You need to leave. Your safety and potentially life depend on it.

This man has proven himself to be abusive. What you saw and experienced then as a girlfriend are merely a teaser trailer for what is to come should you go back to him and become his wife. He is unfaithful to you. He is entirely separated from your family and will likely eventually expect you to also separate yourself.

This man is not high value. I know you feel a lot toward him and have fond memories, and leaving is easier said than done, but you cannot and should not go back to him. You are young and have many wonderful qualities.

You already did the hard part of breaking it off. Please don’t blow your efforts by going back to that. There is so much more to life…so many men who would treat you better and add to your life & happiness instead of drain it all away. He is not a quality man! Do yourself a favor and focus on leveling up mentally and physically. The best feeling will be when you realize you did not need him all along meanwhile he has to live with himself and how he mistreated you.

Bottom line, you do not deserve ANY of that!

Edit* I see you mentioned he depends on you for money because of a business you own? Too bad for him! Seriously! You OWE HIM NOTHING! Don’t look back and don’t feel guilty for it. He did this to himself with the horrible ways in which he treated you being abusive and a cheater. Cut him off, block him, and potentially get an order of protection against him!

I’ve gone through a break up like this when I was 14. The best way I got through it was blocking him on everything and totally ignoring him. Granted it might be harder seeing as your older but its what helped me.

Leave. Do not ask any further. Just go. I know this sub is big on not suggesting this but sweetheart, this is abusive behavior. He doesn't want to see your parents because he doesn't want others to see his behavior. He can't keep up a facade when around them I guess. He moved you across country to keep away from them. He's cheating on you with multiple women. Even if it's just emotional through a phone, it's still cheating if he's trying to keep it from you which he sucks at.

I look at it this way, if you have to ask, it's bad. He is an ex for a reason. Apparently there is something he finds of value in you. I don't mean that in a sweet way. As in he takes advantage that you do love him to where it benefits him and not you. It could be emotional to financial. You could be an ATM to him for all I know. Cut the losses. Pull out of anything you share together. Split it, buy out, whatever and go your own separate way.

Excuse the rough language, but block him, stop working with him, and stay the fuck away from him.

Since physical abuse was involved, it's not safe for him to still know your address. If you can't immediately relocate or get a restraining order, you need to have an airtight plan in the event that he shows up at your place unexpectedly. You also need to have friends or family to help you cope with the breakup, heal from the abuse, and protect you if he tries anything.
