It hasn't been developed at all. I paid the taxes from my paycheck, but they only amount to $60 (sixty dollars) per year. My parents have lived there since 1958, and I lived there my entire childhood. It means a LOT to me, so I don't want to sell it outside my family. If I sold it to my brother or parents really quickly (before the divorce filing) would I get in trouble?

Thanks for taking the time to respond . It's hard to see how the fight will be worth it, but you're right. I have to think and act strategically, not like the doormat I've been for so long. It's hard because I still care for her and don't want her to suffer. I guess that makes me an idiot.

Thanks for the advice... I'm not a very combative person, and I tend to just give in for the sake of keeping the peace. I'm starting to see that attitude has and will royally screw me. It's just so hard to see someone who has been my partner for 25 years as an enemy!

Not a troll account, just a sucker I guess. I'm not sure why I stayed when she cheated. Partly it was religious obligation to stay married, partly it was guilt over my financial infidelity, and partly it was wanting to keep my 4 kids in a "stable" home.
