Some women assume that if you give everything you are weak. They keep demanding more ! My ex was laughing at me in court during trial as if she already won. Judge gave a stern warning and he awarded me everything in judgement ! Hope she didn’t laugh after that

Same here too ! Poetic justice

If your kid is older than 18, he/she can be emergency contact . I put my best friend as emergency contact until my son turned 18

Usually divorce is looked from woman’s view! Men are always at fault for divorce. They are very sympathetic towards women! We have to man up and have the courage . I agree but we lose all our emotional support system in the process which is sad ! We have to build friend circles , relationships and start over again ! Even I moved thousands of miles away from my ex to start over

Living in the past ! Playing victim mentality and constantly blaming and ignoring the child
/r/Divorce_Men08/08/24 05:54 AM

Agree! Your friend has good intentions since he has your interests so I would agree with him

I live in USA and I understand what you say since I am fighting in 2 countries but Indian laws are much worse
/r/Divorce_Men09/07/24 11:09 AM

Compared to India USA laws are better . Indian laws are in stone age

There is one percent chance that STBX agrees. there are some vexatious litigants. my ex wanted trash cans to be divided equally. I asked my lawyer trash cans with trash or without trash because she can't afford a 99 cent trash can!

Many women pursue money not the men
/r/Divorce_Men07/07/24 11:47 AM

Not true ! For example Indian laws were written 100 years ago by British ! Court uses outdated laws to award alimony ! Legal system needs to keep up with society
/r/Divorce_Men07/07/24 11:47 AM

True words ! Same thing happened to me ! I came stronger and brought my son single-handedly without any help !

Well said! Your title says it all. I am in 13th year of hell. Lawyer(s), multiple hired in every jurisdiction and higher courts were contacted too . As you said I play 2 moves ahead of her (calculating every move). Looks like we are brothers on this.

Lawyers are like fraternity. They stick together. The maximum you can do to file a complaint at the bar . It takes allot of effort to suspend a lawyer . If you go to bar to file a complaint, it will be difficult for to hire another lawyer next time . Just my 2 cents
/r/Divorce_Men03/01/24 12:27 AM
2

Also if you get a divorce in India in less than a decade you are lucky ! Also they file fictitious cases on foreigners ! Suppose an American citizen getting married to Indian , they get divorced in USA and file in India as well ! Court system is so messed up that people take advantage of you to rob you

Don’t marry again
/r/Divorce_Men23/07/23 04:21 PM

Agreed. My ex said the same thing before divorce. I am fighting my case in 2 countries for 12 years . She abandoned child and never met him in 12 years and I have full custody and parenting time
/r/Divorce_Men18/07/23 12:51 PM

I filed a protective order against my ex wife twice because she was violent . It was dismissed both times by female judges . Female judges have heavy bias against men !
/r/Divorce_Men05/07/23 06:29 PM
2

Agreed. I did extra work and other gigs to make money. I created LLC to register my new assets and all
/r/Divorce_Men19/06/23 09:44 AM
6

Agreed. Same thing happened with my ex too. I am happy and making 3 times more when I was married . My net worth increased exponentially too. So just get it done with and don’t get married again
/r/Divorce_Men13/06/23 01:02 PM

I moved out of state to totally avoid her ! No contact at all
/r/Divorce_Men14/05/23 11:03 PM

She doesn’t share her phone number or address. So I can’t send anything
/r/Divorce_Men13/05/23 12:32 PM

My ex is not in touch with our kid for last 12 years . Shall I send one to her ?

Agreed and we are ridiculed too
/r/Divorce_Men09/05/23 05:57 PM

In my case , female judge argued on behalf of my ex even without asking ! Women favor women and men favor women ! Who supports men ?

I think you haven’t been to family court in India. The laws are stacked against men. Anything woman says without evidence is truth and men have to defend

Amen! Shawshank redemption example is right on money ! Lived through it and still living through it

Divorce is not dancing to your wife’s tunes every moment of the day ! Divorce is having the freedoms to do what you want when you want where you want
/r/Divorce_Men25/02/23 03:42 PM
5

Court proceedings and most court records are public. It should be an eye opener for you. Good that your friend recommended it
/r/Divorce_Men21/02/23 03:55 PM
8

Sometimes even judges (both male and female) argue on behalf of women after seeing her “pathetic” condition. I have seen this quite a few times. My ex puts up a good show / drama on court and judges get convinced and argue on behalf of her ! This is the sad state for so called “weaker sex”
/r/Divorce_Men01/02/23 11:05 AM
3

India is not party to Hague convention. Once she takes kids to India , you can’t get them back unless you file a case in India . In indian court, cases take minimum 5-10 years. One of my friend is dealing with the case for 6 years there traveling every few months to India . Please Pm me if you need details
/r/Divorce_Men22/01/23 06:53 PM
3

Else she will ask for half or you have to give 2 tires and 2 doors to be precise
/r/Divorce_Men16/01/23 10:52 PM
3

Agreed on this ! I had female attorney too and she did very well on my case. Women can read women’s minds and it will be advantageous to men. My ex had a male attorney. He didn’t even know basic laws and dumb as f*k
/r/Divorce_Men01/01/23 12:06 PM

I agree but my ex is pursuing on multiple different courts for last 12 years even after divorce is finalized in usa
/r/Divorce_Men29/12/22 12:43 PM
11

True that
/r/Divorce_Men27/12/22 11:39 AM

Which country in south east Asia ? India is worse than usa in men’s rights . Nowadays women can do anything and every thing with men and scream “me too”. Courts will turn blind eye to women’s faults. Even we have to fight for our underwear after divorce
/r/Divorce_Men15/12/22 10:59 PM
7

Probably! But most women are same
/r/Divorce_Men15/12/22 07:21 PM
9

This is true and I am fighting my battles in 2 countries for last 12 years! She is a puppet on her dads hands ! US judges have thrown her out from court due to her lies
/r/Divorce_Men15/12/22 05:48 PM
12

Correct. India is one of the countries where another countries law or judgement is not enforced. My ex who is a us citizen went to India since our wedding was in India . She filed anothe case on false pretext that she is an Indian resident / citizen and harassing me from there for my properties in India
/r/Divorce_Men15/12/22 02:30 PM
6

Amen ! I had it enforced too
/r/Divorce_Men12/12/22 11:17 AM

Me too
/r/Divorce_Men17/11/22 10:54 AM

This is the worst stupid thing most men did including me. We are super nice to woman and they f*ck us after divorce royally
/r/Divorce_Men10/11/22 09:02 AM
1

You are lucky. I am divorced for 11 years and still dealing with her bullying. I got a restraining order and she got it canceled by a feminist judge. I moved 4 states and changed address, phone numbers but she is still continuing
/r/Divorce_Men09/11/22 07:53 PM
1

Me ex said goodbye to our kid during divorce permanently and said welcome to money
/r/Divorce_Men01/11/22 08:31 AM
3

India and Pakistan are also no better nowadays. They copy all western culture ( bad things). So divorce is pretty common. Indian laws are skewed towards women. It is easy to navigate Indian court system if you are a woman. You can easily lock a guy in prison just with domestic abuse , no proof is required. Burden of proof is on man .
/r/Divorce_Men01/11/22 08:14 AM
3

Never marry or have super tight prenup
/r/Divorce_Men23/10/22 07:48 PM
2

Agreed. My ex was screwed by the judge because of her lies. After judgement she came to me waiving alimony for exchange of child support.
/r/Divorce_Men22/10/22 10:53 AM
1

Agreed! I was giving hypothetical example if she comes after him
/r/Divorce_Men17/10/22 10:51 PM
1

Agreed! If you get stressed out due to marriage and become sick, can she take half of the pain from you ?
/r/Divorce_Men17/10/22 10:38 PM
3

They will try all different tactics. You hold your horse tight and truth will triumph! Keep your evidence and mouth shut to even your close friends and buddies ! You can’t trust anyone during divorce! Lessons learnt in hard way
/r/Divorce_Men16/10/22 11:49 PM
3

If your ex don’t speak badly about you , either she is insane or you are equal to Gandhi! Both are not possible in this world
/r/Divorce_Men16/10/22 09:31 PM
6

True ! I am divorced for 11 years . I made peace but my ex never let it go. She continues to harass me emotionally and financially
/r/Divorce_Men14/10/22 10:58 PM
1

Please check whether this attorney has conflict of interest
/r/Divorce_Men13/10/22 12:19 AM

Be financially and emotionally prepared. You will see dark side of your spouse after divorce. Have as much evidence for the things (financial) because your STBX will go after each and every penny she didn’t earn and thinks she deserve it
/r/Divorce_Men09/10/22 09:09 PM
1

Good advice mate ! I should have followed all these
/r/Divorce_Men03/10/22 04:02 PM
2

You can’t read others minds. My ex visits her nephew in Canada frequently whereas she turned her face against our own son when she ran into him outside . These people are not worth talking about . Karma is a bitch which will take care of them . Just move on and live your life
/r/Divorce_Men02/10/22 07:03 PM
1

Use this as an opportunity to start a new life. Me and my son are doing much better after she left. Sometimes you have to live on your own terms ! You don’t owe the world or others anything
/r/Divorce_Men02/10/22 07:00 PM
1

There are some bipolar or psychological issues. My ex used to be like that . When she is with her parents , she hated me like anything due to their influence. Else she was normal. She left me and our only child for them. There are certain woman who are born like that . It is not unusual
/r/Divorce_Men02/10/22 06:48 PM
2

Go to another country which is not part of Hague convention
/r/Divorce_Men30/09/22 10:24 PM
1

Sometimes I wish why I didn’t take birth as female ! They have all advantages in the world
/r/Divorce_Men18/09/22 11:44 PM
1

I made 10x times more than my ex and I had full parenting time and custody of my child. My ex didn’t pay a single dime on child support . Family court was okay with that
/r/Divorce_Men02/09/22 09:46 AM
3

Agreed 100%
/r/Divorce_Men28/08/22 07:53 PM

Completely agree
/r/Divorce_Men25/08/22 03:58 PM

Wife was abandoned by her parents when she was young and she was raised by her grand parents. She abandoned our child too before and after divorce
/r/Divorce_Men10/08/22 06:36 PM

My ex was very organized at home
/r/Divorce_Men01/08/22 01:06 AM

Of course I do.I stay faraway from them
/r/Divorce_Men30/07/22 09:53 AM

Yes. Woman power. Ganging up against men. New form of feminism. My ex abandoned my child and she didn’t contact him for last 11 years. All my relatives aligned with her and feed her all information during and after divorce
/r/Divorce_Men29/07/22 02:58 PM

He is 19 and an adult
/r/Divorce_Men09/07/22 07:24 PM

Same. He lives with me
/r/Divorce_Men09/07/22 02:52 PM
1

Same petition was submitted by my son and there was no evidence. His was approved by a male Judge .
/r/Divorce_Men09/07/22 01:19 PM
3

You don’t know full story dude. My ex didn’t see my son even one time in last 11 years voluntarily. Not a single phone call from her even for his birthday. She ignored him when he ran into her in a mall. Do you think I am separating her from her child. She is capable for hiring a person to kill my son if someone says they will pay her million dollar . You don’t know me or my ex
/r/Divorce_Men09/07/22 12:45 AM
1

Totally agreed. Male feminist are more dangerous than female feminist
/r/Divorce_Men09/07/22 12:41 AM
4

I submitted evidence which judge has ignored conveniently. She didn’t have any evidence . I hope you are not one of those fake male feminist
/r/Divorce_Men09/07/22 12:26 AM
4

What do you mean? Female judges can favor their sex. Is that correct?
/r/Divorce_Men09/07/22 12:22 AM

We have to give the reason. Process server costed $135
/r/Divorce_Men25/06/22 04:53 PM

Just went to the online system for filing the order and called 800 number. They got me on the calendar same day and issued the order. But my ex dodged me from getting served . Then hired a private server to serve. He served after few attempts. Now she is trying to get it revoked
/r/Divorce_Men25/06/22 04:28 PM

My ex is a drama queen. She puts a good makeup in front of everyone else. That is why I am worried. She has physically abused when we were married but it was long time ago. She kept verbally abusing since I moved away from her. Me and my son who is 19 are worried about our safety

I have few properties in India . That is the reason she is suing and after those in India . Most women are after money. My ex is a gold digger
/r/Divorce_Men21/06/22 03:12 PM
5

My ex is in her mid-40s. She is still controlled by her parents. In Indian society, these type of women are called "Daddy's princess". They can't do anything without their parents blessings. They are more or less remote controlled robots. The parents also don't understand that their "children" are now "adult" and it is their choice to live their way. At the end, we (Men/husbands) have to suffer and the (daughters/wife) never understand that their life is destroyed by their own parents! Unless th…

If it can be done without issues , paralegals are good choice for just paperwork. If it gets complicated and high conflict, top notch lawyers are needed
/r/Divorce_Men19/06/22 09:43 AM

Please try paralegal to help before going to lawyer
/r/Divorce_Men18/06/22 01:26 AM

They will not go above and beyond
/r/Divorce_Men16/06/22 10:45 PM

She works in state mental hospital. Security doesn’t allow sheriff or private server inside
/r/Divorce_Men15/06/22 09:29 PM

Thanks ! That is my alternate plan. It involves time and money unnecessarily
/r/Divorce_Men15/06/22 01:19 PM

That sounds like a great idea
/r/Divorce_Men14/06/22 11:15 PM

She works in government hospital and security is not allowing server inside. I don’t know her schedule. Is there any other option
/r/Divorce_Men14/06/22 11:11 PM
