An interview with a Narcissist Psychopath. Highly recommended if you know you dated or married one!Exactly, I am calling a spade a spade. You just don't like that you've bought into another problematic system. As I have articulated elsewhere, it is not myself I am concerned for. I am concerned for women in abusive situations who end up here for support, only to be name called. FDS has chosen to add derogatory flairs. Most subs don't have flairs at all. They are, like abusive men, making you jump through approval hoops to earn their favour. Enjoy your "superior" cattle-tag, I guess 🤷 | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 20/04/21 12:17 AM
Thoughts on Poly BSI just had to look up the year a series came out. It's called Big Love. It came out in 2006. At the time it caused a Huge stir because it was a taboo subject. It was a drama and, to its credit, it showed how polygamy wasn't really good for any woman involved. The first wife at one point starts being honest that she just wanted him, no other wives, from the beginning but didn't voice it because of their religion. I stopped watching because life got busy. But that was 2006. How have we come from i… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 19/04/21 08:36 PM
So true. She became very, very ill with gastrointestinal issues, needed surgery, and was told to change how she ate for the last couple of years of her life. All she could think of were childhood foods to add to her diet. Because she had never even tried food as an adult. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 19/04/21 08:25 PM
An interview with a Narcissist Psychopath. Highly recommended if you know you dated or married one!Notice how you constantly talk down to me, name-call, and think you're better than me because of a flair? Whose approval are you jumping through hoops for? Not mine, I'm beneath you, apparently. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 19/04/21 08:22 PM
An interview with a Narcissist Psychopath. Highly recommended if you know you dated or married one!I'm doing great with self-improving thanks. I know I need to. I'm enjoying engaging with the women here who don't name call. But if you buy in to name calling? Nah. You're the one with learning to do. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 19/04/21 08:19 PM
Society's promotion of young adult novels/ romance movies created a lovesick generationSame! It was with me my whole life until an abusive relationship ended at 27. I just wanted to feel chosen, special, loved and wanted. I wasn't in my family because boys were prioritised. Constantly. Consistently. Even though I broke free, went low contact and moved hundreds of miles away, it was still my mindset. The abuse gave me a jolt though. He'd picked me all right. After the relationship ended he stalked me, stalked any man I socialised with, and interfered in my life. Suddenly being pick… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 19/04/21 08:16 PM
I see a lot of ladies here feel shame about the way they used to be. But please understand that most of us have been some level of pick me in the past. Some still have remnants of pick me mentality yet to overcome. Please forgive yourself. Keep growing and becoming. What a lovely, empowering post 💜 | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 19/04/21 07:44 PM
Where's the lie?Soooooo guilty of this in the past 🙋 Taking on their emotional and domestic load will never make a man fall in love with you. Become dependent on you? Maybe. But then you're just in a codependant relationship, which is never good. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 19/04/21 07:39 PM
So true.My grandmother was a model, which added another level of disordered thinking. She lived off lettuce and one glass of milk a day, her entire adult life. She would cook other food for relatives but never, ever, eat it. She would often pressure me to do the same, insisting that lettuce and milk provided all the nutrients you need to survive. Lettuce has very little in nutrients to offer. But she couldn't accept it. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 19/04/21 07:27 PM
An interview with a Narcissist Psychopath. Highly recommended if you know you dated or married one!No, name-calling is never acceptable, by a man or a woman. Name calling is always abuse. I'm so sorry that you've been indoctrinated to think otherwise. You've just swapped out abusive men for abusive women. Personally, I'm empowered and on a self improvement journey. My thinking is aligned with being empowered and empowering other women in return. For me, name-calling other women would be me abusing and disrespecting them. I'll never be OK with that. I have no idea why you're ok with it? | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 19/04/21 07:20 PM
Thoughts on Poly BS15 years ago it was mainstream thinking that poly relationships only happened in patriarchal cultures where women are oppressed (i.e. Mormonism and the middle East). I don't know how or why it became acceptable in the mainstream but I wish I could yeet it in to the sun. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 19/04/21 07:14 PM
My break up continuedI'm so sorry you're feeling so hurt over this breakup. Please be gentle with yourself and know that you're still learning and recovering from narcissistic abuse. You can learn the lessons without hating yourself. In fact, you should be proud of yourself for getting out and seeing him for what he is. Firstly, I think you need a new therapist. If she wasn't able to see that you weren't vocalising your needs because you knew he wouldn't listen, then she's not very good. It sounds as though you need… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 19/04/21 06:59 PM
An interview with a Narcissist Psychopath. Highly recommended if you know you dated or married one!No, I think that thinking one phrase can apply to everyone is narcissistic thinking. The parallels are there. Sorry that upsets you, but they are. Yup, I'll admit, name-calling hurts me, and every other woman here. Name calling is abuse. You won't let a man call you names in the bedroom, but you're OK with it here. Why? | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 19/04/21 06:21 PM
| -1 | An interview with a Narcissist Psychopath. Highly recommended if you know you dated or married one!He talks about all dating advice for men, from the more severe, redpill to the lesser PUA, to just general dating advice. Anyone who gathers a following like this is likely a narcissist. The rest are buying in to a herd mentality. In the same way that anyone saying "I don't agree with this for myself" is called a Simp in that culture, I was called a Pickmeisha in this one. I'm for female empowerment, but I'm not for following something blindly. I can enjoy FDS, and use it to make positive change… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 19/04/21 06:02 PM |
| -1 | An interview with a Narcissist Psychopath. Highly recommended if you know you dated or married one!I'm enjoying a lot of the content of FDS, from other women. I'm just not buying in to some of it, and I'm not into being called names. Which is abusive behavior. He does also talk specifically about the male version of groups like FDS being run by narcissists. And it being very "my way or the highway". I can't help but make the parallel. Female narcissists do exist. Anything worth having holds up to critical analysis. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 19/04/21 05:50 PM |
| -3 | An interview with a Narcissist Psychopath. Highly recommended if you know you dated or married one!I loved this! He confirmed a lot of my thoughts about my parents narcissist behaviors. It also made me wonder about those who made FDS, with very strict rules which must never, ever be deviated from, or you'll be called names (pickmeisha) etc. And the herd mentality that "you must obey the rules, even if they'll make your life a living hell!!" Now, a rational person would know that one rule cannot possibly fit all. It's a stupid idea to make one rule try to fit all unless you're a narcissist who… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 19/04/21 05:41 PM |

Why BDSM is the worst idea, personal experienceThe worst part is, it's as though everyone is pretending. The last relationship I was in, we talked a lot about what we did and didn't like before having sex after 4 months. I told him that I wasn't in to pain during sex, nothing turned me on about it at all. He sighed, totally relieved, and said "thank god I don't have to pretend that I'm in to choking women anymore". Basically his last two exes had been all over the BDSM thing and they thought he was "too gentle" and "lacklustre". And I was th… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 19/04/21 11:21 AM

Ended up going to prison for stabbing her daughters boyfriend, who was physically abusing her daughter. | 4 | Weekly FDS Chat/ Check-InIt wasn't tough love. It was completely disregarding that I'd already done what they were telling me to do (go no contact) repeatedly, and arguing with me when I reiterated that I'd already done it. It felt like being gaslit. Thank you for your kind words. I wish you all the best. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 13/04/21 11:13 AM |
Set some boundaries and 💥BOOM💥 His head exploded.I still don't really see the difference to be honest. Muting a contact is just blocking without the other person knowing that I've blocked them. He could be calling me right now as I type this on my phone and I'd have no clue that he was calling. I mean, nothing is stopping any man just showing up after you've blocked and deleted them. Once you've let a man know where you live that's always a possibility. | 3 | Set some boundaries and 💥BOOM💥 His head exploded.Thank you 💜 boundaries aren't easy, but they're so very worth it. I think we do have different experiences. I don't use IG, only FB. But I don't even have the app for it on my phone. So, by muting him, we're still in each others friends lists, and he can still see what I post there. My settings are such that I can't be tagged by other people in photos and posts. I barely ever post on there though. I have fb messenger, I've set to "ignore" him on there, so that any messages go in to spam. To him … | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 13/04/21 06:04 AM
| -3 | Set some boundaries and 💥BOOM💥 His head exploded.I have already gone no contact. I've told him that I won't be part of his life while he's in active addiction. I've muted him everywhere, so he can't get hold of me and disrupt my days. I find blocking and deleting a bit childish in the context of lifelong friendship (though if he were just some dude I'd been on a few dates with I would, and have, just straight up blocked). Muting him seems more applicable here, and does the same job. I totally agree on managing our own health. I'm disabled with… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 12/04/21 10:52 PM |
Set some boundaries and 💥BOOM💥 His head exploded. That's exactly what I've told him. That I'm not going to be around him, or put up with his behaviour while he's in active addiction, but when he returns to sobriety he will have my friendship and support. It's not pleasant to be around him like this, it would only bring me down. Today, I was firm on my boundaries and feeling confident, it didn't impact me. But several days like this? It absolutely would drag me down. So I've muted him everywhere and I won't respond until he's sober. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 12/04/21 10:33 PM
| -7 | Set some boundaries and 💥BOOM💥 His head exploded. Please re-read my post. He had quit, for years, put in all the work and built a good life. Until that life got taken away by the pandemic. I've known him since I was 3 years old, so my knowledge of who he is as a person is sound. On the other hand, I'm not willing to put up with nonsense texts or seeing him or talking to him while he's in active addiction, even as a friend. I've told him as much. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 12/04/21 10:14 PM |
| -13 | Set some boundaries and 💥BOOM💥 His head exploded.I'm not trying to do it for him at all. I've told him not to get in touch unless he's seeking sobriety. | 108 | Another control freak father trying to control his ex with their child... And the law.In one of the replies he says he can't afford a lawyer. So basically he was there hoping they'd say "OMG! | 1 | Any other disabled women here?It wasn't the doctors fault to be fair. The NHS only tests your TSH when looking at your thyroid. But my pituitary gland wasn't working properly, so it wasn't producing the right amount of TSH. I've never felt comfortable being dependent in my relationships so I don't like to ask BFs to help with anything, aside from making the odd cup of tea. Being independent has always been important to me. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 09/04/21 01:54 PM |
Any other disabled women here?I love your way of looking at your immune system. I too have an autoimmune disease. I'll work on forgiving my immune system. I'm having to reroute my career, and I'm still retraining, but I'll get there. Outsourcing is a good way to look at it. I've got a cleaner coming once a week to help keep on top of the heavier duty cleaning. What else do you outsource? | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 09/04/21 11:17 AM
Any other disabled women here? That's awesome! I'm glad you've found someone to help. PCOS is an issue for me too. Would you mind sharing what's working for you? | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 09/04/21 11:00 AM
Any other disabled women here?I'm so pleased to hear that you're thriving!! I too have had to switch careers because of illness. I'm retraining right now but I'll be earning OK when I qualify. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 09/04/21 10:58 AM
Any other disabled women here?I'm sorry to hear about your health struggles. I have an autoimmune disease too (Lupus). It's great that you're taking such good care of yourself. 100% agree about the extra vetting!! I've found some men who want to be the saviour/martyr have tried to rob me of my independence. Nope. Nah. No way! | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 09/04/21 10:55 AM
Any other disabled women here? It's great to hear that you're managing so well with saying no! And yes, prioritising is absolutely key! | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 09/04/21 10:52 AM
Any other disabled women here?Absolutely. Acceptance is key. Although two of my conditions I've had for life, I didn't know about them until they worsened dramatically in my late 20s. I was a mental health nurse and I loved it. But I'll never be able to do that job again. It's a very tough pill to swallow. But I've found another career in mental health which I'm pursuing and I'll be happy in. I do hope you're able to dance and hike at some point ❤️ | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 09/04/21 10:50 AM
Any other disabled women here?I'm a mum. Quite honestly, things were BAD when I was first diagnosed. I was nearly in a coma and was left with brain damage from severe hypothyroidism, which had taken 2 years to diagnose. I had to relearn to walk and hold a fork and stuff like that. My daughter was what kept me resilient through it. I never gave up because I wanted to be a good mum. So, yes, it's hard, but I'm in a much better place because I had something to fight for. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 09/04/21 10:46 AM
Any other disabled women here?I'm sorry that you don't feel safe to enter a relationship because of your disability. I'm in the UK and there is government assistance, called PIP, which is not income based, therefore having a partner will never affect it. You can even work full time and you still get PIP because it's to cover the extra expenses of being disabled. The other benefits are incone based and are affected by your partners income. Thank you for the article! I'll give it a read when I can sit down with a cuppa to do s… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 09/04/21 10:33 AM
Any other disabled women here?Thank you! I'm sorry to hear about your health problems. It sounds as though we're in a similar position. I'm fiercely independent so I've always done my utmost to maximise my health and manage my conditions. But they're still there. There's no avoiding them entirely. I'll likely always be a bit overweight, but I exercise almost every day, eat healthily, make sure I'm presentable etc. I think you're right, we can only do our best and let the chips fall where they may. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 09/04/21 04:57 AM
The famous "slug post" from the FDS podcast episode 5. Man makes girlfriend sick by grinding up slugs in her shakes. "aM i OvErReAcTiNg?”As a woman with health issues, I don't think he was trying to kill her. I think he was trying to make her more dependent on him. Since I became disabled, I've attracted a few like that. Despite my health, I'm incredibly independent. So I didn't take well to the guys who would insist I could do nothing and they HAD to do everything for me. FFS, I have a child to raise! I can't just sit down and be your pretty little invalid all day! With both guys I think it was a mixture of a saviour complex and… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 09/04/21 03:43 AM
A great example of how libfem pickmes are dangerous to women. FGM = Female Genital Mutilation. You know what boggles my mind completely? FGM is becoming more and more accepted as a cultural thing that is distasteful, but happens. But the second you bring up castrating a male paedophile there's an uproar about it. It's not just distasteful, it's immoral. What?! That's just utterly bonkers thinking to me. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 09/04/21 12:38 AM
Do you guys think that sex can be good even if you don’t orgasm?Occasionally, yes. But I'm generally looking for orgasms. Sometimes though my body just won't do it. I know beforehand that it won't, I can feel it. But I still enjoy that it feels pleasurable and nice. Kind of stress relieving. Whether on my own or with a partner. 99.9% of the time orgasms are essential to my enjoyment though. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 08/04/21 12:46 PM
