Haha the John Wayne line was gold. Affection does belong in a healthy Red Pill relationship. Women crave affection as much as they crave submitting to strong leadership. Push-pull is the foundation of strong game. Push game builds attraction. Pull game sustains it to a point, but can become clingy and needy. Solid game is a balance- you need to be able to run lighthearted jerk game while not seeming autistic, while still running flirting game while not seeming clingy.

I need to focus on delegating these responsibilities out better. I run a business from home, so I also tend to take that mentality into our chores. She doesn't live with me yet (2 weeks to go), so that is partially it. But I tend to see something that needs to be done in our lives and just do it, because I know I can handle it better than her. But I think I want her to grow in some areas more. I am debating having her pay all the bills so she can get a better handle on how much we make and spend…

To improve socially and improve quality of life? Collectively is an odd word. These are individuals we are talking about. Eat clean. Speak up more Be interesting Get a mission and work towards it. DRESS BETTER. Seriously, some dark wash jeans, well fitting button ups and tees and a nice watch and boots go a long way. You can do it for less than $100. Read. A lot. Half the battle in life is knowing, the other half is balls and practice.

In social animals, alpha males are the ones with the highest rank, gaining first choice of food, shelter, mates, etc
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/13 08:44 AM

Denotes two varying sets of behavior... TRP is not really based on wolf behavior at all. But people know what an alpha male means, so its handy in discussing socio-sexual politics. There is no intrinsic metaphor. Alpha particles are rigidly defined, "alpha" men not as much.

Try to get her on a healthy diet, exersize, fish oil, 5-htp, vitamins, etc. and also into therapy.

Yes. OP, Ask her why she likes it to open a conversation. My sister is similar, she was diagnosed Aspergers, but is high functioning, just with weird quirks and awkward social skills. Try to take her out to do something fyn, to set the frame. Then she's out of her defensive comfort zone, and you could talk to her. I know my sis is very hard to talk about that stuff with. Let her know she is valued but also responsible for the sum of her life.

I first started seeing the term White Knight online, and googled it, but didn't really understand. Then I was looking for "dating advice", and I found AlphaGame by Vox. After reading a few articles, I had my world turned around.

Amen and amen. And it doesn't make it less real. If you are feeling nervous to talk to a girl, pretending to use amused mastery will teach you so much, even if you aren't "natural".

It's not like hugging is evil, but I guarantee she is expecting a "friendly hug". I used to do that too. You gotta stay mysterious man. And not automatically supplicate them. They are expecting it. But yeah, upholding a frame consistently can be hard. I catch myself falling into beta supplicating too. Just gotta nip it in the bud.

Don't cater to their whims, or let them set frame. If they start doing this, bring the ball back into your court. Don't try to be Mr. Different, by qualifying how different or good you are, just set the right frame and be confident, and you will project this.

Amen. OP, The Red Pill is not a pill, it's a bitter daily pill. It will literally change how you view the world, because it forces you to own up for the sum and substance of your own life. I personally would avoid PUA material. It's good to know how to flirt/banter with girls, actually very important, but that won't show you the underlying socio-sexual dynamics. Red Pill is actually pretty multifaceted. Go to Vivalamanosphere.com and start reading. Read, chew the meat, spit out the bones, and re…

Her Frame: Talking about other men, random thoughts about emotions, getting you to qualify yourself, getting you to buy her stuff always, etc. Your frame: Walking in for a date with confidence, not automatically going in for a platonic hug, maintaining heavy eye contact, When she starts talking about something that A) bores you or B) belittles you (fitness test), you change the subject, You are making her qualify, keeping an air of light, assertive, not taking her 100% serious in the whole inter…

Every single interaction you have, you can either set frame, or be in another person's frame. It's setting the dynamic of interactions. Even when alone, you set frame by how you interact with yourself and spend time. Google frame control, red pill frame. Hugely important

Gotta be smart. After taking RP, I noticed how many females were only looking for validation or beta-orbiting from me, so I stopped giving that. I do maintain some deep friendships with a few girls, but I don't let them use me as an emotional tampon, and they do still shit test sometimes. One girl I trust immensely, and have been through a lot with. But mainly I keep my friendships with chicks at the social/not too deep level. Hmm...There's something to be said for cutting off contact. And in some cases it is necessary. But it's not a hard and fast rule. I dumped my GF in September, and we are still friends. I had to play my cards right though, to show that I was not interested anymore. Women didn't always act on hypergamy to this extent though. Back before society became so mechanized and industrialized, it was even more brutal. If you cheated, you'd have nowhere else to go. If women didn't keep their selves in check, they could find themselves in the middle of a blizzard in the middle of winter, with nothing. Or kicked out, with NO skills to support themselves. Of course, there was cheating, but it was of a much different scope. Also, the church did a better job of making fem…

Maybe I am the only person who feels this way because I don't believe in sex outside a serious relationship and I see dating as a way to meet a potential husband not as something you only do because it's fun. Me also. Well with women. I'll buy coffee and what not during the first few dates. Not because I'm a beta slave, but because I have an abundance mentality, and I want to show that. Can't tell whether joking.... o_O OP, you have a good thing going with the martial arts. Don't be quiet, but don't talk a ton. Sometimes choosing your words carefully is good. In every interaction with woman, you should say 2 things for every 3 she says.
/r/askTRP10/10/13 03:07 AM
2

Quiet can be either be done wrong or right. Real men shouldn't chatter incessantly, but you should be able to be outgoing, and speak with confidence. You should be able to set frame on conversations, and contribute a lot, without doing most of the talking. It's an art, like all of Game.

Don't hook up with girls at work. If you leave her feeling bad, the evil hamster may come out to play. I'd ignore this though. I honestly can't see many good situations out of responding to that. I'm just change the subject.
/r/askTRP10/10/13 03:00 AM

Exactly. It's kind of a kick in the ass for the hamster. Sometimes crazy hamster likes to get complacent and entitled. Dread game counteracts that.
/r/TheRedPill07/10/13 06:53 PM
1

Also, in terms of LTR, having the intimidation factor is important to a healthy dynamic. Healthy relationships are built on the female having a high level of respect for the man. So when you run dread game, or push-pull, your Game will be that much better. The trick is balancing intimidating mystery man game with benevolent amused mastery.

Yes sir, this is correct. A female should not shake your frame so much that you disown your good friend to get with her. A high value male is loyal, and uplifts the value of men around him.

I understand what you are saying. To your first point regarding objective truth: Red Pill is more inductive than deductive reasoning. We don't claim that Red Pill is an unyielding set of doctrine. Rather, it evolved naturally out of a group of Western Society who grew disillusioned with relationship dynamics in this culture. We claim that relationships function most healthily under a certain dynamic between the sexes. When men adapt an assertive role of leader, provider, and frame-setter within …

Yeah, I didn't really ask about sexual history until we had been officially dating for a few weeks. And as soon as she told me that I realized what I had gotten into, and dumped her 2 days later. Even if she is a changed person, that is just too much for me.

It's not HPV, it's HSV-ii. I thought about it, and I can forgive her as a Christian for her past, but I can't forget about how seriously riding the carousel has damaged her emotionally/mentally.

I hear you. I think some people do experience conversion as an instant changing of heart, and conviction about their lifestyle, but the effects from the party/drug/cock carousel lifestyle don't just disappear overnight. The emotional baggage, the memories, will resurface. This is the MAIN reason I ended it. Not the STD. Because she (church raised in the suburbs) was in a 3 year relationship with an abusive, controlling, passive-aggressive crackhead guy. Plus a ton of hookups. And I just know tha…

True, true. I have been, and plan to continue to use push-pull with this situation. Logic will get me nowhere, since she'll just hamster about how she can change anything I don't like.
/r/askTRP01/10/13 06:03 PM

Thanks for the response. She said she is actually starting therapy soon. I agree, it's definitely not an overnight thing. I know I can't fix her, and in so many ways she is amazing (humble, submissive, super hot, loves gender roles), but I know that I can find a much better girl without a crapload of baggage. My life is just starting, especially now with the RP tools, and my own business. And there are a lot of better women out there for a RP man.
/r/askTRP01/10/13 06:01 PM
1

I agree. If she is actually gamed and desires a simple/honest traditional marriage, she will be happy. Also, you should have talked about healthy marriage and a family in some depth before you propose. We fetish-ize rings, weddings, and fiances in this culture.
/r/askTRP01/10/13 07:15 AM

Man, this is good stuff, exactly what I needed to hear. I will tailor to my situation accordingly. You hit the nail on the head- I don't want "the hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" wrath. Especially since this is my friend's sister. I just want to maintain a mutual respect, while parting ways. I'm not looking to tear down someone I care about, and I think your approach is both tactful and manly. Thanks.
/r/askTRP01/10/13 06:57 AM
3

Thanks for sharing! I'm not a fan of self-deprecating game, but I actually might tell her that she can do better than what we had. She literally was crushed when I dumped her, and I don't want to mess this girl up anymore than she was. No worries, I am not going to hook up with her whatsoever. That is very far from my mind.
/r/askTRP01/10/13 06:37 AM
8

Yeah. She was insecure, seeking validation, and living in the moment, like 90% of college girls these days sadly. I'm 23 and my SMV is only going up since I started applying RP wisdom. It's just hard because she is super LTR personality material aside from the immense baggage. But I have to just cut the cord and tell her like it is. I refuse to be that blue pill eager-beaver; I know what I am going to do.
/r/askTRP01/10/13 05:54 AM
7

That's basically it. I refuse to be a chump. It's hard because she is so submissive in temperament, hot, and easy to game, and we get along, but I just know that baggage is going to come up down the road, and I want to save us both from a whole world full of troubles. Thus is the bitter Red Pill. I just have to cut it. I respect your advice btw, I've seen a lot of good comments from you. Thanks for sharing RP wisdom.

Good point. I should have said that.
/r/askTRP01/10/13 02:52 AM

I lol'd a bit. She told me 2 weeks in because she respects me. I tried to accept the partners and STD for 2 weeks, but I have read so much about how marriage is impacted by girls having multiple sexual partners. Yes, woman don't like to be rejected, but the way I did it was kind of messed up. I talked with her last Tuesday night about her number of past sexual partners, then she told me that, and I dumped her Thursday without really being clear why.
/r/askTRP01/10/13 02:46 AM
4

Thank you for sharing your views. I only care about the number because I am worried that baggage will come up down the road. I will take that advice. I know I don't "owe" her an answer, but I want to give her one. I think you are right on both counts- that I shouldn't bring up the STD, and I should be honest with her that I am uncomfortable with her partner count. Thanks.

Agreed. If you are mysterious, funny, serious, use masculine body language, look sharp, and set a good frame in every interaction, women will thirst after that. You can drop a neg or two, but you are already asserting your dominant attitude through the frame

First of all, give him encouragement. The judge may turn down her request. Second, we live in the information age. If you get creative, there are many ways to make passive income, or to start your own business.

If you adapt the mentality of putting your mission first, then your SMV is only rising. Even just learning to be assertive, and have amused mastery can up your SMV a lot.

Psychological abuse is not going to be healthy. It will not benefit you in the long run OP, even if it stops her constant shit-testing and boundary pushing for a while. If you really want to help shape her into a woman of value, just practice constant aloof mastery with her. Remember, she looks up to you for the traits she will want in a mate one day. Be a man of integrity and value to her.
/r/askTRP29/09/13 05:07 AM

Micro-managing is the opposite of frame. Actually, females thrive under a good frame. If you set a good frame full of boundaries and expectations, she will not need to constantly Shit Test you, and so will feel free to operate healthily within that frame.
/r/askTRP29/09/13 05:00 AM

I'd start with some Heartiste, Red Pill Room, Alpha is Assumed, and Dalrock. Every interaction with another person involves frame. Frame is your mindset, your dynamic, your expectations, your Tao, your inner Game. It's essentially the dynamic you bring to your social interactions. However you even have a frame when you are by yourself. So the Blue Pill frame is: "I'm going to try to please this girl by complimenting her and pedistalizing her, and being really nice." Go into every situation with …

"Learning Game" is actually just unlearning the emasculated traits that we have been programmed to hold. PUAs and Red Pillers are actually pretty different, though there are some common strategies. Red Pill is about creating a frame for your life, and then having that affect everything, including interactions with girls. PUA is all about creating frame within a given interaction with girls.

Not like it's important to a RP LTR or anything...

He's being sarcastic bro. It's a slang term for a bitchy, nagging, controlling, gossiping woman.

They are the same at the root. Both are built upon the assumption that Man is not entitled to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Right. So we could say the SMV graph only shows the ACTUAL value not the PERCEIVED value.

OP, you may be forgetting just how much the hamster has taken a hold of the college age generation. The cause-and-effect mechanism in the brain of this generation generation is literally being corroded through a steady diet of MTV, fast food, drugs, and YOLO. The average 19-22 year old college girl throws herself on dealers and DJs, instead of on 30+ males with a high SMV, because she doesn't understand the horrible effects of riding the carrousel.

Good job though. Just a simple "No" to set the frame of non-entitlement. It was done out of love and strength. I would try to do the same.

It has impacted my relationship with my whole family. I have an even greater level of respect for my dad now, even though he is not a fully Red Pill man, and has his flaws. This is because I now see the Red Pill qualities in him more clearly, and I am thankful for what he raised me with. I also set frame with my mom and sister more. I do this is in a loving way, but pretty much all females will shit test you, I think. It's not a bad thing once you understand it (as long as it's not constant). Sh…

I completely agree. If Red Pill has only given you some soft Game to seduce women, or has given you pick up lines or whatever, you are still just experiencing the surface of the iceberg. It should effect all interactions you have, even with yourself.

This man has taken the TRUE Red Pill. He understands that The Red Pill is not making excuses, but making choices. Red Pill mentality is being self-directed and self-appointed apart from other men's/women's expectations.

OP here. Thanks ya'll. I think it's just not meant to be. It's difficult, but after talking about our past history, there is just too many variables for me to commit. I am only in a relationship for marriage/a family as the goal, and I don't think she's fully healed from her past. Thanks.

Sounds like you need to practice frame more. Become self-directed, self-appointed.

Great question man! Worrying about what others think is beta. Learning Game is only the intro the Red Pill Journey. The deeper level of Red Pill is learning self-apointment. Some of the greatest artists and musicians have balanced being introspective and deep with being very manly. In fact, learning to see the beauty and depth of life is part of being an integrated man. I listen to both acoustic/ mellow music and metal. I paint and I lift weights. Be the most interesting man you can be. Don't le…

Try reading more than just the PUA blogs and comments. Explore the Manosphere. Yes, there are some women hating, bitter men around. But 90% of TRP has been a harsh, but nourishing truth to me. Once you understand hypergamy, shit tests, and self-appointment, you will not say it's a bunch of extremists.

Ahh... Thank you for this. I've been tempted to move my relationship along quicker, but I am only 2-months into Red Pill, and I need to let it marinate. Red Pill is so harsh but great.

Most of the good red pill info is under the surface of the blogs. I read articles and pull out the meat, and spit out the bones. There's a lot of PUA mentality in the movement, yet there are still some really important and useful things being said. Just read the blogs and experiment/ find concepts that work. Keep a strong frame, and drive, and it will keep it interesting.

I text with my girl, because I enjoy talking to her. But I don't apologize if I text back much later. Sometimes I am unpredictable, other times I just enjoy conversation with her.

I would say that not knowing how to cook at least a LITTLE, is somewhat beta. If we have taken the red pill, and constantly try to improve ourselves, cooking is included. Personally, most of the chefs and sous-chefs, etc I have worked with are alpha. Cooking is alpha. Worrying about what other people think is beta.
