Thank you. This is very recognizable and helped me to get my bearings more.

Although getting exposed to an idea actually does influence someone though. It takes strong indoctrination, absolute disgust and/or an outside handler to keep from being swayed by a solid experience/arguments over a period of time.

Three days? What about "wait until she contacts you" would imply you contacting her in three days? Once this girl I barely knew got incredibly angry at me for forgetting her birthday. It took her three months to contact me again. She acted like nothing happened and even remarked: "I don't know why we haven't talked for so long".

Ah, I found your jump from a documentary to a sci-fi film rather strange. That explains a lot. It seems you wrote this piece for multiple 'men-related' sub-reddits. So I guess it's harder to put it into TRP perspective. I like your horse explanation though. As well as how you point out that women have an inherent different world-view.

Are you new here? The film "The Red Pill" is not about this community at all. It is about the MRA's. Some here do sympathize with the points MRA's make, but that is pretty much where it ends.

Remember Patrice O'Neal? All he did was overtly and openly. He believed what he said and was completely sincere. Additionally, TRP is not some cheap trick. Knowing about TRP or it's concepts does not change basic human nature.

Yeah, but laws get changed over time. That's nothing new. Considering he openly told his parents and brought her along really does imply that it wasn't an abusive relationship. My guess would be that if anything about this ordeal is going to scar him, it's the police/legal involvement and being ripped away from his home. On the other hand, it might have been not optimal for his development. Although I doubt it, I really am not an expert on the psychology of young men in puberty.

He introduced hes as his girlfriend. It's statutory rape, by law. It says nothing about consent because even if he initiated it, he's not able to consent BY LAW. You assuming that he must have incredible trauma from his relationship with his teacher is just silly. You have no clue as to what went on.

But some students say the women-only lounge fills a practical need on MSU's campus. Last year, a survey found 1 in 4 college women at MSU had experienced sexual assault. The report followed a government investigation into how the university had handled rape cases, which concluded MSU had created a "a sexually hostile environment for numerous students and staff on campus.” Female students saw the lounge as a place where they wouldn’t bump into their attacker, Maturen said. “There’s this issue tha…

The father usually still has a somewhat prominent secondary role. False allegations of rape and abuse tend to be used during divorce in order to get full custody and to definitively seperate the children from their father. A dangerous game for everyone involved.

The Red Pill is good for what it was intended to be. A news source chewed up to fit with your own particular perception is silly. If you are really looking for news sources that are less about spreading ideology and their own influence, you are going to have to pay a fairly significant amount of money. The Economist would be an example. A regular subscription would be ~200 EUR a year ~150 if you are a student. I hear interesting things about The Financial Times. From what I gather this source is…

People here generally seem to enjoy celebrating that women over 40 are doomed. But this really doesn't have to be the case. I know this guy, just became thirty or something. He got together with a woman that was more than ten years his elder, already had a young child from a previous relationship and despite her still being fairly pretty, she definitely looked her age. Statistical figures in itself don't say much. Perhaps people who are in dangerous environments are both more likely to buy a gun, as well as die by one. Under common law, to constitute defamation, a claim must generally be false and have been made to someone other than the person defamed. Some common law jurisdictions also distinguish between spoken defamation, called slander, and defamation in other media such as printed words or images, called libel. You are right! You're probably not making eye contact. You look past them and keep going. People tend to automatically make way since you don't seem like you're going to stop. Years ago in the winter, I was riding my bicycle through the ice and snow to the gym during dusk. On the (one way) bicycle path, municipality workers had made two 30 cm wide paths for people to ride on. Two young women in their mid twenties rode through a red light and each took one of the paths riding the in the opposite direction makin…

Isn't Michigan also a 'no fault' state? States in the USA actually differ quite a lot when it comes to divorce. Always consult a lawyer before marriage and divorce. This is especially important when you live in a country other than the USA.

In the USA when you get married, you automatically join your estate together with your partner's estate. Once you divorce, one has to divide the joint estate. And even with an addendum, you can not be sure of the outcome. In the Netherlands one can choose never to join his estate with their partner. This makes for a lot cleaner divorce, except for partner- and child alimony.

If you live in Canada, you ought to use google to find places you can call for legal advice. The key is to UNDERSTANDING the divorce laws. In the US it seems that you can only add a clause to your marriage, which in some cases can even get thrown out. Of course then you will still face partner alimony and child support, but you wont split the total of wealth in half. Note that it's also important to ask/…

She can sue. But it might not be possible for the child to become a US citizen if the father doesn't co-operate. I am referring to the part where he agrees to financially support the child. At least this makes it quite clear that she has the legal means to request a paternity test. This, of course, says nothing about child support. Concluding: he really needs to contact a top lawyer. The sooner, the better.
