When feminists say only 2-10% of accusations are false and the majority is true, they neglect to apply the stat to the amount of cases. Since they think that if the stat is small, the no of ppl falsely accused must be small enough for it to be insignificant

Why do you say that? Genuine question?

Ok, that's somewhat good advice, but there's a few things that need to be asked. How is someone, especially a man, going to prove consent? What about the times when the accuser, is not their spouse but their co-worker/classmate?

So there's absolutely nothing one could do if placed in that situation?

Argh this is really a hard one to swallow. The afterstudy groups and good samaritan stuff I could understand, but the initiating interactions during work/school hours? What about if I'm placed in a group or on a team with them?

Ok, how does one manage to spot someone who is more likely to make accusations than the average person?

Thx, I haven't really considered this.

Now that's an interesting theory, I will admit, but what about the many exceptions to this 'rule'. For example, what about the times it happen to men that fill out this criteria. Also, in such cases, how likely is their spouse to trust and believe them over the supposed victim/accuser, especially in the face of tremendous pressure from coworkers, friends, activist groups amd even family members?
/r/MensRights30/01/22 01:12 PM

Yeah. It feels weird. Like they believe I'm some bargaining chip for them to use whenever they're accused for not living up to the dictionary definition. Also sidenote, they do this to black and trans guys as well sooooo yeah.

This concept is actually one of the best ideas to come on this sub, as if implemented properly, it will be infinitely useful to several young guys trying to navigate this world Now, what would this look like in practice? With regards to the operational details - it could perhaps take the form of a website or a webpage Or it could take the form of a subreddit Take dating and relationships as an example (I am only talking about straight, hetero relationships since I am woefully ignorant on 'inters…

I love how they harp on men blaming women, but they almost always never acknowledge the many times when the genders are reversed (eg. False accusations). They don't even acknowledge the times when men are doing the opposite like when they are supporting women. Guess they only see what they want to see.

WTF does that have to do with it? Simple, I'm quoting directly from their profile, rather than call them by name Why are they ANTIFA and thought this was a leftist sub. Because they view anything that goes against their narrative as far right. Even left leaning and left wing dissenters aren't safe

Still, I'm worried, since they view any male centric sub or platform as misogynistic. Even if it has tight moderation

And what is the exact statistics of men getting falsely accused of rape? 8% of false rape accusations are provably false (FBI statistics 1996). However, the number of cases that are potentially false/unsubstantiated (meaning that the victim refused to give any relevant details about the crime, there wasn't enough evidence to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the suspect was indeed guilty, or the account that the victim gave didn't match the legal definition of rape or SA) was around 63% (See…
