Edit: Thanks guys for the positive feedback! Several of you asked for my snapchat and that's totally okay with me. Shoot me a PM with the following: "#Ted," Age (ABSOLUTELY NO ONE UNDER 18), and your snapchat.

UPDATE: Hey guys, so much more has happened the next day following the conclusion of these social experiments! I encourage you to read this when you find the time... https://www.reddit.com/r/seduction/comments/3r06zz/fr_biggest_epiphany_of_my_life_from_the_past_30/ Hey guys,

Been lurking seddit for awhile, constantly reading many posts from the weekly hot posts to the top all time posts. I just wanted to share how I've been changed for the better and seddit has been one of the biggest influences to me in initiating that change.

Little background of me and my situation: I am a 20 year old college kid in a large school of ~30,000 students, never been in a relationship or had sex.

I got flaked for the third time by the same girl a little over a week ago (Tinder). I like to give the benefit of the doubt to people, and she had sorority events constantly going on this time of the year. I didn't mind the first two flakes... but the third time absolutely wrecked me. A friend called me about it and I vented for a good 10 minutes before calming down. Now, I had recently finished reading Models and religiously took notes on everything I found helpful in there. I was up until 3am that night, unable to sleep from feeling like a pussy ass bitch. I then had the idea:

"Fuck it, I'm going to work out early tomorrow then document myself calling random hot girls 'beautiful' and post them as snapchat stories. I'm going to call this 'A Social Experiment' and make it a series to recur."

Now, before this week, I've only ever approached three random girls in my life, and they were very shitty approaches and I was an unconfident, timid man. I also heard approaching after working out is easier because the endorphins from exercise make it "easier." My goal was to be real and genuine, and my first approach was a girl wearing earbuds. She smiled and posed in front of the recording video for my story, it worked! She smiled, I said "thank you, have a nice day!" and moved on with my day. I then continued to complement more and more girls, some in set of two, all for my story. I got eight girls, and even complemented a guy for getting up for his 8am class. The rush of approaching felt... ALIVE. The was exhilarating, and I realized the girl that flaked me was friends with me on snapchat.

The next day, one of my friends wanted to join me in approaching girls and just getting desensitized to rejection. I recorded a new set, "A Social Experiment II," and told girls to insult me. I only approached girls I would want to fuck. We warmed up before hand by making eye contact with everyone and throwing complements at people as we walk by. It felt nice watching people smile as they try and come up with an insult for me as I smile at the camera. I also study their facial expressions in the videos as I do this and most of the girls have genuine smiles; I also used this study their reactions to me as well. It felt I got around nine people on my story for that day, and it felt absolutely amazing. I noticed flake girl was watching my stories as well.

I've been advised to move on after the third flake but she felt sorry for missing the previous times for illness and scheduling. I told her the day after she flaked that we will try once more next week when things slow down. In the meantime, I stopped texting her and kept doing the social experiments. It was now Saturday and I decided to do these social experiments during the weekdays when campus is packed with students. During the weekend, my friend and I worked out then approached a few girls on the way back. None of us number closed but we got the rush of approaching and were not outcome dependent, it was more like practice.

Monday rolls around, and a bunch of my friends following the stories tell me to keep posting them; I've also become feeling more confident and dominant in my college building where most of my classes are. For "A Social Experiment III" I filmed myself making eye contact with women I found attractive for at least five seconds, telling them not to laugh or break eye contact. I number closed one of the girls (she flaked on me, but that didn't bother me at all at this point) I filmed for the experiment felt even more empowered. This overwhelming feeling of confidence and adrenaline is something like no other, like a mental rollercoaster. I message flake girl to set up a date and she made Wednesday (yesterday in relation to this post) the date. I then don't text her until the day of the date. One of my other friends tagged along to watch what I do as I approach people, and I even had him pick girls for me to talk to. Outside of the social experiment, I just approached a bunch of girls, got rejected nicely by a good number of them. Strange thing though... I was not upset by rejection anymore, and my friend commented on how I seem unphased as I laugh it off and move on. Now, I only approach girls I really find attractive, that was my rule for myself, and I open with various things from cheesy pick up lines to saying the most stupid shit (e.g., "It's cold today and I wanted to talk to you because you're hot").

"A Social Experiment IV" happened on Wednesday (my friend that wanted to approach with me joined me on Tuesday as we simply tried number closing). The theme... Sing like ABSOLUTE shit in front of hot girls. I sang a wide variety of things from children's songs to The Beatles, and got seven girls recorded for the story. I've been getting nothing but positive feedback from all those around me and the girls that were my Guinea Pigs for the experiments were all receptive to what I was doing, because I was doing this for fun.

An hour before my date with flake girl, I see an "HB10" walk out the library and I immediately walk to her and just chatted her up. I got her to laugh, cold read her a lot (mostly wrong on purpose, she laughed), and number closed her before hugging then leaving. My buddy saw this all go down and I was cheesing real hard at him the moment I left HB10. That just energized me hard, and I was ready for my soon to be date. I had a feeling she would be late (she mentioned it being a possibility for sorority stuff) so I came late as well. I ended up waiting 10 minutes after I got there and we finally met. We hugged, went into Starbucks and got conversation going. It was slow for the first 20 seconds but I started being playful and assertive when she had money out to pay for her food and tea. I ended up paying for it and we go sit outside and I pull out Jenga from my backpack. The blocks were color coded for categories to talk about yourself and she sat next to me. We played two games spanning an hour while alternating songs between our phones and sharing stories. After both games I noticed her Fitbit and called her out on her steps. She was a bit short from the 10,000 so we walked around campus for 15 minutes. We passed by the marching band as they finished rehearsal and a bunch of my friends called out to me. At this point she was talking 65% of the time about her family, dreams of getting her PhD, and her time playing soccer. We finally walk all the way back to her dorm and I hugged her before we left. I didn't feel the vibe to kiss her yet so I didn't (there wasn't too much kino that date, also, this was my second date EVER). Yes, I got her laughing several times that night, there weren't many awkward silences (like four at the most), and she opened up about herself. I texted her later that night saying it was nice finally meeting her, she replied back and I'm leaving her be until she gets back from visiting home Sunday.

Now, "A Social Experiment V" happened earlier today. One of my friends had a pineapple wearing shades and a bandana signifying to live your life before it passes by (doing as much as you can with it before it dies). We walked around campus with that, had people (not just girls this time, everyone and anyone) hold the pineapple (it's name is Ted) and I ask them "If today was your last day and you could do your top bucket list item, what would it be?" I got at least 13 people for that and it was amazing hearing people's answers. I had realized how much I opened up.

Before all this, I was an extremely introverted, socially anxious guy. I am 20lbs overweight and working on bringing that down. I was shy and nervous because of my race (Asian) and I was attracted to white girls. I started dressing much nicer this semester. ~95% of all my approaches happened this week. I'm typing this as I just got flaked by a girl I cold approached three days ago, and I couldn't care less about that. I found three friends that started doing these approaches with me and it's fun to challenge each other and pick out girls to hit on. I've never felt so fearless in my life, and all this was for a change in lifestyle and a boost in confidence, not to get laid.

I am extremely thankful for flake girl flaking on me the third time, seddit, Models, and my friends for making all this happen. I didn't think I could ever feel like this, ever. I deleted Tinder. I got a number a few hours ago and didn't even text her at all yet, I should probably do that now!

Tl;dr Got flaked on, destroyed me. Threw my dignity and ego in the trash by embarrassing myself in front of hot girls for the fun of it, then put that up for my friends to see. Started approaching with friends and it felt addicting, now getting numbers and got the confidence.

Edit: Some things I've learned/ Changes in myself... -I've been much more vocal/ fearless with talking to strangers. -I never look down, always looking people in the eye. -Say things like "How you doing?" Or a complement without expecting a response. -Overall better mood. -Adopt the mindset of "throwing your ego in the trash"; Publicly embarrassing myself without fear of judgment of others. -Smile way more. -Realize that girls dress up with a lot of effort and love the recognition, and YOU are giving them that validation they so seek. -Realizing I'll fuck up. I've literally laughed at myself in front of the girl saying "Damn I totally bombed it, you're too cute for me to not mess up." -Throwing myself out of my comfort zone, the feeling of conquering things outside the bubble is extremely addicting.
