This is not a good thing.

It's not about how much money we have. As long as your basic needs are met, that's a win. For me, it's waking up every morning knowing that I won't be cussed out, antagonized, or treated like a child by someone who was supposed to love me. She sends me some random annoying posts about once a month trying to start shit and I reply, "Enjoy life."

You cheated on her. You are asking for the divorce. You describe her as manipulative. Her idea of no strings sex is to nail your balls to the wall. Think with the big brain and not the little one. She's setting you up.

Are you wanting to be a man whore and sleep with anything that moves or would you rather wait and find a long-term relationship?

I'm sure she went out of her way to brag about the fiance and promotion. She was doing that to harm you. Focus on yourself and get your health and self-confidence back. If it requires moving back overseas, then good luck on your journey.

It's hard, but it does get better. Getting to choose my preferences for groceries and supplies is nice. I don't hear "Why that brand of detergent, we always get the floral brand." Not fighting on what shows to watch. No Kardashians or Bachelor in my house!

Call me cynical, but you overlook one thing. As great as your friend seems, you don't know what went on behind closed doors. Despite him supposedly being Mr. Awesome, she felt something was lacking, or perhaps something your friend said or did was enough to justify her actions.

Now she has a crappy job, crappy house, crappy boyfriend, etc. I wouldn't call a counselor or therapist a crappy job. Just because you don't like her doesn't make it crappy.

I hope your therapist is being honest with you.

Have you gotten into a relationship or happily single? Just curious. Thanks for helping others and giving information.

My two are 15 and 12. They commented to me that the pressure made them sad. They never heard any laughter and were afraid something would start an argument. They are happy I've moved out and that I'm laughing and smiling again.

The kids want their loved ones to be happy. Kids puck up on the hostility, and it's not healthy for them. The best thing for kids is adults who realize being apart is the best for everyone.

The great thing about our country is that we can have different opinions as long as we mutually respect the other. I'm sorry you feel the way you do, but respect your right to feel that way. Have a great day.

AZ resident here. I know several females who've cleaned house in court. It truly is a case by case.

Had a similar but not as extreme situation once. I was unhappy how my ex was spending child support. I was told that unless it's for something illegal or puts the children in danger, there isn't any way to control how she spends it. Any agreement should have been discussed and put into the final order. Plus.. equity and support are different. Who's to say she's using child support money instead of equity money for her enhancements. Don't make this a hill to die on.

Nope.. mine was middle class employed and average looking. Sex was pretty good at first, until she rediscovered religion and everything fun became sinful.

Honestly, after she cussed me out and hung up the phone, I started laughing. Part of me wants to send her a Happy Birthday text.

Your kids don't care about the quantity of time you spend with them, but the quality. They will only focus on the things you do with them.

Don't rush into marriage. Meet a prospective partner, learn about each other, and not be afraid to discuss views on relevant issues. One issue with my stbx was politics. We were opposite parties. I would ask a question to facilitate an adult discussion, and she took it as an attack on her beliefs. Love is blind, and unfortunately blinds us to those red flags. Don't simply rely on social media to meet and interact. Actually, go out and do stuff.

They don't care where dad lives. They just want to be with dad. Go hiking, bowling, etc. Just work on making memories. Also, reassure them you will always be there for them. Good luck, Brother.

Apply for your states version of Medicare. Get enrolled in counseling. Look for support group in your areas. Block her on all your sm sites so you can't see all the shit she's spreading. You're not alone. I'm in therapy and meds for depression. If you need to vent DM some time. Peace and prayer brother.

Thanks for your feedback. Enjoy your day. If it's as beautiful where you are, as it is here, get out and enjoy it. Take your loveable nephew to the park.

That's her deal, not yours. Don't drive yourself crazy or to drink thinking about her. While it's hard to imagine, unless you are becoming a priest, you'll also have sex one day with another woman. It will be great. Think of one hang-up your ex had and hope the new one loves it! GL mate. You're not alone

To act like a kind person and not the cold heart bitch she is in front of others. Mine cussed me out in front of others the other night and then told me that she would take me back up to the moment I filed. She would help me with my issues since it was all my fault and show me how love can be.

Hmm.. thanks. I'll go back and reread my post to see where I screwed up. I just have to do it when I'm not working my 40 hour a week job, taking or picking up her son from school, cooking dinner on the nights I'm home, or whatever. I'm fat from all my bonbons. But if u think I'm a deadbeat SAHD, even though three nights a week I get home from work at 1am but up at 530 to get the kids rdy for school since she has to leave early.. go ahead.

Tried in two separate marriages. The first time the therapist told my wife, in session two, she was violating the rules because she kept yelling at me and interrupting me when It was my turn to talk. She canceled all further appointments, stating the therapist was biased. The second time in session 1, my stbxw stated. He's the one with all the issues and problems. He's projecting his failures on ne. He's such a failure. He's lucky I let him stay. I told her 2 days later, I was going to file.

Let's see.. Continuing to live with a woman that is toxic to me. She constantly belittled, insults me, and starts fights. I can do no right while she can do no wrong. The woman who in counseling said "all the problems are because of him. If he just accepted, he's a failure and be glad I keep him, there isn't any problem." The woman that refuses to allow me to discipline her out of control 9 yo son, but screams at my kids when they visit. Yeah.. her abuse is pretty related to.. 1) Why I want a di…

I can't afford an attorney. She is the primary bread winner. By the time I pay bills with my income I have nothing left.
