Was in a marriage for 3 years. Loved her with every fiber of my being. Both of us were in the Navy and we had bought a house together. Soon after that, it all came tumbling down quickly. Found out she had been cheating on me with her co workers and former ship mates. Attempted suicide and failed and quickly after that, she had filed a quick restraining order claiming abuse. Had to pay for a lawyer to get it thrown out in court(I was not treated fairly in court during this time) because she got c…

As much as this was a good feeling not being forced out of my home over some bullshit, I still feel incredibly sad and hurt by all this. I just wanted to work out this marriage and not fight. I loved her even to this day and it still at this very moment hurts to see us go through this. I just wish it would've went a different way.

Im a introvert myself. Im currently going through this as well and its hard for me as well The best way to help cope with this is go for a walk around anywhere. Ya neighborhood. park, whatever. Take in the sounds all around you. Focus on the good. Also think about hitting the gym. Im about to start myself since the last time i did was in the Navy and it helped me out when i was going through some shit during that time. Join a community online too. Hey yall just wanted to give a quick little update. After a verbal altercation that was recorded by me, her friends that she brought over for "protection" just to provoke me by getting me to act aggressive and violent. Here in the state of VA, it is a 1 party consent to any recording and they tried to intimidate me saying by saying "we do not consent to any recording and we will call the police" even though at that point they were being aggressive in my own home. After I told them to leave her f…

she apparently feels unsafe around me even though nothing happened with me putting my hands on her or threatening her. I talked to my lawyer and said that she is possibly lying under oath

Absolutely I'm having a meeting with a lawyer this Monday. Its just crazy how this is going especially after the fact I reached out to our marriage counsel to get put back on therapy for us

So update. She came over the house with her friends. I was recording to document any interaction from her and when i started a small conversation with her friend they pretty much got aggressive and i told them to get out of my house and they returned with "Its not your house".

I'm gathering evidence of emotional abuse from her. I have video proof of her admitting to flirting with another man as well as the texts to prove it as well. She knows i suffer from PTSD and depression and i also have documentation of me not only starting therapy but also couples counseling

We each have our own cars so that's not a problem. It hurts so much because she stuck by me during my darkest time and its just deteriorated to this. My PTSD has been getting worse and she knows that and I feel so terrible for letting it get this bad

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
