Literally met a girl who was like this (but tried to hide it) at a bar. She was attractive and smart but she was 26. She kept saying relationships aren't for her but her drunk friends kept telling me how sad she is that she's single and only focusing on her career. Be her "friend" only for her to ever contact you when she needs emotional support (or free meals) as she deals with her problems and Chad treating her like shit. Sure it's good OP decided not to be her friend but he failed to realize, or acknowledge deep down, that women only enter into any type of relationship with men when it benefits them only.
