I don't necessarily believe in true feminism. I wouldn't say trumpers aren't "true Republicans". I sort of believe movements are governed by the loudest voices allowed to speak for them. And in the case of feminism today, it's just not looking good. Another small nitpick is that you mention how patriarchy benefits a small minority of men. I agree very strongly with that, but I don't think general feminist ideas do. There seems to be a great interest in pointing out male privilege, but deny any p…

I've never met a feminist address male suicide head on, they usually brush it aside and say that women attempt suicide at higher rates but with less lethal means. As for women in the military and dangerous positions, particularly the draft, they generally say there shouldn't be a draft at all, but they somehow only mention men in the draft when it is brought up to them. They never started any conversation of an institutional process that can kill thousands of men against their will. Men complain…

Almost all of the authority figures in my life were women. My parent are divorced, all my teachers were women, and all of my bosses have been women. I had a very late growth spurt, and I was one of the smallest kids at my school, which I was bullied about. Primarily by women. I grew up pretty shy and timid as a result, which was then the new thing I was bullied about. Again, mostly by women. My masculinity was always in question. But not by men. This may go against the grain of what most people …

Exactly, meeting people to date in person is extremely difficult. The culture of dating now starts online, and all of the toxicityof that comes with it. To find someone, you have to go through the soul crushing environment of tinder bumble and hinge. I often see people here trying to tell people to stick with IRL dating if online dating is hurting them. I don't think a lot of people realize online dating isn't just some spinoff dating. It's how it's done now and it's not really avoidable if you'…

Online dating culture has changed significantly in recent years. Only dating used to be way better. Even tinder 7 years ago was a totally different place.

Because there's only men and women? Any claim of one being difficult can only be compared to the other. It doesnt get easier than being a woman in the dating scene. That's the easiest it gets.

I'll be honest, this doesn't make sense on a mathematical or logical level at all. Having more options means having more good options. Having less options as a man means there are less good options as well. So yes, acknowledging that women have lots of men to search for does it mean it's easier for them. Unless somehow you think the vast majority of men are terrible people, and the vast majority of women are good people, there's no way it's coming out equal.

That's the thing, I don't think she was trying to come back. When I followed up the next days she just said she's better now. She was just desperate and wanted me for the night.

This subreddit is so confusing... I agree with you that that is what a relationship should be. But I suggested that relationships should be 50/50 here and was told that I should probably date men then... I really do want to believe that there are a lot of women like you out there. But I haen't met one. My parents relationship wass not 50 50. None of my family has a 50 50 relationship l. Every girl I dated expected more than 50 50. I've visited women centered subreddits to see different perspecti…

That's not what happened. I didn't go into all that much detail with what I went through, I just told her I relate and understand. This led to her coming over to hang out several times before she disappeared. She was the one who brought up and went into detail about her recent struggles. I only mentioned it because she seemed a bit embarrassed about it, and she told me it really helped her.

I agree with you, the manosphere kinda ruined this place for me. I never was involved in any of that, and I don't like andrew tate. But I think everyone in this sub just assumes that the "red pill" is being a supporter of these figures. My experiences with women in the real world have messed me up, not some online community that never goes outside. I don't have those values that they share about high value men and low body count women or whatever. I'm just trying to live my life

Because they day before she flaked on that date she told me how excited she was, and that she couldn't wait to see me again. Then she delayed that morning, and canceled after we set a new time. That's not honest.

Don't worry, they've told me why. As I said, I've been told I'm not aggressive and assertive enough, too nice, and too short. This girl didn't tell me why though, I guess that was some drunk projecting. But you know, patterns.

I don't think you read my post correctly. I didn't use her as a therapist, she used me as a therapist, and I use my past experiences to comfort her. I was the one providing that support and helping her, not the other way around. The way she helped me is that she was a person who I could try to make happy, which is all I want really.

I don't think it's dramatic. She experienced the catharsis of opening up about some deep problems we both shared and then basically went "k thanks bye" She lied to me about how she felt. Turns out I didn't mean anything to her.

I hope that's not what happened here. This girl meant a lot to me in the short time I knew her and if I knew that she left because she thought she wasn't good enough I would do anything to show that that isn't true. The problem I'm having is that she knew I struggled like she did, and I made it clear that I was a person who understood these anxiety problems and that I sympathized greatly with the struggle. Honestly at some point anecdotes are just patterns. I'm right off the heels of last weekend were a girl broke things off with me for the same reasons as above. This makes me 5 for 5. We met on tinder, but flaked on our first date. Turns out the reasoning was she has anxiety problems, and her med switch had her in a rough place. I just went through a very similar problem a month before. We opened up through texts and she told me I was a genuine, kind person. She said she was relieved we were able…

First of all, I don't know a single man that would not date a girl who makes more money then him. I have, however heard from countless women that the man has too make more than her and this is non negotiable. Also, when people say don't show emotion as a man, that's not because they think that's how it should be. It's because opening up to women and showing emotion is the easiest way to get them to break up with you. Ask one of your woman friends how she feels when she sees a man cry. Every woma…

I've had some very mixed experiences here. Sometimes it's helpful, sometimes it's harmful. But when it's harmful it hurts. Being told my experiences didn't happen, or even confirming a red pilled idea and asking why it's even a problem. Sometimes this sub also seems to be ignorantly nieve, or even pretend very common occurances never happen. It can feel like you are being gaslighted when you have these experiences eating you up inside, and then to open up on here and have people say "that almost…

They're worse than red pill. Red pill is a warning of "how women really are" and what they really want. FDS are women exactly as RP describes, and they're fucking proud of it. Men are just resources to them. They don't really acknowledge men as human beings. They're pink pill feminists. But you might as well be call them "red pill theory: exhibit A" And you know what's really scary? That sub has 250 thousand followers. There are a LOT of these ladies.

Wanting a low body count partner has nothing really to do with redpill itself, to my understanding at least. Redpill on its own is just discovering the "supposed" truth about how women are with men. Anything you do with that is on you.

I think the real reason is that most men absolutely suck as romantic and/or sexual partners, women don't want to deal with them and that's that. To be honest, women in general are not by comparison incredibly wonderful people, in fact I think most of them are also pretty insufferable but just from the sample size of all the men and women I've ever known, men are so much worse by a huge margin. You know, I think I'm just about done here on this sub. Too many times this sub is just devolving into …

It's not that easy. Blackpill is just a way to describe yourself, no one WANTS to be blackpilled. They aren't happy with how they perceive the world. You can't just change that, you need to find a new perspective that satisfies you, or prove yourself wrong. It's kinda like if you were an atheist but were terrified of death. Just because you find comfort in the idea of the afterlife doesn't mean you believe in it.

I don't know why everyone here is saying otherwise, it's been documented that male loneliness and sexlessness has been rising every year for a while now. People, but especially men, are lonelier now than they have ever been.

This sub will say something about how "its not like that in real life" Online dating is real life. This is reality now. Its how most couples are meeting, and its still fucking terrible. Its as bad as it seems. The future of dating is unsustainable, incels are going to be an increasingly growing problem. I hate everything about dating today.

women who cheat in long term relationships are generally doing so because their emotionally needs aren't met. This isn't an excuse. Anyone who cheats will give a bullshit reason. I bet most men who cheat say basically the same thing, their needs weren't being met. Stop giving excuses to bad women's behavior. It feeds the red pill.

Many feminists are already doing this, paying their own dinner bills and being open to being the breadwinner in the relationship instead of expecting that from men. I want to believe you, but I literally never see this. Even bringing up that there is a problem in this area gets you labeled as an incel.

I feel like the way women love is almost narcissistic. They want someone to do sweet things for them, spend money on them, and be there for them emotionally. Support them and do their best to make their dreams happen. But that's it. It's one way. I want to love someone and do all these things for them, but I want to know that they would do it for me too. And I just don't see that anywhere. I see men that open up to their woman and the relationship falls apart because he's no longer the "rock". I…

I feel very similarly to you right now. And I'm basically here trying to convince myself I'm wrong, because it's really hard to stomach that I'm right. I'm going to give a warning to anyone in this thread that is struggling with red pill stuff, DO NOT GO ON TO THESE DEBATE SUBS. Its filled with men and women who are wrapped up in fringe groups, they don't represent society as a whole, and will give a very skewed perception of what the vast majority of people think. Its basically the red pill arguing with Female Dating Strategy. I browsed their for a few weeks and it took a large toll on my mental health. Its seriously unhealthy.

However the media we consume often skips over the courtship stage. Women are usually shown becoming immediately smitten by the beautiful male figure and suddenly falling in love with him after maybe 2 discussions. This male figure is physically fit, has money and seems to be dominantin almost every frame. So men invariably learn that if they talk to a woman a couple of times she should be open to sleep with him when that is usually not the case. See I disagree here. Men aren't the primary demogr…

Why do you think that's a bad thing? You are basically asking me why it would be a problem to be with a girl who doesn't love me, and just wants my money. Women can work and have careers. I'm not looking for someone to babysit, I'm looking for an equal. What you are telling me is that the red pill is right and that women just want your money. I'm not an atm. Are you telling me I should drop the hope that a woman will love me for who I am, and that I should except that my sole role in the relatio…

OK, But none of those things are actually helpful to men, it's just Redpill bullshit. And that's kind of my point. The "blue pill" has no warnings about women at all, generally paints them as better than they are, and as a result men get hurt. And guess who says they have a solution for that? Redpillers.
/r/ExRedPill08/09/22 02:32 AM

I'm kinda in that first mindset but trying to get better. I don't mean to generalize, and I don't think my theory here is the end all be all. Just me soul searching and sharing something that I think might be part of how I ended up here. But it's never the whole story, I have experiences.

blue pill says women are wonderful This is closer to what I'm saying. Its not reality, women can hurt you. And if you didn't expect it, because you weren't properly warned, you overcompensate, and question women as a whole. It's not correct, but humans rarely are.
/r/ExRedPill08/09/22 12:12 AM
2

I guess I choose my words poorly, I do not mean literal guides. I'm talking about general upbringing and education. Men are taught how to be good partners, but not how to avoid bad partners. Men grow up thinking women are incapable of hurting or abusing them, and when it happens, their world collapses around them and the walls go up.
/r/ExRedPill08/09/22 12:07 AM
4

I... sort of agree? I feel like you're taking what I'm saying but assigning more blame. Men are not raised to be careful of women at all, and this can cause problems. Men want hot women then are surprised when they are narcissistic and abusive. I think there are good men who are taken advantage of but most don't see women as people, whether it's as sex objects, or impossibly perfect and then get hurt and wonder why. They also get hurt then claim it was the woman's sole fault, when they also dest…

For what its worth, I'm feeling the same from the other side of the aisle. That women don't really feel love for their partners. I don't know if I can be considered a redpilled man or not, but at the very least, loving a woman for who she is, and being loved for who I am, is all I really want lately. So we are out there. And I'm glad that there are women capable of love out there too, like you.

For what its worth, i dont necessarily want a traditional wife. I have no expectation of a woman keeping the home, not pursuing a career, making me sandwiches and all that jazz. I just want a woman I love to be on the same team. From where I'm standing, I don't see that happening without some heavy asterisks. And when it comes to liberal women, I find they aren't any better. This helped a bit, and there is probably a feedback loop that I'm going through now that I have to try to stop and try to see whats real and what's not. Its going to be difficult. As to women never saying anything like that in real life, I really don't know what to say to that. It's really common for me, but that also might be partly because my job involves a lot of idle conversations with strangers.
