If you're really looking for just a girlfriend then i wouldn't worry about any of this pick up stuff and especially r/seduction. A lot of guys (i was this way when i started) think that masculinity is all about how many girls you've fucked. As a result, when i first started, i hooked up with girls that i wasn't into and discovered, like you, that it was a shallow, hollow pursuit. Meetings the right girls is way more satisfying than meeting lots of girls that you don't really like. Masculinity ha…

That's a huge first step. You will be really surprised how quickly your results improve after you've gained the balls to just talk to them. Good luck.

I think you hit the nail on the head; "More people in need of help than in a position to help". If you're getting something positive out of this sub, then I'd say keep reading, but be careful. I read r/seduction for close to a year, and saw very little progress (although i think all noobies will see very little progress that first year) and one day decided "fuck it" if i'm not progressing whats the point of reading this shit, and unsubscribed. As soon as i did that my results started racking up.

I have met a handful of girls through my social circle over the last 3 years. Maybe 25% of the girls I've slept with have been through my social circle. Its worth noting that girls were NEVER interested in me before i got the balls to do cold approach. When you start walking up to cute girls in the middle of the day totally sober, you'll start treating the other women in your life differently and they'll start to be attracted to you. I've had girls that I've know for 6 or 7 years tell me they di…

Glad you enjoyed it, I can definitely elaborate on what i mean. A lot of what I'm about to say might not immediately make sense, but if you make an effort to notice what I'm talking about I promise you'll find it. Basically what it boils down to is, there are two components to having an emotion. 1) You feel the emotion physically in your body. So when you walk up to an incredibly beautiful girl with the intention of chatting her up and she immediately and harshly rejects you, what happens? If yo…

Hey man, i was also a fat kid! And that was a huge reason i had low self esteem in the first place. Got shut down by the first 5 or 6 girls i ever tried to date and kinda just stopped trying. When i was 18 i started cycling and dropped close to 100lbs, i expected girls to be crawling all over me. It did make it a little easier to meet girls, but yes, you've discovered a very fundemental truth about women; they don't really care that much about what you look like, its way more about how you act. …

I answered why i think r/seduction is a bad resource in an earlier comment to u/chip-tha-ripper, check that out. By going out i simply mean leaving your house, going to somewhere there are cute girls, and practicing chatting them up. Grocery stores, book stores, malls, etc are great for day time, and bars are great for night time. I go out during the day mostly because I like to keep a decent sleep schedule, but every once in a while i will go to a bar and have a few drinks, if you regularly go …

Well don't worry about his new stuff then. A big part of personal growth is taking what works and applying it, and discarding what doesn't. A lot of the stuff he's done in the last 2 years is kinda weird, but two weeks ago he brought back yo Elliot and I've been really stoked about the newer vids.

Not all of the girls I've hooked up with have been "cold", a few of them have been through my social circle, but girls never used to be interested in me until i started doing the approaches. Even if you never hook up with a girl from cold approach, just the fact that you grow the balls to actually do it will change how you act around women in your social circle and will tend to attract them. I've had some girls that I've been friends with for a while tell me they can tell I've really grown in th…

I'm by no means an authority on long term relationships. The longest one i've ever been in was a year and a half and that was the girl who dumped me three years ago, but what i do believe is that a woman wants a man. If you're on your purpose, if you're bold and brave, then you will hold a woman's attraction for a long time. So in that sense, yes this stuff is crucial for longer relationships. Check out a book called "The Way Of The Superior Man" by David Deida. This is an incredibly important b…

I can honestly say i almost never give a fuck about a girls reaction. Sometimes if i was really attracted to the girl or if i genuinely liked a girl i will be a little bummed or embarrassed if she shuts me down, but the beautiful thing is, as soon as i go chat up a different girl i forget all about the one i was bummed about. That's another important lesson i learned, if you're ruminating on embarrassment, the easiest way to forget about it is to go out and get embarrassed by someone else, i GUA…

As far as over all improvement path, i really think its very much like lifting weights. You will see drastic improvement very quickly, and then it will taper off. You will reach plateaus that may last a couple of weeks to maybe a couple of months. Over all, think of this as evolving over the time period of years. Don't measure your progress in weeks. Also, its not a linear growth trend. So for example, i think it took me close to 3 months of asking at least 5 people a day for the time before i w…

I can comfortably walk up to a girl I'm attracted to and chat her up, make both of us feel good, get her number, and occasionally get her to go out with me. In the past 3 years I've slept with 19 new women. Tonight I'm going for drinks with a girl who seems super into me so maybe tomorrow I can say I've hooked up with 20. Honestly I don't think the # matters that much, and 20 girls in 3 years is almost nothing for some guys, but a lot of the girls I've met have been gorgeous awesome girls that I…

Do you generally do direct openers or indirect? Obviously I've only been really approaching for a week so I probably need to just give it more time and feel it out for myself, but I've been doing almost exclusively direct and honest. Basically telling them I was inclined to approach because i thought they were cute/liked their hair/etc. Clearly there wont be a magic pill that works every time but part of me wonders if direct isn't the best way to go.

Lol. I wish more people were like you, I'd have a lot less competition. What does gaming as a full time job even mean if all you're doing is "people watching"? You sound like a bitter chode.

Do you generally only day game? Do you find a lot of flakes? Do you feel like your game has improved? By the last question I don't mean the ease of approaching, but actually getting the chick to think "damn I want to fuck this guy". Mark Manson describes "game" as being able to convert a "neutral" girl to a "receptive" girl One thing I've noticed and am trying to work on is when the interaction is simply friendly and doesn't seem to go anywhere. It usually happens when its girls I'm actually int…

I don't think that sounds dumb. My work is very social and I have to talk in front of a group a few times a week. I also have lots of one on one interactions for extended periods of time at work so I feel like I get the best of both worlds. For me, being more social in general is definitely part if the goal, but mostly focusing in women because that's where my weak points are.

Yeah I totally get that but there are different levels of anxiety. I was at the point where I COULDNT approach due to my anxiety. Now my anxiety is more of an excitement but the original reply made it seem as though the OP went back to feeling unable to approach

Yeah I do have to say I feel its worth it. I have done lots of fulfilling things in my life, but taming my fears of being open with women has made me feel so good. The average approach doesn't feel like I'm trying hard, it just feels like normal social interaction.

I actually cut off all of my fuck buddies recently. Two of them moved away and the other two just weren't exciting me anymore. I figured as long as I had a fuck buddy to fall back on it would make it harder for me to justify approaching. So I'm starting the roster over. Currently I have one chick on the roster; tall blonde. Edit. As I mentioned, all of the girls I hooked up with prior to last week we're from school or my social circle. I was essentially applying principles of pick up without the…

Also, if a girl smiles at you, it REALLY doesn't matter what you say. I've been approaching girls that didn't notice me as well as ones that give me a smile or glance. The ones that smile are always flattered to the point of blushing when I approach. Those are the best. They're kind of rare for me during day game. More common at night.

I just say "hey excuse me, what's you're name?" And then they generally tell me and as me mine, I say "I'm guaco, I saw you walk in and I thought you were cute, I wanted to introduce myself" nothing fancy. Keep in mind it will never go exactly as planned and it rarelt sounds exactly like that. I've really come to believe the first 5 seconds aren't a big deal at all. Just get attention and start talking you'll do the rest on auto pilot

I'm 24. And I'm not gonna lie, I'm spoiled. I live in a little college town with a beautiful river running through it right outside of Austin Tx. There's a never ending supply of gorgeous women. I was crazy to wait this long. I'll day game any where. I try to just do it any chance I get. Coffee shops, the river, girls on campus. I'm getting my masters and I work on campus so sometimes I'll just do an approach on a 15 minute break then go back to work
/r/seduction15/06/15 03:50 AM

Sometimes I'll kinda mess with them and some time ill just walk off. One girl wouldn't look at me and I just got really stern and was like "Hey. I'm a human being talking to you. Use some manners and respond to me." And when I've done that the girls usually respond positively, oddly enough.

Its not so much what they say but how they act. I walked up to one girl who wouldn't even look at me. My openers are usually pretty straight forward "hey I'm guaco, whats you're name?" Its just funny to think of a situation where someone introduces themselves in a human to human interaction and one of them literally won't acknowledge the other. It just seems so absurd, haha. Then on the other hand sometimes its funny when I fuck it up with a girl that actually kind of seemed into me. Last night …

To answer your question; I don't feel better because Im chatting girls, I feel better because its something I've always been scared to do and I feel like im finally overcoming that fear. It makes me feel more complete and confident. But yeah I feel you in terms of the paradox of spending so much time getting better with girls amd wondering if its worth it. Edit: just to give credit where it is due, I got the burning it to the ground idea from Owen from RSD.

Yeah man, that's also kinda what i was thinking too, but like i said in the moment i was pretty damn nervous. Next time! I live in a college town so there is no shortage of sexy blondes. Great post. I've been going through a similar evolution and I think this post will help me. I think direct day game is so much more fulfilling and in some ways i think it takes a lot of the pressure off. I find two things are still really lacking for me; giving direct compliments, and kino. I'm a much bigger fan of day game then night game for a number of reasons. I don't drink that much and my lifestyle requires me to stick to a pretty reasonable sleep schedule. Plus, i just think its so much more impressive than night game. Its like, yeah i could go out and get drunk and approach all night, but is that really me doing all of the work? To each his own. If you have the time, i'd like to hear about your actual gaming. Where are some of your favorite day game spots?

I think he's suggesting that dating websites are a crutch. By resorting to dating websites you're missing out on a crucial aspect to this whole entire idea of seduction, and that's the approach. Ultimately it may get you a relationship, but it may not make you the man you want to be. Keep in mind this is only my experience and opinion. Obviously everybody is different.

Some people got offended by what i wrote. Let me clarify; she was a good girl at heart. I often wonder what would have happened with our relationship if her ex hadn't died within the first month. In the end we both loved each other but because of her emotional state for about 7 months after his death we just couldn't reconcile things. I wish i had waited and maybe things would have turned out better.
/r/seduction23/05/14 03:59 PM

I'm not advocating being cruel, but i would just do it differently if i could do it over. I would have told her i didn't think it was a good idea to get emotionally involved with somebody who is going through so much. In the end it wound up just being an incredibly toxic relationship that I kind of regret in a lot of ways. I'm not suggesting she's a leaper or that there's only one way to handle a situation.

It could go many ways, but i just don't think somebody should be in a relationship with someone else when they are in that kind of emotional state.

I started dating a gorgeous girl about 2 years ago. Everything was great. It was my first "real" relationship, and by that i mean, the first girl that i was TRULY proud to say that I had picked up. A month into the relationship her ex boyfriend overdosed on opiates and died. The next 9 months was fucking miserable because of her emotional baggage. I would stay far away from this girl, if what she says is true.

Agree with this. Lots of girls only show their faces. I tend to assume the ones who don't show their body are probably on the porky side.. to each their own, but I'm more into the fit kind of girl.

I think tinder is hit or miss. You can definitely meet some cute girls, but keep in mind, the rules change a little bit. It's not like flirting with a girl in person. If you have good text game and there's a lot of good looking women in your area I'd say it's a pretty decent resource. I've been told I'm an attractive guy, I play in a band and have some cool high action show-shots as my pictures and I get a good amount of matches, but I havent actually hooked up with any of them. Try not to stress about it when yall start making out. A lot of hooking up is just being comfortable in the way you touch your girl. If everything feels good and natural then you're probably already doing better than 85% of guys. Ive had sex a gazillion times and I still fumble around sometimes when I'm putting my dick in a girl. Good post. Interesting idea that we are engineered to do it effortlessly. Ive been thinking a lot lately of the PUA paradox; once people actually figure it out, they realize that trying to quantify every little detail of the night is NOT how you pick up women, they stop seeking advice from the pick up community. So you have these people that figured it out, but they cant really explain the secret except to say "its mental". Not to mention, people who are successful don't usually stick around to …

Just forget about her and meet a new girl. Keep an eye on it if you want but if you're waiting around for them to break up you're missing out on valuable time that could be spent with someone way cooler/sexier.

Absolutely, I feel the same way about the petty fights thing. Among many other aspects of relationships. If its not right, I'm ending it. I've come a long way since the ex I was referring to but at that point I wasn't great with women and I had low self confidence. Now that I've improved on my interactions with women I almost wonder if I'm being TOO picky.. I just have never met a girl to this day that lives up to my expectations so I wind up moving on to the next.

As someone already said, some of this is douchey, but thinking about it in terms of my last relationship it is spot on. Douchery sometimes works. There are plenty of times when I should have completely blown of my ex when she was being a controlling bitch. Instead I was the needy bitch who apologized for getting upset about the fucked up shit SHE did. I'm not proud of how I was in that relationship, but I can certainly learn from it.

Have you taken it before? Acid is great but only when you're comfortable in your surroundings and the people you're with. If you can find a good concert to go to I think that's your best bet. Next time make the move faster. 3 dates is taking too long. I'd say the second date is the longest you should wait, and that's ONLY if there's ZERO good opportunity to make a move on the first (a lot of people would say you just have to make a good opportunity). Any man who thinks there is a 'universal law' concerning the personality traits of another human being is an idiot. It's crazy to take this list as absolute fact and there are definitely men who go out looking to actually get to know a girl and what she likes as he's picking her up, not just following a to-do list. Where's the fun in that??

The 'take charge' I saw in these videos was just simply saying "fuck it" and talking a girl up. The more I practice seduction the more I really believe in it. Not in a cookie cutter method of seduction, but in a "these-are-simple-truths-about-human-nature-that-can-be-exploited" kind of way. If there's one thing I can believe in, it's science!

haha, holy brad pitts! True, but there are quite a few others I didn't link to where non-brad-Pitts were involved. Approach is definitely my weak point but I've noticed in other parts of hook ups that women generally respond very well to a take charge attitude, and in my humble, somewhat scholarly opinion I think it's dictated by our biology. Billions of years of evolution couldn't be wrong, right?
