoholic turned doctor.
/r/seduction15/12/21 03:20 PM
13

Yeah dude you need some work on your social skills. When you tell someone about something they feel insecure about, it’s not your feelings that are being undermined, it’s theirs. Whether you good advice or bad is inconsequential. Also, no one is perfect, my man. Hence your friends desire to “perfect” how he looks.
/r/seduction15/12/21 03:19 PM
6

Confidence comes from constant action and taking risks where you will inevitably be the novice. Surround yourself with likeminded goals with a nonjudgmental perspective. Also consider reading the Confidence Gap by Russ Harris. He talks about his alcoholism in his 20s as a way of coping with meeting women and his trajectory into medical school.

Lmfao. I just imagine like a Mickey Rourke looking dude after all his surgeries. That’s on him for letting other people determine his future physical health.

Don’t do it. Like a lot of men here say, start exercising and toning your body. That handsome friend of yours is gonna get uglier as he ages with that cosmetic surgery. If he chooses to do nothing about his personality, his ability to attract and keep a woman in old age will deteriorate also. I look much older now at 28, balding but I get haircuts that still make my hairline look passable. I still catch women staring at me in public and I’m 5’6”. Not tall, not classically handsome, but I have st…

Never spend more than a couple of days trying to arrange a date. That’s the biggest red flag that she’s using as a time tampon; she likes the attention from you because she doesn’t have to or want to commit the time to meet you. Moral of the story: don’t be her time tampon.

There’s plenty of examples of dudes who were born with a huge advantage in the dating world and who are objectively shitty people. It’s not a black and white thing. Look at many frat and sorority people whose parents pay for their way through college (and in life). They have an abundance of confidence and look nice yet they’re flagrant narcissists. Obviously not all people in Greek life but the stereotypes definitely have some credence to them (hazing, college rape stories, and illegal drug usag…

I think the first is common enough. I had an old manager who did that shit. She was into me the entire time I was in a relationship and would hint at us hanging out here and there. When I broke up with my ex, I added her on IG and she would periodically block me then and unblock me. I just blocked her ass altogether after that from LinkedIn, IG, and my phone lol.

It’s possible. Depends how other guys treat her. Some guys will hit on a woman blatantly in front of her bf even if they’re friends or acquaintances. If you don’t, even if it’s because you respect their relationship, she might be more drawn to you. That’s been my experience and it’s annoying, because I genuinely am not into women in relationships. That’s a ticking time bomb.

I’ve been there. Not being directly asked a question like this but the vibe a girl who’s taken gives when you don’t act thirsty towards her like other dudes.

This goes to show different men and women really are. A guy who found out a girl is a virgin wouldn’t necessarily be this angry or disappointed about it.

Talk to strangers every single day. That’s the only way to be a better conversationalist. It can start with complimenting someone’s clothing style, but it should be genuine.

Is there a success rate that you think beginner’s should use to gauge if they’re having any sort of success? Like a certain of numbers or numbers becoming dates? I’m a numbers guy so acclimating to many rejections isn’t bad but where I live there’s 500k people in my city, but people know each very well here to the point where it would be embarrassing if people ran into each who I might have hit on. I’ll take the L of rejection, but wanna make sure people aren’t spreading rumors.

I hit on this girl at an arcade and got her number. It was a casual conversation but we kept it going amidst a couple of silent moments. I realize now I could have been spiking her emotions more like guessing what she does for a living. She flaked on the date so I needed to display who I was more in person.

Solid advice. I got a number after my first approach the other day. I need to work on my texting game and maybe even build more comfort during the approach to reduce flaking for a date. I plan dates a little too fast over text which can sometimes scare them off. Do you think drinks or dinner is too formal? A friend suggested taking a woman out for ice cream or coffee instead, so she’s less anxious and you can build more attraction in person.

Wow saving this for later. OP, sometimes it’s just the luck of the draw. I chatted up this girl at an arcade a few weeks ago and then told her I thought she was cute and had to get going but that I wanted to talk to her again. I got her number and texted a few days later. I set up a date (a little too soon, should have bantered for a few messages) but she agreed early on and then flaked the day of the date. Keep persisting but maybe change up the tone of the conversation at some point to show ro…

What’s a good opener in a club? I’m still new to clubs but I’ve gotten mad eye contact from women when I go alone. Just don’t know what to say to not across as desperate or like I’m giving too much validation. Like I want to show intent that I’m interested but not too much.

I agree with a lot on this list but here are some things holding me back from sharing too much about myself up front: 1.) I’m Indian although I do look mixed race so women often don’t immediately guess I’m Indian. I also have a nickname that doesn’t suggest I’m Indian off the bat. 2.) I don’t have a large IG following but I do post what I’m doing in life on there. What is considered attractive or unattractive seems extremely subjective. 3.) I’m 5’6”. I don’t think desiring and showing your desire to a woman is neediness if you can demonstrate you will walk away if she doesn’t like you the same way. I think that’s where it changes.

All the best, my dude. Share any updates here with us as you grow. I've been there myself and I'm growing as well. That book and How to be a 3% Man by Corey Wayne made a big difference in my evolution as a man and in my dating life. Still learning every day.

Read the book Models by Mark Manson. You’re a needy dude (many of us have been there, no judgment). You gotta build yourself to not be so needy and to hit on women who are receptive to your charms.

How successful are you with using this phrase? I like it because I think it shows you have balls to a woman and sets up the intentions for the conversation early on, instead of something like asking for directions, which I find to be disingenuous and hard to keep the conversation going.

Germany has a thriving far right party called AFD. They hate immigrants, especially Arab Muslims so this isn’t entirely surprising. OP, you might not wanna go there ever again. Question for some of my bros of color: do you think race has a place with who you ultimately sleep with? Not trying to turn this racial but I’ve noticed as a 5’6” Indian American dude who looks mixed race (I’ve been told this many times by women of color) I’ve noticed more success with women of color, especially Latinas, some Asians, and black women. Curious if anyone else has had this experience. With white women, it’s been more flirty and easy to get initial interest but that quickly wanes and…

So you’re making progress; that’s great. You do have to adjust your expectations for the type of you’ll meet on social media alone because women have ways to make themselves seem more beautiful or interesting than they might be in real life. So it might be best to also be hitting on women in real life so the available pool of dateable women is larger than if you just use social media.
/r/seduction05/12/21 08:48 PM

You’re jumping to conclusions. I had no problem getting a woman I hooked up with to meet me again. Granted I’m not very good at one night stands but after the one I had, I waited a few days to ask her out again and she gladly obliged. Maybe the hookup wasn’t as good for her as it was for you, Or like others have said, she has a lot of options and you were lower on the list.
/r/seduction05/12/21 08:43 PM

Well it does make a difference, bro. Idk how you to don’t get that. If she’s never met you and flaked that’s a different meaning than you met her, hooked up, and then she flaked.

Keep in mind that engineers and even IT people with degrees are expected to have experience before they make the big bucks. So your network means a lot. It’s different for me, I chose a liberal arts pathway so the earning potential was limited in the beginning and even now is just ok, but I’m a people oriented person so I’ve been building up my resume. Good question. It’s a struggle starting out here. It was for me and a few other Purdue grads who ended up in LA. I’m in Sacramento. Overall, it’s about your network. I started off just a little above minimum wage and within a couple of years, I was making about $4-5/minimum wage, but I have a BA in Sociology. Right now, I’m doing a lot better but really depends on where you work. Healthcare pays quite well depending on where you live in the bay and also what job you do.
/r/seduction03/12/21 05:35 AM

Right but it’s very easy to land multiple jobs out here. I used to live on the east coast as a kid and then the Midwest as a teenager. Out here in CA, you can land jobs if you have a strong work ethic and solid social skills.

If she’s wearing an IUD and it’s not properly inserted or has moved around inside of her, then it may hurt you and/or her. But make sure she’s pretty wet by doing foreplay like kissing/making out so when you do enter her it’s not rough for either of you. It should glide right in.

I think those of us who struggled with seduction and are getting better are less likely to take for granted the dates we do get, because we worked hard to get there, often fighting past childhood trauma and rejection that felt demoralizing. I don’t know your friends but it sounds like they may have had an easier time than many of us here do, which is why they take their success for granted and feel exhausted by it. Just my 2 cents.

I’d add in there “Models” by Mark Manson. All of these books talk about intimacy issues and how you must overcome them to not be needy and insecure while approaching, since women really pick up on the vibe you give off. Next time you’re out and about, just try to smile at people you make direct eye contact with. Be careful obviously, as some people get weirded out by this, but overall notice that plenty of people feed off your positive energy, smile back, and even smiled harder after seeing/feel…

It's kind of strange, huh? I moved to California thinking socializing would be easier, but it's actually harder than when I was in Indiana. People are very status-driven in California and your clothes/style project a level of confidence that I'm learning to improve. But yes, overall, I think it's considered "cool" to be socially awkward lol. I’ve found this hard to implement in life because I have dealt with many jealous people growing up. I was the ditzy, but handsome boy that people found oddly charming because I was kind to people. Everyone from friends to male cousins who tore down that confidence I was trying to build up. Even as an adult, we will have to deal with insecure people who project their insecurities onto successful, self confident people. Tl;dr spot on. Don’t let the “spotlight effect” get to you. Yes some people notice you talking to her, but realistically, how many men or women have the balls to talk to a 1.) complete stranger at random, and 2.) pique their interest in the interaction to get their number/go further?

Any sources of inspiration for you, or just purely your desire to be with many women? Some men want to be with many women to hide their inherently low status, I don’t care about status. I just want to be with women and have fun. Obviously lead and be precise with words like you mentioned.

It’s easy to see why young men feel this way now. If you look at social media and the news, there’s a lot of propaganda fed to us about gender roles being obsolete, but who do you call to fix a leak? Men. Who is usually tending to sick patients in a hospital setting? Women. Yes I’m rambling but have a look at modern countries in Scandinavia and even Japan. Don’t be afraid to go for a kiss a second time is the sense I get from most dudes. I tried to kiss this girl too early in the date, and her body language rejected it. By the end of the date, I kissed her and she was totally into it. Escalate early on and feel free to step back if she’s not feeling it at that moment. Try again when the vibe is more flirty.

I feel you. I’m good at pushing women, but I suck at pulling them back in. I can be sarcastic and shit, but it comes across as more platonic than sexual or suggestive.

I recommend taking a job that places you in front of people with a lot of conversation and varying circumstances. I’m an extrovert but my office job keeps me siloed from people so I’m actually getting back out there in a service-oriented job soon.

“Reason is the enemy of passion,” David Hume. Women are not as logical as men and attraction is one of the least logical things, but there are logical steps to become more passionate as a man, and one of them is being a good listener of what women do rather than what they say with body language. I’ve missed many opportunities because an obviously cute girl was doing something like brushing her foot against mine but I was always to anxious about other shit to care in the moment. I will be harness…

Quick logical question: if you’re getting her number, how does a profile picture fit into this? Not being facetious. I’m asking because that would only appear on someone’s social media.

It’s not too late. I highly recommend this book. It’s about finding your purpose by aligning your life with your values: The Confidence Gap by Russ Harris. It’s written by a PhD who struggled with confidence through his 20s but managed to finish his degree and write this book. He even talks briefly about addiction. All the best, brother.
/r/seduction05/07/21 09:46 PM
2

What’s your purpose in life? Not hating at all, man. Mine is to be an actor; perhaps evaluating that direction will help you build that confidence in yourself. It sure helped me but I’m a long way to be where I want with women.
/r/seduction05/07/21 09:30 PM

Why? That sounds like every man’s dream.
/r/seduction05/07/21 09:13 PM

Lead her to chill in an environment where you can be seated closer. Then pick a moment where you’re both feeling it, and lean in for a kiss.
/r/seduction30/06/21 02:40 PM

It’s worth it, man. The people saying they’re needy when they’re on it we’re needy to begin with and are justifying their lack of neediness with an addiction. Transmute your natural sexual energy into something that makes you a better man. The women will follow.

Curious why not BJJ. I took a class and didn’t like it as much as aikido which I took many years ago. With boxing do you run the risk of breaking teeth? I ask because dental work is expensive as fuck in the US but I want to get lean and do a combat sport that brings out that inner assertiveness I’ve been stuffing down for many years.

Honestly dawg, I’ve seen your posts on this sub and 100% agree. I’m an intelligent dude (not just my ego talking here, a lot of people say this about me). I can tell when someone is faking being intellectual to be appealing versus having something thoughtful and reflective to say. Many women know that men want more than just a hot body so that’s their way of trying to appeal to us, but it’s fake as hell.
/r/seduction09/06/21 03:20 AM

Not bad but I disagree with this being a hard and fast rule. Not every woman is comfortable giving out her number especially with creepy fucks blowing up her phone. I think Snapchat or IG is fine but honestly even staying on Tinder and avoiding a phone number until meet up is not the end of the world. I slept with a woman last week who didn’t give her number until the meetup.

I think steering it back to dating in person is best. He has solid fundamentals but I do think that texting too much connotes that you have free time. Sadly, when women sense your time is more free then they’re more likely to devalue you and your time. He even mentions that a few times in his book.

Try some bicycling. I’m a 5’6” dude and I get a lot of compliments for my legs and I don’t even work out my upper body or core (yes yes I know. Working on it 😆).

No not at all lmfao. I have a second date with one this week. I’m just saying I don’t find them as interesting as people and it’s because I’m too chicken to hit on hotter women in public due to low self confidence. I’m treating this all like practice. It’s fun and I’m not expecting women to just jump my bones. 😆
/r/seduction01/06/21 04:41 PM

I see where you’re coming from. I see approaching a woman in public like an audition now. You can insinuate you like her or you can be direct and just compliment. I’m not sure how to insinuate I like her and lead it to a date in public like the guy with the retail girl did. I’ve gotten a few dates from Tinder but nothing special or interesting.
/r/seduction01/06/21 03:56 PM
1

This is a stepping stone, dude. As you get more experienced, you can lead with your desire and do what the guy above did (who asked out a retail worker). We’re all in different places in our lives and starting small will help a lot.
/r/seduction01/06/21 03:48 PM

I think you’re too focused on the outcome and not having fun with it. Try just complimenting women in public first without even a hint of confidence issues or outcome dependence.

I feel you, man. I recommend looking into attachment theory as it holds a huge place in the way we form and break relationships in life, intimate or otherwise. I, for example, have an easier time making new friends and relationships with new people but hard time holding onto them due to a chronic feeling of “what if something more or better is around the corner.” Many young attractive people take this to an extreme where histrionics and use of “I need space” is abusive rather than creating a nat…
/r/seduction15/05/21 06:33 AM

Do you watch a lot of porn? That can change the way you see women and people in general, while lowering your self confidence as you measure yourself against men who were born with more. I quote Abraham Lincoln from South Park’s episode where Kyle is voted the ugliest in his class, “people who are born good looking work less hard in life and eventually their looks fade, and by 40 they realize they’re a douche.” I may be paraphrasing but you catch my draft.
/r/seduction14/05/21 08:52 AM

Wait until car prices after the pandemic. We’re in an artificially inflated market for many goods, especially used and new cars. Demand is through the roof, although interest rates are low. I have a 2016 Corolla with black rims. Does it’s job and I’ll save for 18 months then get myself a nice 1-3 year old used German car for my 30th birthday.

She texted you for attention. Sad, but a lot of women do it. Think of it this way: she’s more needy for attention than you are. You’re genuinely interested in them and if they behave that way, that says a lot more about their empty need for validation.
/r/seduction11/05/21 10:52 PM

This gives me hope. Lost it at 22, in a relationship for 5 until 2020, one other lay after that.

You’re still not taking any risk in the modern day. That paragraph long response doesn’t even address how much time, money, effort men put into dating or the constant risk of rejection. Standing there looking pretty and making vague expressions to attract a guy is NOT risk. Plus plenty of women do the hot-cold and push-pull for nothing more than validation today whereas our mothers and grandmother did it to attract a mate.
/r/seduction11/05/21 08:18 PM

How often are y’all approaching men? That’s what I thought. So of course you’re settling. It’s up to the man to not settle because they’re the ones taking the risk.

Former east coaster and midwesterner here: California is a tough place to live but the jobs, opportunities to make friends and other connections, and overall life satisfaction is much higher than many areas in the east coast. This depends on who you are and where you are. Sacramento is kinda lame honestly but SF has much more attractive women. /r/seduction03/03/21 03:29 PM

It’s not a product you buy in a store. You have to build it based on your interests and putting yourself out there when you can. It’s tough during pandemic but maybe take a few classes with people your own age with similar interests.

What books and other methods did you use to improve your cold approaching and ultimately get more dates? It’s been tough in California with pandemic and so many people trying to keep their distance in public. I respect that but it just adds an additional layer of tension when I see a beautiful woman. The second part is hard as fuck with pandemic, man. I’m ready to take on a second job, save for a house, and take some classes but goddamn has this pandemic killed my drive. Still in some acting classes but this is a major cock blocker and it’s hard to make new friends in my city.

Already ahead of you bro. I’m in an acting class, ready to take a martial arts, and dance class. I’m going to start an at-home calisthenics workout I found on YouTube. It was a bad one ngl but my concern now is to hook up with many different type of women, because that’s truthfully the type of women I interact with platonically but I never had the balls to do the same with women I wanted to fuck. Wow. I feel like you’re describing my inner desires. I was in a 5 year relationship and broke it off. I had one hookup since that and have been deathly afraid of cold approach because of the adrenaline rush of seeing a hot woman, but I’m working on my inner game and fighting back that feeling of “what if she says no in the harshest way possible.”
/r/seduction26/02/21 09:54 PM

Any ideas for conversation starters? I’m usually good at starting conversations with strangers when it’s on a friendly basis, but I have a hard time approaching a hot woman. I’m kicking myself for an opportunity I missed just now when I was high waiting for my tacos in line.

Acting does require vulnerability though. I can guarantee that. Agree with everything else but I’ve been acting on and off for about 10 years. My college acting days were abysmal because I didn’t personalize the characters I played. In learning to personalize, you have to draw from emotional experiences in your own life. Frankly, I’m scared shitless some days of embarrassing myself. But ask yourself. Were ever you a beginner at anything else in life? Yeah probably as a kid. For me, acting is a c…

Highly recommend the acting class; there’s a common goal among interviews, cold approaches, and acting: being fully present in the moment and being vulnerable while showing competence and confidence. Let’s face it guys: it takes balls to approach a hot girl when your knees are shaking, heart is pounding, and head is filled with dirty thoughts. I had a hard time doing this because I grew up with emasculating parents and didn’t self actualize as a man until my first relationship. That relationship…

Yeah exposure and response therapy can help, especially if you were raised in a household where expressing yourself was stifled by abuse and neglect by family.
/r/seduction24/02/21 06:11 AM

This. As a dude you have to let go of a woman’s emotional tantrums after you’ve been hooking up. It could be their idea to only be fuck buddies and they’ll still get mad at you for using them.

Kinda hard to meet new people in the middle of a pandemic. Plus I’m not a fan of dating apps. Tried it and very little luck.

13

How do you get better at text game?
/r/seduction22/02/21 03:20 AM

What you just described is exactly why I have never approached a woman in public, out of fear of not having a good response. I’m working on my inner game right now so I have unshakeable confidence even in interactions like that.
/r/seduction21/02/21 11:22 PM

I agree you don’t want to come on hard to someone while you’re their customer, but I disagree about not hitting on them at all. I can’t count how many times a customer hit on me and was basically begging for me to ask for her number. I didn’t do it out of professionalism but the managers I had wouldn’t have been offended and in fact, pushed me to ask them after the fact.

Literally such shit advice. I’ve worked with gay dudes who are the most masculine people on earth that would scare the shit out of most men.

Hey, I have a tremendous amount of respect for you. I've been the more calm boyfriend while I was in a relationship, and the amount of attention I got from being taken was unreal. It's a sad reality for a lot of men that we are pursued more once we're already taken. It's also true that some men get a complex when a woman chases them. It's hurtful in both situations, I'm sure. I used to get intimidated by women who had your approach, because some of them APPEARED arrogant. I can see now that they…

I guess that's a little different to me. Long breaks between texting isn't too bad to me, because it's necessary for sexual tension. Without sexual tension, you're not going to be into each other as much as you could be. Plus, it makes you look too available if you text too fast. I'm specifically talking about women who are too afraid to basically approach a dude they're into, because fear of rejection. I mean how often does that even happen anyway? Doesn't sound like you're one of those types o…

I feel bad for those women. I think I come across as being a little more assertive than they're used to, so I often have to deal with that indirect communication, and I've missed out on countless opportunities. Call me gullible. But yeah, it's manipulative and the games guys hate so much are just that type of behavior, but amped up.

Ahhh lol. That makes a lot of sense. When I say test, I mean things some women will say to men to gauge our reaction, sometimes without fully committing to what they're saying, because they fear or are curious about the guy's reaction. It's something I've picked up on working with a company that has mostly women. I naively believed a co-worker telling me a story about "a friend" and when I told a female friend of mine, she asked "how do you know she wasn't talking about herself?" The story was i…

Casual mention is different than “I hate how my ex used to” or “ex’s huh?!” type of rhetoric which is what I think OP was referring to. Of course a casual mention would be normal but even the way you got defensive about this topic makes me wonder if you’re truly doing casual mentions or you’re going deeper. In my experience (and my friends experiences) women will bring up the ex’s to test the new dude. Not all women but enough for it to be a red flag in our minds now.

Is it necessary when you’re meeting someone new? The only answer is no.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
