Good luck making that decision! If you want, please share how it went!

I recognize the situations and have escalated thinks mid last year. I told her we’ve got disconnected and told her we were done, unless we went into therapy. And that’s where we are now. We’ve had a few sessions and I do not see a single change, nor any attempt. I’m getting closer and closer to a point where this does not make sense anymore……but how to recognize where that point exactly is?

Thanks. I have notes even though ive always felt ashamed making them. Writing them make me feel like a traitor, even when I know they are just for me, dumping my thoughts most of the times. I hope it won’t come to a conflict separation as we both acknowledge the relation of far from perfect. I’m some steps ahead of her I think, and it will be such a tough message, with such an impact, that I’m scared of even thinking about it. Still I notice my brain is taking me more and more to that point. Eno…

Sorry for this to happen to you. I feel your mental ache and disappointment after that boom.

True. And god knows how hard I worked to make this relationship work. It will always be needed but sometimes the fundamental seems bad and up for a new, better aligned start.

Yeah. My point is that I’m wondering if I’m going to really be in there myself. I may just draw a conclusion that this is not going to won anyways, and I don’t see a future together. Right now, all I can think is that I wanna get out of here…..

I’ve been trying to get to that point in a conversation but she prefers to keep that type of topic for the sessions. And I respect that so I’m patient. I do know what I want and I’m curious if she will understand and will be able to change from the past and allow us to be equal in our relationship. If not, I’m going to draw a conclusion.

Yeah. But it seems like whenever I try to make my points they get pushed back to me as my own faults and I should do better (when I try to discuss things) or ignored and declined (when I try to steer our activities to also incorporate things that I prefer). Seems she’s on a one way track and doesn’t want to change from how things were for years.

I’ll check with the therapist how to balance my curiousness and the therapy plan. I’ll definitely be keen on the progression and if my wife’s answers are going the direction I favor. I’m done with choosing others above myself.

I’m not from the US and not sure what you mean with Half the term, or what that means on consequences. Wanna elaborate a bit?

Same here. Nothing in 21 years……you only realize afterwards

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
