This week, two platonic female friends straight up told me I was the one of the most open/ honest people they've met. They've known me for years but have noticed a big change in my character/ the way I carry myself.

All my friends noticed a big change in how I act around everyone/ everything; from being fidgety and stiff to being carefree and relaxed most anywhere I go.

I've been handling stress and negativity in a much more positive light, never dwelling on it anymore, and simply not giving a shit because it's a waste of energy.

I never look at the ground anymore and will strike a conversation with nearly all strangers that will be around me for awhile.

I will genuinely complement people as I walk the streets if I see something that looks attractive/ cute/ cool on them. I don't care if they say anything or not.

I try and buy a strangers coffee once a week when I'm in line at Starbucks.

My female friends appreciate the openness; they love it when I give them my Tinder to message other girls.

My professors noticed more initiative and work ethic in me.

My roommate who I've know for years told me the version of me two months ago is a completely different guy.

I used to day game a dozen girls a day for a few weeks earlier in the semester, but dwindled down to one or two a week (schoolwork built up). The quality of conversation/ gaming with the few I talk to has gotten me numbers/ insta dates every time.

My family thinks I'm crazy (in a good way) for doing all these extreme/ new things.

People have called me cheeky/ bold/ unfiltered when I approach them/ see me approach others. I'm just upfront with people and stopped playing games.

Just a collection of various things people have said about me, or changes I have begun to notice in myself since applying what I read into my life.

A couple things that resonated with me that fueled the will to change: "Sometime you got to be willing to sacrifice all of what you are to become all of what you want to be." "Change is the only thing that stays the same." "Life starts out of your comfort zone." "'If only' are the two ugliest pair of words when put together."

Edit: grammar, and I missed another piece of advice. Perhaps the biggest piece of advice I heard this summer-- "Rule #6, don't take yourself so seriously."
