This is for those that want to make progress. Here's a tip to progress your writing: "That" refers to animals and things. "Who" refers to people. So your sentence would be grammatically correct if it read, "This is for those who want to make progress." For Reddit, it's obviously unimportant. But if you ever write for an audience you want respect from, you need to use proper grammar, otherwise they'll perceive you as less than them and they won't care what you have to say. Good luck.

Fuck the nay sayers. Keep fighting the good fight. One day, someone will wake up to this fact and click a video and go, "Hm, I wonder if that was fake." And then you'll know you've won. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. You can warn a horse of slaughter, but you can't make it think.

Reasonable minds can differ. OP doesn't seem to think everything posted here is gospel. That's fine. He internalized what made sense and adjusted his frame accordingly, and moved the fuck on. Seems like you have to mindlessly regurgitate every little nuance to get validation here. Apparently that's not what he's seeking. Good for him.

All women are different. Not every woman likes her clit exposed and directly stimulated. Some like the hood on, some off. Some prefer only light, gentle tickling. Some prefer pressure so hard you'd think your gonna rub it off her body. Some can only get off with a combo of clit and gspot simulation. Some are gspot only. Some require a vibrator. Some require dirty talk. There are so many combinations I can't cover them all. There is no one size fits all for women's orgasms. I promise. Source: I'v…

This is a great, thoughtful, well grounded post, and it is much needed. It's 100% accurate. However, the best way to sway minds is through emotion, and the best way to stir emotion is through the things you described. Therefore I think both what you describe and sober posts like yours are necessary to TRP. They complement each other.

Swimming is great full body cardio. You just gotta swim faster/harder, as opposed to lazy lap swim. Try to sprint 100 meters in a pool. Your heart will be trying to escape from your chest. Do that with 30 seconds rest in between for a set of ten? Good luck.

The "textbook definition" of feminism or anything else doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is what it manifests itself as. I don't consider myself a psychopathic killer, but according to my body count, I've killed lots of people. But hey, according to that textbook, I have good intentions. I didn't actually mean to hurt anyone. I was just doing what the voices inside my head told me.

"Those aren't muslims, those are muslim EXTREMISTS." Well, where do they get their extreme ideas from? "From the Koran." Oh, so they're muslim. "No, they're EXTREME." So they do what the Koran says? "Yes." So they're muslim. What exactly does feminism espouse? Equality? Then why the FUCK isn't it called egalitarianism?

Harsh? How about useful. I dated this girl. She wanted wood floors put in her house. She hired her male roommate to do it. After he finished, all she did was bitch and moan about what a shitty job he did. I actually thought he did a decent job. I asked her, "Well, why didn't you do it yourself?" Well you said covert contracts are a bad habit. I agree with that, but in the same vein, I was trying to say it's not a bad habit (i.e. "unreasonable") to have expectations from certain people in your life based on your relationship with them. I'm not trying to argue, I'm just trying to flesh out the concept. Girls generally do emotion, yes (AWALT). But like in OP's example, he has the older sister who is thoughtful and whatnot. A big red flag to watch out for is a lack of self-control This is something huge for me, in addition to thinking long-term versus short-term. I should create a whole post fleshing out this theory, but I want to get a little out now. Anytime I see a girl who has excessive or trashy tattoos, too many piercings, drinks too much, does a ton of drugs, is in debt... I immediately think, "Oh, she has no self control." Or, "Hmm, she never considers the long term consequences of her actions." You know wh…

I need to read this book again to refresh. OP does word his post in a way that let's us know he expected something "in return." But I don't think it's unreasonable to expect something from people who hold a certain role in your life, regardless of what you do. (You also have a role.) A father should provide. A mother should comfort. A sibling should bond. A friend should support. If they don't, then they're not fulfilling their role. What should an LTR do? I suppose that's up to your standards, …

I do this in online dating. The question of my job comes up EVERY TIME, so I reply, "Whoa slow down sweetheart, that's at minimum a 4th date question. IF you buy me dinner and blow me in the parking lot." If they come back with something quippy, it's on. I've had girls say stuff like, "Ugh fine, but I am NOT buying you dinner." Ding ding, we have a winner.

I haven't tried it yet, but from reading this thread I bet you could attempt a "beta/provider test" by saying you're a starving artist, or something similar that indicates you don't have much money. Maybe say it jokingly, maybe pretend to be serious. Gauge her reaction.

Whenever the economy takes a downswing, companies that sell makeup and beauty products are the most resilient. Their stock prices stay up when others go down. Why? Because when women can't provide for themselves and lose their jobs, they resort to getting all pretty to find a male provider.

I just had a conversation yesterday with a new girl about how our first date will be an "adventure" by going to the zoo to steal cute animals. We went over all the silly logistics like her creating a distraction by flashing the lonely guard while I sneak away with a baby elephant. She lapped it up. Going out…

Every once in a while you try food you haven't tasted before. You haven't had it before, but you know you like it better than all the other foods you've had in your life. This is called learning new things. Sometimes we learn new things about ourselves. Both men and women.

Women are aroused by these things, in this order: status, strength, being desired. Strength and status are almost interchangeable, but really should go together. Basically, if you're physically strong and socially strong, she wants you to let go of all inhibitions and fuck her stoopid.

Instead of culture, the world offers the boys of The Red Pill contempt. Instead of education, outrage. The only part he's missing is that "boys" subsequently come to The Red Pill with that contempt and outrage, and then leave with culture and education. Because all we do here is explain how the sexual market place works (education), and offer advice about it like lift, get hobbies, make money, be useful (culture).

Case in point: was on a third date with the hottest 28 year old I'd ever met. Thought I hit the fucking jackpot. But I got there early. Chatted up the cashier. Got bored on the date. Commitment for men is the equivalent of pussy for women. The sooner (and/or more frequently) you give it up, the less respect you get. Women are the gate keepers of sex. Men are the gate keepers of commitment. Do you respect a woman who fucks on the first date and has had multiple partners? No. Likewise, women don't respect men who commit immediately and do that every time they meet a girl.

If a hot gf hadn't met my family, but saw that I took some uglier ex to family dinner in the past, she'd flip her shit. Or instead of family dinner, bought jewelry, took on vacation, etc. You get the idea. Too selfish. Can't walk a mile in their partner's shoes.

There are different kinds of intelligence. Men build bridges, erect buildings, and fix problems. Men have practical knowledge that makes the world a better place to live in. Women leech onto those men through their hardwired, unconscious social cunning. Men are rational and practical... until it comes to women. Women are emotional and irrational... until it comes to men, when they're biologically extremely practical. Different kinds of intelligence.

That's why they all laughed when she said it, because they know it's bull shit. "HAHA women are smarter than men! We need a phony get together and a microphone to let the world know!" The key is in your mindset with women, and this is the mindset: You must think of yourself as the prize. You need your foundation to stand on this thought: When you're with a girl, it's not you that's trying to win her, it's her that's trying to win you. You're not asking, "What do I bring to the table?" You're asking, "What does SHE bring to the table? Why should I like her over any other pretty face with a wet slot." And in order to naturally have that mindset, you need an abundance mentality.…

An important question I think is missing is the age bracket of the women you're pursuing, and at what age you are when pursuing them. An 18 year old guy going for a 45 year old woman is going to be a completely different dynamic than a 45 year old guy going for an 18 year old girl. And it matters for every age range in between, for both parties. For example, 30 year old guys going for 30 year old girls, or 20 year olds going for 26 year olds, or 40 year olds going for 50 year olds. Each broad se…

Yuuuuuuup. For every 28 year old hitting the wall and adding on inexplicable standards to her aging vagina, there's a fresh batch of 18 year olds having birthdays every single day, wide eyed and ready to experiment. There are literally 365 reasons multiplied by the number of 17 year olds in your area not to have one-itis.

Do you get mad at the sky when it rains? Do you get mad at a dog when it barks? Do you get mad at politicians for lying? No. It's just the nature of things. It's the way things are. Some things in life seem unfair, but the concept of fairness is a "excuse crutch" for the weak. There are things you can't control, and there are things you can. The strong adapt to the former and take full advantage of the latter.

My "you're an idiot" response came after a comment in which you called somebody obtuse or an idiot. So if we're playing the "who cast the first stone" game, you lose. I don't think sexual success is subjective. If that wasn't obvious, maybe, just maybe, you're an obtuse idiot. Or you lack basic reading comprehension. Yeah the focus isn't on exercise in general, it's on weight training specifically. That's because women defer to strength in a sexual partner, like men defer to big tits and a big ass or a nice face in a woman. Why do women like tall guys? Tall guys are stronger, more domineering than short guys. Women like strength, and tall guys look strong. Lucky for short guys, they can lift weights, get strong, and look the part. Do work (i.e. hard work, manual labor, or intellectually difficult) that shows results so you can enjoy the sense of accomplishment afterword. Especially if you don't enjoy it. This will snowball into you looking forward to doing more work so you can feel that sense of accomplishment again, and again, and again. I'm working on renovating my house without hiring any outside help. When I used to think about what I had to do, I loathed it and felt overwhelmed. But I would pick a small task, and foc…

Women are ruthless. They only look out for themselves. This doesn't just apply to their relationships with men. If you've ever heard the drama between a group of girlfriends, "catty" doesn't begin to describe the spite, vitriol, and vengeance they hurl at each other. It's legitimately scary. A girl friend of mine just had a falling out with a girl who just the other week was one of her best friends. The shit she talks now, all the pent up resentment she held during that "friendship." Holy shit.

Every time I get dumped or rejected by a girl, my first reaction is to get frustrated with her. "WHY DON'T YOU LIKE ME?" I think about all my good qualities and think she's stupid/wrong/foolish for not liking me, for choosing some other loser. But then reality sets in. It's not her fault she doesn't like me, it's my fault. It's me that needs to change. I need to be better. She doesn't need better taste, I need better qualities. It's on me to improve myself. Getting frustrated with a girl for not…

What you think about while making eye contact has a huge impact on how your gaze comes off. I like to think to myself, "Yeah, I know you're gonna go masturbate to me in the bathroom as soon as you get the chance, you dirty little bitch." Doublethink isn't about holding two beliefs simultaneously. It's confusing one for the other. The purpose was to confuse incompatible ideas. To make people think one thing was the other. For example: liberty is tyranny. If you're free, you're restricted by your choices. It's the paradox of choice. Or, if someone forces your way of life, you're free. You can do what you want within those parameters. The analogy to pick up fails because girls don't have a gun to our head. OR DO THEY?! Because if w…

This concept can be expanded outside of tempo, too. Practice changing up pitch and tonality. Practice switching up volume and inflection. There are so many nuances within the spoken language outside the words themselves, and people don't realize this makes up at least half of what is ultimately communicated. You have a point. Getting stuck on a girl you know intimately is different than getting stuck on a girl you just met who you have a few things in common with and thus project all your anticipated happiness on. My suggestion is: if it ended, it ended for a reason. If that reason was your fault, fix it and approach again. If it was her fault, then find someone better.

I think the trick is to say you don't want to do something sexual but in a joking tone, e.g. "I'm definitely not making out with you later" when you see her eat onions. That way she can't call you a perv or creepy, because you said you DON'T want to do it, but you planted the idea in her head, and your tone is joking. Haha.. Well, they spend all their lives swimming around in the wishing well (from my limited knowledge of mermen), watching all these poor shmucks throw their hard earned coins in there. After a while it just gets depressing. There's only so long they can go before snapping.

Yeah basically. But the phrase "anything that'll spark a convo," in my opinion, is like going to a musician and saying, "Write a hit song." Or a comedian and saying, "Write anything people will laugh at." It's a goal. The question is, how do you get there? "How's it going" could spark a convo, but there are probably other, better ways. My short list was an attempt at examples.

Good to know. I'll work on some new material that is similar. How about... "I saw this hobo asking for change the other day. I did (and always do) make friendly conversation with the driver... This shows that I'm a decent guy (#1 question on a girls mind as she's riding in a cab to your place). Girls pay a lot of attention to how you treat people you want nothing from. That sounds like a bad time and place. Every thing has an appropriate time and place. I would assume most of these should be done in private, or where it's not going to affect anybody negatively, or in the situation at hand. One shitty example doesn't invalidate all the research behind the idea.

It's not just poses, it's all physical expression of emotion. For example smiling. I don't have any citations, but in college I remember learning about a study where two groups of people watched the same cartoon. One group watched it with a pencil between their teeth without lips touching, which forced them to smile, and another group watched the cartoon with a pencil between their lips without teeth touching, which forced them to scowl. Then each group rated how they liked the cartoon. The smil…

It might help to get in the mindset of being powerful/victorious in whatever situation you're prepping for. If doctors felt "regular" human emotion for every single one of their patients, they wouldn't make it out of bed in the morning. Yes. Everybody has to desensitize themselves to certain things to become successful in that regard. Phil Ivey, one of the best poker players in the world, says he literally has to not care about money in order to win money. There is a degree of desensitization involved if you want a certain degree of success.

There are states without income tax. How are they able to pay for government services and balance their budgets? This isn't a novel concept. And it's not paying for police and firefighters that is the problem. That wouldn't cost that much if that's all we had to do. It's all the corruption and inefficiencies and wasteful spending of governments that is the problem. For example on the federal level, there's no way our essential services cost $17 trillion. Well that's the problem now -- they get rewarded for that. When people go eat crap food and smoke and don't exercise etc, they go to the hospital more. I don't know the answers to all the questions. Obviously if someone did, health care would be better. I'm just saying, right now it's set up to reward doctors for unhealthy lifestyles of patients. Just like mechanics get rewarded for people who don't maintain their cars properly. But we can't force them to get regular oil changes.

Good questions. I don't know. Days spent out of the hospital? Maybe the doctor gets paid more for having more patients who don't see her as much. Obviously there would be nuances for things you mentioned like societal awareness of healthy habits, but maybe the doctors play a role in that awareness and get compensated for it. I don't pretend to have answers, just pointing out the current incentive structure.

Yeah I don't have a solution off the top of my head. There could be some sort of penalty for that. I don't know. I think I read that this health care approach is used in some asian country. I vaguely think that. Not sure, and no time to look it up now. Me: I'd lean more toward meaningless drivel, but at the same time I was trying to gauge your definition of "rough." Me: Anybody can say, "What do you mean by rough?" Not this exactly, but I dated a girl once who would not let it go that she thought it was abhorrent that black men were allowed to vote before women. I was like, "It doesn't matter which came first. That neither were allowed to vote was fucked up." But she relentlessly argued that it was worse that black men were allowed to vote first. When I tried the whole, "Oh so you think women are better than black men?" approach, I got shouted at.

Good distinction. In game there is no "victim," whereas in cons there are. If you look at porn and/or masturbate, stop both immediately. Don't do "one last time." Stop now until you fuck. Try reading "The Sex God Method" by what's his face. He promotes the idea that women love dominant men (and versatility, and some other shit I don't remember). But basically, after I read that, I had a whole new confidence in bed. Women really do want you to fuck them. And by fuck them, I mean FUCK THEM. That mentality helps me when I feel like I'm not doing well or whatever. I'm like…

So I don't ask for her number because "I need to log off" or something Sorry I forgot to address this. If you're talking online and it seems like you both want to talk more, but neither of you will probably be online at the same time, then yeah, ask for her number. Be like, "Well I don't know when I'll be on again, so let me get your number and we can talk later." Or whatever. "Hey I know you have exams coming up, so let me know when you're done and we can [do whatever you highschool kids do... go to Panera? Play Scrabble?]." Or if you're feeling especially confident, you can say something like, "If you need a break from studying for exams, I'm down to [do that thing high school kids do together]." Be cool, be casual, be practical.

The best way to handle this is with straight up honesty. It's either not going to happen, or it is. So you know by holding it and torturing yourself, you're killing it. You might as well be like, "Hey I know this is gross as old donkey balls, but I have to take a monster shit." She'll either be cool and funny or understand and wait or be grossed out and turned off. Either way, the route you took is a lose/lose. Better to go for a possible win.

Relax. Don't get on facebook obsessively to see if she's on too. Just get on like you usually do, and if she's online too, then start talking to her. If conversation flows, then see if she wants to hang out sometime. If yes, then get her number and go from there. In the mean time, try to meet new girls. It will make you feel less stressed about doing everything so perfectly with her, even if that is your ultimate endgame.

I like to say "that's too bad" with the tone that it's her loss, not mine. You have to believe it though, both for yourself and in order for her to hear the subtlty. That, or say, "You mean I bought all these roofies for nothing?" Or, "Great, you just lost me a bet." Or, "But I reallllllly need someone to make me a sandwich after my afternoon jerk session." Or, "Well NOW who am I supposed to beat when the redskins lose?" All of these are solid displays of dominance an nonchalance.

Here's a widely accepted tip on effective communication: Narrow down your main point into one concise sentence. Use proper grammar. Even if proper, simplify to help clarity. This. Plus this: I think it was Phil Ivey who said something along the lines of, "To be a successful poker player, you have to have a certain disregard for money." In other words, a successful player obviously wins a lot of money, but in order to do that, you can't be afraid to lose some along the way. The parallel to pick-up: you have to have a certain disregard for women. To be successful with women, you'll pick up quite a few. But you can't be afraid to lose some along the way.

Instead of approaching to get her number, approach to get a smile, to get a laugh, to learn something unique about her, to hear her opinion on the latest controversy, to talk for 1, 2, 5, or 15 minutes. To see if she knows any good jokes. To learn her middle name. To find out if she likes her job and what she really wants to do. Anything but a number. Aside from that, we got along, but we don't share the same values, so in the long run it wouldn't work out anyway. Better to end it now than before she got way too invested.

There's not more to dating than physical attraction? I always thought the "HB" scale referred to physical attraction.

Haha yeah you're probably right. But I like to think positive. Wait. Just because they're in the middle doesn't mean they're the most common. Right? Unless it's a bell curve. How do we know it's a bell curve?

Seriously, divide it by 1000 and you're still looking at hot women in the millions or hundreds of thousands. I doubt anyone in the world has personally met one hundred thousand women. Of course, that's just talking about 10s. There are 9s and 8s which add to it by a factor of 10. Abundance is a thing.

Announce that there's not going to be an LTR and see if she still sticks around. As soon as I realized it, that's exactly what I did. I tried to work in a possible FWB, but she didn't want that--she wanted something serious. I tried to see if she wanted to let the "short term dating" thing drag on until one of us found someone better, but she said she'd rather end it now before someone got too invested, which I agreed with. I honestly wish I knew I wasn't ready for an LTR before I got where I am…

I also care about people and what they want. I also have an abundance mentality. HB10 doesn't mean she's the only hot girl in the world. There are roughly 3.5 billion women in the world. Assuming all girls are evenly divided by hotness (that is, there are proportionately as many 1s, 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s, 6s, 7s, 8s, 9s, and 10s in the world), then I'm looking at what, 350 million HB10s? But only 1/10th of them would be in the age range I'm willing to date, approximately. So that means there are ONLY s…

Valid point that brings up the issue of clarification of what "HB10" means... HB10 means on a scale of looks, she's is a "hot babe" that is a "10." In other words, HB10 is judging her solely on her looks. There are factors that go into whether a long term relationship (LTR) is worth pursuing aside from looks. Such as personality, values, sense of humor, honesty, ability to communicate, how judgmental she is, how forgiving she is, etc. None of these are encapsulated in the "HB" scale, as it only …

Why "dump" her? Why are you "not ready" for a long-term relationship? Because I want to date lots of women before I figure out who I want to marry. She wants to find someone to marry regardless of how many men she dates. Better: "I don't want a long-term relationship." Not that you're "not ready" for one. I'm actually not ready for one. I don't have a stable career. I don't know what I want to do with my life. I don't know exactly what I want in a long term relationship. Ergo, I'm not ready. I t…

Not denying the validity of your point--you make a good point--just clarifying. Right... So, not Megan Fox, but for a non-celebrity she's definitely 10, maybe a 9.5. Good enough? There are some butt-ugly celebrities out there, fyi. I actually think some celebrities get their "hotness" due to their high status as a celebrity, much like how some women think Snoop Dog is hot even though he's ugly as fuck. Also, supermodels aren't always hot. They sometimes just have a nice bone structure and are sk…

Actually I didn't figure out I wasn't LTR material until I dated her for a while and started to see red flags. I went in thinking, "Because she's hot, I'm willing to date her for a long time." And then we dated for like 3 months and I started to realize, nope.... don't have it in me yet. But yeah, now that I know, that's going to be one of the first issues on the table. Also, thanks for the props.

Proper grammar helps clarity. To your 20 years later question: no. If you're dating someone long term just because they're hot then you're going to end up in a miserable relationship. There's more to LTRs than looks. I definitely wouldn't choose her over Mila Kunis in a photo line up, but yeah, she was fucking hot. Like walk in the room and heads turn hot.

You're probably ahead of 75% of guys in the world just by virtue of the fact that you're not afraid to approach. So that's great. And like you said, reading about seduction and actually trying it is like reading about swimming and actually trying to swim. The only way you'll get better and learn is through practice. So yeah, just see what doesn't work (trailing people) and don't do that anymore. See what does work (asking for fashion opinions as an opener) and keep doing that. And of course try …

I can't make a decision because I want to be sure it's the best one. This is the problem. How you define "best" is based on what you think other people think. Forget all that. Just define your core values based on your life experience, NOT OTHER PEOPLE'S OPINIONS, and make decisions based off that. Those are the best decisions.

If you try not to give a fuck, you still give a fuck. To really not give a fuck, you have to truly not give a fuck. This is one of the few things where you can't just fake it until you make it. First, you have to love yourself. Like actually love yourself. Second, you have to be firmly self confident. And finally, you have to have a life purpose you truly care about. When you really give a fuck about something you're passionate about, you'll realize you don't need to give a fuck about anything e…

I think you're off about the energy "balance." Instead, I think the contrast nature of the push/pull creates a tension as opposed to a balance, which leads to her being flustered and ramping up attraction. In her mind, it's a constant guessing game of "Is he interested or not?" I mean, from the aggregate of the interaction, everyone involved knows whether there is interest/attraction or not. It's the playful nature and the seemingly contradictory nature of things that gets her all excited. I wou…

I remember this concept being demonstrated in The Game, when Neil Strauss was meeting Juggler at a museum in San Fran. After exchanging "how are you?"s with a girl, Juggler writes: There are two paths to move a conversation. You can either ask questions... or you can make statements... I spent my early twenties trying to get to know girls by asking tons of questions--open-ended questions, smart questions, strange questions, the most heartfelt questions wrapped in beautiful boxes. I thought they …

When I talk about the different experiments I read about as a psych major in undergrad, it always segues nicely into the stuff girls like to talk about: 1) differences between guys and girls, 2) personality types, quirks, etc. 3) why someone in the room is doing what they're doing, 4) blah blah blah. So I always considered my psych major as an "advantage" though I'm sure if I was equally as interested in any other major I happened to take, like you said, it would work just as well. I honestly ca…

Yeah I did a few searches and couldn't find anything that compares men who care for their children with men who don't. I saw one that said men who have children earn 2% more than men who don't have children, but it didn't mention any possible reasons. It makes sense, in my opinion, to say it's because men wait until they are earning enough money to start a family, or take on extra work to support the extra people in the family. Traditionally though, it's the woman who stays home, so the relevant…

It's not forced on women. Women choose to get pregnant, and women choose to take care of their child. I haven't looked into it, but I'm pretty sure the same type of statistic holds true for men who stay home to take care of kids too.
