Okay so, it all comes down to confidence. I've done this many times, and I've had great nights and shit nights, and it always, always comes down to whether I feel "switched on" and confident. You simply go and say "hey, what's up, can I join you for a moment?" I like to go to places that get crowded. Then I always have the excuse that, well, I gotta stand/sit somewhere, why not here? That's just something I tell myself, I can't remember ever saying it out loud. I also sometimes go a bit early to…

What he said was the opposite of a white knight. A white knight worships women, puts them on a pedestal, is honored to even have them say hi. He's saying you should act like you're the shit and put yourself on a pedestal. He just chose a retarded name for his approach. The problem is it's not very practical. Unless you have very social status or very good game, women aren't going to pursue you, at least not consistently. And if you do have great game, you don't need this mindset. I would like to…

I would advice against it, for what it's worth. Movie characters have a script... The girl falls for the hero because the script says so, not necessarily because his game would work in the real world. Consider James Bond. He has the world's coolest job, one you couldn't possibly match, which gives him a social status most people (aside from rock stars and other celebrities) could only dream of. He has some of the world's best scriptwriters writing his lines, and also writing the girl's responses…

Then you ask them. Girls in that age range aren't as age conscious as older women. Also, go to places frequented by people above 18. What's the age of consent where you are? Where I'm from it would be both legally and socially acceptable for a 19-year-old to date a 17-year-old. In that age range there's a big mismatch between age and maturity, some people mature a lot faster than others.

Yeah to be honest I shouldn't be trying to fuck 19 year olds, I'm in my mid 20s and we're just in a different place in life. But I was drunk, so my decision making wasn't at its finest hour.

The idea is that seduction should feel like it "just happened", even though she knows it was probably premeditated. Like if you take a girl home to "look at your goldfish" or whatever when you both really know you're going to have sex. That way, she can tell herself (and her friends) afterwards that she isn't a slut who lets herself get picked up at the gym, it was just one thing leading to another and all of a sudden, sex.

Actually that fact discredits almost everything he's saying. It's basically, If you're not happy, all you have to do is decide to be happy! No, fuck off.

I wasn't targeting those who have depression as a medical problem. For those who choose to be depressed, its actually their loss of appreciation for things that causes their depression Nobody fucking chooses to be depressed. There is literally 0 benefit to it, it's miserable and no one wants it. Are you dumb or just really really disrespectful? This is fucking unbelievable.

What is this, a religious sermon? I thought this was r/seduction. Thinking about starving children in Africa has never made anyone feel good about themselves, and it certainly hasn't gotten anyone laid. I'd say the #1 cause of depression, jealousy, shyness, bitterness, blaming others, and other problems is due to a victim/scarcity mentality. Victims are so focused on what they don't have while ignoring what they do have. You know that depression causes you to lose appreciation for things that yo…

It means nothing more than she's comfortable around you. The old school PUAs used to divide pickup into 3 phases: comfort, attraction and seduction. You have phase 1 down. Just ask her out. It's not gonna be awkward if she says no. She'll take it as a compliment. In order to properly seduce her you need her to be comfortable around you. You need good rapport. You have that. It's an advantage! You're overthinking things. You don't know how she feels about you until you ask her out. in a front of …

You didn't actually prove anything in that comment. You're making all the same mistakes as the original article, but in reverse. For instance you have this sentence: But think about it... Body language and intonation is the most important part of communication. Which has the following logical structure: But think about it... My conclusion is true. It's the purest example of beggining the question I've ever seen. You are also apparently one of those people who thinks scientists aren't allowed to …

While I kind of agree with you, it would be nice if you pointed out any actual flaws of the science cited instead of just proclaiming it false because it defies your expectations.

Alternatively, there's Joseph Campbell's monomyth. There are only two kinds of stories: A stranger comes to town, or A hero goes on a journey. This research seems rather dodgy since they illustrate with a plot of - I don't know what, narrative tension? - of a Harry Potter book, which looks like a fucking sine wave, and somehow this up-down-up-down-up-down-up-down wave becomes "rise, fall, rise." Seems highly subjective. Anyway, what's this got to do with seduction? You might want to make the lin…

Is it more appealing for a woman to play the 'girl next door' when trying to attract men, or be a seductress? Depends on the guy. Corrupting the innocent is an old and very prevalent fantasy. But most guys are timid in the face of attractive women. The seductress gets to initiate, which will get her a lot more dick than the girl next door, and she gets to pick who to initiate with, instead of sending passive hints and hoping the hot dude and not the creep will initiate with her. What're your tho…

it has nothing to do with my ego. it's preference. i like straight forward, no bullshit. Saves us both time and mental games. I hope you see the irony in this. You're putting the guy in the same position that you don't want to be put in. "I like him, but I'm not gonna do anything to overtly indicate that, I'm just gonna wait and hope he makes a move. Handling logistics is a waste of my time - so he has to do it." Now, those high-quality, confident assertive guys you want may just find that to be…

Well, you can't expect every man you're attracted to to be thinking about hooking up with you. That would be delusional. Men may value looks, but not to the degree that they're gonna be pining for every attractive girl they see. You're going to be missing out on tons of guys and losing them to other girls. They may be shy, but they may also simply not have considered you in that way, they may be looking at their options but still be available under the right circumstances, they may meet you unde…

Last weekend I went out to a club alone, as you do. I showed up early to secure a table - great way to force interaction, because I knew it would be packed soon and then people would have to approach me rather than the other way around. (I do approach as well, but nevermind that.) As luck would have it, five girls showed up and sat down with me. Three of them very attractive. I had a good tone with one of them in particular. But later in the night, I ended up cockblocked by her friend, who asked…

You had two options confront him or ask if she's okay. I think he should have done both. Just tell him simply, "Hey, that's not okay." Then ignore him and check on the girl. If he wants to make a big deal out of it, he'll attract negative attention from others. If you remain calm and simply say, "I don't accept that you're gonna act like an ass towards us, but I'm not going to fight you because fighting is stupid and immature," that's simply going to reflect poorly onto him, not you.

Your post reminds me of the game. People respond to that book by reputation, this awesome pua on top of the world shit, but actually if you read it, it's kind of a bummer and that life ends up being empty. If you have her number, what do you have to lose by inviting her for a sober coffee date? Maybe sounds like a step backwards, but maybe that's what you need. You were the life of the party, now be a normal dude. IDK.

"She's playing games with me. Hot and cold. I can't be bothered. It woulda happened by now it was gonna happen." Really, without further info it could be any number of things, but the above is what comes to mind. You blew your chance by acting disinterested and then not reciprocating enthusiastically enough when you did. To be blunt you should have fucked this dude already if you wanted to. Seddit regularly tell men to bail on situations like this because usually the girl is just leading him on …

The first part is somewhat true, but the last part isn't. If she's attracted, very little is creepy. If she's not attracted at all, you can act like it's the most natural thing in the world, it even might be, but she could still interpret it as creepy. Just like if a 10/10 babe comes up to you and just starts making out, you wouldn't run for the hills. Bottom of the barrel fat chick does the same thing, you absolutely would, even if she acts like it isn't creepy. If that girl even speaks to you …

This was me when I was manic and heavily abusing benzos. I didn't get laid a lot because you still need a modicum of social skills to go with it, but I certainly made an impression on lots of people and have some crazy stories. I once met a girl in a bar, and when I went to introduce myself, she recoiled. She wasn't disgusted or not in the mood to be picked up, she was afraid. Apparently I had met her before, and I have no idea what I did. Basically, I was totally on board with this post until y…

Use them to evaluate what you could have improved on and keep going. I suppose that's "just do it", but that doesn't really tell me anything. How do you get yourself into state when you're just feeling deflated?

Rock bottom is people in Mexico fearing their life will be taken away because of the cartel etc etc. No. You know what rock bottom is? Fucking sticking a gun in your mouth and shooting yourself because you're so depressed. There are people out there who are much unhappier than those who are materially worse off. If you don't understand that this is possible, then you don't understand shit about psychology. You can go on and on about being privileged, but being privileged in a crap world doesn't …

Perhaps it would be easier to give you advice if you posted a FR of a typical night. All the advice you need exists in the sidebar, but it's generic advice because it's targeted at everyone. If you want advice specific to your situation, you need to give us some specific details. Not just about your background, but how you actually act when you're out actively look to pick up chicks. Do you have any success outside of getting laid, i.e., getting dates, makeouts etc?

The general idea of building tension is sound, although I've never used this line. I've found some unintentional success by just leaning into kissing distance when you're already sitting and talking very close (so it's not some huge leap), just looking into her eyes and then leaning back again, all the while carrying on the conversation. I think it's more effective nonverbally.

If you haven't kissed the girl in five dates, she may get the wrong idea or move on. She might think you're not into her and get insecure, or she may think you're a pussy and get turned off. That's what the guy is trying to tell you, even if his delivery was harsh. Don't buy into romantic Hollywood ideas. Being indecisive and waiting for "the right moment" is unattractive, and you were lucky the girl was patient enough and attracted enough already. The right moment was almost certainly sometime …

Welcome to our world. Most people get into pickup because they've never been popular with girls. Sounds like things are goung great for you. Most people on here aren't making out with three girls at one party, let alone every party.

If a guy has a crush on a girl and she walks up and asks "wanna fuck?" he'll say yes 9/10 times. If the situation is reversed and a girl secretly wants to bone a guy, she'll say no 9/10 times. Girls need more comfort first, and this extends to little things.

That's awesome man. Just remember that life does not change over night. You may feel amazing now, but you need to find ways to maintain it until it becomes your normal. Building habits is hard. The social experiments were a nice touch, maybe I'll steal that. It's good to have a gimmick as a crutch in the beginning, just don't rely on it forever. I'm a photographer, and I've used my camera to approach people and get over my fear of strangers. I've never really approached hot girls with it, it was…

Social status in addition to boldness and confidence. One of my housemates works as a bouncer at a large club and has a large social circle. He's very outgoing and is always talking to several girls at the same time. I've never seen him hesitate when it comes to girls. I think most of his lays are from social circle game. Having lots of attractive friends surely helps.

This is a field report written after the fact. I'm analyzing the things that I did without thinking too much about them at the time. Conscious game need not be manipulative, but to me anyway the goal is to assimilate it so that, in the end, you're not thinking about it, although you can analyze it if you want to. The point I was making is that I re-learned things on a more intuitive level from experience that I'd learned just on a book level from reading. That's just something I need to keep wor…

Daygame takes balls. I could never walk up to a stranger during the day and start flirting and ask for her number. I'm still kicking myself about something that happened years ago. Met a girl at a bus stop, talked to her for 45 minutes, never asked for her number. Now I'm thinking, pretty sure she was disappointed too.

To the guy it's just trying to facilitate something that he thinks both of you want, because the girl sure as hell isn't going to initiate most of the time. If you're in his arms on the couch or whatever, he's probably assuming there's a good chance you're down for it, but also that it's never gonna happen unless he makes a bold move. I think maybe you're expecting a bit too much out of guys. We're not mind readers. You want them to be assertive but just so, everything that happens has to "just …

No, there is no ultimate point to anything. No grand design, no purpose, no godly intention. You personally define the point. If not, there is none. You can't discount temporary pain without discounting temporary pleasure on the grounds that temporary sensations are meaningless. All this fucking philosophizing is bloody useless. The thing is that we predict the future based on the past. We're very good at it, otherwise we couldn't live. If I don't know that if I face a lion in the wild I'm in deep trouble, I won't survive for very long. Predicting the future based on the past is an inherent human trait and most of the time a virtue; it's not something you can just choose to let go and poof! it's gone. Fear is a basic human emotion and can't be beat by self help slogans. What you describe as a practical approach is expos…
