Wow you must be built like a brick house bc over 215 pounds of lean mass on a 6’1 frame is unheard of

I’m sorry, man. It is a mind bender indeed. The cognitive dissonance seems way off the chart, to the point you have to ask yourself, how does she even look herself in the mirror and feel good. Sadly, I hear stories about this a lot, and it’s a curse to be pretty bc you have so much self-perceived power but little substance. Unfortunately, the simps economy is strong. We can blame feminism all we want, but the onus also lies on men too bc how weak we can be with maintaining a frame, and in our ca…

That’s interesting. In Christian redpilled circles it’s recommended to vet hard bc marriage should be seen has a last resort if you are burning with passion. But honestly if your desire to have sex is so strong, and you are looking at her with rose tinted classes, how can you really spot out the red flags in the moment? It would be so hard. What were the red flags you saw? I know I said last question, but honestly you are giving me a chest of golden info that could potentially save me in the fut…

Last questions, were there any red flags you ignored in hindsight when you were dating? If so, was it your desire to be intimate with her too strong for you to overcome the little voice inside your head that may have indicated she was not the right one?

Very interesting analysis. You are kind of confirming what I suspect. I’ve never married, my I belong to a small group of guys who visit this forum, and remind ourselves not to get married bc the probability it lasts is small, and the probability it lasts and you’re happy is smaller. Also I like the bare bones way you laid out the three traumatic events. I’ve never experienced infidelity, which to me seems like the ultimate betrayal, but I had a grandparent lose his wife and he literally was so …

thanks for sharing your story and observations. Curious to know… studies have shown that girls with 0 partners, or maybe just few partners in committed relationships, tend to correlate with stronger marriages and pair-bonding. Has this not been your observation? Also what about girls who come from conservative background and who get married younger? Are you saying that it doesn’t matter bc they usually get bored anyway

From purely a mathematical perspective and doing a cost-benefit analysis, the moment committing your emotions to someone becomes a negative expected value event is the time you go on the first date. What reward are you talking about honestly? There are so many factors today that are against you that I cannot see a positive future for anybody who chooses this path. Unless you go wife searching in third world countries that don’t know what social media is. And it reflects in the statistics. Men ar…

I’m not superstitious and I definitely can’t depend on my own instincts when it comes to deciding what’s right or wrong for me without receiving counseling from older and wiser people. But I echo whatever one says. Trust your gut. Be lucky you saw the signs early. Lookup the light switch effect as it pertains to women and see if it applies to you. Men naturally are inclined to invest in relationships by recognizing the equity they put it in, whether by using resources like time or money, or comm…

If you’re not content being alone, then you should date. What’s common with people who have been in a monogamous relationship for a long time, is to put her interests ahead of yours. It’s a changed ball game, especially in this post social media era. You need to make yourself the center of your world, or if you believe in God, then Him. To reduce your scarcity mindset, you can do a couple things. I’m writing from a Christian perspective, so bear that in mind. You need to fill your schedule to ke…

I know this is probably not gonna be helpful but it will confirm your thoughts about her. She is low quality. The circumstances that you have described about her, including the use of recreational drugs, indicates higher probabilities that she is probably creeping. I know, it sucks. But if she seems really unhappy, ur not gonna change it. Best to plan an exit strategy and gather evidence of cheating to give you the best outcome.

TRP is not your personal diary. You are not saying anything that hasn’t been said before. If you need an outlet to get out your thoughts, try a journal or something.

I get what you’re saying and I know it took you a while to do this write up. That being said, I think it’s safe to assume that most guys in here already know this. So this story isn’t that special and would probably be better if you wrote this in your diary. Bitches ain’t shit. Never depend on a woman for anything. She doesn’t want that pressure and if she feels it, you are probably going to need to use lube that night from how dried up she gonna be. That Is if she wants to fuck anyway.

I hope the guys in here take time to answer. I’m single also, but I have to constantly remind myself to fight that evolutionary instinct to be with someone. This sub is mainly about what to do when you are divorced, but I want to continue hearing more stories of their wives doing 180s and pulling the wool over their eyes. This helps strengthen my resolve to commit to myself and to remember that there are no unicorns, and thus none of them are worth it.

I’m sorry but this story is so formulaic that I think it’s fake. Stuff like this does happen, but something seems off about this story. Like it’s too cliche. And how does a woman find a niche forum like this and care so deeply about her friend? This smells like rage bait.

This is a phenomenon called the lightswitch effect. Typically it can happen when she receives attention from a perceivably higher value man or her earning potential exceeds yours. It’s as hard to deal with bc as men we like to invest in the form of resources like time , money, emotions, and we a disproportionate amount back. The next step is to invest in yourself. Becomes the best version and don’t do drugs or try to drown yourself in the bottle. Go no contact and live your best life by becoming…

Thanks for sharing. I’m young, and unfortunately the later generations of my family who are alive are past that era when we didn’t have feminist propaganda. I never got to see an example of a man who had a true helpmeet like the Bible talks about. I’m not alone in this, but there are guys like me who think we grew up in the wrong point in time. I would have gladly loved to live sacrificially for a girl, provided that I wasn’t in danger of having a lightswitch flip in her mind about how she thoug…

This might not be the crowd of people to say this to bc my vibe is that most be or irreligious or areligious. But reading proverbs 31 and seeing a godly example of a women there is the type of girl I would fall for and see creating a family for. The only problem is that the modern women is so far from that, that’s it’s better not to have hope rather than think it’s possible. I think where we all went wrong is that we worshipped the creature rather than the creator and put the world instead of Go…

I don’t usually like platitudes but comparison is really the thief of joy. That’s why you see more and more people on anti-depressants bc social media makes you compare your life to the others. I agree the goal should be to improve, and you can compare yourself to how you were yesterday. But comparing yourself to the best and putting massive un meetable expectations on yourself is robbing you of your joy. You’re not alone. A lot of guys had to start over and really they go in one of two directions. Towards the bottle or the barbell. Most towards the bottle bc it’s the easiest way to deal with your problematic emotions. But I assure you, once you get a rhythm by building gym habits, and change your nutrition. And you start seeing results. Your confidence will organically grow from there. It will take time though, maybe in a few months if you have no training. Trust me, man. The barbell is a better…

This isn’t really a dating sub. But imo don’t get your hopes up. I worked in restaurants and bars and these bartenders are paid to be nice and cordial. And yes they get a handful of numbers per night. Also I don’t know if this is scientific but a number of people who work as bartenders have a lot of issues in my experience. Your best bet is to start reading a book like rational male. Get awareness about modern dating trends and decide how you want to spend the rest of your life. If you want to g…

I’m largely aware of the inter gender dynamics, yes. I hope my post didn’t come off as a pity story. I wrote with the intention of inspiring men to fight to be in their son’s lives. I wasn’t really looking for advice, but I’m open to hearing anything. I’m also not worried about women, at this point i only care about my freedom. Thanks for the response. The point of this post is to exhort men to keep fighting and making it a point to a masculine guidance in their sons lives, despite any kind of malicious propaganda is spread by the mother. It’s to motivate them to keep going even though it can be exhausting. Yes I’m plenty aware of the resources. Actually divorce is Biblical in the case of adultery. I wouldn’t be too hard on the guy. Without obviously knowing the context it didn’t sound like he was trying to guilt you. It sounded like he was worried about your soul and was trying to make you aware bc brothers in Christ are supposed to exhort you. It was nice of him to say that you can still reach out to him if you need anything. I don’t think any games were played.

This is probably going to be unpopular bc everyone says TRP is amoral. We can debate who is using who and who has the power. But please stay away from sex workers and OF content creators. It’s not worth it and it’s not worth your mental health.

I hear that it’s common for people to put on a facade but I’m curious how and night and day different she was before and after marriage. We’re there really no red flags? Did she have a job, a career, goals, was she in school? What kind of topics did u discuss or was it just mainly a physical relationship? I’m single but if you answer these questions it can help vet.

Thanks for your response and laying out your reasons. I’m sure it took time and appreciate the effort. I’m new to this and also I am not very intelligent when it comes to figuring things out. That being said, I get a lot of pharisaical vibes from this place and I’m gonna try another sub that doesn’t have as high expectations for their posters in a pretty much empty subreddit.

Lol you’re ridiculous. To say that one of Gods creations is a waste of time and air. Can you really not see how bad your attitude or is the unresolved bitterness in your soul such a dark cloud over your clarity that you can’t see it? And who said anything about balls? Btw I know it’s the internet but you should say stuff that you would say in real person. And you would never say that to me IRL. I forgive you, man, but you need to have an honest evaluation of yourself. Good luck

I think you need to take a step back brother. And realize that yours excuse for not being nice, welcoming, or gentle is bc of your rationalizing of the translation of the word “nice”. And now in an un provoked manner you said my head is in the toilet. No wonder why people don’t like Christians. Isn’t there a way to vet for these red flags? Or is human nature so capable of cunning and duplicity that you can be totally blindsided until the point that she doesn’t care anymore to maintain her facade? FYI, i ask this from the perspective of someone who is not married and has never had an LTR

Interesting reply, i can see you are hurt. As i would be if someone falsely advertised themselves to me only to try and manipulate me later on. I see this behavior a lot and it honestly makes me not want to talk to any girls bc of the mind games that constantly get played. What’s worse is that if you trust this person and she’s being manipulative, who can you trust when she’s supposed to be there for you? In my estimation it’s not worth it. Was it for sex or for intimacy? People get lonely and jump into things just to feel physical touch and be around somebody for companionship. Honestly as bad as it sounds, I would rather turn to porn than to jump into a marriage for sex. It’s cheaper and doesn’t have as many devastating consequences. Ideally it wouldn’t come to that but it feels like he might have been missing emotional and physical intimacy.

Wow that’s plain as day. This might sound silly but it seems based on those verses there’s a very small percentage of people who will be united with Jesus someday it seems to be. That’s sad.

Tbh w/ you, from my naive Christian perspective, it seems like that would be one of the main sins you wouldn’t want to commit if you’re serious about your faith. Abstaining from sexual immorality is talked about a lot in the Bible, but it surprises me the cognitive dissonance displayed by believers when it comes to this sin. I’m not trying to sound judgmental bc i know we all fall short of the glory of God, whether it be purity issues, anger issues, slothfulness, gossiping. But I’m just confused…

Hi, I’m not going through divorce. Neither am i married nor have ever been in an LTR. I’m checking out this forum bc I’m trying to convince myself that it’s better to remain single and wait for the perfect one (if it exists), or risk being with somebody and wishing i were single. Yes that’s a good Bible verse. The Bible is good for these gems. A verse i kept thinking about while reading his story was Genesis 3:16 when Adam and Eve are found out by God about eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. God was talking about how eve was being punished and talked about how her childbearing pain will increase and that her “desire will be for your husband” which has been interpreted as contrary to your husband or for your husband’s position bc God had made Adam to rule…

Thanks for taking time to respond. It’s interesting that you being more assertive and showing your boundaries raised her resentment for you. I’ve heard of stories in the past where guys have undergone attitude adjustments and have had different results. I’m not married and have never been in an LTR but can you explain the psychology of being ok with your wife already having a bf? If I was in a situation I would feel like my ego took a hit and I would feel hurt. Is that not the case when you have a divorced mindset? Is it really a relief so much so that you remove any thoughts offf of her in your mind and all the good memories you had in the past?
