I've always believed in a similar mantra, work smart not hard. I don't believe it to mean don't work hard. It's just a reminder to myself to focus my efforts in the areas that will have the most return.

I'm a guy, but I can see your confusion. Thanks for the well thought out response. I haven't read much of married TRP or RPW, PPD, or any of the other subs similar to TRP so I may not have as attuned of a perspective as others on it. It seems to me that if neither partner in the relationship believes in the fantasy tale illusion...it seems like that would result in more realistic expectations. I guess the key takeaway from your response though is that no matter what it is a risk, which I think w…

There are women who frequent TRP -- I'm curious what your (OP's) opinion is on dating one who is as well read on the subject as we are. Obviously LTR's are a hotly debated subject here, and could warrant days of debate itself. Assuming an openness to be idea of LTR (to avoid discussion simply on the viability of LTR's), can this be beneficial to us through (her) self awareness or does it strip us of our power?

I think this is only valid to an extent. Everyone is willing to cheat, it just depends on your value to her that dictates her willingness and the likelihood of it. That being said, different girls do have different propensities to engage in that behavior. The key takeaway is that it's up to you to have a high enough perceived smv to her that she wouldn't risk it.
/r/TheRedPill08/02/18 12:54 AM

If you're showing up unannounced because you think she's cheating on you, you have both insecurity issues and a relationship you shouldn't be in.

A lot of the content on this sub is anecdotal evidence that reinforces the concepts of the sidebar, not reinvents it. There are tags for a reason, if you don't want to read field reports and real stories and would rather read the philosophy, use the flair filters. No skin off my back.

There was no home -- we're early 20s. No kids. They were together for a few months. She never saw a future with him anyways. Better for him he found out now. I have no regrets.

There are no hard rules to life, we're all just making it up as we go. I'm just living my life and focusing on keeping myself at the center of it since I've started reading TRP

Nah he ended up making it inside, I was sitting on the couch. To be honest I wouldn't have been happy whether his blood or my blood ended up on the floor. I just deescalated the situation and said let's keep it cool. I kept it real with him and told him what happened and he thanked me for being honest and shook my hand. Really surprised he didn't come in guns blazing at me. Can't make this shit up boys. I doubt any of us on this sub are the kind to just hide in the bathroom.

I've only been reading/practicing TRP for a few months now. A girl I've been hooking up with the past two months is exactly the same way. I'm not that nice to her that much, mostly because I have low investment with it. And she can't get enough of me despite saying how I'm not very nice and wouldn't make a very good boyfriend. I would never have believed that girls could be like this, especially pre TRP if I wasn't experiencing it now myself. Not really a very interesting comment just adding my …

Nah, I think it's ok in moderation and doesn't have any bearing on being blue pill vs red pill, even if it's the popular opinion here that these things aren't very conducive to productivity and self betterment.

In response to your last sentence... I have a plate that told me she's seeing another guy (I don't care, the first thing I told her was that things wouldn't be exclusive). She proceeds to tell me how insert all nice provider guy attributes this guy is and how he wants to date her. She thinks I would make a terrible boyfriend. Then tells me she won't date him because she doesn't want to stop fucking me and proceeds to describe how alpha I am and how she can't believe how great I am. This was surp…

She's pretty active on PPD, which I never frequent. I know she used to talk on their IRC or whatever when we were together, I'm not sure if she is as active now. She agrees with a lot of red pill concepts, but not all of them. I think that some are hard to swallow for women when they know that they are actively working against women's best interests (hypergamy etc)

I can't get enough calories to gain weight. When I eat healthy I don't eat nearly as many calories, I fill up with less calories than high carb and high fat shit foods. This advice only applies if you're trying to lean/cut

The easy answer to this is to not buy women things until you know them well. Then it's something you do because you want to, not because it's something you "ought to do"

Success doesn't always mean closing. He's demonstrating that he can maintain frame and has developed/is developing abundance mentality. His sole worth shouldn't rest on closing this one girl. If he gets with her cool, if he doesn't get with her he doesn't need to shit his pants about it. There's other cuties out there. His success is his internal frame, not his ability to close/not close. I posted this above but it's relevant here also: He's in high school, give the guy a break. Sex is much less prevalent in high school than in college/adult life as lots of dudes are still figuring out where their dick is supposed to go (edit: and girls too)

I had Tinder and bumble for about 2-3 weeks, and never met up with anyone, let alone even matched with someone cute. Those same weeks I fucked 4 different girls I met in real life. I guess I don't really have Tinder game either, I deleted them and decided to stick to real life game. I feel like it's much more character building and formative anyway

Other things matter like the other person who responded said. Free T is what your body is utilizing, which is only ~2% of total usually. Also prolactin, estrogen, thyroid stimulating Hormone, follicle stimulating Hormone, blood count densities all have an effect on how your body responds to a certain volume of testosterone
/r/TheRedPill11/11/17 10:20 PM
1

There's a difference between using TRT to get to baseline and cycling your T into the thousands
/r/TheRedPill11/11/17 10:18 PM
3

Both are important pieces to the puzzle, but I do agree that free T is overlooked when it is what your body is actually utilizing.
/r/TheRedPill11/11/17 10:18 PM
2

Most general practitioners don't know anything/enough, go to an ends or men's clinic. Fapping lowers your T by increasing prolactin, which suppresses your other hormone production
/r/TheRedPill11/11/17 10:17 PM
1

Did you get your other hormones tested also? Free T, estrogen, prolactin, tsh?
/r/TheRedPill11/11/17 10:14 PM
3

First time I asked my GP to have my testosterone tested, they only tested total T. It came back at 320 and my doc told me I was "fine". I was 22 for reference, IMO 320 is not "fine" for being 22. I read up on it a bunch and got blood work again through a men's clinic. You really need the whole hormone panel to see the whole picture of what's going on, total T alone is not enough. What you need tested is: Total T Free T (what's actually active in your body, ~2% of total usually) Estradiol (someti…

The other response was right, but I wanted to add that most doctors take the "normal" range and make it synonymous with an "optimal" range. Really anything in the lower third of that range is suboptimal and affecting your life/masculinity most likely. (My subjective opinion).
/r/TheRedPill11/11/17 09:57 PM
2

Average in this range for total T is in the mid 700's. But there is such a plethora of other hormones that affect how you feel and can suppress the effects of testosterone that you need the whole picture to see what your body needs. Estrogen, prolactin, free t, WBC and rbc, SHBG, albumin, tsh. Just go get full blood work if you want to know. The (low?) testosterone sub has a good sidebar to educate yourself on it
/r/TheRedPill11/11/17 09:56 PM
1

Just go get tested. It's not a big deal. Best case scenario you know you're healthy, other best case scenario you fix something that's wrong and improve your life. Can't lose.
/r/TheRedPill11/11/17 09:53 PM
2

Did you get your other hormones tested as well as total T? If you send me your blood work I can give you my semi-educated opinion
/r/TheRedPill11/11/17 09:41 PM
3

However your Testosterone binds to proteins in your blood stream so it isn't absorbed by your body right away. Only ~2% is is free in your blood stream, and it's this Testosterone that is active in your body. These two numbers (total t, free t) may not align; One can be high and the other low. Free T is just as important if not more than total

Get blood work done again and if it's low again go to Defy, they do over the phone service and the blood work is done through a nationwide company Edit: I had a doc tell me the same thing almost a year ago at 321ng/dl and nothing has fixed itself. 23 also.

Buckle up buttercup, this is a long one. I'd like to add my own insight after reading your responses to other people. For reference, I'm 23. When I was in High School I played multiple sports year round and was a pretty good athlete. I also had a good social life and lots of friends in High School. I also was probably one of the first few kids to fuck at the age of 13. One of the hardest transitions about going from high school to real life is learning that there is no next step that is given to…

Isn't this like sandbagging yourself to go play red pill games with the pre-schoolers? If you're gonna be alpha don't surround yourself in an echo chamber of plebs just to make yourself feel good. Seek to be the alpha of the alphas.
/r/TheRedPill02/11/17 11:19 PM

Do you have a source for this? I can't find anything that says how much exercise affects t levels

I am in the same boat now, on the lower end of the normal range and on the fence about taking trt. Have you had any negatives to taking it? How long have you been?

I'm trying to nofap/fap maybe once a week. But only as of the last few weeks so I don't have a lot to go off of. Before that I only masturbated 2-3 times a week usually anyway. I'm not sure why you're asking? I wasn't masturbating 5 times a day or anything ridiculous Edit: plus sex

/r/TheRedPill01/11/17 03:52 AM

/r/TheRedPill01/11/17 03:26 AM

If you have doubts about the aesthetics before committing, definitely don't commit lol. Even girls you thought were 11/10 at first will lose a lot of attraction over the course of a relationship, even if they physically look exactly the same.
/r/TheRedPill01/11/17 02:17 AM
4

"What lowers your T is lack of anaerobic exercise" (Sorry don't know how to quote format) That can be a big factor but there can be lots of other factors affecting your T production. Your pituitary gland, your thyroid, and the many hormones made in those places in your body can also affect your T levels (just as significantly). As can a myriad of other things.
/r/TheRedPill01/11/17 01:49 AM

I had mine tested last December and was at 321. I recently have decided to look into it and was amazed my doctor told me I was FINE. It's fucking low dude. That female doctor had no idea what she was talking about. I literally just got blood work done again and am waiting to see what the results are. We're in the bottom 2.5-10th percentile of males depending on what study you look at. What's really interesting is that the average male's aged 20-30 (again depending on study) is in the 700's range…

I have dialogue like this. Especially when drinking things come out pretty unfiltered. Last night a girl told me she had gotten a tit job, my response was "I bet they're fun to play with". Sober dialogue is much less overt though

Anything you have done in your life, when you started you sucked. Whether it was riding a bicycle, learning to snowboard, writing an essay for school, whatever. You started not having the confidence you saw other people had. You don't get that confidence without practice

I agree that I could have more exciting things going on on my average weekday night, but I hardly think that lacking it degrades my manliness into boyhood (or whatever you are arguing). Maybe I'm just getting defensive and shouldn't be
