Hello ladies (and gents!), looking for some insight. As the title says, how important is intelligence in relationships? Is being too intelligent a turn off?

As some background, I am newly 18 and a sophomore in college pursing a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I've always been relatively studious, I try to keep my grades up, spend time studying, when I'm not studying I am reading articles/research papers/whatever, and basically try to be academically smart.

I personally think it's extremely important to stay educated on political topics and tech developments. However, I am worried that my constant need to know things is a turn off for high value men, and maybe I should tone it down a bit, otherwise I seem like a prick.

I would love some insight on this, especially from other women who are pursuing/in STEM fields. Thank you guys!
