yes, I would be willing to bet you're around 7-9% if you are entering a natural competition. Not only that, there is no method of determining bodyfat that can get anywhere near 0.1% resolution. A dexa scan is +/- like 4-5%. Caliper methods and impedance based methods are even worse.

Chopping wood is a good workout and produces a useful product, but its not an efficient way to build muscle. I grew up very poor and our house was heated with wood. As a kid my punishment was often to chop wood. One of my weekly chores was to chop wood, and for money I would sell firewood. I would estimate I've split ~50-60 cords of wood, and I can confidently say its not a mass builder. Pullups and deadlifts will make your back wide, thick, and impenetrable. Chopping wood is good cardio though.
