What most people call "love" is just sexual attraction, and once this attraction disappears, then the "love" also disappears. What people call "love" is basically just a magnetic pull towards another person, and for men this pull is usually based on the woman's physical appearance, and for women this pull is usually based on both physical appearance and what the guy can provide for them (an escape from boredom, entertainment, money and so on). But at the end of the day, the "love" doesn't really have much to do with the other person, it has more to do with what you project onto them.

In the average relationship, people just pretend to be loving, but they don't actually love each other. What actually happens is that both people just use each other, and we call this love. Ultimately, we're all just slaves to nature and biology, and love is just like a bait. The real desire of nature is to reproduce, so what we call "love" is basically just a chemical reaction designed to get us to reproduce, but it has nothing to do with real love.
