OP I'm going thru a very similar situation right now (bad grades turned into getting kicked out for a year) and some things I might recommend is get yourself a therapist (preferably a Male one). That has significantly helped me reduce some anxiety about life and college. DO NOT go to your BP friends for advice or comfort l learned that the hard way. Another thing is working out. That takes the mind off of a lot and if your angry, take it out on the iron. Plus it's a TRP commandment. Lastly, talk…

So quick question then, I have a mate who is a true red pill guy and also in an LTR and he recently lost his father. During the funeral, burials and days after he wept a lot since his old man was the only person that was there for him during everything (ma was a junkie). What do you guys recommend that I help him cope? He's shown these emotions to his LTR which idk if that's necessarily good or bad but based on this post I'm assuming bad. Any advice really helps since I've known him and his old …

Just wanted to give you an update. Everything was good. Me and my old man talked it out. He understood and gave me some words of wisdom and guidance that I didn't think he'd give me. Overall in a great spot with the pops and I really thank you guys for helping me thru this as well as him.

Another thing with that is I'm 6 hours away from home. I know I shouldn't do this over the phone but the next time I'm coming back is when I'm done with the construction summer gig. What do you recommend me do at that point?

Thank you. I've always wanted to fly since I was a lil lad. Hopefully my old man understands and helps me progress thru this.

Yeah it does. I'm just so fearful of his disappointment and not knowing what to do from there and wasting some of his resources as well as my own.

Also not to be too personal but what major did you find suited you the best? And what was the process you took to find out what made you enjoy that subject?

Thanks that's what I'm currently stuck on. I've always wanted to be a pilot and thought aerospace was for me. Turns out they have no correlation to each other than they have aircraft tha fly. So I'm struggling with that.

I got kicked out the first time and got an appeal accepted. This last spring semester just rocked me like mike Tyson giving you one of his right hooks. So that's why I got kicked for a year.

Quick question what's the difference between the handbook a c the sidebar? I've been told by veteran TRPers to read the sidebar never the handbook
