This is a really well-put together post, but I feel compelled to point out that the real moral of The Tortoise And The Hare isn't "slow and steady wins the race", it's "don't get cocky", which is still applicable to TRP philosophy

I still can't believe the guy saying "you go?" set her off. He threw her insult back at her in the Indian equivalent of "no u" and it made her forget the golden rule of reciprocal morality.

I have this weird black cat that I think might have short term memory loss, because she forgets things immediately after they happen. Like if I can't reach my cats in time before they jump down, I chase them around a bit instead, and after that, they're usually a bit wary of me and watch what they do, and go back to normal shortly thereafter. The black cat on the other hand reacts the same way initially, running for the hills as soon as she sees me darting towards her, but that sense of wariness…

I've forced myself how to remember everything without the use of external devices (except for a phone for a few things), and although it's tenuous to have to remember a bunch of things throughout the day and go over that information over and over, it's a bit more mobile than a dry erase board. Being able to pull anything out of your mental repository at any time is useful with the downside being that the human brain is liable to forget things and you're constantly juggling information, useful at…

Overcome obstacles using your cunning. The human mind is an amazing thing when utilized to its fullest, and even the most average of people have the capability to hatch the most complex schemes to see their goals achieved. Who was Hitler before he became the Fuher? He was an average Austrian guy with an immense hatred for those who fucked Germany over with the Treaty of Versailles. When Hitler found where he fits into things, he embraced his surroundings and rallied people with strong words and …

Understand what it is that you need to do, and also when your first opportunity to do it is. In the morning, go through your day, thinking about the work to be done and at what opportunity you can get it done. Analyze your current time-table for the day, what's on the agenda, and how to eliminate those things as quickly as possible. If you know there's work to do but you can't do it right now because you're doing other work or anything else, do your best to occupy idle time with that work. Figur…

Once you become really good at time management, you become good at literally everything else, very slowly as you fit times for activities into your schedule to keep yourself sharp and efficient. You should always be doing something if you have something to do. Otherwise, just like smoke a fat bowl or something, I dunno.

Ah, I see. I guess I'm still a little innocent and uncorrupted at heart. Or maybe that was the last bit of innocence I had and it's now gone, heh. I think I have an idea of why it's called that, but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong because I probably am. Is it called "Running train" because it's like a caboose of people whose dicks are stuck in each other? I actually tinkered with that idea in my head a little when I was younger. I thought about how weird it would look to line a bunch of peo…

It's interesting that you bring up the "indoctrination" thing because they do seem pretty cult-en over there, and their methods are aggressive, like you have an obligation to not fap, ever. I'll stick to the cult of myself and how my gains are my own and not someone else's, thanks.

My brother and his girlfriend have almost been in a relationship for 3 years, and it's because she's entirely subservient and he's a capable leader. Very rarely do they disagree. I'm not sure what he did to make their relationship pretty well perfect, but it's some witchery, for certain. In their first year they had a couple disagreements, but after those, it was pretty much concurrence throughout.

I only do it on reddit, because I'm not foolhardy enough to talk to anyone besides my pack about Redpill. It's too risky, and although the "don't give a fuck what others think" mentality is mostly helpful, reputation is important.

I heard a joke about that once. "I went to my first fight club yesterday. I got there late so I only heard everything after Rule 8, but I'm pretty sure there was nothing too important before that. Very intense. Lots of blood."

She deserved confrontation. "What have you been doing? Why do you feel the need to go fuck other men? Whatever it is, we need to address this now." This would've been an example of a good response. The fact that you, the other person she's become attached to, is mad at her would've been enough to scare her straight because she's afraid of losing you. She would've wanted to keep having those good times, and would've ceased her sluttiness if she knew you knew about it and had a problem with it. Ju…

That's even worse, because now she'll be mocked in her social circles until the end of time. What can you do now, going forward? You can't erase the past, the only thing you can do as of right now is improve. Your relationship with her is absolutely done, let's just make that clear. Even if you did bounce back, neither of you will forget what you did. Next time, do NOT let your emotions control you. So, let's see. She cams/sexts some dude neither of you have even met on Chat Roulette, and she decides to go for a little side business as a prostitute. A bit shit, right? Whoring yourself out like that, pretty distasteful, pun intended. I would've left her right there. Even THAT would be a little extreme if she's a good LTR. But you decided to deface her to her own mother, no less, and a few extra friends to twist the knife a bit further? You're petty as hell, and you didn't even stoop down to …

Remember that I said to take every aspect of the criticism into consideration; first the source. If it's coming from a stuck-up cunt you ditched because she was crazy, then yes, filter that shit out and don't let it hit you. However, sometimes it can be helpful to hear what they have to say if they're calm and rational about it. There's a large difference between "You're an absolute bastard!" and a piece of legitimate criticism, like "You focus too much on money" or something of the sort. Rememb…

To me, this just looks like you're throwing petty insults at us. If you want to make a point, make it. You can keep the "You're a stupid scrub and you need to do something before it's too late" part, as long as you accompany it with something worthwhile, a takeaway, like "You're a scrub, but here's how not to be a scrub. Follow this, and you won't be a scrub anymore".

His bad experience with women might push him to want to not repeat that and, if he ever dates again, he'll want to go in prepared with the collective experience with everyone on /r/theredpill. That could be an attraction to TRP for him because he's going to avoid a messy relationship like the marriage at all costs, and if something can help him with making a relationship go smoothly, he's likely to take it. However, he's laid back and hates confrontation, so the two sides are pitted against each…

My brother, actually. He was talking about how it's a "meta", a compilation of social strategies to help when dealing with certain social situations, particularly ones with women, and how it was almost a psychology game, of sorts. However, I welcomed that idea because I was already opposed to the idea of marriage and being tied down to one person. My dad had already been married and divorced, so if he liked the idea of marriage and being tied down, and simply not playing the field, he might reac…

Yep, the thing is though, that I'm not sure how to introduce it to him so that he might make the choice to take it. I want to explain it in a way that would make him become interested, and for him to at least lurk on the sub a bit before choosing whether or not to walk the path.

I have a cat that acts more like a dog. It's clingy, but when I want to spend some time with it, it's nowhere to be found or just scampers off, but when it wants to spend time with me, I'm usually busy with something else. If I'm in a good mood, I give it a pat on the head. If it was actively avoiding me before, I sometimes just ignore it completely.

I never really thought about the possibility of it being scripted; I always just watched it at face value. Makes sense though, considering that Jerry wastes no time thinking about a clever response, contestants bring paraphernalia related to their baggage basically all the time, contestants having no problem answering a question instantaneously, the lack of emotional reaction when a contestant gets turned down and asked to leave, initial lack of expression on their faces when asked to claim thei…
