I understand this. She likes you for what you've been doing, keep doing that thing instead to conforming to her ideals.

I completely understand. I've been as social as ever, my friends that lurk here keep me in check!

Absolutely. The phase of growing and living outside the comfort zone is addicting. I have a ton of notes from here I keep on to.

The tips are a mixed bag. It's better to thank someone rather than apologize. Bad: "Hey, sorry I'm late." Good: "Hey, thanks for waiting for me"

Dude classes just started. Sit with new people daily, be lighthearted and relax. Get to know the person, make comments about what's happening, etc.. By the end of class you should've built enough rapport between you two. Mention needing a study buddy for this class. Yes, it's that easy.

Hell yeah man! If your friends support you, have them challenge you on approaching someone. E.g., "Go up and talk to her while clapping your hands, without acknowledging it." "Talk to her with a fake English accent." "Go up and ask her for her favorite flavor of ice cream." These aren't as serious, but make it much more relaxed and fun. Really kills the nerves, boosts confidence, and makes it entertaining with your friends watching.

Hell yeah man! You can only get better from here, because every "failure" (it's really not) is a lesson. The mightiest tree in the forest was once a seed like the rest.

CONGRATULATIONS!! That is awesome to hear man, good job! We all have the willpower and capability to get better, but sometimes you need a reminder like hitting rock bottom to give clarity to that. The gratification of looking back to your old, lesser self is perhaps one of my greatest motivations for pushing to the best version of myself. Man, don't worry about chicks for now, like you said with seddit being "meh." Keep moving forward, that confidence and success WILL show, and they will come to…

I took notes on my iPad. I wrote down key points in each chapter to refer back to so I don't need to reread them necessarily.

Enjoy your trip! Update me on that haha. Remember: -Just do it, you'll never know until you go up, don't decide for them by never trying. That's greedy. -Rule #6 -Life is short. -As long as you don't morally offend anyone, keep going!

Bro, I'm happy you're doing this! I remember your earlier posts of finally cold approaching girls, and that was awesome. Your post indirectly fueled my confidence to start cold approaches a few days after it. I like the spreadsheet idea!

Facebook is more for family, far-away friends, and employers that look you up. The big focus seems to be through other social apps like Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat (though I never use Twitter). I've never used any of these to express intention... They simply give me something to talk about regarding their life if I find it interesting. I prefer talking to them in person. Tinder is my only exception of getting dates online, but it's not something to take seriously/ rely on. Besides, only 7% …

This got the wheel going for me OP. I worked at this massive summer camp for two months this summer. There were 200 counselors, with a 2:1 girl:guy ratio. I was pretty awkward around larger numbers of girls before then, and realized at the start of my job that this experience can change me. I didn't have the balls to ask anyone out (nor did I want to, the job was fun). I learned how to open up and get used to talking to large groups of girls. For breaks it wasn't uncommon to hang with two to fiv…

You kind of sound like me with the whole melody thing. Music Education and Performance student. I use to heavily run a various mix of jazz "licks" (motives), chord progressions, drum set, and voice harmonies whenever I zone out. It would happen first thing in the morning, throughout the day, and for 20-45 minutes just laying in bed before going to sleep. I also have perfect pitch so I'll just disconnect from the conversation when I hear the AC drone turn on or the machine at McDonald's go off to…

I agree with going out and applying this. I would read through portions of Models and HTWFAIP, note key points, and apply them in practice whenever I'm out doing errands/ in class. I believe going out goes hand in hand with reading up, though you learn much better getting the experience in person. The books are cookie cutters, guidelines for men. They aren't guidelines for you, the individual, you got to work with your quirks.

1. I talk about whatever is on my mind without second guessing myself to their reaction. I'm very calm and casual with the things I talk about, no matter how deep or personal without making it sound like their judgment or opinion will affect/ hurt me. I just sound comfortable and at ease with my life privileges and struggles, and am not afraid to share. 2. The more a guy strays away from his intentions, the creepier he becomes, because he isn't genuine. I'll just straight up tell a girl "I saw y…

Something like that... "Hi! Could you do me a quick favor? This won't take long." Sure, what's up? "I'm working on a project and I need to [insert topic]" Okay

I tell them it's for a personal project I'm working on. I also say it like I know what the hell I'm doing. If I say it sheepishly, it will come off as weird and creepy. Delivery is everything, which is great because it challenges my confidence when doing this. 98% of people are fine with this, 2% give some form of no, to which I move on.

Dude congrats on your success! I've since refined my honesty. I'm not trying to share everything, but an amount that is relevant in content of discussion and the audience listening. It just gets exciting connecting with people through commonalities, that it gets easy to do so by sharing things about yourself pertaining to what they are discussing with you. Cuba sounds like a hell of a good time!

I mean "playing games" as in being coy, beating around the bush, and not explaining my intention. I mean started being more forward and upfront with people.

Just in your day-to-day interactions. Look people in the eye Smile Kino: handshake, hand on shoulder, pat on back Look for the good in everyone (talk of the good things) There's a bunch that gets hard to explain, but you want to practice the principles and such to where it becomes second nature (I.e., you don't think about them anymore, just do it). Just get creative and find your way to work on them. I just made mine up that work for me. My way may not work for you.

I know how you feel man. I needed something to push me over the edge to start doing it. In my case, it was getting flaked a third time by some tinder girl and taking it seriously, when I shouldn't have cared.

I mean it's nice having feedback from their end with what I'm doing! My motivation and confidence shot way up when they told me I was attractive/ bold. Also great practice to not act weird around girls.

I usually go to my college's Starbucks. I drink coffee way too much, and not going for a number of anything. I just feel like talking to someone about their day/ studies, and genuinely want to learn something about them.

I never criticize people, that's something I absolutely refrain from doing. Talking bad about someone to their face or behind their back is against my approach to all this. I cringe when my friends talk shit about each other, I feel like they talk shit about me as well which seems like a dick move (though I trust them not to unless caught). I never judge people because there are moments in my life where I can't have my shit together and I know some people would think I'm naturally a fuck up. Not…

I take rule #6 by heart in the face of flirting with chicks. Parts of my life that matter like school... I need to be a grown adult (or try too) because I need to be.

I get you bud. I live in a college town haha so it's okay. I actually tried some of my anxiety/ extroversion exercises in my hometown (rural) Wal Mart and got the coldest responses, while that almost never happened in school. I don't overthink it with a formula. If they look receptive to it, I'll do it.

Well, I usually by a stranger's coffee in front of me. I'll tell them I like to buy someone's coffee once a week. Actually, funny story-- Earlier in the semester I see this short girl in front of me, and I tell her "Hi, let me buy your coffee! I've never bought a stranger's drink before and I've always wanted to." She insisted I didn't have to but I insisted I did. Fast forward three weeks... I go to the same Starbucks and she is the barista taking orders. I didn't think she'd remember me, but a…

Happened to me three days ago. I've seen this chick around my part of the university numerous times in the semester, though we never have the same classes. We hung out for coffee for an hour earlier this week, the got her number. We then walked around town for three hours last night, but told me she had a boyfriend in her home state. Whatever. She's a cool chick with a great personality. Plus it was a good way to explore the city, get to know someone with no pressure, and test for real dates. I'…

This video almost made me cry. Sasha has helped me visualize and bring to life the fear and nervousness we experience in a new light. New or old, some fear always lingers in your mind, this is a refresher on why you should yell "Shut the hell up" to all doubt in you.

Dude holy shit I had a break through with this yesterday. I had been up all night, totaling 36 hours from writing a paper. The day was hazy, wasn't sleepy, but gave zero fucks and felt loopy/ buzzed. I was no filter, literally saying the first things to come into my head. Hell, the passing time in the lobby I was juggling balls and taught several girls that were intrigued. Someone got me free subway because I said "hey you should buy me free subway because you're a badass and a bro." It was 43 d…

School has over 15,000 girls. Get four numbers one day, day gaming. Three of them before 11 am, fourth late afternoon. Girl I met in the afternoon was great friends with one of the girls I talked to that morning. Implied threesome. They didn't find it funny.

Hey man, I was in a similar pinch. Didn't get my first kiss until 20 (a few months ago, I'm 21 now). I had the same fears as you. I had been to three or four dates total, all of them in the last two months. I got flaked on a third time by the same girl and that pushed me over the edge to change (it pissed me off and made me upset). For several days of the week I went out and talked to random girls on campus I found attractive. I would start simple by locking eyes and smiling, then complementing.…

Take your time. The fact that they are listening means you already have their attention. Watch some videos on vocally warming up, take full deal breaths through your diaphragm, and utilize the warm ups to speak with your chest voice (full, lower voice). You have to understand that the use of space, volume, and pitch are the big three in giving speeches, go listen to Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I have a dream..." speech and see what I mean. There's no hurry to talk to fast, she's already there. Sho…

HEY! I literally had the same situation as you! My university has roughly 30,000+ students as well. Funny thing is, two of the girls I hit on (and got their numbers the same day) were friends and met for coffee shortly after I met the second girl. I panicked thinking I would get blacklisted by their sorority. The school is too big for them to give a shit, and if anything, it's hell of a story I tell my friends. I have friends in the sorority who have never heard of the girls I hit on because it'…

I believe in this so much! I've learned things like playing the ukulele and juggling then past month and it's such a fun thing to bring up in conversation. Also, the whole faking it till you make it thing has a good bit of truth to it. I literally just got a first Instadate today just being perceived as outgoing and extroverted. I'm introverted at heart; check out my recent two posts to see what I mean!

Thanks for the feedback man! I appreciate the criticism. Yeah I was a bit in the fence with sharing that stuff, but we we've known each other for a few years, and we were getting a bit deeper in conversation where that felt appropriate to talk about from my POV. I will be trying to tone it down with honesty, this is all still pretty new and I can get giddy about this stuff because it almost seemed too easy/ quick of a change haha. Also, one of the things that runs through my mind is to have fun …

Yeah man! I'm doing this for at least a month, I want to make it a habit to openly approach people with no self doubt. I'm not planning on stopping anytime soon. I don't usually number close with the social experiments as that is more of an exercise for coping with approach anxiety and getting desensitized to people's judgement of me.

Thanks man! I was one of those socially awkward kids growing up and I always froze up when talking to women I find attractive. I just got pushed to the breaking point and just started talking to strangers. That anxiety and fear turns into adrenaline real quick if you act more "unfiltered." My friends and I make it a game now when approaching. Tomorrow morning, we will make lines for each other to use on women, no matter how retirees the lines are. I never hesitate anymore (unless she's on the ph…

I'm going to be making a field report soon.. However, I've started leaving the apartment every day for the past three days to work on inner game and day game. I would try and approach 10 or more women every day that I find attractive. I've not fapped in two weeks, I finally decided to do this everyday, share results to friends, and have people hold me accountable. I've never felt so comfortable in my own skin because of this. I work out more than ever, got several numbers, and a couple dates lin…
