So despite the challenges the true answer is to just try to put yourself out there as much as you can. Throw yourself into social situations if you have to? Alt types of people are dating so it really doesn’t matter what you look like as long as you’re well groomed, have excellent hygiene, not a trash person and willing to have a good personality?

Not even for casual sex?

So from what you said , if hookup culture isn’t prominent and people aren’t having as many one night stands as perceived, but on the flip side only 15% of young men are sexless where is all that sexual activity coming from?

Thanks for that statistic but the rates are heavily skewed by Gen z men. Sexlessness is at about 30% for Gen z men. Gen z women on the other hand there sexless increased only about 2%? (If I remember correctly I’m gonna try to find the stat and edit this comment in a second) https://www.psychologytoday.com/intl/blog/the-state-of-our-unions/202302/why-are-so-many-young-men-single-and-sexless

A side note: I'm not saying guys need to be comfortable with being settled for. I don't think anyone wants to be settled for. this is unfortunately how dating works in the present time at least in the US

Yeah I can agree that when applied to serious relationships/ marriage 80/20 does not hold true at all. But even in casual sex situations or one night stands you don’t think that it’s the top percent of guys having much more hookups with most of the women?

Thanks for the clarification. I’ll take not to do a better research job and find more recent articles in the future. I have one side question if you don’t mind. I do not know much about r/purplepilldebate. Is the incel space you’re referring to r/purplepilldebate?

63% of men are single while most young women are not The Social Organization of Sexuality: Sexual Practices in the United States," provides comprehensive insights into sexual behavior. It reveals that about 20% of men account for most of the sexual encounters reported A small percentage of men reported very high numbers of partners, significantly influencing the overall average. I'm not saying that the 80/20 rule applies to serious dating and relationships because once younger women are done hoo…

Yes, I don’t go for the conventionally attractive anyways, I usually pay attention to ones I find subjectively attractive the problem is finding them

Hes probably not trying at all then. In modern dating in the US, that's all you need to have as a guy to date. tell him to be more social

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
