Yeah it probably also depends on location. My high school was huge (over 2.5k ppl) with a lot of surrounding high schools with over 2k ppl as well. In smaller communities i would assume the numbers would be lower.

apply for other jobs. Show your offers + your efficiency to your boss and ask for a raise. Simply showing your work efficiency alone will get you compliments. Showing that you have other offers (don’t tell them what the pay is at the other jobs) will create urgency needed to get the raise.

My condolences, balding is brutal as fuck. Currently in good university and my grades are high in engineering so hopefully I can get a transplant by a high end surgeon as well by the time my hair goes to shit. I hate to break it to you, but academic success means nothing. You may think that you are more "successful" than this guy because of your grades, but grades don't mean shit. Real success is happiness, which is what he has and you don't.
