TBH, I think they know. They just want to post their BS to see if it’s believable enough before they start spreading this perspective. In reality it probably went a lot like this: he was leading her by dangling the relationship carrot and saying he liked her, then after sex he sent her home in a rude way (like why would u do that after your first time having sex?) and then sent her another voice note saying the same stuff he said pre-sex to try and get her to sleep with him again. They’re so ann…

I don’t think this is a gold digger. From what it looks like the family is against her staying with him because she might get put in the will, but from other comments she’s made it seems like he isn’t loaded, he’s an ex college lit professor, she’s an English major. Also if she was a gold digger she would’ve had the ring, gold diggers really know how to get it under lock. Usually the pendulum of something being wrong (the family not wanting it to happen) swings towards doing that thing because y…

I posted this a few minutes ago but I realized from a comment someone made, the guy isn’t 50, he’s 50 years older than her. Making him 70 when they started and now he’s close to 80 years old and refuses to get married to her. Everyone is telling her she was groomed. She refers to him as her mentor. It’s just screaming manipulation. She mercilessly defends him, says his 70 year old scrote dick saying it’s the best sex of her life.

I’m glad someone in the comments called his reasoning on why it ended out. If he is 50 years old and loves you, why did it take him 6 years to realize he couldn’t be with you because of his family? Huge age gaps are almost always red flags. He had no issue dating her from 23-29 and wasting her time before dumping her to find a new young impressionable girl to manipulate. The reply she gave sounds like the excuse he probably drilled into her head after hours of fighting and crying. I hate to see …

FDS Value: When he tells you how he thinks about other women’s situations or problems, just know he will see your situation in the same way. He has an issue with girls who are financially needy or doing OF and think they should get jobs instead of doing nothing? There might be a time when you’re sick and can’t work, or you lose a job, or you’re pregnant, and he’s going to redirect that same energy towards you. Vet him by asking how he feels about things like this. You should be figuring out how …

Okay, culturally IMO if you’re okay with this being how your relationship is, then stick with it . Personally I think he might be leading up to you having to rely on him financially, it’s ok to let him think that but never to actually be. The tea thing seems controlling because he essentially wanted to be in control of saying yes or no to buying it. If you feel like he’s being manipulative then trust your gut. You know what someone being genuine looks like, you experience it everyday. Your insti…

This is the red flag I ignored. If he’s looking for reasons for you to rely on him, he’s looking for ways to keep you around, not help you. Edit: Also, It’s the puppy in the white serial killer van. “You can trust me, and I have something you want/need.” To them, the best case scenario is that you suddenly realize how stupid you were to turn him down, the worst case scenario is that they get to force you to spend time with them, which gives you time to realize how great they really are, and how …

I just read some of the comments on your last post and wow. I didn’t even think about it as using a ruse to get past a filter and disregarding boundaries of what I want/need/am looking for. His obvious blatant disregard for caring where he stands in terms of value in reality just because lying can someone way out of his league to spend time with him is a HUGE red flag (even non commitment related). Most of my male friends are okay and I’ve met most of their ex’s and current gf’s, I also add name…

Yeah, especially because if you’re an ugly guy with a super beautiful girl with all the green flags (speech intelligence ambition) people will wonder exactly how you landed her, who you are, etc.. It’s weird but men do place status on other men based on how attractive the women around them are. He might have been realizing that I may as well be the only woman without serious issues or shortcomings that would spend time with him, and that pushed him to create this ruse to try and spend more time …

Heres some tips I figured out being in the entrepreneurial space: Master your craft and make your name known wherever you can (positive things only though) This adds credibility and deters people who are looking to use you because you get put into this higher space of being harder to reach, meaning the more they wanna work with you, the more they have to be able to do. Focus on connecting your friends to credible people as well as being connected with credible people. Occasionally you'll get a g…

to impress you and gain the admiration they crave yet do not deserve. It’s an immature tactic at best and a narcissistic one at worse when they try to gaslight their way through the truth This. I should've known since he isn't the most fortunate looking (way below average and not related to weight or hygiene, just horrible facial structure, height and genetics) that there would be a huge inferiority complex. I do feel like he strung me along in an attempt to meet up and build some sort of connec…

Also, I have quite a few male entrepreneurial friends who reach out to me with projects to work on, mostly they’ll go through since we work fast and we add credibility to each other, sometimes they’ll fall apart but there are never harsh feelings or blame because it’s common to have things just not work out for one reason or another sometimes especially in the entrepreneurial space. That’s why I didn’t think much of the first instance of it not working out because I already understood taking too…

Wow, I appreciate all the upvotes on this. I’d love to get some advice or feedback on what any of you think happened and what you would do in situations like this, or just your own personal anecdotes of men trying to build relationships by future faking with stuff like this. I might post this in FDS as a cautionary tale. Edit: Also, if anyone has any thoughts about what the reasoning for lying about his roommates salary along with a bunch of other very small things means, I’d love to hear it. St…

How do you guys avoid the past sexual experiences and past sexual partner question? I mean, what do you say when you're asked about your past sexual partners and past sexual experiences? Any tips on how to avoid answering/change the topic? Also, how do you brush it off when it's asked in a group setting?

I love how she specified the “part-time job” like working a part time job in university isn’t a normal thing for both genders.

Men will always approach you with nothing except the audacity. It has nothing to do with your style, I get approached by bums and losers all the time but it has nothing to do with me. Men are just told from a young age that the beautiful woman will chose the bland unintelligent toad over any good looking guy.

I was talking to a guy who had sanitary pads in his place and it seemed cute and considerate at first which is part of the reason I even talked to him for longer than I did. He kept talking about how he was different than other guys and he was a 'nice guy' so I lost interest and I stopped talking to him. He then proceeded to go off to anyone he could find that knew me and told them how horrible I was for leading him on and ghosting him and said word for word "he even had sanitary pads in case I …
