I want to add that disagreeing with you is probably an obvious reaction- yelling and screaming at you while turning red is downright abusive. Especially in the place you live. Getting your insisted hooked on drugs is not a loving behavior. Admitting to your mistakes, especially in front of a bunch of strangers is BRAVE. You have acknowledged your mistakes, but it looks like they don't want to acknowledge their issues. Tearing you down instead of looking at themselves and how they can improve is …

So true! I'm glad to see more of these types of posts today. I got the new flair of pickmeisha for suggesting we not tear each other down (on a post from an admin., apparently).

I didnt misunderstand. Im saying that a man giving oral to his partner when he's not in the mood is not the same as the very too often norm that women experience, which is unfulfillment during sex (unless, a lot of times, they specifically have to request to finish). Im saying that even suggesting as such is just more proof of how society equates. I dont disagree that high value male finds his partner's pleasure important, and never debated that.

Theres literally nothing wrong with enjoying sexually pleasing your partner. I would agree with her statement, giving oral heightens my arousal as much as receiving. However, I would refuse 1 sided sex/sex play.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/11/20 04:52 PM

To your first example- But what if he is in the mood? There are certainly times when they will do things if you ask or if they think it may get them closer to sex. This is not what im talking about. Im talking about the systemic priority of male sexual pleasure over their female counterparts. Here you are defending, and you dont even see this isn't apples to apples comparison. The comparison of a man not in the mood juxtaposed with a woman actively participating in sex and wanting to orgasm as w…

Right?! Like if a guy wanted to have sex and I said will you just eat me out instead, and then rolled over and went to sleep?! Could you imagine? It wouldn't even OCCUR to me to do something so selfish, but men do that shit all the time. I can't tell you how often I've had sexual encounters where the men finish (maybe apologize for finishing before me) but then they're like ok my job here is done. Um. No? They would flip their lid if we finished before them and were just like oh better luck next…

Agreed. Even if none of those things were true, its still HER name. She has a lot of good reasons to keep her last name, but she really doesn't need these "excuses". When she took on that last name it became her last name. Im divorced and dont want to go back to my maiden name. That's not who I am anymore. I no longer identify with that name. I hope she's getting good advice.

Tbh, I hate this kind of stuff. It suggests that those of us who are single are flawed somehow and now worthy of a relationship "yet," until we've fixed ourselves. Bettering yourself and growing as a person should be a priority, single or not. I know plenty of people in relationships that are far from perfect. There are some points to this post I agree with, but im sick of hearing people say single people need to wOrK oN tHeMsElVeS. As if being in a relationship somehow concludes you have made i…

A "friend" at work straight up asked what was my biggest flaw, and i said I get my feelings hurt too easily. She started making fun of me and talking in baby voice "oh, does that hurt your feewings?" And I was like. Well, yeah. I think i just said that was a problem of mine, but thanks for rubbing it in. Fucking BITCH. It is a great a idea to see how a potential mate will take your weakness. OH MY GOD. WHAT is with men? I was talking to a guy for a while. He seemed so cool and sweet. His ex came up in conversation and he into long detail about his past relationship with her. After he was done it felt right to share similarities I had with ny ex husband, to commiserate. No. He straight up stopped me and was like I dont need to know your past, that's your journey and you can keep it to yourself (in those basic words, this was years ago). I absolutely was like welp. This is SO spot on. I was starting to think something was wrong with me, because i feel like every man I've been in a serious relationship with has been a gaslighter. And there can't POSSIBLY be that many narcissists out there! But it makes sense, you don't have to be a narcissist to gaslight, and i agree, most men do use this tactic 100%.

I really love her voice over and the stretches. I find it a little off-putting how she seems to be trying to be "sexy," like she's actually playing to the men? And i dont mean that she has natural sex appeal, but she does seem to be intentionally making effort to be sexy. Like. Why? Can't we just stretch as women and not be a sex object?

Came here to say this 😄 the pics are great. But thr character doesn't actually reflect this meme. Her tuxedo mask treated her like shit and she stuck around and it turned out he was just trying not to hurt her or some shit, WHICH IS NEVER THR CASE. You are the rule, not the exception. If your dude is treating you like shit, its bc he doesn't respect you and doesn't love you, periodt.

My guess is he had an "in-person" date, so a virtual one took lower priority. I also LOVE how he blames you for all the issues and then TELLS you yall will have a date tomorrow. I'm sorry, what? You can ask for another date, but please don't assume. But basically, his behavior afterward, being on the defensive and trying to make you feel guilty and out to be the bad guy makes me think he's hiding something and wasn't just "napping. "

Even regardless of the age of the women (which is it's own topic, but I think less important), no partner should be discussing other women as sex objects, especially in front of their SO. I mean, if the woman he was saying was "really hot" was in her 20's, would it still be a question of if this is appropriate? This feels like emotional abuse. Get rid of him.

I needed to see this today. I feel like a fool. I feel like I'll never be loved and wanted. I wasted a year of my life to someone that thinks of me as a sex doll and I'm just now figuring it out. Ive been in denial for too long. And they are so low value. I feel so ashamed. The sad part is, he must pity me bc he finally basically admitted it. I feel so worthless.

Also, that survival rate doesn't include if a cancer had spread or grown. It's based off original dx. The figures poster is using isnt relative to this situation, as we don't know the technicalities of his dx. Plus. Who gives a fuck. He had cancer. He died. Your extrapolation of survival rates literally means nothing at this point?

Yep, everything seemed ok until the huge dog sitting favor and those comments. Why didn't he have a plan gor his dog?! He knew he was going out of town, its an ANNUAL THING! I dont blame OP for agreeing to help. I think the poster above hit the major points, so im just going to leave a side-note, r/truerateme is GARBAGE. I had to look, and full 10s are getting 5-8?! WHAT?! It's definitely incel garbage. Never look at that sub again. Plus, I know we all want to be validated by our looks, but being a 10 is more than how you look. While they (and when i say they, really only 1 person admitted this) admit it was wrong for him to do, it kills their vibe if there's any animosity going on. So i have to pretend nothing ever happened or basically dont show up. And since the dude that left me can put it behind him and pretend nothing happened, i should be able to as well... it's insanity.

I tend to agree. It's seen through the experience of men, but the message of "you weren't born to be a job that doesn't directly affect your life of happiness, such that might be that case in a tribalistic community" hits home to me.

Oh, man. You're so right. I was just thinking about this the other day. At first watch, I commiserated with the nice guy character, but never bought into Summer being "the bad guy." You aren't obligated to fall in love with ANYONE. Sometimes it just doesn't work out. I thought it was a "meh" movie, but I didnt understand the full context until much later.

I agree somewhat agree. I, personally, DO want dates. But with a high value male. Which seems fewer and far between, especially as one ages. Reminds me of the post where a man was saying he wouldn't date a woman who wouldn't give it up bc she's a prude (after 3 dates I think?), but if a woman had sex with him too early (probs 3 dates in), she clearly had no self respect so he would dump her afterward.

Oh yeah. Should have been a giant red flag when the man i was dating (and eventually married and divorced) would get mad when i would playfully slap him on the arm or something and he would hit me back with much more force, in a not so playful manner. I agree. I feel like if we're months into dating and not moving toward a relationship/exclusivity then I'm not wasting my time anymore, anyway. Now, in the first couple conversations or first date 🤮 absolute red flag. Instead of becoming familiar with each other, they're trying to feign familiarity so they can cross boundaries.

Encountered some interesting profiles today, myself. One man described himself as charming, and another described himself as physically attractive. Why would you put either of those things in your profile? Either I can see you're attractive, or I will find you charming. Having to TELL me is a definite left swipe. Edit: typos

I think ive been doing this all wrong. I actually dont like when a man picks the date, time and place. To me, it suggests he thinks i have no opinion or just he knows better. But I agree with the reasoning behind it, and absolutely accept when a man makes suggestions and asks for my feedback. That really is my personal preference. However, if he does suggest date, place, time, i would be more accepting of it now, you dont have to always agree to their suggestions.

This, and considering his hobbies include sleeping and playing WOW, I imagine he isn't the fittest either? Why is it women are expected to remain models while men have their beer guts? Everything you've listed is such a major red flag. You aren't guilty of ableism but of enableism. Stop catering to this "man"! Why are you preaching for women to not fall into your circumstance? Because you DON'T HAVE TO BE IN IT. WHY ARE YOU STILL THERE? Why is he still there? Kick out the scrote, sis. His disabi…

Exactly. Like, even if they are seemingly healthy in their relationship communication, its probably just a different type of manipulation keeping you unawares of something else just more nefarious.

The sad part is, I find it hard to believe a relationship where this isn't the case. I think I've lost all hope in healthy relationships.

For sure havent made a response to him and wont. You're right, no one is mind reader in online dating. My point is that I dont like when they ask too soon, but at the same time I dont want them asking too late, and I think it isn't realistic to expect anyone to have perfect timing. But regardless, you're right, I shouldn't have left hints like that.

It's one thing to enjoy quality time playing video games. I actually enjoy watching my friends play games even if I'm not playing (depending on the game, usually scary ones). But this post feels too much like she's trying to convince HERSELF she's happy with this arrangement. If this is something you are actual content with and think is normal and acceptable, why would you even think to post about it?

I'm interested in other opinions. I was chatting back and forth with someone on a dating app, the conversation seemed to flow and he seemed interested. I mentioned I didnt know if anything was open but I was free this week (in reference to my custody schedule), along the lines of we could meet up (i really hate endless chatter but I know some guys get burned on asking out a girl too fast with online dating). He said he would like that. And now not another peep? I'm turned off if a guy asks me ou…

For sure, if they don't also ask me questions I just stop trying to keep the convo going. Sometimes, when I'm sure they won't come around on their own, I also mention. "You know, you should ask me questions too. It's how conversations work." But then I decided I didn't want to help them fake out the next woman, so I stopped giving them hints on how to be a decent human.

When I was married to my asshole husband, we never had sex. First it started off with his porn addiction. Then it was because I didn't feel safe/comfortable being vulnerable with him and I just plain didn't want to fuck someone that treated me like shit. Lots of gaslighting, etc. One day, we were talking about it. And I plain said, "I dont want to have sex with someone that treats me like shit. Maybe if you treated me better and were actually nice to me, I would feel comfortable having sex!" To …

Nah, man. If a dude doesn't touch base the day of, especially when you are trying to confirm, I absolutely ghost. What do your friends expect? To have shown up at the place, wait 15 minutes, and then just hang around for several hours bc he has more pressing matters than you?! This is the first date/meetup. He should be putting his best foot forward. If this is his best foot, girrrrrrl you don't want to see the shit he pulls after dating 3 months. If someone flakes the day of, blocked. Unless yo…
