But what is the bigger point of makeup being a pretence? It makes you inauthentic. You're trying to appear more beautiful than you really are rather than just accepting yourself the way you are.

1

Nobody can make anyone put something on their face, exept hijabs in the middle east or something. Just because some men like women in makeup doesn't mean it isn't fake and it doesn't mean women should do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/23 11:34 AM

There are actual things to complain about when it comes to women, you know. Like what? On a related note, I encourage more men to wear makeup so they can finally shut up about it. Then men would join the pretence. Makeup itself is fake.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/23 11:32 AM

Let's not pretend that they don't wear it alot when going out.

All I'm saying is it's a pretence, it's fake. I'm not saying don't enjoy it.

And men care about how their partners look and appear even more than the women. But that doesn't change the point being made in the post. It doesn't make makeup not a pretence.

I’m not a woman. As someone who understands psychology, you should be able to still answer. You don't need to be a woman. I cannot imagine life seeing women in makeup on billboards and in movies and on social media and trying to compete with the women they see. Don't you see that this is how conditioning happens?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/23 08:01 AM

But this shows that there are reasons to wear makeup or paint your face besides insecurity. Well, yeah. It doesn't have to have only one reason. Insecurity is just one of the reasons, and almost every woman has different levels of it. Usually, the more makeup a woman wears, the more insecure she's likely to be. It's also about vanity and competing with other women in the "beauty race" as another woman said in these comments. I don't get that, but fine The point is there's a psychological reason …

you could make the same argument about using deodorant. Oh come on. How is basic hygiene the same as putting on preservatives, thickening agents, emulsifiers and other chemicals on your face that can actually cause hormone disruptions carcinogenic effects? Also, makeup is basically pretending to look a certain way, that's the point of it. What sane men actually find attractive are women who are actually natural.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/23 07:52 AM

Man, it is such a shame that so many people grow up and think they aren't allowed to enjoy certain things anymore. I'm not saying you can't enjoy it. I just prefer painting on a canvas instead of my face, but that's just me. Go to a cosplay convention and tell them painting your face isn't fun. The reality is makeup is a pretence, just like cosplay. This isn't my opinion, that's what it actually is. Look up the definition of 'pretence'.

This argument can be made about any type of grooming so it’s insane There's a difference between grooming for hygiene and wearing cosmetics, many of which are actually harmful to your skin. The cosmetics industry is a billion dollar industry because of women's insecurities. Personally lots of men should be more insecure Then they'd just be as unhappy as most women.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/23 07:34 AM
1

Why do you think someone would feel the need to wear makeup that artificially enhances their appearance? Do you think it's because they are confident and happy with how they look naturally? If so, then why the makeup and the pretence? Why hide what they look like naturally behind cosmetics, many of which are actually harmful to their skin?

only men who complain about women’s beauty rituals are men who have no access to said beautiful women so they seek to devalue them, but all in vain. Saying that makeup is a pretence isn't devaluing anyone. It's just the truth. Makeup is fake. Whether you disagree with this or whether other people downvote it or not doesn't mean it's not true. If somebody felt beautiful and confident in how they look, they wouldn't feel the need to wear it. many women love aesthetics for its own value, not to i…

Choosing to opt out of the beauty race is simply stupid as a woman You're basically saying that being authentic is stupid as a woman. Why do you need to stay in the beauty race? The most attractive women get treated the best, they have access to more attractive men, people want to be part of their social circle, they’re perceived as nicer and harder working in their career because they’re attractive. Maybe, but they're still equally insecure because they depend on other people's opinions. Woul…

It’s optimization Meaning what? which you are expected to do as a mature adult in a professional setting, aka a job Then how come men generally don't wear makeup?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/23 06:30 AM

Like I'd even give a shit if it was insecurity. Well, you would if you wanted to be healthy psychologically and have real confidence. You know....fun? Painting on your own face can be fun, but once you're mature, you go beyond that. What's fun to children isn't really fun to adults.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/23 05:58 AM

But regardless it doesn’t matter because enough men respond quite positively to this aesthetic, so clearly it’s worth it. I don't know whether or not it's worth it, but my point is that makeup is a pretence and using it comes out of insecurity and also a bit of self-centeredness.

More women in this sub at least are saying that they go 50/50 or trade off on paying for dates. Maybe, but generally speaking women expect men to pay. A woman in these comments even said its one of her requirements that the man pays. Another guy said his wife offered to pay for herself on a date but he insisted. He got laid later that night and she told him that if he hadn't insisted to pay, she wouldn't have slept with him. They got married and then she divorced him after 9 years. The guy who l…

it’s arrogant on top of hollow. You only say this because you realise you don't live in that way. and possibly born from a place of insecurity and resentment over standards you likely don’t meet. Right...I love women i date unconditionally because I'm insecure and have resentment. Makes so much sense. Unconditional love largely doesn’t exist and is a foolish idea to base adult romantic relationships on. This just tells me that you don't know what love is. and I reject it almost entirely. Because…

how old are you? And have you had serious, committed relationships before? Are you single now? None of this really matters because it doesn't change the truth of what I'm saying. When I get involved with a woman, I do it because I'm genuinely interested in the other person, and I'm not trying to get anything from them, not even their validation. Most women expect this and most women are not narcissists. They kinda are. It's just a matter of how narcissistic each woman is. Entitlement (like expecting people to spend money on you) and narcissism go together.

You’re describing a gold digger. Which is what many women are to different extents. Women are wired to seek security and bond. Literally everyone is wired to seek security and to bond. That's why they work and get in relationships. If he stops providing, his woman will still support and love him bc she doesn’t put a man’s provision and resources as the sole purpose of their relationship. If from even the first date the man is expected to provide in some way, its unlikely that once he stops the w…

You’re letting the comment of a random Redditor on here color your view of all women. Not really. I've had conversations with women who say they expect the man to pay. I've been on dates with such women, and many women have commented on this post saying why they expect a man to pay. So its more women than you think. But you'll only find out if you're dating as a straight man.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/23 07:29 AM

Having requirements to be with someone doesn’t mean you won’t love them It does. Love by its nature is unconditional. Requirements like not wanting to be abused are understandable, but when your requirements are money and material things then it has nothing to do with love. This is the reality. So I’ll assume you’re not talking about me actually and just talking about things in theory then. You said if he doesn't pay that tells you you're not compatible. So I am talking about you. They don’t nee…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/23 07:26 AM
1

Maybe, but not immediately. He's still paying for it. The lazy and impatient will not wait They will if they paid. Basic logic would tell you that if someone spends money, they expect something in return.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/23 05:39 AM
1

You’re paying money to have a meal, conversation, interaction, and a chance at a second date with me, not sex This all eventually leads to sex. And the fact that you need a man to pay to spend time with you is a major redflag. Any self respecting man would avoid such a woman because she's a parasite. Consequently, any man who puts up with that has no self respect, which works out for you because they're easier to manipulate.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/23 05:15 AM
1

He’s paying for me to not say no to interacting with him Hahaha what a lucky guy. Sounds like prostitution to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/23 05:10 AM
1

the men who don’t actually like interacting with women don’t want to do this This doesn't mean anything. The point is men pay to increase their chances of getting laid. Not vecayse you're amazing or because they're nice people. Even men who hate women still pay for dates.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/23 02:25 AM

"Asking your partner for a material desire/need" does not = "your relationship is only based on material things" If the requirement for you to be with him is him giving you material things then that is not love. act, if your partner wants to have an active sex life. Intimacy and material things aren't the same. Real love is something that deepens and builds over time. What is "real love"? I'll be fair and say that there can be varying levels of love - There's either love or there isn't. There ar…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/23 02:21 AM

No one has ever paid me for sex. Not directly. I've only ever had sex because of a genuine and heartfelt intimate connection that I wanted to manifest physically with someone else because of attraction. Wasn't that attraction dependent on him paying for dates? It simply tells me things about him that ultimately mean as much as I may enjoy his company that he is not someone I can select for a long-term survival commitment. Exactly. Because it's not so much about him, it's about money and him spen…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/23 12:46 AM

It does for me and is also logical. Then you don't really understand men very much. Any man who has experience with women knows paying increases his chances of getting laid. “Game” is about getting sex for free, No, it isn't.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/23 12:34 AM
1

"If you want a material thing from your partner, that's what your relationship is based on and you can't really care about If your relationship is based on material things then it can't be based on love. This is obvious yo anyone who knows what love is. And ofcourse if you aren't able to extract the things you want, you'll find someone else to take them from.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/23 12:31 AM

My narcissism has nothing to do with men not wanting to pay. Your narcissism is why you expect men to pay for you. Obviously.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/23 12:28 AM

You were raised in such a culture where broke men were laughed at. That same culture traumatised you.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/23 12:27 AM

Would you mock a person in a wheelchair? If that person were making fun of others, maybe.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/23 12:09 AM

I don't think most prostitutes would feel I should put myself in their ranks having never had to do any sex acts with a man I find repugnant. No, but you require some form of payment for sex basically. You have more in common with them than you think. I'm not giving fake attention to someone I find gross and unworthy. Bit isn't that attention based on him paying for dates and other stuff? And it isn't a transaction therefore. It is if its dependent on him spending money on you.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 04:54 PM
1

And it works It actually doesn't. Most men pay to increase their chances of getting laid. They know its just a transaction and they're willing to pay.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 04:33 PM
1

and I have never been dependent on a man who wasn’t my biological father If you go on a date with a man expecting him to pay, how is that not depending on him? If you expect him to provide, is that not dependence?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 04:28 PM
1

Everything isn't that different from prostitution if you refuse to see the glaring differences and aren't being good faith. No, expecting someone to spend money on you with you giving them your attention and more in return basically is prostitution. Its just another transaction.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 04:26 PM

You when you say they are conditioned Conditioning doesn't mean someone can't learn new skills. It means how they see the world and how they behave is based on how they were raised and taught as a child.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 04:11 PM
1

Men being bad is the very reason women don’t feel any obligation to be better You don't see how men can make the exact same argument but about women? Don't blame men for you not being a better person.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 04:10 PM

Well, my whole point is that people aren't necessarily good, or doing fine due to how they were nurtured so I don't understand your point.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 04:08 PM
1

That's not a logically sound conclusion at all Ofcourse it is. If the relationship is based on extracting material things among other things from the other person then its not based on love. It's so obvious. You may care about the person to some extent, but again, that's dependent on him providing the material things you want. If he doesn't provide, what happens? You find another provider. You can agree or disagree, but that doesn't change the reality of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 04:05 PM

There's a difference between learning to do something with your body as a child and being psychologically conditioned. The argument of "nobody showed me how to do something when i was a kid" is not only weak, but also makes the person look kind of stupid for never figuring out on his own how to do basic things. Who's making this argument?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 03:55 PM

This is what I mean when I say you're ignorant. You're not even making sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 03:53 PM
1

OK, but why is it still an issue now? You don't think what happened in the recent past affects the present? Until probably the late 70s or something it was the norm for men to play provider while women play the nurturers. How all those previous generations were raised obviously has an impact on the world we live in today. Women have done their part entering the workforce, And yet they still want men to provide and pay for their stuff.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 03:52 PM

Read back your original comment. I meant that its what I'm saying in the original post.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 03:33 PM

Humans are actually quite good at mitigating individual selfishnes This doesn't make them good. Mitigating negative traits doesn't make someone good.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 03:27 PM
1

you just care about yourself Says you... nd your opinions. What opinions? The “truth” is that men are at least equally bad I don't disagree with that. But if you made a post about the ways in which men are bad, I wouldn't say "women are equally bad". I would just actually address your points.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 03:25 PM
1

Well, like I said, if its about material things and money then its just a transaction. And genuinely caring about each other is just an act.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 03:23 PM

And yet, fathers didn't get involved. Unfortunately those fathers were conditioned to only be good at playing the role of provider and protector by their mothers and society when they were kids.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 03:21 PM

Why should women be better when men aren’t? Because its not intelligent to drag yourself down to the level of men just because they won't change. Oh right, it’s because you only care about what women do We, I only date women so I interact with them more and have to deal with their lack of awareness. That sounds like narcissism and self centeredness to me Well, no because its not about me. I'm just making observations about how women behave. why should the world conform to what only you want ? Wh…
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 03:20 PM

but your reason is men don't have the time I'm saying though out history until just recently. Even today women are still seen as the more nurturing and empathetic ones, which isnt necessarily true.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 03:16 PM

People seem to be doing fine Only superficially. Do you really think the fact that there's always wars going on and children going missing and being abused and all the violence in the world isn't a reflection of people's collective mental state?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 03:14 PM

them coming home and doing everything they did before they were providers. So they are still doing most of the nurturing, right?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 03:10 PM

The fact that its a lie.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 03:09 PM
1

I'm not saying men are any better. I don't pick sides, I just say the truth.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 03:08 PM

yet some men haven't stepped up despite not being the sole provider. Okay, the men haven't stepped up. So who's been picking up the slack?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 03:07 PM

You're right. It wasn't a choice for women to be the nurturers, but they still had to do it. And because they felt it wasn't a choice , they didn't take much care in nurturing and teaching the kids. They only nurtured enough so the kids survive, but they didnt really teach them about things that matter.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 03:06 PM

There is such a thing of nature vs nurture and i think it was even studied up to a degree. Yeah, and the results showed that how people turn out is usually due to nurture not nature. Fathers can step up their game and get involved in the child's life actively. They can, but women expect them to mostly just be providers and protectors. If a man spends most of his time trying to provide then he only has a limited time to get involved in their lives. No sane mother would deny the father the possibi…

most men do not have any idea what a women with no makeup looks like. Could that be partially because women wear makeup alot? You are rather rare if that is the case. Well, to me it makes sense to see what what a woman looks like naturally so I know if I'm genuinely attracted to her or not. I've been with women where I didnt get to see them without makeup until a few dates down the line and the attraction wasn't there anymore. It wasn't even a choice. They think naturalistic make-up palettes (wh…

However I did not, nor am I am going to in the future if I should one day be dating again, conform to the expensive and uncomfortable beauty standards to please them unless I am compensated. I actually prefer women come to our date with no makeup. I like seeing what the person I'm talking to actually looks like naturally. So expecting a man like me to pay for you on a date to compensate you for conforming to " expensive and uncomfortable beauty standards". Doesn't make any sense. What pleases me…

That way of thinking is abhorrent. Expecting to be provided for by another adult in exchange for pretending to care about him is abhorrent. Why cant you see a man providing for his woman bc he wants to offer her security and make her happy? The fact that without him providing his woman would not be interested in him and would stop pretending to care means the man does it to keep her liking him. The man wants to make his woman happy by providing for her. The woman wants to be made happy by being …

If someone isn’t giving you the things you need most or doesn’t match up with your values, you should evaluate why you’re in that relationship and your feelings can definitely change. If the things you need are money and material things then you never cared about him in the first place. who can give you what you need and desire most Yeah, but not material things. It's parasitic to not work for free It's parasitic to expect men to pay for your meals/bills. How is it not? Also, what does work have to do with going on a date with someone?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 08:06 AM
1

The answer is you don’t know anything about my relationship Maybe not, but I understand your self centerd mentality. Which tells me enough. Relationships are about giving and taking, That doesn't mean that you're supposed to be entitled to be given things, and change how you feel about someone when they don't give you what you expect.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 08:00 AM

Well, my man has been paying all the bills for the past 10 years, and he's not complaining. And yet you're still unhappy and insecure. This means whatever you're doing isn't working.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 07:56 AM
1

See, someone who's expecting to be compensated isn't going to be impressed if you refuse to set a precedent for it in even a tokenistic way. Good. I'm not interested in being with a parasitic woman. Therefore, splitting the bill or going 50/50 will make the parasites remove themselves from my life. It's the easiest and quickest way to weed them out. I'm interested in intelligent women, not the kind of parasitic woman you're describing.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 07:54 AM

How exactly do you know what I did or didn’t give in return? Because your comment is all about you and what you can get from the other person. /r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 07:47 AM

You need a woman to help pay the bills. No, just her own bills. I need her to not be a parasite the man will pay the bills Because he understands that he's essentially dealing with a prostitute where payment is required. No man genuinely respects a woman like this.

/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 07:37 AM

And being entitled never did me any harm so I'm good. It's don't alot if harm. It's one of the reasons women have been oppress med throughout history. For example, if you're entitled to a man laying for your food on a date, what's the point if you having the right to work?

Yes, crazy that people want things from other people, isn’t it? Yeah, it is. Especially when you don't even care about those people. But you do it for free food and other benefits, which means you've turned yourself into a prostitute.

people are instinctually drawn to men who present as providers and women get this unpleasant needling feeling of insult (against their free will) about men who go 50-50. Only women who use men and don't actually care much about them. That's the point of my post, which you've just proved with your comment. It is possible to be intelligent and not desire financial independence in the context of a marriage. It’s simply not a question of intelligence but of values. It depends on how you define intelligence. Also those values aren't really theirs, they're borrowed from the past, they're basically just copying and pasting them. Since there are men who prefer the ‘man pays for everything on early dates’ dynamic I disagree that the only relationships that arise out of this dynamic are not real. You'd hav…

It's just a transaction, just like when that same guy goes to an escort. Expect with an escort, he actually gets what he paid for. but for some reason you can’t accept it If you read the post you'll notice that my point is all that stuff makes women basically incapable of love.

I don't control my wife I'm just defining the words you're using. It's not me saying it. all relationships boil down to power and control.... In the world they do. But for me they don't, which is why I'm against the idea of anyone submitting to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 04:16 PM

Wanting to lead doesn’t make anyone insecure. It actually does because it means you want to be followed, which is what the ego wants. The desire to lead is just as bad as the desire to follow. It's just that the one who follows has less intelligence, or atleast thinks they do. They aren’t necessarily meek or passive at all. In some way they are, hence the word "submisive", which is also defined as being passive. Insecure in what? In wanting to be followed to feel powerful and masculine.

If you’re stuck on the whole “50/50” thing then that means you need to look at yourself... women who cry “Where have all the good men gone” are stupid bitches who take good men for granted? No, but they definitely have no self awareness. If they did, they wouldn't ask that dumb question. If men want to be compensated to not feel used, why is it bad when women do it? Not wanting to be used by women by treating them like an adult and going 50/50 isnt compensation. What's in it for a woman if she pays the bills, does everything at home, takes care of the children, keeps up with female beauty standards, and doesn't even get to have the same amount of orgasms and social benefits that a man receives when he's partnered with a woman? So to balance this, you want some form of payment from your partner?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 10:37 AM

Your comment said: " Being subservient means unconditional obedience. " And I said only sheep have unconditional obedience. What about that doesn't make sense? It's the same as submissiveness.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 10:34 AM
-3

Care to elaborate rather than defaulting to childish insults? Anybody who fits themselves into pre-made roles by society can't be that intelligent. For example, where do you think the tradition of men providing came from? From the days when you were not allowed to work or vote. To want to go back to these roles, implies a lack of intelligence.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 10:32 AM
-5

They benefit men too. Only the idiots who can't think outside the box.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 10:28 AM

Being subservient means unconditional obedience. ' Only sheep have unconditional obedience.

We can go back and forth forever. I believe it's most women, and you don't. Fair enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 10:26 AM
1

"so many women" a handful of FDS type women you mean? No, many women are like that. doesn't mean it's "most women" It is most women though.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 10:18 AM

I like traditional gender roles Ofcourse. Because they benefit you and stroke your ego.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 10:17 AM
3

You have said this post isn't about that Yeah, but I didn't say I have an issue with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 10:16 AM
9

Submissive doesn’t mean subservient. The word submissive literally means "ready to conform to the authority or will of others; meekly obedient or passive.". I'm not interested in dating sheep. I’m not sure what being secure has to do with this. Anybody who wants others to submit to them has to be insecure. And you shouldn’t berate women who want a traditional relationship just because you don’t want one. Telling the truth isn't berating anyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 09:52 AM
2

Either way, you proved my point for me, so thanks :)
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 09:10 AM

I never said there was an issue with that.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 09:09 AM

your opinions are totally irrelevant to me And yet you spent time responding to my post and actually proving it to be true.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 09:07 AM
2

Is it not material when you're using a woman for labour? I don't use women for labour.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 09:06 AM
2

I'm not complaining. Just pointing out that women like you are incapable of loving men, all you do is use them, and yet you wanna be loved by them.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 09:05 AM
3

is submissive to you I'm not interested in people who submit to me because I'm secure within myself. Any woman who is submissive to a man has no self respect. I am a traditional man. And that's the problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 09:04 AM
1

all i want in a man is to protect me From what?? i provide my femininity What is "femininity"? And how do you provide it? and make me feel loved through driving me/walking on the left side. You sound narcissistic. It's all about YOU.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 09:01 AM
3

She has zero self-awareness.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 08:56 AM

I would never date a man who insists on 50/50! Like I said in the first line of the post, most women don't love men and they just use them. You're a good example of this. I think it’s fair considering the time and money put into my appearance Please stop. I find it emasculating for them. How kind and compassionate of you to feel emasculated for men who treat you like an adult. You've just proved the point of my post. Well done.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 08:53 AM

Traditional women expect the man to initiate, to invite and to pay Traditionally women were not allowed to vote or work. So "traditional" women can't be that intelligent since they want things to be as they were in the past.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 08:19 AM
2

Okay, good to know you approve of the first 3 sentences.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 08:17 AM
4

A woman's physical appearance doesn't change the way I treat her so this doesn't change the point of my post. In fact, I've been on dates with women I found really attractive and still split the bill. I find it to be a great way of weeding out women who aren't on my wavelength, regardless of their appearance.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 07:56 AM
6

So you use men to stop them from using you? Amazing.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 07:38 AM
5

Again, because the post isn't about that. It's about women using men for material things.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 07:06 AM
-6

How much of the post did you read?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 06:50 AM
-6

Not once in your post did you mention housework, cooking, cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, etc. Because the post isn't about that. Also because those are basic things that everyone should do.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 06:49 AM
3

This doesn't actually address anything I said in the post. Its just complaining about imaginary men.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 06:42 AM
12

What does this have to do with the content of the post? It not even relevant to the title of the post.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 06:21 AM
5

Well, I'm not most men.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 06:01 AM
3

Yeah, but what does that have to do with what I wrote in the post?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 05:36 AM
4

In other words, you only use men. No different to a parasite.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 05:09 AM
1

How is a man paying all your bills equality? I don't think you know what that word means.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 05:08 AM
2

We need alot more to get going. Like money and material things...
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 05:07 AM
2

Because she's so special.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 05:06 AM
3

Why would I need someone if I have to pay any bills? Are you even aware of the nonsense you're saying?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/23 05:02 AM
1

What?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 10:30 AM
2

How is the state involved in your marriage contract? Can you break up Without them getting involved? If you have to get divorced? Yeah, exactly. the government sets rules for each and every contract you sign. You'd have to be unintelligent to sign a contract where the government sets the rules for your relationship and how you break up. Intelligent people appreciate rules and play along them. Not rules made by some corrupt entity that doesn't actually care about your well-being.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 11:35 AM
3

Government approval means you get legal benefits and protection. All that stuff is the stuff people want when they don't really love each other. If they did, none of that would matter, and they wouldn't choose to get the government involved in their marriage just for social and financial benefits.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 11:32 AM
3

Because they're less likely to go against something they approved of and are giving special privileges to. Why do you feel the need to get approval for your relationship? When you get married you have love The marriage is an indication there is no love there in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 11:06 AM
2

freedom can't be the only ideal For you maybe, to each their own.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 11:04 AM
2

Every contract is "with the government" No, the government only gets involved once there is breach of contract. But the contract isn't with the government, its just the regulator. This is why you can terminate the contract without the government getting involved, unlike marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 10:49 AM
2

You don’t sign a contract „with the government“ when you marry. You do. The contract is between you, your partner and the state, which is the government. if they are broken the government will enforce pre set rules…. Yeah, which are for unintelligent people.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 10:46 AM
3

So you'd prefer your relationship to be completely defenceless against that government How is getting the government involved in your relationship going to defend you against that same government lied? That makes no sense. If you only promise to be with your partner and won't even marry, all you have is words. Not really, its called love, marriage is just a substitute for it.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 10:45 AM
2

it compares well Only in the sense that they're both contracts, but there are different types of contracts, and signing one with the government is exceptionally stupid.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 10:13 AM
3

If you think the government is corrupt, why wouldn't you want your relationship to be legally recognised and protected? By that same corrupt government? That's silly. Do you trust the government to want to keep your family together if it doesn't even acknowledge you're in a relationship? The government isn't involved in my relationships in anyway and it doesn't need to be. saying they'll be together forever, It means nothing, it's literally just words, hence the high divorce rates. most intellig…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 10:11 AM
2

But you still didn’t answer the question, Your questions have nothing to do with marriage and what my post is about.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 10:01 AM
2

So how does it mean „the same“ today? Because it means what it has always meant, which is basically something you spend the rest of your life paying, and if you don't, your house gets taken from you. But none of this has to do with my post, which you've already proven to be right so you're just wasting your time at this point.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 09:28 AM
2

Obviously it doesn't mean literal death. It's a metaphor, like all words that have a deeper meaning. Even in yhe past, 'mortgage' didn't mean literal death.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 09:14 AM
1

Your argument is it’s the same today, It's the same today, because we still use the same word for it, which means it means what it has always meant. Isn't this obvious? If the word 'mortgage' didn’t mean a death pledge, it wouldn't be called that.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 09:08 AM
2

What makes you think a mortgage means something different today than it did in the past?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 08:57 AM
1

What makes you think it's any different today?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 08:29 AM
2

That has nothing to do with what mortgages are today That's literally what the word means, how can it have nothing to do with it?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 07:42 AM
2

Well, the latin root meaning of 'mortgage' is 'death pledge', and I don't see any intelligent person knowingly signing a death pledge.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 07:19 AM
2

Nah, just those with a marriage contract. If you sign a contract with crazy stipulations like marriage does, you can't be that intelligent.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 06:32 AM
1

why do you refuse to answer? Because there's no need, you proved my point for me. Why would any intelligent person sign a contract that makes breaking up a breach of contract? The answer is ofcourse no intelligent person would do this.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 06:14 AM
1

You've already proven the whole point of my post.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 06:09 AM
1

This is exactly what I mean. You'd have to be an idiot to sign a contract that makes so that breaking up is a breach of contract and therefore you have to go to court. You're proving my point for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 06:06 AM
1

In marriage the government only gets involved if there is breach of contract and the other party takes you to court for that. No, they get involved when you decide to break up, and then they decide how much money the wife gets and how often a man can see his children. Only idiots sign up for this. It’s not like you marry the government. You technically do, hence the 3 way contract.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 06:02 AM
2

The government gets involved only once there is breach of contract and the company decides to take legal action, but the contract isn't between you and the government. How do you not understand this?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 05:58 AM
2

So contracts in general involve the government No, they don't. A phone plan contract for example is between you and the phone company, not the government.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 05:55 AM
2

but it sure is comparable in many ways. Okay, but so what?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 05:48 AM
3

If you think a phone plan contract between you and a private comlany is the exact same as a marriage contract between you, your partner and the government, then im not even sure what to say to you.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 05:45 AM
1

Why don’t you answer my question? Because they have nothing to do with my post.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 05:42 AM
3

No there’s not. Okay, if you say so.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 05:37 AM
1

Again, there is a difference between signing a contract for a mortgage or a phone plan with a private corporation, and signing a 3 way contract for your relationship between you, your partner and the government. This seems obvious.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 05:29 AM
1

do you also bemoan your lease for your apartment? I've never had that problem, so I don't care. Even if I had, that's different to being so stupid as to get the government involved in your relationship by signing a 3 way contract. The fact that you don't see this means you don't understand much.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 05:22 AM
0

No matter what kind, no matter what for. Yeah, so why sign one for your relationship? That's stupid.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 05:19 AM
-3

Why would you have to go to court to breakup with your partner, if you're not married? Edit: The people downvotting this logical question must be mentally challenged.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 05:13 AM
1

They’re just going along passively Yeah, because they benefit from doing so. If they didn't benefit from it, they would question the "tradition" of men paying, just like they questioned not being allowed to work back when that tradition began.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 03:48 AM
1

and they are easy to spot and avoid. Yeah, you split the bill and watch them reveal themselves. That's the point.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 02:18 AM
1

This describes every man I dated before my husband, So doesn't this make you sexist as well then since you're basically agreeing with me?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 02:17 AM
1

You’re way too angry about this my dude. Not really. I'm not angry at all, but okay. It’s just the way they were raised. Yeah, I know. But that doesn't mean I shouldn't point out the behaviour and what's wrong with it. Some kids were raised to be selfish, that doesn't mean you can't point out their selfishness
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 02:16 AM
1

Here's one of the comments that someone left in response to this post that illustrates my point:"My ex wife offered, but said later if I had accepted, there would not have been 2nd date" . He was talking about her offering to pay for herself on a date. This is my point. I'm not saying she didn't like you on some level, but her interest in you may also have been dependent on whether or not you got separate orders or split the bill.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/23 06:14 AM
0

Believe it or not, that's actually how they think. Just read some of the comments from women in response to this post.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/23 05:56 AM
1

What do you mean?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/23 02:20 AM
1

Spoken like a true broke dude. If she genuinely likes you, whether you're broke or not doesn't matter. This is an obvious fact.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/23 02:19 AM
1

I made this post because I hang out with women.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/23 04:27 PM
2

She’s basically saying most girls don’t care about sex, I don't have to agree with everything she says to like her book, but also that's not what she's saying, I know because i read the whole book. Also, I know women care about sex from my own personal experience. Reproduction is literally the whole point of life from nature's point of view, so women not caring about sex wouldn't make sense because that means less reproduction.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/23 04:53 AM
2

Not everyone does They don't have to believe it for it to be true.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/23 12:06 AM
1

The “gold digger” type woman is after material luxury. You paying for dates is a sign you'll be able to provide them with that.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/23 12:06 AM
2

https://www.reddit.com/r/PurplePillDebate/comments/12d1u40/if_it_wasnt_for_sex_most_men_would_not_bother/ This means sex is all most women have to offer.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/23 12:04 AM
2

That is what men say When and where have they said this, and to who?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 11:47 PM
1

If I’m paying for a date, that clearly means I wasn’t rejected You're afraid if you don't pay, you won't get another date, hence getting rejected. It’s insane to me that you actually believe that most women go on dates just for free food. If a woman expects you to pay for her food on a date, she's clearly there primarily for free food.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 11:39 PM
3

Yeah, no.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 11:25 PM
1

A woman looking for financial security and stability is not at all the same as some greedy gold digger looking to “use” a man for his money. A gold digger is also looking for financial security. They're not that different.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 11:02 PM
1

Scarcity mindset to the max. Scarcity mindset is paying coz you're afraid of rejection. If I pay for a woman’s dinner, then at minimum I’m sharing a meal with a beautiful and interesting woman, with the possibility for more in the future. Yeah, and if you don't pay there's no possibility for more. Because it's not you she likes, it's the free food.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 11:00 PM
2

Yeah, okay.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 10:52 PM
1

She got food, I got sex That's called a transaction. Might as well see a prostitute at that point.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 04:19 PM
7

I don't date or chase women.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 03:52 PM
8

certainly myself and many others are perfectly fine splitting meals at dates. That's good. But many women still aren't at that stage.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 02:42 PM
6

Accountability for your actions? What actions? Talking to women who like me?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 02:40 PM
7

that’s a bad lie be less transparent Whether you believe me or not doesn't actually matter to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 01:05 PM
6

but these girls are just not that into you They actually are. Which is why even though I've stopped dating and chasing women, they still talk to me and wanna hang out, even the ones with boyfriends.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 09:15 AM
6

You're not wrong. Except women also care about sex, it's the biological programming.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 07:03 AM
-2

That's alot of Redpills right there. 'The Manipulated Man' is a great book.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 06:39 AM

Okay?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 06:21 AM
8

they have their own money. And yet they still expect men to pay for dates, otherwise there is no second date. Strange.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 06:07 AM
6

In what way?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 05:18 AM
1

Oh okay. Interesting.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 01:23 AM
1

And do you think its okay for a man to be prejudiced against women?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 01:21 AM
1

What's the definition of misogyny then?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 01:18 AM
1

I said I wouldn’t argue with someone who called me that. Exactly. That's another way of saying you are a misandrist. it’s probably not that far off base. Exactly. So its not true to say you genuinely don't hate men like you said.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 01:16 AM
1

I genuinely don’t hate men. But you called yourself a misandrist? And you also said you don't like men.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 01:09 AM
1

Okay.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 12:59 AM
1

Many men have had to do the same thing. And its just as disgusting. But altleast the men don't claim to hate the women they get paid to sleep with. and that’s just one more reason for me to think very little of men in general. No it isn't. You just hate men and look for any excuse to justify your hate.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 12:59 AM
1

Exactly.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 12:57 AM
1

Good one. You've proved my whole post wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 12:57 AM
1

You’re certainly not making a great case for other men by calling me disgusting though. Im calling the behaviour of exchanging sex for money and free food disgusting, which it actually is if youre willing to be honest with yourself. Especially since you hate the men you get with. I'm not gonna pretend it isn't just because you had a rough past.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 12:52 AM
1

How? Don't worry I know you can't answer coz your just saying stuff.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 12:50 AM
1

I’m not sure who you’re talking about. I'm talking about you or anyone who has the parasitic mentality you're defending. I did say that men have offered to pay for me. Because they know if they don't, there probably won't be a second date ciz it was never about the human connection.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 12:50 AM
1

He wasn’t the only man who abused me. 100 men could've abused you. This still doesn't reflect on all men.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 12:48 AM
1

This doesn't actually mean anything. You know I'm right.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 12:46 AM
1

They’re trash and broke and lack social etiquette. This means nothing coming from someone who demands that men pay for her food.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 12:46 AM
1

I said that I was in that position because of men. You were in that position because of one man, your father.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 12:38 AM
1

This is why I prefer splitting the bill, because it gets the entitled trash to take itself out.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 12:38 AM
1

, they’re probably broke Unlike the women who have a problem with paying for their own meal, right? and lack basic social etiquette. Where's the social etiquette in demanding that another person oay for your food? Please tell me.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 12:36 AM
1

I’m disabled because my father beat me. That's terrible. But how is the fault of men in general?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 12:35 AM
1

made the choice to do what I needed to do in order to not be homeless or hungry So weren't in that position because of men... That’s on my father for beating me Your abusive father doesn't represent all men, just like abusive women don't represent all women. I have to say though, it's no surprise that a woman who hates men thinks men should pay on dates. Your basically proving the point of my post for me. By splitting the bill, I weed out women like you.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 12:31 AM
1

And the reason I was in that position in the first place was because of men. How? I thought you said it's a choice you made? let some internet asshole make me feel like there’s something wrong with me for doing so. Sorry. There's definitely something wrong with you spending your time having sex with men you hate for money. That is low.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 12:26 AM
1

I could not care less. So why did you mention it? This applies to people who think this way too Not really. The trash people are those who use other people for free food no less. Disgusting.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 12:24 AM
1

I don’t like men. Okay, good for you. Ironically, the reason you were able to afford rent and food when you were a prostitute is because of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 12:23 AM
1

Men can’t be trusted in a relationship. They’re only good for one thing. If I say this about women, I'm labelled a misogynist but it's cool for you to say it.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 12:20 AM
1

It’s sad that basic facts hurt your feelings. What facts? And how do they hurt my feelings? If a woman only wants to date men who do this she’s welcome to. I agree, but that makes her a trash person who is entitled. But she's free to be that kind of person, just like I'm free to point out that she's a trash person.

Men create the market for sex work, and men then turn around and call women disgusting for participating in it. At what point are the women participating in it responsible for their actions?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 12:16 AM

Some women prefer men who also prefer to treat. It's the same mentality as the women who use men. That doesn’t make them entitled. It actually does. That's the definition of entitled. It’s a style of dating that pre-dates you. Yeah, it goes back to when women had less rights and weren't allowed to work. Arrogance is thinking you know why people do what they do You can call it what you want but that's why men pay. They don't do it out of selflessness. Because men established courting practices. Y…

If you don’t know what toxic views are - No, I'm asking you what toxic views I've expressed that you're referring to. And you’re throwing a fit over it and insisting on labeling people who have men pay for their dinner trash. Well, it's the truth. Only entitled women expect men to pay for them, that's the definition of entitled. Plenty of men enjoy treating women. Because they feel the only way to keep women's attention is to buy them stuff. What does that make them? Simps and weak men. Now you’…

I don’t find anything wrong with sex work either Ofcourse not, you're already half way there by trading sex for free food. Thats actually sad.

It is toxic to hold toxic views about women. Like what for example? You can disagree with someone’s culture without personally attacking someone. I'm not attacking anyone, just pointing out what the reality is. People are not required to abandoned their belief systems to appease you. If their belief system requires me to spend money on them and put them on a pedestal I can atleast point out how dumb they are.

It's not an opinion it's a fact. Anyone who trades sex for free food is a trash person. May as well be an escort at that point.

Just your toxic views about women. It's not toxic to treat women like adults. The scenario is painting anyone with the expectation as trash even if she may be engaging in her own culture/customs The fact that she doesn't question her culture and customs makes her kinda trash. For example, why is the traditional norm for men to pay for women? Because in the past women weren't allowed to have jobs, but now they are and yet they wanna be treated the same way they were when they had less rights. Tha…

I can conclude bullshit about you too. The difference is I'm not entitled, therefore I don't expect anyone to buy me stuff just because of my gender. Doesn’t make me right about who you are as a person or your motives. If I say women have to pay for my food otherwise I won't see them again, you can definitely tell I'm a trash person who wants to use women for free food. Woman manages domestic labor and child bearing/rearing. Exactly, which is essentially doing nothing much. However, some people …

You can’t determine anyone’s nature based on their expectations about whether a man pays on a first date. I definitely can. Any woman who has a problem with paying for food she's gonna eat is a trash human being. She may also have the subsequent expectations of serving a traditional role This just means she wants the man to work and cater to her while she stays at home. So you might be shooting yourself in the foot by assuming that her not wanting to pay for her own meal is nefarious. Not really…

Some men like paying for dinner and being "traditional". Yeah, simps do. She might have spent more than she wanted to on a clothing item, or shoes, or makeup. She sounds like a basic bitch. Buy the woman dinner for gods sake. Nah. I don’t agree. It’s biological. You don't have to agree with it for it to be true. The fact that women behave consistently the same way cross culturally indicates that it’s biological rather than every culture coincidentally choosing to socially program exactly the same way. That's literally what has happened, except it's not coincidental. If it were biological, then every woman to ever exist would've been like that, but there are some who aren't because they see through the programming. What is…

If they dont, I pay but there will be no second date after that. Exactly, coz it's not really about connecting with another person, it's all about getting what you want. I never tell them that I will see it that way. You don't have to, many women see it that way, so to be safe men just pay. I never force them to pay for me. You said if they don't pay, you'll think they're not interested. It's the same thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/23 06:00 AM

Some guys will pay for the woman Because It's just a transaction. They pay because they know if they don't, you won't be interested. They're basically paying you for your time.

But my point is that women aren't wired to be this way. It has nothing to do with how they're "wired". It's just social programming. they still want men who also can provide and aren't just satisfied with some low income man Because they're self centred and entitled. she'll almost always choose the "provider" Yeah, because she's looking for someone to use as a provider, not a real partner. I don’t think “most women” would stop talking to a dude they have chemistry with if they find out he makes “a little less” sounds like some gold digger stuff. Many would. If a woman is so broke that she has a problem paying for her own food, then maybe she shouldn't be dating. Do you ever wonder why women don't pay for men's meals but expect to be paid for?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/23 12:22 AM
-1

Maybe those women are looking for a provider Yeah, exactly. They're looking for someone to use as a provider, not a genuine partner. A man paying for a date is making a fitness display to a potential mate. Great, then keep displaying your fitness to women. Good luck.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/23 12:20 AM

No wonder “men” like you can’t get dates. I get dates, I just don't get used for free meals. Paying for the meal 1) shows that the man is serious, How? 2) shows that the man has resources and isn’t afraid to share them. Given that dating is riskier for women, they have every right to filter out potential dates by the two criteria I just mentioned. You're kind of a simp.

/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/23 07:33 PM

Well me and you clearly don’t think the same way It might have something to do with the fact that most women lose interest in a guy once they find out he doesn't have as much money as they want him to have or that he won't spend it on them. So there's not much benefit to a guy talking about that before a date, its just another way to get ghosted. Also, it gets tedious, always having to discuss payment with women every time you wanna hang out. May as well just deal directly with escorts if that's…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/23 07:29 PM

The free meals are a sign that they'll be able to use a guy for the material things they want while dating. So its not really about the free meal, but about seeing how willing a guy is to be used.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/23 06:00 PM
2

She is not gonna suddenly like an ugly guy because he spent 200$ on her dinner. Exactly. Paying for the dinner just gives her an incentive to pretend to be into him.

This isn't a pissing match, competition or game of "gotcha". You can't answer because you realise how ridiculous what you said is. It seems you have an adversarial attitude towards women. Yeah, I'm adversarial towards women because I like treating then like equals. Makes sense.

Not really. It says more about people like your ex wife because she's willing to drop a connection with someone over a free meal. That's gross.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/23 05:00 PM

If you really think a hamburger is what it’s all about, It clearly was to your ex wife so much so that if you hadn't bought it for her, she wouldn't have wanted to see you again, regardless of what kind of person you were. This means who you are as a human being didn't actually matter to her, and now she's your ex wife.

I think this is fair and if I was talking to a dude and he explained “look, you seem cool, I’d like to meet up, but let me know what your price range is in food because I don’t pay for the first date. Too many bad experiences of women playing nice, just to get a free meal and some drinks then they bounce.” If going on a date with someone means I'm going to have to talk to them about payment and price ranges then I'd rather not bother. Instead, I laid and we had sex that night. Escorts also sleep with you in exchange for payment, like your ex wife did. The only difference is escorts don't pretend to like you for more than your money. you can definitely miss out on some good stuff with your plan. I miss out on sleeping with entitled and greedy women. I don't really mind that.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/23 04:44 PM

Why would a man be so selfish and jaded that he can't spare 20-40 bucks once or twice a month for a first date with a woman? Why would a woman be so selfish and greedy that she can't spare 20-40 bucks for food she's gonna eat?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/23 04:38 PM

People are wired genetically to want to reproduce This doesn't justify the greed and entitlement of demanding that someone should provide for you because of your gender. Things have to be this way or else animal species would just die out. The species wouldn't die out if women paid for their own meals and stopped using men. It would actually evolve psychologically.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/23 04:37 PM

During those times, they need men to provide. If a woman is already projecting all this stuff onto me on the first date then I don't need her in my life because she has issues. She doesn't even know if I want kids or not.

Money is always going to be an issue for people who don’t have much money It shouldn't be an issue when making a connection with someone. They are women who want sexual relationships with men who show that they are generous and have good finances. They sound like entitled narcissists. Why don't they show that they're generous and considerate by paying for their own meal? Because they only care about themselves, and its best to avoid sexual relationships with them. it's somewhat essential for a man to show that he has the ability to provide. Like, who invited who out in a date? Even when women ask me out, I still pay for myself and don't expect to be paid for because it's rude to expect someone to spend money on me just because they wanna hang out. Has payment been discussed prior to said date? This wouldn't be necessary if one was genuinely interested in the person they're on a date with. Discussing payment is for when dealing with escorts. You don’t need psychological conditioning, just disincentives That's part of what's called operant conditioning, which is a form of psychological conditioning.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 05:19 PM

That’s because I’m pretty sure biology is responsible for the male sex drive Biology is responsible for both men and women's sex drive. But the sex drive can also be suppressed or encouraged through psychological conditioning.

You didn't answer any of my questions. But if you had studied psychology, then you would know that how a child is raised can influence their sex instinct and their sex drive. So in society, men's sex drive is exploited, and women are taught to suppress theirs.

Because it’s not loving to be controlling, attached and manipulative, like you noted You don't have to suppress anything to not be attached, controlling and manipulative. In fact, that stuff happens partially because of the suppression of emotions and yourself.

/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/23 12:03 AM

Right, and my point is love cannot be switched on and off depending on who you're interacting with. It's either present or it isn't.

Not really. Plenty of people judge each other and try to control and manipulate each other. You know this.

Love isn't something you put into practice, it's who you are. But for your sake I'll say I put it into "practice" by being present and open with whoever I'm relating to in that moment without judging them or trying to change them, and it works the same in relationships.

Love isn't a feeling or a thought, it's beyond that. What I'm talking about is similar to how sex isn't just physical, it goes beyond that.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/23 05:38 PM

Nah son I love women, unlike you. My post is about men in general, not me. If you look at the bigger picture in the world and how women are treated, especially in third world countries you'll see what I'm talking about.

Just say you're gay man, there's nothing wrong with it. No need to imagine being a girl to be gay.

do you think you can love without feelings? Yes, but this doesn't mean there can't be any feelings there. Love isn't a feeling because feelings are superficial in the sense that they come and go very easily and are not stable. This is why many couples are unhappy, because they think love is a feeling, so when one of them doesn't feel good anymore, they start fighting and arguing, and then they make up but ofcourse they will fight again and so on, until they break up or one of them dies. And they…

and it’s based on how they make you feel. Isn't that selfish, because you basically only love them when they make you feel good about yourself?

Unconditional love would be an exception to our lives if it existed How do you know it doesn't?

Love is transactional anyway regardless of gender This is true, unfortunately.

Frustration at women In what way? At the world for you not having what you wanted. Which is what? How do you know what I want? I believe that at one point, you genuinely wanted love and companionship. You felt like you weren’t able to get that, felt heartbreak and rejection, your ego created the new cognition that you don’t even want those things to protect itself What part of my post gives you this idea? The post is about men not loving women unconditionally, what does that have to do with lone…

I just mean that I believe your perception is skewed by frustration and loneliness. Frustration at who? you see things that way due to years of negative feelings associated with women and dating In what way? What part of the post are you referring to? Most of it is about men.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/23 01:41 PM

This is what years of social isolation and loneliness does to a dude. In what way? What do you actually mean?

I didnt say women love men unconditionally. I've actually made posts in this sub before about how women don't love men either. I don't take sides, I just make observations.

Tell that to the love I have for this one girl since I first saw her like 7-8 years ago. Where is this love, so I can tell it? Show it to me. And I haven’t even kissed her let alone having sex with her. How do you know you live her?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/23 01:00 PM

and will even disqualify a man for accepting her offer to go half. I'm aware of all this and have even made posts about it in this sub before. But just because women expect men to pay for dates and treat them as if they're special doesn't mean that men have to go along with that insanity. They only do so because they want her approval, which leads to sex. You seem to have this notion that women love unconditionally Again, I've made post in this sub before about how most women don't love men eith…

People generally love others due to the way they make them feel. Then they don't really love the other person , they just love feeling good basically. That's how my marriage and marriages of most my cousins function. Marriage itself was created so that men could possess women, which is part of why women generally get the man's last name. In some cultures divorce is even frowned upon, and in others some women actually get killed (like in Afghanistan and stuff) for trying to leave a marriage becau…

Why then do we expect men to just automatically love women? Women also say if men don't love them then why should they, and that's how we end up with the society we live in.

In what way? What part of the post are you referring to specifically?

You pay for dates just do you can use a woman’s vagina? I stopped paying for dates a long time ago, but many men pay for that reason. Jesus Christ you are foul. From the beginning of this conversation you've said personal things about me, and I still haven't said anything personal about you. That's what's actually gross.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/23 06:51 AM
1

Reflect on the history of courtship and “traditional” provider-beneficiary gender roles. It was men who created it Yeah, back when women generally couldn't get jobs.... Now women can work, and they still want a provider and men to pay for dates. A man buying a woman’s vagina for the night is entirely different than a man taking a woman on a date to get to know her. The only reason he pays is to get to use her vagina...because he knows if he doesn't pay, she'll lose interest, very much like a pro…

I can tell you don’t go on many dates. I do, and other men who go on dates will tell you the same. That's why whenever I make a post in this sub about this, many men can relate. The only way you would know about this is if you date women. However your greatest sin here is conflating paying for a date with prostitution. They're not that different. The prostitute is just more honest about why she wants men to pay, while the average woman thinks she's better than prostitutes.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/23 06:23 AM
1

Still waiting on you to admit men should stop purchasing sex (whether it’s a date or prostitution) That goes without saying. Ofcourse men should stop paying for sex. But the reality is as long as women want some form of payment for dates, men won't stop paying for it, because women want payment for their time in one form or another. And this is the root of the problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/23 06:10 AM
1

Doesn't the same apply to women?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/23 06:02 AM
2

Also, dummy Why are you making this personal? I haven't said anything about you personally. it was MEN who created the standard for paying for women on dates and providing for them. And women have no choice but to go along with it?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/23 05:58 AM
2

Also, you’re right: you are a male, so I will never listen to you on any subject regarding women. Okay.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/23 05:55 AM

I’ll never listen to a male about women’s liberation. You don't have to. I'm just telling you the truth. You can choose to ignore it, its up to you. One way women can achieve that is to stop trading our bodies for money to help loser men cum. Again, as long as women expect men to pay for dates and do things for them, this won't change. But I'm a male so you won't listen to me so whatever. men who purchase sex are scum, most women who sell sex are victims, So the men are scum, but the women are v…

I hate those women because they allow men to view all of us as nothing more than a cum sock. That's an interesting point. But it's not just those women who allow men to view women as that. There are also many women who aren't "sex workers" who expect men to pay for dates and spend money on them before they can sleep with them. "Sex workers" are just more honest. I have sympathy for the victims of the disgusting males who pay for sex. Seeing women as victims, especially those who make their own c…

Do you think there any "sex workers" who would disagree with you?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/23 04:49 AM

Then what does it make the women who get paid for sex? Victims?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/23 04:15 AM

Why come to me in the first place if they don't want to spend time together? Its an example to make a point. Even parents, the only people who are said to be able to love unconditionally, actually want things from their kids Because they don't actually love them unconditionally. You just said it yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/23 11:52 PM

How does love create intelligence? Because they are basically the same, they go together. But I'm not talking about intellectual intelligence like being good at maths or something. How do you “know yourself” By observing yourself and your thoughts in your daily life, and understanding why you do the things you do and why you're attracted to who you're attracted to and so on. and why can you not love anyone until you do? If you don't know yourself, you can't love yourself. And if you can't love y…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/23 03:16 PM
1

I am unclear how love creates intelligence. I know, because you have a limited perspective of love. Does that mean dumb people can’t love Yeah, if you're dumb that means you don't know yourself. If you don't know yourself, how can you love anybody?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/23 02:58 PM
1

Well, when you love without wanting anything in return, that brings with it intelligence, and this intelligence will instinctively tell you whether someone genuinely loves you or is just using you. The reason why people end up in abusive relationships is because they don't have this form of love and so they end up in shitty relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/23 02:52 PM

What do you mean?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/23 02:49 PM

Not necessarily. Do you?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/23 02:44 PM
1

Love isn't an object, how can it be exchanged?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/23 02:33 PM
1

It doesn't matter whether you get something or not that's the point. If I love someone without wanting anything from them, and they also happen to love me, how is that transactional?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/23 02:10 PM
1

Let's just agree to disagree because you're making alot of effort to not understand something very simple, which makes the discussion pointless.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/23 01:45 PM
1

If someone reciprocates, it’s transactional. No. It seems like your making an effort to not understand what is being said.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/23 01:42 PM
1

Yeah, that means more people will actually reciprocate?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/23 01:39 PM

If one sided, unreciprocal love is preferred, Where did I say it was preferred or that if you love without expectation, no one will reciprocate?

That's not what the post says, but okay.

I just said that your ideal type of love is one-sided and unreciprocal, That type of love actually attracts more people because it doesn't want or expect anything from anyone. and have elaborated how it translates into real life. You don't actually know how it translates into life because you've never experienced it. You've only experienced conditional love, which isnt actually love. And it does not sound appealing Again, you're only speaking from your limited perspective. Freedom might not soun…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/23 01:21 PM
0

Unfortunately your perspective of love is very limited, so it's basically like we're talking about two different things. a reciprocal, mutually beneficial relationship is not “the best type of love”, just exploitative, one-sided ones This is why I say your perspective of love is very limited. You think of love in terms of benefits and getting something out of it in return. You see love as a transaction, basically.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/23 01:05 PM
0

That doesn't change the truth of what is being said.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/23 12:38 PM
2

You don’t expect your favorite band or actor to do anything for you, you just feel good about them and give them money and time voluntarily. That fits your description of “the best kind of love” No, I'm talking about people you know in real life. Not some celebrity you've never even met and know nothing about. I thought that would be obvious.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/23 12:36 PM
0

You always want something from another person But why? It means we don't love at random So you love them so much that you want something in return? and we want them to at least love us back which gives love meaning. How does that give it meaning? Just think of someone trying to say "I don't care if I interact with them at all, I don't care if they feel anything about me, I don't want anything from them, but I love them." What would be wrong with that?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/23 11:20 AM
1

If so, then the “best type of love” is one sided from anonymous people who will never meet or talk to the recipient of their “love”, or with sociopathic exploiters Why? And that kind of love is felt by almost everyone. In what way?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/23 11:16 AM
2

A relationship in the sense that those people spend time together, live together, etc., is a condition. Not necessarily. Loving someone doesn't mean they have to spend time with you or that you have to live together. That's not to say you can't spend time together or live together, but it's not a requirement. So, to a certain extent, you can say that romantic relationships (at least the usual and mutual ones) must be transactional. Yeah, that's what i said.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/23 08:20 AM
1

I’ve never heard of a woman going on dates to get sex only Ofcourse not. They go for sex and the free food.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/23 03:43 PM
1

Don't women do the same?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/23 03:39 PM
1

Well, you said women react to men. Which means they only act the way they do because of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/23 03:24 PM
1

Because men still do it, so it’s still expected. They still do what?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/23 03:23 PM
1

Because other men ruined it by using dating as a sex gathering function instead of mutual interest gage That doesn't change the point being made. Like, how does this change the point of the post?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/23 03:16 PM
1

Yes, I’m glad you know how fee for product/service works So at what point are women responsible for their actions then?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/23 03:14 PM
1

because women react to men, So women do things like being on onlyfans in reaction to men wanting sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/23 02:57 AM
1

But how is it mutual when from the first date women already expect men to pay for them and treat them a certain way, while not reciprocating?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/23 02:56 AM
1

Is that how love works for you?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/23 11:52 PM
1

Then make your own post about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/23 11:51 PM
3

Notice how you're not saying my post is wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/23 03:10 AM
1

How is that trolling?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/23 03:09 AM
0

Sure there is. There actually isn't. There is only ego and self centerdness. Incidentally, the above applies to both genders. Men generally are just happy to be out with someone they're attracted to while women are doing all kinds of tests and all kinds of posturing. Which is why they're unable to love.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/23 03:27 AM
1

Yeah, but again it's still all about you and what you can gain. There is no love in that.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/23 03:13 AM
0

So how can they love when they already have some goal and roles to impose on their date? They obviously can't because they're only concerned about themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/23 02:54 AM
0

But you didn't really add anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/23 01:14 AM
-1

Wanting your future offspring to be well-provisioned is 'narcissistic,' eh? Are you really going on dates thinking about your future offspring? That's ridiculous.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/23 01:10 AM
1

That changes nothing that has been said.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/23 01:09 AM
1

You've said "yikes" in 2 separate comments now. Do you actually have anything to say or just npc phrases?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/23 01:06 AM
3

This is exactly why women are not able to love men. The whole idea of testing men is narcissistic and self-centred. Someone like that can't love.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 01:00 PM
1

How do you know why they're doing it?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 10:18 AM
1

I said they're more selfless than women, and then I gave examples. That doesn't mean that I'm saying they're completely selfless.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 09:34 AM
1

Staying in a relationship because you feel like you can't just up and get sex from someone younger and prettier isn't selfless. When did I say it was? Crazy how you can apparently justify that as better. When did I justify it?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 09:04 AM
4

That doesn't necessarily mean that you actually care though.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 07:25 AM

So how are women any different from men then? Men are able to be more selfless than women, because from the beginning most women already have demands that men are willing to fulfill. Even on the first date men generally pay. Most women don't even offer, infact they actually expect men to pay. You want something we provide, we want something you provide, Yeah, but men provide more than just sex. so what's the point in making this post Because I'm biologically programmed to be attracted to women a…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 03:54 AM

Someone should do a study on why women gaslight to win arguments/debates. Yeah, good point. She's not even addressing the points made in the post.

Yeah, it's a different context.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 03:07 AM

You agree that your comment was dumb? Good.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 03:05 AM

My posts doesn't say anything about sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 03:05 AM

Did you read the original post at all? It seems like you didn't.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 03:00 AM

A provider is someone who provides money,, entertainment and so on. And basically all women want such a provider.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 02:58 AM
1

Getting laid is what success with women means. Many men who are successful with women prefer not being in relationships be abuse they understand female nature.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 02:55 AM
1

The only difference between trad wives and modern women is modern women want the benefits of being a trad wife without actually playing that role.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 02:54 AM
5

I know that's what you want to think.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 02:53 AM
1

i don’t think men should be expected to die for women but when you really love someone, sometimes you don’t even think about the things you do in the moment when they are in danger Exactly. And in moments of danger, women rarely do anything to protect men.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 02:52 AM
1

Some do. Most don’t. As long as we agree that atleast some women do.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 02:51 AM
2

but your personal experience isn’t universal It kinda is, many men feel the same. unfortunately for you, you are the common denominator in your own personal history. The fact that many men who are successful with women have reached this conclusion means it's not just me. It would be great if it were because that would mean that women can actually love men.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 02:50 AM
-2

Then why complain that women don’t love men? Because I date women and not men, therefore I have to deal with women's inability to love. Also, its an observation, not a complaint.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 02:43 AM
1

Most women don’t actually say that. Many do and they have throughout history. You wouldn't know unless you date women and have to deal with them. are able to provide for ourselves And yet many of you still want a provider...
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 02:42 AM
3

but you still want something that this woman is providing. The only real thing she can provide a man with is sex. And in my post I never said men don't want anything from women.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 02:40 AM
-5

You’re claiming that women don’t love men and men do love women. I didn't claim men love women in my post. You should read it again.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 02:39 AM
1

Anything women think they need protection from. Women actually do say they want a man to protect them, so maybe you should ask them.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 02:38 AM
-5

Your comment is changing the topic of the whole post. You're not even addressing anything I said and yet you want me to answer all your questions.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 02:37 AM
7

Men are able to love women more than women can love them because men are more selfless than women in their love (thats why they play the role of provider and protector), but it still isn't unconditional.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 02:35 AM
4

I never said it was. My post isn't about men.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 02:31 AM
5

Yeah, you make a good point. Men are conditioned to protect women, provide for them and even sacrifice their own lives for them. But women rarely, if ever do the same for men.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 02:30 AM
-1

Your definition of love is way too restrictive. It really isn't. All I said is feelings aren't necessarily love (which is a fact) and that attachment is psychological dependency (which it is).
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 02:20 AM
2

ive been in relationships where i clearly had the stronger feelings, and in relationships where she did. Feelings aren't necessarily love. Having stronger feelings just means she likes you alot but it's not actually love because she can drop you instantly. the personal attachments are real Attachment isn't love, it's basically psychological dependency on another person.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 02:13 AM

men don’t love women. they just use them for sex. they will leave them as soon as they get older for a younger woman.” Well this maybe true for wealthy men, but the average man generally won't leave his woman for a younger one, mostly because the younger one is more expensive.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 02:10 AM

Because we aren't all like that. No, ofcourse not. But I can't pretend like a significant amount of women aren't like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 02:07 AM

i’ve seen that my parents love each other. i’ve seen that my grandparents love each other. So has almost everyone else, but if you've been in a relationship then you know that things in your relationship aren't always as they seem to other people. Have you heard about Gabbie Petito? but you also can’t say that you truly know that women don’t love men I can say I know that most women don't, based on their behaviour, how they treat men and how they're mostly focused on themselves and being treated…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 02:04 AM
6

And if it IS your reality you're picking the wrong women That's not the point. The point is many men who've been successful with women have come to the same conclusion as I have. Meaning, it's not just my limited perspective. Other men have noticed the same thing. Other women have also noticed, and a woman called Esther Vilar even wrote a book about it called 'The Manipulated Man'. Because there ARE good ones out there. Where are they? I'd love to meet them.

I don't know, but people do it all the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 01:59 AM

This has so many incel vibes Oh here we go again... Men that have this generic view of all women That view is based on reality. Only thing I want from him is love and loyalty. You can basically say anything to make yourself look good and I wouldn't know coz I don't know you. That's why they say watch what she does, not what she says.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 01:53 AM

Maybe u don't care about looks as a man but most men put our value on our looks. Yeah, and women put value on men's money and what they can do for them. That doesn't mean I have to go along with it. Also a ton of women don't wear make up. The vast majority of them do, especially the younger ones who haven't hit 40 yet. Its just a matter of how much they wear. I highly doubt u are going for average women or u wouldn't say most women do this. I don't go for any women anymore. I just watch their be…

So all women are narcissistic? Many are. Thought u said some pay. So then they aren't narcissists. Some do, but expecting people to pay for you is just one narcissist trait. There are others, like wearing makeup for example and being preoccupied with looks, like most women.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/23 02:24 AM
1

then why are u making this post and complaining? Calling narcissists what they are isnt complaining. Be friends with a chick. You can't really be friend with narcissists because they're only concerned about themselves. Guys aren't trying to be friends first. They want sex. Because it's basically all women offer. If I were to date again, I would have no choice but to just want sex because thats all there is to most women. And since it's all there is to them, they want to get some payment for it.

Victim blaming doesn't look good on you. In your post you literally say he's so cool and you can't stop hanging out with him. Take some responsibility. I don't wanna date a drunk broke loser like him but I cared about him as a friend You're such a good friend that you describe your friends as broke losers. Like I keep saying, money is all that matters to you, so you use guys to get it. As if you aren't chasing only chicks you find attractive enough. I don't chase women at all. It's a huge waste …

Yes it’s a two way street. Yeah, but the one selling their body for money is worse. Just because there's a demand for something, doesn't mean you have to supply it.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/23 01:45 AM

And won't. Because I'm not trying to do 50/50 with a nut job In your post you literally say he's abusive and yet you can't help but want hang out with him. If he's a nut job, you're clearly one too. And yes the ones who have been 50/50 have been the shittiest. And yet you're obsessed with an abusive guy who goes 50/50. What does that say about you? You are responsible for your own boundaries Where are yours?

Even when a woman invited me out recently, expecting her to pay for me seemed trashy, but women have no problem with being trashy apparently. because I don't want to pay doesn't mean I'm using him. It definitely does. That's why you don't want to pay and expect him to. If he doesn't pay, you ditch him. This is simply the woman being feminine and letting the man lead It's called being a narcissist. Why does a woman want to be led by some guy she barely even knows? Coz she's a narcissist who doesn't like taking responsibility. I don't want to say this about women who are truly looking to just exploit a man Any woman who wants to be led or provided for is just looking to exploit men, otherwise she would lead and provide for herself.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/23 11:14 PM

There's nothing "idiotic" about being a traditional man. There is. Traditional men don't really understand female nature. That's why they get easily manipulated by women.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/23 11:12 PM

The fact that straight men want sex more than women are willing to give freely is why prostitution exists. Prostitution wouldn't exist if women weren't willing to do almost anything for money.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/23 11:11 PM
2

However, seeing if someone offers to pay as a test of their ability or status isn't narcissistic. Yeah, it is. Who are you to test someone else by seeing if they'll spend money on you? What makes you so special? Only narcissists want people to prove their status to them.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/23 11:09 PM

It's not using if he invites. It is because you don't really wanna hang outbwith him, you're hmjust going coz he's paying. If he has romantic intentions then I assume he's paying. Exactly because you think you should be treated special by men, which is a narcissistic trait.

She just spent more money than him for the night. If she's so concerned about money then she should stop dating and save her money. A girl recently asked me out but I still didn't expect her to pay for me coz I'm not a narcissist. I didnt mind spending money to go meet her because I wanted to do it. but it will never be reality And so women will always be seen as a commodity to be paid for. All men have to do is pay and buy them material things to hold their interest, which is what happens.

The fact that you want to manipulate women into doing something they don’t want is entitlement. Really? So wanting people to take responsibility and pay for their own stuff is manipulation? Really? You are projecting big time. If I were projecting I would be saying that I'm entitled to other people paying for my food, like you're doing. A man who is able to successfully get a woman to go 50/50 or doesn’t have a problem paying for her meal, And a woman who isn't a narcissist doesn't have problem …

And at least that "sucker" has someone that loves him and appreciates him. That "love" is conditional because the moment he stops providing for you and doing what you want, you'll move on to the next provider. That's what most heterosexual relationships consist of. Women are preoccupied with their looks because that is the single most important factor for their fucking evolutionary fitness, so yes, they are on average. It doesn't matter why they're preoccupied with their looks. The point is they are, just like narcissists are. Also, don't you find it degrading to women to say the most important evolutionary factor for them is their physical appearance? It's not a personality disorder. It's still narcissistic. Isn't red pill supposed to make you understand …
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 09:48 AM

We work with different definitions of narcissism. No, we don't. The examples you gave are literally the traits of a narcissist. Men aren't generally excessively preoccupied with their looks, if they were they would wear makeup like women.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 09:25 AM

So one reason is insecurity ('I'm not good enough as I am'). Another reason is competition ('I must look at least as pretty as others in order to...') Both those things are the traits of a narcissist... So at what point are women responsible for their behaviour?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 09:05 AM

Isn't one of the traits of narcissism a preoccupation with one's looks? Aren't many women preoccupied with their looks? Isn't another trait seeing yourself as special? And don't women see themselves as special when they expect someone else to pay for food that they're going to eat?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 08:51 AM

I do not like wearing makeup at all. I like myself more without it. So why wear it? Are you a slave to other people's expectations? You do a lot of things because of expectations as well. We all do that, and a lot of it is done subconsciously. Either way, at some point don't you think its necessary to take responsibility for your behaviour and beliefs, even if they came from society?

One of the traits of narcissists is being preoccupied with looks. And make up is an expression of this preoccupation. Ofcourse since you wear makeup you can't see any of this. Your entire sense of self depends on you pretending like makeup isn't for narcissists, because that means you're also one.

At some point people have to take responsibility for their behaviour and stop blaming society. The reality is you like wearing makeup, so being expected to do it isn't really a big deal, since you'd do it anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 07:27 AM
2

All of this information can attest to the fact that women are in control of the dating market. They're only in control coz men let them. If men weren't thirsty for sex, women would have no power over them at all because that's all most offer.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 07:25 AM
3

That is so dumb. So either he pays for you or you just don't even put in effort? I'm guessing you only go on dates for the payment.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 07:24 AM
1

without actually having the knowledge or experience to back it up. The experience I have is from talking to women and engaging with them and observing their behaviour. The fact that many men are relating to the post means they've also noticed, even though you probably think they agree coz they hate women or something.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 07:22 AM

What I said was many women who are obsessed with makeup also say what you're saying.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 07:01 AM

but I wouldn’t have a problem leaving the house without it. Many women who are obsessed with makeup say this.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 06:51 AM

If you actually read my post you'd know that I was clearly joking.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 06:50 AM

People in the same world that you live in. Social media is just an expression of narcissism.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 06:37 AM
1

You can see narcissist behaviour just from kbserving people. You don't need to go on 100 dates.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 06:35 AM
1

The money to pay for the date.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 06:28 AM
1

I’m getting the strong sense that your whole argument is based off scenarios that mostly take place in your head Yeah okay, the idea of women using men is all in my head and tend to be narcissistic is all in my head. How many dates have you been on with women?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 06:27 AM
2

One of the traits of narcissists is a preoccupation with your looks. Makeup is an expression of that. Wearing makeup isn't a real interest that defines women, or atleast it shouldn't be.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 06:25 AM
1

Enough to know how not to be used by women.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 06:23 AM
1

She can't use a date for free meals if I let her pay.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 06:21 AM
2

and you’re now being judged on your other traits, qualities and actions. And what is she bringing to the table, that allows her to be so judgemental? Beyond sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 06:20 AM
1

Not very because I let them pay for themselves. If I didn't, the answer would be different.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 06:18 AM
2

Women have been conditioned and socially learned to look good, and been told that “men are visual”, “women’s value come from youth and beauty” At what point are women responsible for their behaviour and their beliefs?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 06:17 AM
2

I’d say the number of women just going on dates with men just for the free meal is small and they exist mainly in the online dating world. How can it be small when like you, said you’re being judged on your ability to provide?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 05:57 AM
5

But the women being referred to in the post are.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 05:52 AM
1

So we should pay for women on dates and treat them special until they've achieved equality?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 05:51 AM
3

Expecting someone to pay for you on a date is having an inflated sense of self. Thats where the entitlement comes from.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 05:48 AM
5

What does it mean then?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 05:40 AM
5

Men who expect women to split the bill are cheap. But women who don't want to even pay for their own food aren't? I always split the bill on the first date but I would never accept a second date from someone who didn’t at least offer to pay the whole thing. That's narcissism, my post is about women like you. The men who let you pay are very lucky because atleast you'll leave them alone and won't use them. Letting women pay for their own food is a great way of weeding out the narcissists. I highl…
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 05:39 AM
2

Not really, you just disagree with what I'm saying but can't actually counter the points being made. I don't see how not expecting people to pay for my food is high school mentality.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 05:26 AM
6

Men who expect women to sleep with them are usually the kind of men who think their role is to pay for dates. Expecting sex is them expecting something in return for their money, its only natural.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 05:13 AM
2

at the end of the day your post said women are narcissist if they expect men to pay, but I say that's perfectly normal Unfortunately we live in a world where narcissism is normal, and for women it's even encouraged, by people like you. since men are asking women to go on dates with them Being asked on a date doesn't mean you have to expect that someone is gonna pay for you. Only narcissists would expect that. you're trying to flip it by saying well a girl asked me out and I still paid, but it do…
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 05:05 AM

Okay, thanks.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 05:00 AM

I wanna go to this restaurant" she's just using you, She actually offered to pay and I chose to just get separate orders instead. The first time she asked me out, she actually paid. But okay. You pay for the date because you're a simp. If you weren't, you wouldnt bother chasing them in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 04:57 AM
1

if a girl asks to hang out I would just invite her to my place or hangout at the beach or something Yeah, sometimes they already have a place in mind, like a restaurant. I'm not gonna insist she come to my place. and like I said 90% of he time the guy is asking the girl, exception not the rule That doesn't change anything I'm saying. Expecting someone to spend money on you is narcissistic regardless of gender.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 04:51 AM
5

No, because of their behaviour, especially when it comes to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 04:40 AM
8

In what ways, for example?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 04:39 AM
5

men need to do more to impress. Only simps do. Real men know there is no need to impress anyone, let alone some woman they're tryna sleep with. Also, the only power women have in the dating market is the power men give them, without that, they have none.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 04:33 AM

A girl recently asked me out and I didn't expect her to pay for me because doing that seemed ridiculous. Only narcissists expect to be paid for.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 04:31 AM

Maybe they are increasing their chances of getting laid…or maybe they do really like her! You said it yourself, men are thirsty. So they pay to increase either their chances of getting laid or of her liking them. It’s in their nature. Not really. It's mostly just social conditioning, going back to their mother. Because men want women (or at least sex with them) more than women want sex with men, This jsnt really true either. Both men and women want sex, its that just men are conditioned to be mo…

Imagine that a woman has 3 men who would like to date her. Man 1 and man 2 both pay. Man 3 does not pay. This is a good indicator that man 1 and man 2 are more into her than man 3. Not necessarily a perfect indicator but a decent one. Men 1 and 2 only paid to increase their chances of getting laid. It doesn't mean they actually care about her as a human being. Man 3 is actually smart and weeding out the narcissists by not paying. And yes, women indicate interest by showing up. Because men are id…

so STOP DATING THEM. There's so many of them that it's hard to avoid them. Thanks for the advice though.

How do you know what I think?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 03:55 AM

In the world?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 03:55 AM

Calling narcissistic women what they are doesn't make someone an incel.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 03:54 AM
5

Well because as a man who's attracted to women, I unfortunately have to deal with some of these narcissists. Thanks for asking.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 03:53 AM
6

It means he is putting his best foot forward to impress her So if a woman expects a man to pay, that means the man is putting his best foot forward? How does that make any sense? And how does the woman show she's serious about investing in the relationship? By showing up?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 03:51 AM
5

It all depends on what the expectation is. If I expect people to treat me as if I'm somehow special, then I'm a narcissist . If I expect people to not cause me harm and to leave me alone then I'm just a sane human being.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 03:49 AM
1

Women's entitlement is.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 03:32 AM
5

It's both. Entitlement is based on narcisism, you should know this.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 03:29 AM
1

This is what I mean by "narcissist". All your comments are proving my point, I love it.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 03:28 AM
6

You're proving the point of my post. I bet you can't because she will most likely ghost you. Exactly. And yet women still expect men to pay, because you're narcissists.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 03:27 AM
5

No, I didn't mind paying because I accepted the invite and I also wanted to hang out with her. Expecting someone to pay because they asked you out is gross behaviour and a red flag.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 03:25 AM
7

Like what for example? I'm saying a woman asked me out and I didn't expect her to pay just because she asked me out, so what's your point
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 03:21 AM
1

Ofcourse, because you benefit from it. To you, men putting you on a pedestal is them just being a gentleman.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 03:20 AM
5

What are the traits of a narcissist?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 03:19 AM
1

Hahah that's a good one.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 03:19 AM
6

What does this have to do with my comment? I'm confused.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 03:12 AM
1

There are traits to being a narcissist, thinking you're so special that men should pay to spend time with you is one of them.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 03:10 AM

It's not really a fit. It's a simple observation: if you expect people to spend money on you, you're a narcissist.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 03:08 AM

It's just a true observation, that's why it triggers you. Even when women ask me out I still don't expect them to pay because I'm not a narcissist.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 03:05 AM
4

No I think it's idiotic to use narcissism as a baseline insult rather than actually reading the literature about it. It's more of an observation than an insult.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 02:56 AM
10

I'm just calling out narcissists and the idiots that enable them (traditional men).
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 02:54 AM

I'd argue maybe they're a little naive or willfully ignorant That's being a dummy. they're not bad people No, many idiots are actually nice people.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 02:54 AM
9

No, the narcissist is obviously the one who expects others to spend money on them just because they're a woman. I've been asked out by women before and still didn't expect them to pay.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 02:52 AM
14

Not really. I got asked out recently and the idea of expecting her to pay seemed so absurd.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 02:50 AM
6

You're the one letting them pay so they can sleep with you.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 02:49 AM
-1

That's like saying angry and being homicidal go together They often do?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 02:49 AM
7

I'm asking you personally. You let men pay to increase the chances of fucking you. My question is why? You don't have to let them pay, especially since you know their motive, but you let them pay anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 02:48 AM
10

Culture is a form of brainwashing that's why people believe many stupid things.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 02:47 AM
8

I'm from Africa, so what?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 02:44 AM
15

Traditional men are dummies who get easily manipulated by women. Many end up going through brutal divorces coz they were too focused on worshipping their wife, they couldn't see her true nature.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 02:41 AM
7

The funny thing about your comment is its exactly why women have been discriminated against throughout history.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 02:39 AM
6

They go together.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 02:37 AM
9

So why should women have equal rights?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 02:37 AM
9

You said men pay because you're so great to be around and because they want to increase their chances of getting laid. So I'm asking, why do men pay to increase their chances of you fucking them? And what's so great about you as a person that makes men want to pay to be around you?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 02:36 AM
12

A traditional man would happily pay. Traditional men are kind of idiotic.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 02:33 AM
15

Don't you think the intelligent thing to do when you're an adult is to question why men have to pay, if you're both equal?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 02:32 AM
3

Yes Don't you think it's idiotic to want to go back to a time when women had less rights?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 02:31 AM
6

Why?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 02:19 AM
9

I suppose traditionalists like the comfort of the way things used to be. Like women not being allowed to work and stuff? I wouldn't call these people idiots I would though.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 02:19 AM
12

And why do you think they paid? Because you are so great to be around? Or because they know it increases their chances of getting laid?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 02:17 AM
17

I would argue that men paying is a hold over from the day when women had little to no means to earn money. It's 2023. Any woman who insists on men paying because women couldn't earn money in the past is an idiot.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 02:08 AM

I am a professional and my social and professional circle is filled with women who do very important work I never said women can't do that work. The mental capacity being referred to in the quote in the post is not about being a vet or whatever other jobs women do. Also, the quote about women letting their mental capacity disintegrate was written by a woman. So you know, try not to need any medical services because you may have to trust one of us females who are only good for sex lol When someon…

Women do what celebrities do... But at the end of the day, who do the male celebrities do it for? Women. Makeup, fashion, etc. is about women doing what the higher class of women and men tell them to do. Makeup and fashion are basically hobbies for women, and a way of attracting a provider.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/23 04:38 PM
-3

You're saying that women are let down and have power over their intellect and lives taken away and that's women's fault? When did I say any of this? I'm not even sure what you're trying to say. Why would women want their huge and varied potential to be reduced to sex? That's a question to ask women. But one answer is that because they don't need to have huge and varied potential to survive because they can find men to be providers.

Women are not feminine, and men are not masculine. They aren't? men and women are not polar opposites In terms of energy they are.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 01:46 PM
1

Why would I refute it?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 01:44 PM
2

Assuming that because you are a combination of your father and mother implies you have masculine and feminine “energy” is completely fallacious. No it isn't. It makes perfect sense. Men are physically bigger than women because our evolutionary role is to kill animals and other men. You're talking about the physical and I'm talking about energy. There's a big difference between the two.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 01:43 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 02:29 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 05:30 AM

Grown men offer. Be an adult. These double standards are why there won't be true equality anytime soon. The ironic thing is you have nothing to offer except sex, that's why you want to get free food for it.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 03:08 AM
1

fuck you for a big mac really shows how pathetic you are 🤮. Dude, anyone who wants payment for their time on a date is no better than a prostitute. It doesn't matter how you feel about it, that's the reality. So we’re whores and or prostitutes then. If you want to get payment for sex then obviously. That's literally the definition of a prostitute.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 03:07 AM
1

Why should it be free with all the risk women take on, Because you're not a prostitute...unless ofcourse you are. In which case, never mind. EVERYONE can charge for their time if they want to. Prostitutes do.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 02:40 AM

I can buy my own silly Then do it and stop expecting guys to do it for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 02:35 AM

Would you ask the perfect girl of your dreams to go half on the first date? Yeah. The woman of my dreams is intelligent and independent so she wouldn't mind paying for food that she's going to eat. Her main interest is in connecting with me, not free food. But culturally it's a pretty universal symbol that a guy pays for y'all's hangouts at first when he wants to indicate that he truly likes you. Again, men only pay to increase the chances of getting laid or getting another date. If the guy was …
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 12:44 AM

Okay, but you're atleast aware that not paying is a deal breaker for some women, right? You don't even have to look further than the comments left by women on this post.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 12:41 AM
1

You’re selfish, entitled and too poor to date You're the one who has a problem with paying for food going into your own mouth, so clearly you're the cheap and entitled one. It's just that you have no self awareness to see it. You’re a JON sp seek a woman who charges by the hour. So a woman like you then? Also, please tell me what responsibility comes with sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 11:47 PM
1

You want cheap, easy sex with the illusion that you’re desired. Why should sex be expensive, unless you're a prostitute or something? The problem is you want to be put on a pedestal just because you're a girl, and yet you have nothing to offer besides the same thing that every girl offers.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 11:44 PM
1

Well, that depends on a guy's taste because he will have to pay either way.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 11:42 PM

What grown woman in the United States doesn't know that him paying means he's buying you for the night? Read the comments from women in this post.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 11:38 PM
1

I'm going to assume he's just not that into me. Exactly. For the reasons I mentioned in the post. You're only interested in money. Most men would never ever let their dream woman pay on a date, The only reason they pay is because they know that payment is your main interest.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 11:36 PM
0

And if he’s willing to pay for a date in exchange for sex he’s fair game to be taken advantage of. So they go on dates with guys just to use them for free food?

/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 11:07 AM

If that's what you think it says then you should re-read it. The title literally says it increases the chances of getting laid, not that it makes her more attracted to you.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 11:05 AM

Okay then.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 11:04 AM

Many men claim they want other things They might but in reality most girls don't have much else to offer so as a guy you have no choice but to settle for sex. And most men don’t assume the only reason a woman is interested is money. It generally is though, that's why it's a big deal for them when a guy doesn't pay.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 11:03 AM

I have never paid for a whole date ever, always split, never had any problem. Okay, but I'm sure you know there other people in the world who've had different experiences.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 10:56 AM

I know why men pay because I'm a man and I know men and how they think.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 10:02 AM
1

How are men manipulated psychologically, I highly recommend you read 'The Manipulated Man' by Esther Vilar or 'The Anatomy of Female Power'. There are free pdf versions of them online. as opposed to simply paying an overt price for sex that everyone already knows? The idea that men have to pay a price for sex is part of the manipulation.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 10:02 AM
1

Yeah, but that doesn't change what I'm saying so you're not adding anything with your comment.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 09:36 AM
1

Because that's how you understand how men can be manipulated into being slaves by women.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 09:35 AM

Okay, but that doesn't change the point being made in the post.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 09:31 AM
1

To understand the psychological effects of something (like slavery and manipulation) you obviously have to understand psychology.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 09:29 AM
2

You paying for dinner doesn't make her any more attracted then before. Nobody said it does.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 08:17 AM
3

That's untrue. For you maybe, but many men have had that experience. Most don't mind it lol. They do.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 08:16 AM
1

I mean interest in the sense that she put in effort to atleast meet up with you in the first place, if there wasn't that initial interest, she would have said no to the date.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 06:16 AM
2

Paying will only increase your chances That's what the post says.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 06:08 AM
1

We've been going back and forth for ages and you still don't get it so like I said, don't worry about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 06:07 AM
1

Okay.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 06:04 AM
1

Thanks for your input.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 06:04 AM
5

who thought he could get me to prostitute myself for dinner. Plenty of girls do.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 05:37 AM
1

Don't worry about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 05:36 AM
2

Why, entertainment of course Exactly. But I don't find it particularly entertaining to bitch and moan about things Well, good for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 04:10 AM
2

Just because I've stopped dating doesn't mean I don't hang out with women, I still do. In fact, they're the ones who ask me to hang out so I have nothing to be bitter about, so nice try but that's not gonna work on me. Do you ask everyone who makes a reddit post what they get out of it? What do you get out of commenting?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 03:55 AM
1

Okay, fair enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 03:10 AM
3

Well stop dating I did, but I can still make observations about the dating world if I want.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 03:09 AM
4

Exactly! It's so obvious, but most men don't seem to get it. And if she loses interest because you didn't pay, she wasn't worth it in the first plays because she's shallow and vapid.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 02:59 AM
4

Many of them after a year without sex seem to fall apart from crippling loneliness then develop delusional entitled belief systems. That's biological programming made worse by the fact that sex is the only thing most girls have to offer, that's why they want to be paid for it (indirectly).
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 02:28 AM
1

Well, the women you go on dates with obviously care about the money involved to the point where they don't want to pay for themselves. Why do you think that is?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 02:26 AM
3

Atleast they're independent and not entitled.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 02:12 AM
0

I feel sorry for men who still chase women and think they're the prize.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 02:08 AM
2

But it's the same principle. You invite, you pay. Only if you're weak and afraid she'll lose interest if you don't. I'm beginning to get a picture of what's going on now. Okay, if you say so.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 02:05 AM
1

Okay, fair enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 02:04 AM
2

Awareness to see what? That your comments are proving my post right. That men have consistency asked me out and paid? Again, they paid because they know your primary interest in them is money.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 02:04 AM
2

There's really nothing to see. Because you don't have enough awareness to see it.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 01:53 AM
3

A party is not the same thing as grabbing lunch or a cup of coffee with someone. Also, most parties I go to people bring their own drinks.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 01:53 AM
7

The consequence of that is that part of me deciding whether or not to accept a date includes weighing whether or not I feel it,s worth my time AND money to take a chance on a stranger. Why would you go on any date if it isn't worth your time?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 01:52 AM
3

More broadly, I think a lot of men take it as a kind of ritual for communicating romantic/sexual interest of some form, with the woman allowing it meaning "I'm interested in your attention" and not allowing it meaning "I'm not interested." Showing interest by allowing someone to spend money on you? That's amazing.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 01:51 AM
3

The money involved is irrelevant so I don't even bother thinking about it. It's obviously relevant since you're basically afraid to not pay.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 01:50 AM
5

The funny thing is all your comments are proving my post right. You just don't have enough self awareness to see it.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 01:49 AM
3

That's not a good example.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 01:47 AM
4

But you said, "maybe I should think about it." So I thought you were prepared to convince me as to why. Well, you're spending money on girls who have no interest in you. That's not a wise thing to do.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 01:35 AM
3

Yes, but not because he didn't pay. No, it's precisely because he didn't pay. And you're so entitled you think he should. You've basically turned yourself into a thing to be paid for.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 01:27 AM
5

Well, it's your money so if you don't want to question it there's no need to convince you to.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 01:26 AM
8

You're nothing to her yet and she's got coffee at home This is so dumb. If she isn't interested in meeting up then just don't meet up. It's so simple. Women aren't doing you a favour by agreeing to go on a date with you, its meant to be mutual.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 01:25 AM
3

Why? It's not even worth the hassle to think about it - just pay and move on. Maybe you should think about it a bit...
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 01:13 AM
3

Mrs. Manners says the invitor (whoever asks) pays for the invitee (who gets asked). The reality is it's men who generally take the initiative. And an adult who agrees to meet up with another adult should have no problem with paying for food going in their own mouth. If you don't want to meet up then don't. But if you do don't be entitled by expecting to be paid for, that's gross behaviour. And really, a man paying has really no impact on if I decide to sleep with him. It doesn't matter. The poin…
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 01:11 AM
1

Holy shit. Okay, if you say so.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 12:24 AM
1

You said you don’t need a PhD, you need to study psychology. I said you need to understand basic psychology. I hope you can see the difference.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 12:12 AM
1

Are you a bot or something? You're just repeating what you've already said and what I've already addressed.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 10:40 PM
1

It's not necessary to have a phd in order to understand something.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 03:00 PM
1

There isn’t. This only tells me that you're ignorant about the topic. Obviously slavery isn't only physical, it's psychological as well. But ofcourse you won't understand that.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 02:53 PM
1

Again, you don’t need to study psychology to understand what slavery is I didn't say you have to study it. I said only if you have no understanding of it. There is a psychology to slavery, especially in this context, and since you have no understanding of basic psychology, you're not going to understand it.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 02:43 PM
1

Only if you have no understanding of psychology. Manipulation works better because the slaves won't realise that they're slaves, but forcing them makes it obvious.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 09:59 AM
1

Okay. But that doesn't change the fact that men have been manipulated by women into basically being their slaves, as Esther Vilar put it.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 05:45 AM
1

Okay, if you insist.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 05:26 AM
1

The condition is that I have sex with one and not the other Sex isn't a condition for love. If it were that would mean pornstars love people they have sex with on camera.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 05:18 AM
1

Okay then, if you say so.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 05:16 AM
1

You just said love was expressed differently and didn’t say why It should be obvious why. You express your "love" for your bf in a different than you do for your dad, don't you? (Assuming you actually love them).
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 05:14 AM
1

You don't seem to understand the difference between the meaning of a word and the psychological mechanism behind it.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 05:12 AM
1

Okay, if you say so.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 05:10 AM
1

You have not provided a reason why this is not so You wouldn't understand it even if I did. I've tried several times, but you're just not there yet.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 05:09 AM
1

There is a difference between understanding a word, and understanding its psychological mechanism.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 05:08 AM
1

Like I said, you need to grow in consciousness before you can understand what is being said.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 05:06 AM
1

No, but to understand the mechanism behind it you might.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 05:05 AM
1

Manipulation has a psychological aspect to it, and so does domination and submissiveness.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 05:00 AM
1

You need to increase your level of consciousness before you can understand what unconditional love is. The way you are now, you can't know or understand it.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 04:55 AM
1

Okay, if you say so.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 04:54 AM
1

If there are different ways of expressing love, then there are conditions Okay, if you insist.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 04:49 AM
1

Like I said, study psychology and find out.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 04:48 AM
1

Study psychology and find out.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 04:41 AM
1

I don't know. Ask them.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 04:41 AM
1

Because there are different ways of expressing love. Your questions feel very disingenuous because they are so ridiculous. You're asking stuff like, "if you love your mum why don't you have sex with her"? At this point I'm not even sure you're a real human being because nobody can be this absurd.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 04:40 AM
1

What is the red pill and the manosphere then? I don't know.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 04:16 AM
1

Then why do you have sex with some people you love and not others? Because love doesn't necessarily have anything to do with sex. Are you really this dense?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 04:15 AM
1

Which men? Where are they?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 04:14 AM
1

If that is so, how can men work for women, think for them, and be responsible for them if they themselves are being exploited and manipulated ? Because of the manipulation...
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 04:13 AM
1

Love being unconditional doesn't mean you have sex with everyone you love.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 04:12 AM
1

Yeah, because I've read it. You haven't.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 04:10 AM
1

If that is true, then all women are dependents, In one way or another most are.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 04:10 AM
1

This is like talking to a mentally challenged 12 year old about metaphysics. It's not gonna go anywhere due to your ignorance.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 04:08 AM
1

So what? Those men have nothing to do with me.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 04:07 AM
1

That is so dumb. You haven't read either books and yet you're commenting on them.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 04:07 AM

You're so absurd I don't even know what to say to you. You think if someone loves their mum then they should fuck them? Wtf
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 04:05 AM
1

Have you actually read either books?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 04:04 AM
1

Sure, okay.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 04:03 AM

You ask retarded questions which make nobody take you seriously.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 04:02 AM
1

So all women want a dominant man Many do. But they want a man who is dominant in the way that they want them to be dominant. Just like they want to be led, but in a way that they want to be led. Women in this sub have said this stuff on my posts. Every woman wants to quit their job and be financially dependent on their partner, and sit on their ass all day? You ask retarded questions.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 04:01 AM
1

If you can use Mein Kampf to make a point, I'd love to hear it. So go ahead.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 03:59 AM

Your response has nothing to do with the comment you're responding to.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 03:59 AM
1

Do you date women as a straight guy? This is the only way you could know what you're talking about.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 01:27 AM
1

I don't think you understand the concept of using an example to illustrate a point.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 01:27 AM

It isn't, but I'm aware that you don't understand this stuff so okay.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 01:26 AM

You're either making an effort to not understand what is being said, or you're just incapable of understanding it (at this point in your development atleast). Also, marriage has nothing to do with love. I assume you love your dad , are you gonna marry him? See how idiotic that is?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 12:25 AM
1

I've been expected to work for them, think for them and take on thier responsibilities. I find it hard to believe that you would choose to be with a man like this.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/23 03:54 PM

still feel light headed when he touches me I find that hard to believe but that's nice.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/23 03:52 PM
2

It's not just conservative women who think like this actually. But you're right about men not learning stuff like folding laundry and so on.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/23 03:10 PM
1

Thought you all wanted to lead and be the head of the family and the final voice of authority on everything while the women stayed quiet and agreeable and feminine? I'm not sure why you're asking me, I never said I wanted to lead anyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/23 03:08 PM
1

Who are you talking about when you say "you guys"?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/23 02:06 PM
1

Okay, thanks.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/23 07:18 AM
1

I guess you’re wanting a traditional marriage and her to be a stay at home mom. I didn't say any of this, I was answering your question.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/23 07:10 AM
1

Being the provider, being the "leader" and the one who takes charge and responsibility and so on.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/23 07:03 AM
3

Typically the mom does the bulk of the child rearing, Yeah, that's basically what I said in my original comment.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/23 06:58 AM
3

What do you think?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/23 06:55 AM
4

So women spend the most time raising who’s kids? Theirs. Is raising kids a form of work? Not really. It's a natural part of having kids.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/23 06:49 AM
5

THIS is the self victimization, the belief that the reality is men are being exploited by women. Okay then, if you say so.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/23 06:42 AM
0

It's not an idea, it's the reality. There's even a book that was written about by a woman, and its called 'The Manipulated Man'.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/23 06:34 AM
1

and if you believe that your “team” ie. the people you’re speaking for and are a part of are being exploited, then you’re victimizing yourself. Just because someone is a man doesn't mean they are my "team". Thats a silly way of looking at things.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/23 06:32 AM
6

like, I enjoy being relied on by a girl, I enjoy being leaned on and trusted to get things done - and i’m sure many guys feel that way too. Because they've been programmed to feel that way. What you call being "relied on" is basically being used, but you don't see it that way because you like it. Also can’t get over your use of “exploitation” here - like at least try to hide the self-victimization It has nothing to do with that. Being used by another person is a form of exploitation. The post is…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/23 06:20 AM
4

You are assuming this idea is dictated by women to men, It generally is since its women who spend the most time raising children and conditioning them to behave a certain way when they grow up. Weird post. Okay, so?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/23 05:43 AM
1

I'm not saying there isn't. I'm just asking what it means when you say you love your friend 85% less.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 02:30 PM
1

Okay, we'lI just have to agree to disagree.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 02:20 PM
1

It does as in “unconditional love will make a person probably more loving to the world” But the point I'm making is most people aren't loving, which is why the world is the way it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 02:18 PM
1

Then what's the point of parenting, if how you raise the child has no impact on how they turn out to be?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 02:12 PM
1

So now you only love him by 15%? What does that actually mean? What does 15% love look like in practise?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 02:08 PM
1

The point is unconditional love would make a difference in a child's life, which would impact how they turn out to be.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 02:06 PM
1

Maybe not, but it makes a difference in a childs life and determines how they grow up. For example, no psychopath has ever experienced unconditional love.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 01:50 PM
1

If it were the default then the world would be a very different place because it would be full of people who were loved unconditionally.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 01:46 PM
1

My best friend from high school has accumulated 3 DUIs in six years. I’m sorry he has a substance abuse problem, but he continues to put others at risk so I love him less When you say you love him less, what do you mean? Do you love him 20% less or 30% less? What percentage of your love did his DUIs take?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 01:45 PM
1

Totally, his moustache was pretty hot.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 01:35 PM
1

A selfless act isn't about it being unrewarding. It's about doing it regardless of the reward.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 01:34 PM
1

The reality is you don't live with those parents so you don't actually know what they're like behind closed doors.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 01:30 PM
2

Well, they think they do. But observing the real world tells me they don't, otherwise the world would be full of people who were loved unconditionally by their parents, which would influence their behaviour. And yet we live in a violent and insane world.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 01:21 PM
0

Love isn’t required to be unconditional. That's just like saying 2 + 2 isn't required to be 4. You would be technically right in saying this because noone requires it to be 4, but if you add 2 + 2 it still equals 4.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 01:04 PM
1

If it's unconditional, then do you feel it for everyone? Yes, it's just that in a "romantic" relationship, that love is reflected more intensely. Its just like how I love both my mum and my girlfriend, but i express my love for my girlfriend in a different way than I do my mum, but its the same love.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 12:56 PM
1

Like I said, it could go either way because it depends on the people involved in the relationship. Some people break up, and they still love each other and still communicate even after the break up.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 12:54 PM
2

Unconditional love only happens between parents and children. I hate to break it to you but, most parents don't even love their kids unconditionally.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 12:52 PM
0

If a woman jumps into a freezing river to save a kid’s dog, she’s going to feel good about herself for ensuring the kid’s happiness. Yeah, but that's after the fact. The point is, she isn't jumping into a freezing river because of how she'll feel after saving the dog, she's just doing it because it's the right thing to do. The feeling she gets after doing it is just a bonus, but it's not the reason she saved the dog.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 12:49 PM
-2

Generally speaking, most people's "love" isn't real, so in your scenario, it could go either way.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 12:46 PM
1

All of what you mentioned is based on what you get out of it. How is that selfless?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 12:45 PM
-4

Relationships still have love, it is just not unconditional. I'm sure I'll get downvoted to hell for saying this but, if it isn't unconditional then it isn't love.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 12:04 PM
-2

How exactly is that selfless? It isn't because it isn't love. That's my point.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 12:03 PM
0

Well, real love is selfless, and something transcational isn't selfless, it's a transaction.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 11:56 AM
0

What is the girl getting out of this? Obviously she doesn't see the guys as an unattractive and broke loser. Why would any girl be with a guy she thinks is an unattractive loser? Also, what you just described isnt the average relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 11:52 AM
-4

Or perhaps it’s just that “real love” itself is transactional/conditional in nature? Real love isn't transactional. It's the opposite of that.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 11:50 AM

I think that it’s expected of women. It doesn't actually matter what's expected of women. What matters is what you do. I as a man am expected to pay for dates and treat women like they're special, but that doesn't mean I actually have to do it just because it's expected of me. If you keep doing what's expected of you, why would it stop being expected of you? Women keep wearing makeup, so they keep being expected to wear it. Men expect sex for paying for dates and you think that’s not commodifica…

When a woman shaves her legs and underarms is that part of grooming? What about when women curl, flat iron, or blow dry their hair? Grooming or not grooming? Men don’t have to shave their legs, but I’m guessing you’d have an issue if your date showed up with exposed hairy legs. Look, all I'm telling you is you don't need makeup to be well groomed. If you insist that you do then that's on you. men don’t want them to because they want better access to sex. If you let a man pay and you know what's …

They really aren’t though. Just lookup tips on how to be well groomed as a woman, and almost every site will mention makeup. It doesn't matter what some website says. Makeup isn't part of grooming, otherwise men would never be well groomed because they don't wear it. You have to drop the double standards. Even Federal Appellate Court have held that makeup was part of women’s grooming. True or not, that's ridiculous. And if it is true, why don't women stand up against this stuff? If I just put in…

women are supposed to show up as the most groomed and attractive version of themselves. Grooming and make up are 2 different things. You don't need makeup to be well groomed and look attractive. The reality is you probably like wearing makeup and so you don't mind wearing it for a date. So this is a fake complaint. Also men believe that paying for dates gives them leverage and in some cases, obligates women to have sex. Yeah, because they've just spent money on you, so naturally they expect to g…

Where did you get the idea that this is happening regularly? If you reread what I wrote you'll notice that I said, if you have no money, your boyfriend will give it to you, but the reverse rarely happens. I didnt anything about getting it regularly. I'm not exempt from being a provider. It's generally men who are expected to provide. The post isn't about you specifically, it's about women in general. so this point means nothing. It definitely means something to men in countries where drafting ha…

Because in the next breath, you're telling women they will die alone with their cats. When did I say this? You're responding to my post with a comment that has nothing to do with the content of my post.

"well if one woman like this exists in the history of the world then I'm right" It was a sarcastic example. Look, plenty of people in the comments have pointed out that the premise of your post is nonsense And plenty more like the post, who cares? It's pointless, you are wrong. Well, okay. If you say so.

Well, like I said, If you made a similar post about men, I wouldn't assume you mean all men because I would know that I, for one, am not like the men you'd be describing, so I wouldn't be bothered.

Don't go moving the goalposts now honey How am I moving goal posts? You said I made up the post, but if women like that exist in reality, how is that made up?

Would you like to be "led" and let a woman take control of your life and decisions? No, but women are willing to let a man lead them and do all that stuff, thats my point. My boyfriend doesn't randomly give me money either lol but good to know I never said he does.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 02:37 PM

No individual decides what is interesting or not. Well, I do.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 02:35 PM

Did you actually think my post is referring to literally all women? Why would you think that? If you made a post about men, I wouldn't assume you mean literally all men.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 02:33 PM

I never said they don't. You said women don't need men for their resources, and I said some women still use them for their resources.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 02:04 PM

I was obviously being sarcastic myself, I don't even know what your emoji means.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 01:52 PM

Stop assuming everything wants the same thing you do or finds the same things interesting. When did I assume this?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 01:50 PM

Saying a man can be uninteresting and still find a wife is not made up either. Never said it was. We don’t need you for “resources”. You may not be aware of this, but some women use men for their resources.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 01:49 PM

Exactly.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 01:46 PM

I didn't say any of that. I simply asked, if your friends had no money, don't you think their boyfriends would give them some? You don't have to be rich to give someone money.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 01:34 PM

When you make a reddit post, what do you look to get out of it? You are correct, us women have it so easy in comparison to men. Okay, if I'm right then whats the probllem?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 01:32 PM
-3

You're right, the idea that a woman can be uninteresting and still find a provider is completely made up. No such thing has ever happened in human history.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 01:29 PM

“I made this shit up so I could whine how hard life is for men”. Regardless of what you prefer to think, saying a woman can be uninteresting and still find a provider is not made up. It happens all the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 01:17 PM

If a man finds a woman attractive, to him it doesn't matter whether she]s "universally attractive" or not, that's my point.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 01:15 PM

I didn't say any of that. I just said my post is a generalisation, while your comment was about your own experience which I can't confirm or deny because its your experience. You could make it up and I wouldn't know.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 01:07 PM

The truth is if the post was so out of touch it would have been downvoted into obliovion within the first 10 minutes, but the opposite is the case.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 01:02 PM

Okay, but what delusion were you talking about? If you're saying pretty women can afford to be uninteresting, how am I living in delusion by saying a similar thing, since "pretty" can be subjective?

I wish.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 12:44 PM

The responses I'm getting are interesting. There's responses like yours, and then there's people pretending like what I wrote in the post has no basis in reality. Some guy even said I'm hopelessly out of touch for saying that it's the norm for boyfriends to give money to girlfriends but not the other way around, even though this is a well known thing.

You took something ONE woman said and are now generalizing it to all women? It was an example. The fact that many people are liking the post means they've noticed the same things.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 12:32 PM

Stop living in your delusion. What delusion? That women can be uninteresting and still find a provider?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 12:15 PM

Either way, those words came from a woman. So maybe she's out of touch.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 12:05 PM

Your post implies a universality though, The post is generalising, as you do when talking about a group of people. The fact that other people see what I'm saying means it's not just my personal experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 11:53 AM

Realistically, you'll probably find someone else who's lazy and boring. She probably won't bother with him if he's lazy because how is he gonna provide her with all the things she needs? If she has options, there's no way she'd choose someone like that. there isn't some endless supply of interesting or rich men so you certainly won't get much money or entertainment. I make observations about society and I make reddit posts and YouTube videos about it. You could say this about any other topic I write about. Also, I'm biologically programmed to be attracted to women and therefore have to deal with women who are looking to manipulate men to get material things from them. Some women even go on dates for the free food, and if I go on a date, I have to consider things like that.

Cooking, cleaning, child rearing, and sex (in a traditional relationship) are all provided by her. And the man pays for it by being the provider and taking charge and being the "leader" and by taking care of his adult child wife.

It’s hard not to take that personally as a woman. What do you think we can do as a society to address this? Not raise boys and girls in different ways, and teach them the same values. And not condition the girl to think just because she's a girl she needs a man to provide for her and treat her like a queen. Women need to also be made aware that being a woman doesn't mean you don't have masculine energy that you can use to lead yourself and be independent instead of depending on a man. If women don't depend on men, they won't need to manipulate …

You believe that women manipulate men Yeah, me and Esther Vilar and any man who has seen the manipulation of women, which does exist btw. believe that women manipulate men to satisfy their needs Well, women say they need a provider and a leader so they manipulate to get these things. or do you think it’s a byproduct of societal conditioning? It's mostly social conditioning.

/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 02:39 AM

That women are manipulative in nature? I'm not the one who chose the title for book, the woman who wrote it did. women are outlined in a villainous way in this book? They are outlined as they really are, by another woman no less.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 02:37 AM

but can I ask about your personal relationships with women? I get along great with them. In fact, I never ask girls for their number, I give them mine and they text me and when we hang out its always enjoyable. I get along so well with them that for my ball in the last year of highschool, two girls I knew asked me to be their date, and I went with both of them (they went to different schools). That men are manipulated by women into being their providers and into treating them like they're special while not looking behind the veil of makeup to see the real being behind it.

do you have any information on their education level? I don't have to. If their mental level was beyond being provided for and cooking and cleaning, they wouldn't do it and would pursue their desires. But jnstead, they "sacrifice" their desires to get some guy to provide for them.

men wouldn’t be complaining about women being entitled and not needing them I've never heard any man complain that women don't need him, unless he wants to get used because that's what happens when women "need" you. I've heard men complain about not getting laid, but not about being needed by women. Also, may women are entitled. If expecting to be treated special and having a man pay for you isn't entitlement then I don't know what is.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 01:08 AM

Yeah most women don't want that. Many women than you think do. Even the ones who say they don't want that wouldn't mind having a man provide for them and take charge, that's why it's a turn off for so many women when a man let's them pay for their own stuff on a date.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 01:03 AM

You're say this on a thread where there are women literally saying they want to be provided for and led because that's what masculinity is. And it does benefit them, because they get to not take responsibility and just live a material life.

Because women love getting an allowance from hubby like an 8 year old. Way more women than you think actually don't mind this arrangement. To them real masculinity is when a man provides for them, leads them and basically takes responsibility so they don't have to. And real femininity is accepting this treatment. Women are aware that marriage to a conservative man means they trade freedom for a lifetime of domestic service to the family and servitude to a husband who pays the bulk of the bills. I know. My point is they don't really mind this deal because they're not really interested in freedom in the first place. They'd much rather be provided for.

Women enjoy it about as much as men. I doubt it. Many women want to stay at home and be provided for. If it was all that hard, they wouldn't be willing to be completely dependent on a man, when all they get in return is handwork. Women have ambitions beyond being responsible for and looking after everyone else all day just like men. And yet many women are very willing to drop these ambitions and let a man work for them. It's very telling that you think cleaning and cooking is a "mental level" as opposed to a life necessity. It's a life necessity but trading your freedom and independence by staying home and cooking in return for being provided for requires a certain mental level.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 01:35 PM

So really, if you do want a woman who will fill a very specific role in your life, why would it weird you out when they see you as a machine to provide for them? I'm just pointing out the fact that some women see men as machines, and they dont really care much for them beyond that. Whether it weirds me out and why isn't the point, it's actually kind of a weird question. You're basically asking why men being objectified in their relationships weird me out.

men still are not able to give birth and nurse babies. Well, apparently they can if you google it. Also, giving birth isn't a reason to want someone to provide for you and take responsibility for you and your life by leading you you and taking charge. Giving birth isn't a disability. If women are exactly the same as men, why are you attracted to women and not to men? This has nothing to do with my post. Women give birth. Women could not hunt because they're scared of danger and not strong. Men can hunt because they're strong and less scared of danger. They keep the species alive. Only women keep the species alive? What does that even mean? You would be worried if they didn't give a shit about resources Not if I'm an adult who can provide for himself. But I'm a man so maybe I have some advantage that women don't have that makes me more capable of providing for my self and being independent.

There is a reason why the idea of a stay at home dad is mostly frowned upon The fact that you can't separate the value of a person from their monetary contribution is a you problem. It's not about me, it's about society. I'm just pointing out how it works. Women themselves are interested in men's monetary contribution, its one the main things that matter to them, because th…

I think you need to read the post before you reply because your comments add nothing to the discussion. It's just silly rhetorical questions that aren't even relevant because the post isn't about me personally.

If you think dinner is enough to raise that woman's body count, what are you thinking about the value of that woman? It doesn't matter what I think. The fact is to some women not paying is a turn off, and you only find out who they are when you don't pay.

My husband doesn't see me as a dumb child but as a partner who is providing to our family something he can't. The truth is is you'll never really know how someone actually sees you. And as long as someone is providing for you, they will feel better than you in some way. Money is a symbol of status for a reason.

It's a mature trait Which women are not expected to have because they are not held to the same standard. I believe some men find accomplishment and purpose on being a provider, Because they're idiots who were raised by women who conditioned them to be idiots.

I agreed with you until your last sentence. Why would you take it out of context? I was talking about the 1900's, clearly.

If you aren't comfortable saying what you want then getting mad that you didn't get it is dumb as shit. The post isn't about me. But it seems you're making a conscious effort to not get what I'm saying and then downvote my responses so sure, whatever.

Men are providers, women are caretakers. This is my point. As long as people think this, woman will never be seen as equal. If a man chooses to provide for some women who needs a provider, he will only do it because he gets something out of it. He'll play the provider and she will serve him, which is what has happened throughout history and led to feminism. The only people who get provided for are children and women. And nobody really looks up to someone they have to provide for. Just because th…

You don't discuss dates upfront before going on them? I don't discuss payment, just like I don't discuss payment with my friends. I find it strange that this is new to you. Most normal men don't discuss payment when they're setting up a date. But maybe where you live is completely different so this is all new to you somehow.

and we should not be punished as a gender and treated as unequal just because of something patriarchy put in place to begin with. It's not about being punished and it's not about blaming the patriarchy. I mean we have sayings like "behind every powerful man is a powerful woman" for a reason. Historically women have spent more time rasing boys than men have so they're also responsible.

Being clear about your intentions and expectations from the beginning (in a polite and respectful way) is one of the building blocks of a good relationship. Its just not realistic to expect a man to tell a woman that he's gonna split the check when he knows there's a big chance she'll see that as a turn off. That's literally why most men pay in the first place.

Use your words...? Okay. And what do you say and in what context? Common sense should tell you that to find out whether a woman expects you to pay or not, you'd generally have to go on a date with her. Unless you're psychic or something.

No, but it does mean equally taking responsibility for our lives and being independent, whether or not you have boobs.

But unfortunately, sometimes if a guy doesn’t at least offer to pay it can be a sign he’s got a chip on his shoulder or isn’t that interested. See, if you were grabbing lunch or coffee with another woman, would you expect her to atleast offer to pay? Probably not. If she offers, that's great and if she doesn't, who cares, right? So why shouldn't the same apply to men? These double standards get in the way of true equality. it can be a sign he’s got a chip on his shoulder or isn’t that interested…

Women are special for being women - That's ridiculous and doesn't actually mean anything. It's absurd to believe that someone is special just because of their gender. they create life. They need a man for that to happen. Also, what's so special about life? Even animals "create" life. It's a biological thing, it doesn't make someone special. Men and women are different, period. No shit. That doesn't have any impact on someone's ability to provide for themselves and be independent.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 01:41 PM

just avoid dating women who suck? How do you know which woman expects you to pay and all that unless you go on a date with them?

Unfortunately I ALWAYS HAD TO LIVE on my own working class salary Yeah, you and almost everyone else. None of what you're saying changes the point being made. And then they come to Reddit to complain that women are tOo EnTiTlEd You don't think expecting to be treated as a queen just because of your gender is being too entitled?

The man might pay for a date because he thinks it will make him a better date and more likely that it will lead to sex, not because the woman doesn’t have her own money or is asking him to. The reality is since a large number of women see a man not paying for the date as a red flag, most men will just pay to increase their chances of getting laid or getting her to like him or whatever because for men to not pay is generally frowned upon.

It's funny how everything PPD dudes don't like is just social programming and everything they want to believe is fact is biology/nature. Things like women expecting men to pay for dates and being preoccupied with their appearance are definitely social conditioning.

Considering some women actually believe that, I couldn't tell.

Did men decide that? Yeah, some did. Especially those who were in power

If only some women want to be treated special just because they are women, could you not agree that some men expect women to be transactional and perform for them. This is actually what happens in a lot of cases.
