That painful stabbing is THE reason I am done with dating. It is reality shifting and turned me from a confident man into timid boy again. I have no problem getting into some bs road rage and staring down 4 men in the middle of the highway in a confrontation of ego, but fuck me if someone of the opposite sex whom I love hurts my trust…it’s debilitating. And what’s even more odd, it doesn’t seem to work the other way around. I only know men who suffer from this, and I talk to a fuckton of women a…

Yes, definitely agree with you. Thanks for the hard truths. I’m going to study your initial comment. I may be back for more questions if you don’t mind. I sincerely appreciate the time you took to carefully illustrate the feedback for me. It’s very insightful.

Wow. This is incredible feedback. Thank you so much. What is your specific background to have this degree of insight, if you don’t mind me asking?

Ty, this is perfect. Hope you’re doing well now.

It’s the fact that she so easily “forgot” about her family in the first place that concerns me. Girls night out is fine IMO. Irdfc about that part. Yes alcohol was the influence, but Jesus can you not control yourself for a night out? Because if you can’t, then yeah the relationship is in trouble.

Following paragraph reads; “...There's nothing bad about our relationship that could lead me to cheating, we have sex often and there is plenty of intimacy. Even though my husband works a lot, he still makes time for me, and I can't thank him enough for how hard he works to support me and our daughter. I don't know how I even took a single step in the direction of the stranger's car. I would never cheat on my husband but it terrifies me that I came close to it."

Break it down to the simplest factors. All you’re feeling are chemicals in your brain. They will flush out in time and you will go back to enjoying your own company without female validation. Yes it feels good to think of all the good times, but think about how much shit you had to endure amongst those good memories... that’s not what life is meant to be.

dating at 30 is a DUMPSTER FIRE Care to elaborate? I'm turning 27 soon...

Funny how if she wants to marry you so bad YOU have to propose to her...always hated that and used it as a clear sign of entitlement.

Already been through that.

It wasn’t spoken in teasing manner. We’ve discussed my water bottle plenty of times before in private. You could tell it legit bothered her. Besides, a whole day of petty nagging? No thanks. These are signs of her own insecurity and her chipping away at my self esteem to make herself feel better. This is a shit human being who does not know how to empower her boyfriend.

Can confirm. My ex of the past 2 months was exactly like this. One minute completely submissive with me, the next she’s belittling me in front of her friends. She also hit me twice in the face when drunk.

We over analyze every minute detail that it becomes unbearable. I want to so badly accept them for what they are, but my logic knows it’s going to screw me over in the end.

I appreciate that. It's comforting to hear.

Can’t be patient when I’m constantly anxious about their commitment because they’re constantly showing red flags. The last time I was patient I got screwed over.

Care to pass on some of the most common red flags?

I wore them when we were hanging out drinking. I wore jeans to the dinner. She liked that outfit actually.

I never intended to be serious but slowly grew feelings for her and believed she was different, but man these signs were truly a blessing in disguise.

Yes I agree. Definitely realized that when she was here freaking out.

She balled her eyes out but never really questioned how it made me feel, mainly just kept saying “I’m sorry”. She wasn’t very deep.

I’ve spent the last 2 weeks trying to convince myself to accept her for what she was, but it literally took a full days worth of constant red flags to realize this wasn’t healthy. I’ve been having anxiety attacks and have lost 15lbs in the past month.

I know a woman who is in this situation. She’s a real cool person but you can just tell she never could get a relationship together.

Didn’t he also say he felt abstinence was BS? On the JRE podcast. Said something like, “just get it out of the way so you’re not thinking about it.” I personally feel like abstinence absolutely helps performance. Basically night and day.

I disagree. This particular example is what got me through my last breakup. It was a method to guarantee I was better off without her because her life just remained the same. I’ve had leaps and bounds since then.

Dude my last relationship ended SO similarly. Different circumstances regarding the specific events, but same deal with the clubbing and partying and running around with no accountability, questionable stories, radio silence (which of course isn’t ok if we do that, cuz we were definitely cheating - no if’s ands or buts).
/r/MGTOW24/07/19 04:27 PM

I’m definitely over her, but the situation still stays with me since I don’t know for sure. What about it makes you think “of course”?

Tbh 2000-2010 wasn’t so hot. I remember everyone was an asshole because they could get away with it. It wasn’t until after 2010 that accountability started showing up. I look back at the 2000’s like it’s an angry kid that can’t learn anything because it’s just too stupid. The last 7 years have been the best of my life. I made it out of the 2000’s by the skin of my teeth, fuck the ones that didn’t.

You know what’s funny is, at the BBQ I attended on July 4th, I was chatting with a few women and one of them actually said, (paraphrasing) “in a relationship, us girls view a man as a project, we want to mold him as we want him to be.” And she didn’t say it maniacally, but it was like that was the only mode they could think in.

I’d like to know what specifically was changed on her part. I find this particular aspect of the entire gender difference the most fascinating. It’s true psychology.

Gotta be honest, yes this is true but this is shit that girls send to each other...yeah you come out stronger cuz you’ve dealt with some horrid emotions but fuck it, you wanna live a life or be a basement dweller? Suck it the fuck up

Once had a girl who I thought was a good friend hmu to drive her to the laundromat, no offer for gas $, and got mad at me when i declined shouting, “IF YOU DONT WANNA DO THE FAVOR THEN JUST BE A MAN AND SAY IT!”

I was burned pretty horribly in my last rela and learned a fuck ton but I guess I do choose to see the good in people and expect the best.

NGL, the world is much less “special” after knowing the things that I do...I don’t feel that same excitement for anything and everything and I’m not even 30. There are of course a few things that I hold dear still, but it pretty much is just “fuck it, make the best of it”.
