Well I would love my man to take care of himself by going to the gym, being athletic and going to the barber and hair salon also saving or waxing some areas. I also think makeup that emphasize the eyes for men (like in ancient Egypt) is sexy. I like to do the same for myself. Just like I love to see beauty around me, I love to see a beautiful cat or dog, it just bring me joy to see harmony. Than the same applies to me. When I see my skin is smooth, I feel strong and lean in my body, I make my ey…

I totally get what you mean, and yes I’m realizing about the concept of the male gaze more and more. On the other hand, all animals groom themselves and I think for a woman to be sexual and wanting to attract a mate is natural but only when you do it because of your needs. However we don’t really need to shave or do makeup. Just taking baths, moisturizing our skin, brushing our hair is often good enough for us to feel sexy. Also I found out when I dress confortable I feel sexier.

Tbh I agree with everything, but the OLD thing. I have no other ways of meeting someone, i don’t have a community, where I live friends don’t really connect you to other men, and working in a very small company there’s no one there. I’m trying religion- based apps and so far I think there is potential.

Cheers to that! Let’s take back our power! Can you expand on the modesty part? What does it mean to you, is it the clothes, the attitude? Thanks!

I read it. What did I say that is wrong, I’m genuinely interested and open to change my opinion Edit: I 100% agree on the prenup thing. I just want to understand why you consider him LV? Is it because he wants to be with another woman?

Correct me if I am wrong but my idea of HVM is not someone wanting to stay with one woman all his life. I mean two High Value people can still get a divorce. What do you girls think?

We should tell men: If you truly love someone, having sex with them is not important. I’m so fed up with us having to accept men’s primal needs and fully them, when they shame us for our needs and our wants!!

What about the movie crazy rich Asian. The guy is so mean. He lets her girlfriend alone having to defend herself against HIS crazy ex and bitter mother. I really didn’t understand this relationship. He lies to her, not letting her know how rich he is, does not prepare her to what’s coming... ughhh

A man that goes to the club and hits on the bottle girl is a hard pass for me. Do you imagine you and him not working out and you having to serve him and his friends and all the club knowing he « had » the bottle girl. Just work make your money and don’t entertain ANY man you meet (at the club).

I am NOT an advocate of Dumb Fox at work. We need to go get those money 💰 I am using it more at the first stages of dating. For me playing dumb 🦊 means not showing my cards, acting like I am not calculating at all so that they lower their défenses and be themselves. Then they feel confortable to share SO many things and I can just vet them then and there and block them if needed :) gotta keep those cards close to your chest, nobody needs to see them. Have you ever thought that by trying to be nice to him and helping him you are actually holding him back. He will resent you for accepting him at his worst. He will wish you had thrown him on the street so he could realize his full potential. You have your issues, maybe you DO need to be alone for a while in order to have a clear mind.

No usually with other women I let them in my little charade. Unless you think they could be toxic or they are your colleagues. You don’t need to worry about women going to tell on your strategy to men. Why? Because men will not listen to women ever so, they’ll just think she is jealous or something. Worst case scenario pretend to cry or to be confused 😂

I had this shower thought the other day: vampire mythical creature is actually based on men in general. For the most part they only want to take, consume, for their own pleasure. They don’t see a beautiful cow they see a steak. They don’t see a touching sweet woman, they see a hole (sorry for the crudeness). Also, sometimes when the games is rigged, you just have to use the tools you have available to get on top. Going against the grain will get you to lose your energy and time. That’s why I am …

This is so smart ! I already got the faux engagement ring so there’s that. I was thinking maybe if I wear a head covering (I am Muslim) men would leave me alone, but then I’m scared it would attract more attention than less... gosh men will never understand what we have to live with everyday

No roommates I really want to live alone. I found a studio in a huge complex on the 10th floor. So I think I won’t be bothered by burglars. I was thinking if I wear unattractive clothing or maybe a head covering I would be left alone. I just don’t know what to anticipate. But they allow dogs and I was thinking of getting one!

This made me cry. I’m crying because I am a woman, at this moment I wished I was a man. I wish I could go live on my own without being scared of what might happen to me, walk without thinking that my cleavage might be showing and that I shouldn’t attract bad attention. I wish I could go into the world, explore it, have my life of my own, be congratulated for my accomplishment without being seen as an object a man could use. Thank you for sharing.

Tbh I will take a deeper look into what he is really saying. I don’t want to encourage someone who is harmful to women. He is very articulate and goes deep in analysis, but I have to keep reminding me that it doesn’t mean his conclusions are correct. That part about “religious men” really got to me. If you’re Muslim you must know minder, and how all men label themselves as “very religious” lol the joke, they just want a woman that will be subservient to their needs on the account of religion without fulfilling his obligations. I’m not saying to fault him, just to accept that he is living with his parents and that they are a priority. You said you stayed with him because he has “plans” to move out. I’m just saying be ready for him to stay home. YOU have to decide if his position RIGHT NOW is enough for you to stay with him. Edit for wording

I’m sorry girl but you need to re-read your post. A man is not a HVM because of his career or his ability to be a responsible human being. A HVM is a man that will treat you like a queen. You are feeling alone and looking back at a relationship with a man that lied to you and wanted to string you along. Just level up (mentally and emotionally) and I ASSURE YOU that a few months from now you will re-read your post and want to bang your head against a wall for being so desperate to be with a guy t…

I think you should really not engage at all with him. Don’t try to make him understand or explain how his behaviour is disgusting. First, you’re investing yourself too much in this interaction and the fact that he knows that he can get under your skin is bad news for you. Second, he could be dangerous, most murdered women were killed by people they knew. I would limit my interactions and not show him that he affects me. To be honest it’s the same for me. Some days I feel like becoming a lesbian, some other days I feel like marrying an old/ugly man for his money, and some days when I watch old movies I feel like love exists. I feel like I am in the exact position as you, however I was never married. I want to have intimacy with someone in a relationship but to be honest these men cannot he trusted and I don’t want to be put in this position. So what I was thinking as a solution was to marry someone purely for money or convenience. That way you have the “traditional” aspect, but on the other hand you don’t really care about him since you are satisfied by the money he gives you. You can stay emotionally detached. Or f…

This on top of the fact that it’s an illusion. Objectivity doesn’t work in attractiveness, because the human experience is much more complicated. For example an average woman can trigger something from a man’s childhood, and he can become addicted to her even if “objectively” she is ranking low on the scale. Have seen this so much.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/07/20 04:20 AM

The rating system is bull crap. Hot 10/10 women like Adriana Lima and Irina Shayk get dumped, and average looking women marry the Mark Zukerberg of the world. You decide your worth and this is not bullshit. Have you ever seen an woman you thought was “ugly” but for some reason all the men wanted to be with her and the hot women were jealous of her? I have and since then I know it’s all about how much you love yourself, and for some reason that makes you more attractive to others.

To be honest, men in our culture don't ask their daughter to pay for rent. My dad may come from a traditional culture but he grew up in a american boarding shcool very far from his family, so I feel like he doesn't know anything about family. I've already warmed them up by taking an appartement for a few months this year because I was going to school which was far. Thanks I need it. I feel like I am codependent on them. We moved so many times when I was young and I feel like that made me emotionally dependent on them. I do not want to punish him, it’s just that the guilt tripping is very real and effects me a lot at the point of changing my decisions when he does not approve of something. I am used to doing things without telling him because I know he will guilt trip me and might even kick me out, I don’t know.

Same for me. I was always treated with respect and asked out for dinners on OLD. The only thing that made me stop is that I’m not interested in the men I meet on OLD, I like a more genuine approach where the interest gets to build up (at work, at school or through friends )

I feel it’s his strategy to weed out the high standard women and go directly to the doormats. Great strategy for him. It’s kind of a filter he uses. Haha really simple. Make them feel like they could tell you anything and you wouldn’t judge them. Smile, ask questions that are open ended. When there are silences, look at him and let him try to fill the blanks. Don’t give out too much info about yourself. For example: Him: so when was your last relationship You: oh it was a while ago. What about you, have you ever fallen in love? Him: bla bla my ex, bla, can’t forget about her, bla You: Oh I understand, it’s such a difficult situation, but may…

My best friend's sister's goal was to have a family. At 35 she made the choice to marry a man she didn't really love, because the most important thing for her was to have kids. She is happy with the choice she made, and all the love she wanted to give a man she uses to take care of her daughter. When push comes to shove, that's also a choice you can make, and use all the love you have inside of you to take care of your children and maybe better the community.

I was thinking the other day how marrying a gay man would actually be ideal. He could be a wonderful dad to your children AND be your best friend. It's silly but fun to think about

You need to seek help. Life is not about men. Go volunteer, watch war documentaries to get in touch with the world's sufferance. Try to make a difference, read books. Make friends, try to have fun and figure out what you really like to do. Even if you find love, what happens if he passes away? Learn to stand on your own 2 feets. The suicide ideation that you have is unhealthy and has nothing to do with dating.

Yes I’m wondering why you’re here too. Tbh if the guys are really as you describe them, I would understand better that someone would do 50/50. I respect that if the man is really as invested as you say. It might be a cultural thing, because in my culture 50/50 doesn’t really exist, even with friends. Also I would feel that a man that can and wants to provide is more of a gentleman and I would be more attracted to him. But like I said it’s probably cultural, if you say that women are happy in Swe…

I agree that in a committed relationship you would want to be more vulnerable. What I was saying is about sharing too much on social media. At the end of the day, I feel like what you put out in the universe comes back to you. I feel we gain much more to be more private on social media and it’s also classier (if that’s what you’re into).

Ok and during the dating phase, what do they do for you ? Just curious, because I would imagine that after paying half of the meal, they would still expect sex. Do people get married fast, or do men like to play the field while splitting the bill? Are women really happy with these arrangements? Edit: I don’t want to sound harsh, I’m just very curious because obviously Sweden and Scandinavia in general is very well developed and apparently people are happy.

If you are not muslim, I wouldn't recommend it. Unless you are willing to convert. Muslim men are pressured by their families to marry preferably a muslim woman for their kids to grow up in religion. I've came to realize that men categorize stuff. You will see the same man on tinder treat a woman like she is low value, but if he met her at a library he would treat her with respect. They do not understand that there are layers to things. If in his mind Tinder is for hookup, he will view all the women on it as cheap, free pr*stitutes. It's not women's fault that men are so 2 dimensional, but I feel like women choosing to OLD have to take this into account. And that's why I am not on OLD anymor…

I think it’s smart and contrary to some people I feel like you spend less energy that way. Men do not respond to clear communication with women, the only reason it works between men is because of the implicit threat of violence. As they see women as lower than them, they do not take seriously any attempt of being clear and direct. Even if you are right they will resent you for it. The interesting thing to ponder upon now that we understand the nature of men, is what is the nature of women and how can we get what we want. Reading that men are only in for sex is depressing only if you feel that in the exchange you get nothing in return. I believe that most women feel cheated because their only requirement is to feel "love". But if your needs are met, I can bet that you wouldn't feel so cheated. Lets start to figure out what we really want and not be ashamed of asking for it…

My opinion is that having IG or Snap is very low value for a man. If I find that the guy I am talking to is following models on IG and liking pictures, I am just not interested anymore. I think the problem here is more that you got attached quickly to a man without knowing anything about him. It has nothing to do with him having female friends. It has to do with you sleeping and getting attached to a man you haven’t vetted. When I date a guy and I see that he has female friends it’s such a turn off for me.

Is there any particular type of therapy you would recommend? I kind of grew up in a mentality that you have to ignore bad feelings and just keep everything inside. I’ve had the same issue due to low self estime. Many people have told me I am good looking but I just don’t believe it deep inside, even now. So when I was around attractive or popular women I would shut down. What has helped me greatly is to keep a kind of internal smile- it’s very hard to describe it.
