I hear you man, I can't watch any of the new movies - which is kind of ironic since my favorite ones (Alien and Aliens) have a definition of a strong woman as a main character but these days they are so heavy handed and mean spirited about it (if a modern movie has a "strong womyn" she AT LEAST has to make one comment about how useless men are) - it just ruins the experience for me.
