Why do so many women complain about their husbands/BFs going to strip clubs?Men free pass themselves on porn and strip clubs all the time but flip when their girl gets a benign message from a male coworker. Therefore both sexes should acknowledge their sexual natures and avoid temptation. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/05/20 04:16 PM

Most men (whether consciously or subconsciously) think they don't have to exert effort for sex once the girl is locked down in a relationship/marriage. Since it's not true, they'd be better off avoiding monogamy.I don't think a married man should have to act like they are still in the juvenile stages of dating to keep their wife. However, this seems to be the norm. So, perhaps, men who desire monogamy and a life partner who wants to grow with them should go their own way or learn to be content with serial monogamy. Society defines marriage and the institution has changed from "until death" to whenever you stop feeling it. And a non-marital relationship is just dating and you are free to leave. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/04/20 03:42 PM
Most men stop the emotional effort they put in from the beginning once they get the girl. Why are men surprised when sex dies down too ?It goes both ways. Many people are not their true selves when dating and revert back after "getting the guy/girl". Examples: The non-romantc guy pretends to be romantic to get the girl, but stops once he feels he has her. Example: The girl who pretends to have a high sex drive while dating reverts to her normal drive after getting the guy. Both the man and woman in the above are left wondering what happened. | 1 | The vast majority of men are not 'disposable'. Why is this overstated?I think the disposable part comes in with reference to women taking jobs once predominantly male and women filing for divorce at a higher rate than men. | 19 | Q4A: If men are so disposable then do romantic relationships even mean anything for us?In terms of commitment, anything short of marriage is just dating. Dating for years is just that. Living together is just that. And used to be called "playing house" Marriage is what signifies actual commitment. Stop treating as dating as marriage. You can exclusively date one another but not be seriously committed. So you need to find a partner that shares your idea of romance. Seek the partner who finds commitment itself romantic over being "romanced." | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/04/20 03:54 PM

Why does it matter if a woman “sleeps around in her 20s” and marries in her 30s?Yes, people who wait until older to get married do tend to have more stable marriages. I was addressing morals and character more than anything else. | 11 | Why does it matter if a woman “sleeps around in her 20s” and marries in her 30s?No one’s fully mature in their 20s. Never trust someone who doesnt change within those 10 years. I got married young. And my morals and values are very much the same now as then. A person's interests, hobbies and career may change over the years but character should remain stable barring some drastic unforeseen event. Ex. | 12 | CMV: It’s not money that gets bb women it’s the attention. The guy making $70k is very financially attractive to many women in lower income jobs such as cosmetologists, retail, office staff, childcare workers, and teachers in low paying states or private schools. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 11/04/20 12:45 AM
People who lose their virginity later are more likely to mystify sex or care about n-count, regardless of their own n-count as adults.I lost my virginity at 16 and I care about n-count. People who hold sex to be just another activity should take it further and let their BF/GF know upfront not to expect monogamy. But, they dont disclose this upfront because lots of people still want a monogamous relationship. That is why n-count interests so many people. It's not a cloud of mystery surrounding sex, but a concern for relationship fidelity. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/04/20 08:56 PM

Harvard study - Expectations of wives’ homemaking may have eroded, but the husband breadwinner norm persists.I don't have kids so my homemaking is not much. So I guess the answer would be yes. All I do is keep the house clean, cook and do dishes and make sure he is relaxed. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/04/20 03:11 PM
Harvard study - Expectations of wives’ homemaking may have eroded, but the husband breadwinner norm persists.Culture and religious influence. My husband prefers that arrangement. And he is not pussychasing nor desperate. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/04/20 02:58 PM
Where were young men/boys supposed to learn the correct way to be attractive? If I had a son, this is what I'd tell him. For life in general, be the best version of you. Let no one define you, but you. Fight fair, but be the last one standing. The above will produce confidence and help you not to appear weak and needy to women. Once you have the confidence and have become the best version of you, notice the women who notice you. Don't shoot too far above or go too far below, but know which pond is yours to fish out of. And start from there. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/04/20 02:53 PM
Boiling it all down to "Women Want X" and "Men Have To Be / Look Like X" both over-complicates and over-simplifies sex & gender issues, resulting in men feeling needless resentment toward women for being "shallow", and needless frustration toward themselves for being deficient.RP isn't meant to be an end-all and answer to all problems but a tool box. Too many entering RP are using TRP as a shield and protection to avoid actually bettering themselves into confident, mature men or using it as their "new religion" to avoid critical thought. So I would like to change your view by saying your view is based upon guys who read about TRP and never bothered to put the work in and got stranded in the adolescent anger phase. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/04/20 02:18 PM

Q4A: What Was, Or Is, Your Longest Relationship? So you dumped unicorn wife because you missed out on college partying and hook ups. Monogamy is just not for you. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/04/20 01:31 AM
Q4A: What Was, Or Is, Your Longest Relationship?Doesn't change my conclusion about your second marriage. Edit: Or about monogamy being hard for some. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/04/20 01:27 AM
Q4A: What Was, Or Is, Your Longest Relationship?Your response on that post seems to indicate that she cheated on you, which is not what you indicated as being a contributing factor to the demise if your marriage. If she cheated, she most certainly was not a "unicorn". As far as how I would feel if the same was said about women, I'd say yep they cheat too. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/04/20 01:24 AM
Q4A: What Was, Or Is, Your Longest Relationship?Monogamy is hard for some. I, too, don't trust men because stories like yours reinforces my view of men. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/04/20 01:13 AM
Q4A: What Was, Or Is, Your Longest Relationship? What about marriage was holding you back? Or are you saying you wanted side pieces and she said no. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/04/20 12:54 AM

Q4A: What Was, Or Is, Your Longest Relationship? No. You presented your marriage as being the truth for all marriages. All I did was share an opposing view. Edit: You totally changed your response, which rendered my reply to you nonsensical. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/04/20 12:42 AM
Q4A: What Was, Or Is, Your Longest Relationship?I've never experienced wanting to walk away. Nor do I understand the work or hard part about marriage being a major descriptive of marriage so many people use. Either you are in or you are out. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/04/20 12:38 AM
Q4A: What Was, Or Is, Your Longest Relationship?I'm the OP. Been married for over thirty years and married as a teen. All pills.but no pills. People are too complex for one pill. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/04/20 12:32 AM

Most people are unhappy in relationships, because they expect to live as they were still single.Observing behavior leads to TRP and FDS. I don't think healthy relationships require work as much as they require tending. The main problem with relationships are incompatibility on multiple levels. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/04/20 08:41 PM

What do you get out of being here?I don't debate but will comment on a discussion thread. I'm married so not much I can chime in on. But, RP is not new. If you were an high school outsider, aka "loser", not a member of the "in group" (whatever the current term is now), and observed people, you knew RP but didn't have a name for it. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/04/20 08:01 PM
You don’t need a pill to understand why marriage is not a good idea and why the vast majority of the general population is not suitable for itMarriage is for those who like routine and don't care for novelty, IMO. Got married as a teen and have been married for 31 years. I don't recommend marriage for most people. Society has changed too much to make a lifetime marriage feasible for most. No need to marry now since women can make a living on their own and tend to find marriage a burden. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/04/20 07:13 PM
