Well for me, coding is the only way I can provide some value so I stick to it since I don't have a life anyway.

It's a whole lot better than mine. I sleep and work (70+ hours) for majority of the day.

Is it even worth to try if you are below 5?

Gyms have been closed here for me to start working out properly. I have been doing few workouts at home but not sure if it's making any difference yet. Also not sure if working out will help if I don't even have an attractive face.

Easier said than done. I lucked out at being an attractive dude so I feel like women will find me creepy even if I was initiating a convo.

That's a great reminder. I just fail to take action because I fear I might not be enough.

I've read the theory but am pathetic at taking action 😭

I always thought it was the opposite? It's hard not to put her on a pedestal, got any tips on letting go of the expectations?
/r/seduction05/03/21 09:08 PM

Why is it so hard to put yourself on the pedestal??

But does accepting it ever make it easier to not get anxious or let that event define your thoughts?

Just looked him up, he definitely looks way above average in terms of looks.

I still struggle with acceptance, how do you get past this?

If you are of the opposite sex, would you date yourselves? What if the answer to this question is no?

I've been reading alot lately. Trying to consume as much as possible. I do sort of have no life at the moment because I wasn't good enough to out myself out there, which I'm trying to work on. I just hope it isn't too late by the time I'm in a decent place with self improvement.

I understand that but I don't even know where to begin. I've watched lots of videos on it but can't seem to apply to practice. When I see others conversing, they are soo smooth, never running out of things to day, cracking jokes at the right time, making others laugh, being charismatic but for me...I go completely blank, pretty much go into interview mode. Maybe not learning this at a younger age makes it extremely hard to learn now.

How do you not.be a boring person? I feel like communication (often monotone) makes me a boring person, which breaks my confidence. Most can speak so fluently.
/r/seduction15/02/21 02:43 PM

Your mind is very good at convincing you to put things off (e.g. "don't ask people out, you're fat/ugly/balding/awkward, wait until you've fixed those things before you ask someone out".) It doesn't feel good to put yourself out there until you're your best self, but you have to do it because the way to become your best self by necessity involves putting yourself out there. Don't you need to be WELL-rounded to even get any kind of success?

Some people are so good with speech, vocal tonality it amazes me how natural it is for them. Wish I had such superpower.

How does one develop quick quick wit and humor? I feel like I suck with words and have 0 clue on how to evoke such reactions.

Curious, how exactly does one create "desire" in man/woman?
/r/seduction10/02/21 11:18 PM
2

Absolutely, dead on! I've never been the type of person that was confident, shy, afraid of speaking in general. I'm finally starting to see change in myself, stepping outside my comfort zone, it's translating into other areas of my life too.

Honestly, it was the best decision ever made. I struggle with SA and public speaking, it's slowly making me confident and improving my speaking skills. Since I am new to TM, I can't exactly compare it to the physical session but with the online one, the agenda is mostly the same, 1-2 speakers, then table topics improv, evaluation, ah counter, timer report, etc. I found the group via meetup.

lol it seems like I have written this post. I've been learning to stop caring and focus on my personal development. So far so good, I'm slowly starting to have a positive outcome from this experience. Good luck with your endeavours.

Thanks for your reply. I've never actually put myself out there with the fear of not being attractive enough so I don't know my where I stand on the scale. I've always believed I fall below average range.

Oh of course, I won't be picking it for the sole reason of meeting women. I do genuinely want to learn and be good at the hobby/skill with the added bonus of meeting people. Thank you once again!

Thank you for taking your time to share your ideas. I already have diet discipline down, lost 70 lbs since 2020 and finally entered a healthy range. I just need to stick to a workout routine (though gyms are closed right now). What kind of hobbies can you suggest that involves interaction with people and curate better socialization skills? All my hobbies are isolated that I do by myself at home.

Thank you for the assurance. I guess I always had a high expectations of what I need to fix within myself before even attempting to put myself out there.

I would describe myself as easygoing, diligent, savvy, compassionate, polite, honest, disciplined. Isn't humorous and charismatic required to attract someone?
/r/seduction03/01/21 01:24 AM

I don't know, haven't been around women much or at all, never had female friends. Gyms are closed at the moment but I have started bodyweight workouts after losing 65 lbs in 2020. Planning on going next 6 months in hardcode mode and see where it leads me. I know this is something only I can conquer but it gets overwhelming when not knowing how and where to start. I'm also focusing on improving my communication skills, being more charismatic and sense of humor.

I don't know if I would want to bother them with it, some of them are married or in long term relationship, busy with their own lives. Why would they want to get out of their way to help a complete noob? My mentality of not being good enough, not being fit enough, not being a high value man or even manly enough to approach someone. At this point in life, I feel like I bring nothing to the table. So until I achieve something in life, I have to wait it out.
/r/seduction02/01/21 11:23 PM

My own mentality and inexperienced brain combined with not fit enough which I am trying to change this year. Plus I'm 27 surrounded by people that are ready highly experienced. So I am just digesting all the content at the moment.

Going to be a long time for me to change before I take any action from this sub but 2021 is all about self investment. Time to crush the year.
