yup. the class divide will only get worse with ai taking over blue collar jobs. no real solution right now, and i doubt the rich controlling the government and having the loudest voice in society will ever agree to UBI

you have no clue what could be happening in that woman's life. compassion and empathy are very feminine traits and it seems like you're incapable of showing either.

did she choose to have depression? did she actively plan a child KNOWING she would be depressed? no. she chose to have a child, and it's extremely unfortunate that she has ppd, but it is not her fault.

it is not selfish, it's just unfortunate. it would be selfish if she chose to have children while knowing she would be unhappy. but she didnt. many parents share the same sentiment, and it's very sad, but nobody can predict things like that.

red pill women are not a monolith. the point of rpw is to serve as a "tool box" to have better relationships. of course there will be different levels. for many people, cheating, drugs, etc etc are not indicative of hvm and absolute deal breakers. this doesnt mean they are not red pilled, it just means they have deal breakers, like most people do. as you said, some women WILL stay through infidelity. not even because they are more red pilled sometimes, maybe it's because they dont see cheating a…

no. what happened was NOT YOUR FAULT. that man is a CREEP who threatened to RAPE YOU and then forced himself onto you. it does not matter if you were literally butt ass naked in front of him. there was no consent. maybe against the grain here, but do not let him see your daughter. i would like to remind you that he was perfectly okay with RAPING YOU. there is absolutely no excuse for that behavior and i do not want to IMAGINE the thoughts he could possibly have about your daughter. this is so ab…

like with many things in life, if depends on the woman. personally, im chill with being fwbs. i mean, i got a bf rn but prior to dating him i was cool with casual sex. i understand that i would not be winning these men over by sleeping with them, and i was totally fine with that. "like him" is an ambiguous term. like his personality? maybe not. like his penis? probably.

ive had sex with a lot of people. i wouldnt recommend it, but i also do not regret it. it simply is what it is. i think i am one of few who genuinely does not feel emotional attachment unless i actively choose to feel attachment. sex is sex, it is mutual objectification, and i am fine with that. i just don't think n-count really matters. and most will disagree, and that's fine. some men will not want to date me, and that is also fine. i think at the end of the day, it's about what you value and …

lol it's very well known that women develop faster than men?? it's been proven over and over. please tell me where exactly in the article it states that the way boys learn is wrong. almost all teacher are female because women naturally fall towards caregiving roles like nursing or education. regardless, your child will be taught by female teachers, or their mother, who is also female. i dont get your point. maybe you should stay at home and teach your children to make them more masculine. the ar…

question: if you don't have the monetary ability to keep the kids at home, how does one make sure boys are getting the education they need, tied to their attention span? under the assumption that this article is true, how do you make sure boys are being taught properly?

all of my tattoos have personal meaning and frankly i just like the way they look. i also like piercings because the way they look. i guess everything boils down to me liking the way they look. i dont think im particularly swayed by social media or social groups. ive always thought piercings were pretty, way before i had access to the internet.

this will probably be controversial, but i wanted to give some input from a child of parents with mental disorders my mom's family has a long history of bipolar disorder, so surprise surprise, i also have bd. i hated her for a long time. i didnt understand why she would want to have kids when she's had family members kill themselves and put loved ones through tramatic experiences during episodes. she's a great mom, but i blamed her for a long time. This is hearsay, but my mom's friend became a sahm. She originally worked in computer science and had a very well paid but demanding job. She tried to go back into the industry when the kids hit highschool, but she wasn't able to get a job. The tech industry moves extremely fast so that 17ish year gap did not look great on her resume. Also, her husband left her and now she works at a hotel trying to make ends meet.

i dont know. my friend's (indian) parents had an arranged marriage. to different people. obviously they werent forced per se, but there was a lot of societal pressure and they couldnt really say no. then his mom's first husband cheated on her. then his parent's got together willingly, in a not arranged marriage, and are much happier. so no, you are not guaranteed a hvm.

maybe this would do better in TRP? this sub is mostly about commitment, not rape role play. unless you're suggesting that hvm crave to rape women? and as a hvw you should be okay with that...?

this book really is lovely. i think it's important to note how flawed the characters are, but remember that it isn't because they are inherently bad people. people need to make tough decisions and unfortunately, life is not fair and some of these tough decisions will mess up your life. i would argue that none of these characters are good rpw role models and none of them are bad. you can cherry pick actions and intentions, but none of the characters inherently embody what rpw stands for/opposes. …

i would say that you should just stop with the criticism, unless it's extremely important. who cares if the clothes arent properly folded? is it extremely important that all the dishes are done at one time? if i wanted to help out and my s/o was constantly making comments about what im doing wrong, i wouldnt want to help. it would be best to trust him to take care of things and let him do it his own way

I'm sorry :(( I know therapy is suggested a lot, but I think it has merit and it may be worth your time. I'm sure that you will find some as good/better than your ex, but you first need to stop idealizing him, which therapy would help with. I'm sorry I can't offer more, but I wish you the best of luck.

thank you for answering! if you dont mind me asking, and i dont want to start a debate, how do you feel about abortion? i feel like it's a weird topic for libertarians. should the government get the power to dictate that people cannot have abortions? or should abortions be illegal because abortions violate NAP and thus the government must uphold NAP?

i totally agree, politics is extremely multifarious and makes it difficult to pinpoint where you land on a 1d line. unfortunately, in the US at least, not sure where you're from, politics loses all nuance when it comes to elections and becomes a dichotomy. if you dont mind me asking, could you give me some political opinions that are important in today's society? taxes, second amendment, abortion, healthcare, etc etc

okay, so what is a HVM job? pretty much every single job is based on obedience, whether it be answering to a boss, or answering to buyers and stakeholders. you are also severely misjudging activists. the point of being an activist is to make change in the system. you either believe that obeying the system is bad, and then people in academia are bad and activists are good, or you think that fighting against the system is bad, in which case you would admit that academia is good.

Just to be honest, I would consider myself far more blue-pilled than most people on this subreddit. Politically, I side with your girlfriend more than you. I think it is important to understand that her idea of "thinking logically" is different than yours. Nobody ever thinks they have irrational opinions; I am sure that she believes she is thinking logically. Obviously, you can try the regular debating strategies. I would honestly try to figure out what convinces her the best. Facts? Articles/ne…

We are both political people, and usually up for good debate. He doesn't think the sex offender registry should exist, like how felons should be able to vote. I agree with his stance in all honesty, but I don't want to talk about it. I think he felt as if I would be able to handle a debate on that topic because we have casual debates all the time. I was not able to handle it, and I don't think he was able to see that based on my facial expressions/body language.

So one fight we had was because I made a (bad) joke in front of his family and some of his family friends. I said that AnCap (anarcho capitalism) means anti-capitalism. A couple days after, he said that I was an embarrassment and he wouldn't introduce me to his friends in the future. I apologized for the joke and then said that he should've called me out at that point in time, and then I would've clarified that it was a joke. In the end, we agreed to communicate more and give clear boundaries ab…

Thank you for the reply! We are not in a LDR. We see each other close to every day. We do talk long term, but not super directly. We plan on going to the same university, not because of the relationship, but because we both like in-state tuition haha. I know what he wants in his future and he knows what I want.
