This is exactly what I'm convinced of. Even if he claims were soul bonded, this is an abusive relationship.

i wouldn’t say above average but 8/10, i’m 22 and this was about 6 years ago.

I feel some incidents were raped as when I took xanax I was blacked out and didn’t realize for 4 days that I even had sex. A few other times I was underage. Although yes, I put myself in all these situations, and was not being careful. But no, I will not lie

Thank you for this very in detail response. I’m going to get help and heal. I am not my trauma or pain, but a loving woman who is excited to be a a wife and mother. I worry that my ex manipulates me because he says he still wants to be with me. He says if I’m not I’ll end up like my mother, she ruined her life after divorcing my father. It’s all very scary.

I understand but it’s not that I was kinky but I wanted to be loved so I went from guy to guy, and unfortunately I was mainly under alcohol or xanax during 85% of these experiences. I wasn’t turned on or thought it was hot, I felt assaulted

Thank you. I relate to your comment as I also suffered from childhood emotional neglect and narcissistic parenting. I’m thinking this is how I get in these situations, it’s all deeply related to my childhood and how I was searching for love even then. I just made many mistakes when I was teenager and I pray now that I have Gods love and that is enough for me.

Thank you for your insight. It’s good to know there’s a male here who can also share their opinion on the topic. What I did wasn’t right and I gave my ex everything I could of; loyalty, care and love, I think we didn’t see eye to eye on some things sadly. He says he looked past what I did and is kinda upset i’m not with him, but I have a hard time being with him because of the past abuse.

Thank you for being so open. I pray you can heal from your current situation as well, and rejoice in Gods love. We don’t deserve the abuse or hardship, at the end of the day we all want honest and truthful love. It takes bravery to be honest about such a hurtful past and I hope through honest work God can give us both then men we deserve. Thank you for your kindness and I pray for you as well.

Thank yo for this comment, it was really insightful. I thought I let my former bf know about me; who i was, my likes & dislikes, etc. but it seems from his end that wasn’t enough as my past overruled it. I understand his POV tho as he gave me love and everything and I “fucked him over” in the end. He’s has smacked me in the face and I left him over the time.. I’m guessing he was hurt he gave so much to me just for me to leave but I didn’t know if i could stay after the semi abusive moments. I’ll…

You’re beautiful for this comment, thank you so much, I pray that I can find peace through these mishaps and build a relationship with God where I’m not hiding and running away

I completely understand that, I just wouldn’t want to be with someone who doesn’t know the real me and the mistakes I’ve made. I’ve been thinking about joining my woman’s group at church to connect with other ladies. The drug addiction didn’t help, and a big portion of this comes from childhood trauma (that is no excuse) but during that time in my life I was looking for an escape through drugs or suicide even, I’m much better now but I feel broken that I hurt my ex and how much this effected him…

Thank you for your kind comment. I feel so broken right now. I’m afraid I won’t find anyone half as good as him. But truly, I felt raped and assaulted in many of those situations, that is no excuse as I put myself in them though. I just hope I can align my wants with my actions and make better choices to hopefully find a loving man, I just know this is hard to accept

Yes but what makes it hard is he keeps telling me that when we get back together it will be different. I feel really bad because after the break up i started to date again and I feel pretty guilty about that :(

I’m open about everything, except I try to not talk about my sexual past. We had talks about it but to bring it up again is unnecessary imo

as in “take my life away” it would be the business, travel, the ability to work from home & for ourselves

no you’re right! i need to have the courage to back away!! overall i’m a good woman with a good heart, and i deserve more. i deserve someone who has never put their hands on me (all women do!)

thank you for saying this! i appreciate this community & the insight we all share. i’m just a lost 21 year old (never usually lost but i feel like im dealing with an impossible man) we have good moments and there is love but im just so beaten down & afraid and he says “the fear will go away” but idk.

no not at all actually. i was very coherent during that time & was aware of what i was doing, i’m okay with being rejected by the other guy. i’m just terrified of my ex finding that out

i can’t, i think that’s the major reason why i’m so hesitant to move back. he really wants me back in the house & is quite adamant about it. i’m just scared of being alone & being treated how i once was.

the thing i can’t wrap my mind around is if he’s an abuser or just a red pilled man? he’s knowledgeable, handsome, has drive, i’m afraid i won’t find this again in a person. i really need some belief in myself :( i’m not sure if i should just cut the cord

truthfully i do think he was. and i feel bad how i “wasn’t” but i felt he did me very dirty by talking to this random girl online & ignoring our relationship issues

i’m really trying to do that. if he found out about what i did i would be so fucked. i’m kinda afraid of him but then my heart is like “go back”

can’t tell if that’s what this is? i’m afraid he’s going to take my life away

No it’s okay! I can understand how it may sound that way. but seriously what did you mean by think it through? Obviously it’s about building character, doing a 180, and changing my life & perspective, which I kinda did already; i don’t sleep around, i have a business, i’ve traveled with my ex, so i’m just curious by what you meant

It’s not that i have triggers, or anything like that. I did a lot of work and the situation that happened to me as almost 6 years ago. What do you mean “if you want a serious relationship think it through”? I just got out of a 3 year relationship with a man, it was good, we were going to get married but it just didn’t work out.

It’s not that i’m scared, it’s that i feel i deserve more but i suppose i’m scared that what if i’m psyching myself out. I plan to move to Mexico & travel south America

This was not my first but my second relationship. I plan to get it together within these few months, and move to a new country. From there just focus on business & work with my ex as strictly business partners. I appreciate the kind words & pray that Mr. Right is out there

That’s actually something that was very hard for us. It basically went like this: We both agreed we were going to work on ourselves, I then make a minor mistake that irritates him, then he’ll bottle it up over time, and then get angry. It was never like we sat and communicated daily about how we can fix this relationship, it only came out when we had a huge fight. We started dating when I was 18 & he was 21. We wanted to get away from our home state, move across the country & build a company. we…

When it came to client work yes, I was the only one. he was doing studying, & other online work. I feel like I have to move on because I am doing so much & I feel like I need time to grow. Plus he has said things to me in the past that i just can’t get over. I wish it wasn’t like this but I’m trying to prepare myself for the future world.

While I deeply understand that I felt I was doing almost everything around the house & business. I was getting the clients, doing the work, spending time with him, taking care of myself, cleaning a home, running errands. He never helped once with errands or even client work. I felt like I was being the leader & also being his feminine woman. It was a lot, all while I tried to care & comfort him & deal with financial struggles. I felt like I put more in than him. So I thought that would make him …

We have been in this relationship for almost 3 years. I think a back story is important, I’m 21 & he is 24. We have many hobbies in common, traveling, running our business. but he recently told me he needs someone more mature, more womanly, he told me he does not see me as the mother of his children & that hurt. I was so sure I knew what I wanted & was ready to commit. I was willing to let a lot go for this relationship but he has only been in & out of relationships for the last 6 years, I think…
