Being a manager isn't about swinging dick. It's about supporting your team. I've been a sales manager for a long time now. If your a manager, I'd ask yourself if what your doing is really about supporting your team, or just about doing what you want them to do.

I mean bro, you gotta relax. Being an asshole isn't going to solve your problem, it's going to make the insubordination problem worse. Give yourself sometime to cool off, and sit down and have conversation with him. Give him the benefit of the doubt, tell him what happened. Ask him for his side of the story. Maybe he just didn't hear you, or he forgot. There are others way to look at this.

I agree, it hasn't been my experience that women value money and looks over everything else. Some women do, and it's wise to avoid them. I don't necessarily think that hypergamy is something that is exclusive to women either. It's not like men don't cheat or branch swing. That being said, taking care of yourself and being successful does make you more compatible. And having more options does allow you to pick a partner out if compatability and not desperation.

If the vibe was off, you don't need to force it. If you guys had chemistry it would have felt natural. Maybe go on a 2nd date and see how it goes. You aren't being a pussy. You didn't want to do something so you didn't do it. I felt this way too, but then I actually went on some dates with girls I had chemistry with. It just flowed naturally man. Dates don't need to be stressful.

Yeah, I don't think it will happen. I was pretty specific about her being upfront with me. Im sure she understands now, that if something similar comes up, that she should just be upfront about it. Yeah, that's honestly what I was thinking too. But im not going to check her phone. I either trust her or I don't. If I don't trust her, I should probably just break up with her. Nah, it honestly doesn't bother me. Her ex was a controlling and jealous cuck boy.

I'm pretty confident that she lied because she was afraid of how I'd react. However, she still lied. I'm not actually worried about any sort of cheating or anything. Her ex was a cuck boy who was super controlling and jealous all the time. I just figure that, although she had genuine reasons for lying, that she still chose to be deceitful.

I mean bro you gotta let it go. The only way you're ever going to move on from this, is if you let it go, and stop caring about what she wants or what she regrets. Time heals, and with that wisdom grows. You'll be back to normal soon enough, but dwelling on the past numbs the process. You'll realize that it was the relationship that is making you feel this way. You'll find new relationships and you'll realize that relationships worth having don't make you feel this way, even in the rough patches…

Bro, you don't need to ask people to figure out a body count. Besides, a past doesn't tell you who they are now. Imagine I told you I shit my pants when I was younger, does that mean I still shit my pants now? If you are trying to vet a girl to see if she ain't going to cheat on you, the behaviours you need to look out for are attention/validation seeking behaviours. But, at the end of the day dude, if you are afraid of getting cheated on, you aren't ready for a relationship.

It doesn't really matter does it? What matters right now, is you don't want to get pregnant. The answers to these questions won't make you feel any better. At the end of the day, you'll beleive what you beleive. Everyone will give varying opinions, and you'll decide which ones you want to beleive. Some will say it's true, some will say it's false. Let's say even the majority said it was false, who is to say the majority is right for being the majority? Its normal to feel fear, especially about t…

For me, it's always been about intent. For me, when I go on a date, it's not about making a good impression, it's about figuring out if I have chemistry with the person. That helps me stay present. It's when we worry about the outcome that we feel unconfident.

Surprise surprise, toxic friends stay toxic. You really think any sort of "revenge" is going to teach them any sort of lesson? They don't give a fuck about you, if anything, they will probably laugh it off. You learn to forgive, but don't learn to forget. Realize that their behaviour has more to do with them, then it does with you, and that's why you should take this as lesson to not associate with people who bring you down. I'm doing major in computer science so a job in sales might be hard for me to manage. Well, I've been reading Dale Carnegie's books to improve social skills but haven't gotten any chance to apply them because of lockdown. Just be upfront and honest man. Think about how'd you'd feel getting into a relationship with her too early and then realizing she ain't it. There is little finesse to these things, just tell her how you feel. It sounds like things are moving a little too fast for you right now and you just want to take things slow. You're thinking too much about what to say, and not enough about what the person is saying. Practice active listening, and just asking questions. If you don't know what to say, at the very least, people just want to be heard.

One of the challenges is that these communities have a fairly toxic view of masculinity with regards to confrontation and discourse. Coming in with a soft hand to try and help can be perceived as "weak" or "beta" or whatever and gives them an easy route to disengage. That hasn't been my experience at all. When you approach people with kindness, generosity and respect, people reciprocate.

What really changed my nerves around dating was approaching it differently. I was trying to hard to make an impression, that I wasn't able to think about what kind of impression she was making on me. What changed for me, is understanding that first date is just to feel things out and see if you have chemistry. Just be yourself, and If vibe is right, everything else just feels natural.

Absolutely, having a strong frame is really all it takes. Is every 9/10 gonna fuck you? Absolutely not. But I garuntee you that you'll find women who will appreciate how much of an individual you are, and they will fuck you for who you are, not who you are trying to be.

Correlation does not equal causation. Your plates could have broken for any number of reasons. I doubt they broke because your dog died. In my experience most relationships require alot of vulnerability and trust. That being said, a plate, is not someone that you are vulnerable with, or someone that you trust. They are someone you hook up with occasionally. Where you went wrong here, wasn't that you were being vulnerable. It was that you were being vulnerable with a stranger. I'm not sure why yo…

Plates break, sometimes they stay for awhile. Sometimes they want commitment Sometimes they just want to have fun At the end of the day, being a plate is not a permanent thing. If you want to maintain your independence, don't let the behaviour and the wants of others dictate your actions. If she wants commitment, and you don't want commitment. Then, it's simple. One of you compromises, or you go your separate ways.

It doesn't sound like a situation where he isn't in love with his fiance anymore. It sounds like the realization of a long commitment is facing him, and FOMO is making him question his relationship. But yes, If the relationship degrades to a point of toxicity, then yes, absolutely. But right now, nothing has changed in the relationship. The reasons why he proposed to her, are still present. When that changes, then it's a different situation.

Find new and healthier ways to relieve stress. I think what's going well for you right now, is that you have begun to recognize the pattern in your behaviour. Right now you could say you are in the conscious incompetence realm in adopting a new behaviour. It starts with baby steps. When you want to perfect a golf swing, you start small, for example, just focus on your belt buckle on your swings. For you, when you start binging, just write it down. It's okay when you miss it every now and then. B…

Its different when there is a kid involved. It sounds like his fiance is supportive, loving, and likely a good partner to raise a kid with. Putting a kid through a single parent household, just to bang some 7- 10 outta 10s seems like a recipe for regret, shame and guilt. Maybe take this as a lesson for yourself, don't have a kid until you actually want to. Wear a condom, pull out.

Not shit you think women would like, don't be a simp. Just shit that you are moderately to extremely interested in. You'll catch more fish with a bigger net...work. Make sense?

I feel quite disrespected by the fact that she faded me before i could have sex with her. Grow up, she doesn't owe you anything. Soft next, because she made it clear she doesn't want to be with you in any capacity. You shouldn't make any attempts to contact her.

Sure, I could agree with that. I think the intent behind is that it's desperate men who can't find affection that go into TRP. Which because they aren't used to affection it can be intoxicating, and when that affection comes from a place of desperation, they can't recognize it.

When women get to about the age of 26 or older, they might be concerned that time is running out for them to find a man to be the father of their children, which could encourage them to settle for a man they aren't actually happy with. Its a factor. Not a garuntee. I've been careful not to make blanketed statements about identity groups. Longstory short. Not all women fall into this, some do, and because some do, it should be something to be concerned about when meeting someone new.

Is there evidence that women just automatically start thinking about a family and a “beta male provider” at 26? Seems more like some RP bs. I don't think so, but biological clock is a factor, and I'd imagine to an extent it does influence behaviour. Btw Red pill doesn’t really promote having kids and stuff like that so I’m not really sure if that’s the real reason why they would promote sleeping with younger women if their main goal is to sleep around. Its crazy, but women are individuals, and because they are individuals they vary in their perspectives, preferences and feelings. So yes, it might scare away some. I don't see how an N Count can tell you anything about a person, other than their past. People change, and they grow. I don't care who someone was in the past, I care about who they are now, because that's the person I'm in a relationship with. There are things that I'm not proud of, that if I looked back to, I would cringe. I wouldn't do those same things now. I should be able to afford the same benefit of the doubt to the person I'm planning on dating.

Everyone here just pressed about it lol. No, it's not because of pedo shit. No, it's not because younger women are easier to manipulate. It has to do with the wall, women have a much smaller biological window to bare children than men do. Every year, after 30, the rate in complications in pregnancy go up. Even if this isn't exactly true, most people beleive it, including women. When women get to about the age of 26 or older, they might be concerned that time is running out for them to find a man…

I think at the end of the day, your ultimate goal should be the most genuine version of yourself and to form genuine relationships. I used to struggle with anxiety, and sometimes I still do too. What I've found is that, anxiety is simply just an emotion. Much like anger, or sadness. It is fear, nervousness and uncertainty. Think about a time when you are angry, its much easier to anger someone that is already angry. Much like anger, fear works the same way. When you feel fear, everything feels scary. Just have the mental clarity to realize that when betrayal happens, it isn't personal, and it's your clue to separate that person from your life. Do you think she's crying about something to do with you/the relationship? In that case, definitely push her to tell you so you can deal with it/talk about it. Definitely not. If she was, she hid it well, and rather than fight about it, she just cried and got over it.

Yeah, ok. You're right, her opening up would put a drain on me, regardless of how much I want her to feel comfortable around me. How is it a “shitty” world view to say that not everybody that tries makes it and that most of the people that will try, don’t make it? Because you aren't putting it that simply. Your world view is clearly this: "Not everybody that tries to make it, doesn't make it, therefore I shouldn't try and be who I want to be" That’s just the way the world works lmao You are 18, you think you know how the world works?

Yes, I agree, but there they are, over at TRP. Other people do drugs to cope with their problems. You gonna tell a drug addict that drugs aren't going to help them? Fuck no, you show them there are other ways, and you don't judge them for trying to help themselves the best way they know they can. Its not different with TRP. You don't change someone's mind by telling them everything they beleive is bullshit and they are sheep.

This is why they become an echo chamber. It is not just the (invalid and wrong) explanation of human relationships- IT IS A CULT THAT FEEDS ON YOUNG MEN'S SENSES OF INSECURITY AND LONELINESS. The people who write those books, share those podcasts make a loooot of money, you know? I don't think anyone is intentionally trying to be malevolent. I was on my way to the casino and I had to take a piss. So naturally I did. These two girls were walking by, and I started talking to them, while I was peeing. It was pretty funny. No, I don't think that advances in technology or liberalism have made women more slutty. People have always liked sex. It's crazy, but for along as humans have existed, the orgasm has existed too. That's the point, just do your best man, sounds like your the right man for the job. When the cards fall, you'll be fine. Don't let your worries damage your relationships

The goals are not realistic though... today our goal is $10000. We close in 6 hours and have barely hit $700. My personal goal is $4000 for the day. Can your boss change this? Is your responsibility to decide what goals are realistic or not? Just focus on doing your best. When you aren't hitting your results, you want your boss to think about what you did about it, not what you were unwilling to do because you didn't think they were achievable. I also looked in the system and saw that I am not a…

Tell your friends that its not gonna happen with her, and by doing shit like that they are getting her hopes up. Its not fair to her. That's the way I'd approach it.

And you’re right I do have an ego/bad attitude. I’ve noticed a pattern in a lot of my jobs where my superiors constantly trying to put me in my place and I think that comes from them sensing my ego/attitude. Not really sure how to fix it What is probably more likely, is that you just don't trust authority, and you are perceiving normal behaviour as malevolent. And I’ve been doing a good job of doing the manager responsibilities, which is another reason why my sales have been behind This means yo…

Maybe from you, but in my experience thats not true. Employees who are trusted with more job responsibilities care more about the role they are in, they develop quicker and they feel more important. If a manager just does everything employees just feel stupid. They don't feel challenged and they quit. Surely there are managers who don't know how to delegate because they don't care personally about their teams, those managers lose respect as well. Not because they delegate, but because they don't…

Did you get an offer letter when you got hired? Read that. That being said, its new job, you are in a probationary period, that might be what he is referring too. Piece of advice, don't go to your boss saying you can't carry out your responsibilities, have solutions, not problems. Also, What is the priority here? Manager responsibilities or sales? Are their people in a similar role as you? Ask for help. I can't stress enough how leveraging the experience of your peers is an important key to succ…

You might have to wait for things to open back up again but, literally think of an interest or hobby, and then just goggle______ club around me. I've found skiing clubs, chess clubs, rugby clubs, painting/cooking workshops, toastmasters, focus groups the list goes on. I didn't even realize dodgeball leagues were a thing till someone mentioned it at work. Don't join a club because you think women are going to be in it, what you think doesn't matter cuz chances are you are wrong anyways. Just pick…

I've moved around alot, and this is literally how you meet people and grow your social circle. Its incredibly naive to think that this somehow doesn't apply to women. There are plenty of women with unique and diverse interests who don't have friends who share those interests. I joined a Dodgeball league, there was plenty of hot women, and I slept with 3 of them. And guess what, I had fun playing dodgeball too. How the fuck is that a waste of time?

No, because I don't really care about that anymore. Being attractive doesn't make you happy. You don't want to be seen as a loser anymore, right? Because of that, you feel like you need to behave differently. The implication is that you believe that you are a loser. That by acting and expressing yourself in the way that would most closely resemble who you actually are, people would either continue to see you as a loser, or start seeing you as a loser. The problem isn't what other people think of…

Maybe. That's not the point I was trying to make today. My point was that if you work on yourself and build a solid foundation for your well being, the petty things that plague you right now fade away. You don't worry about being seen as a loser who doesn't get laid. Not because people don't think you are a loser, or because you don't get laid. Just because you don't care anymore. Everyone has insecurities, and those insecurities have a certain depth. By building yourself up, you build yourself …

Yeah, you can ask for their number, but "gimme your number" vs "can I have your number" isn't going to make a difference. I'm not saying don't ask for their number, I'm saying you don't need to. I don't know where your getting 80% of women from anyways, that's not my experience at all.

Intent doesn't matter bro. Behaviour matters. Doesn't sound like her behavior is acceptable to you. It also sounds like she understands how that behaviour makes you feel, and she continues to do it. You can't make her change, so now you are confronted with a choice. Move on, or accept her behaviour. On a personal note, this sounds like a red flag to me. It sounds like she wants to feel wanted, and is looking for validation to feel that way. I wouldn't get caught up to emotionally with this girl.
/r/askTRP06/11/20 10:41 PM

Doesn't matter bro. You don't even need to ask for the number if they into you. Asking vs. Asserting isn't going to make a difference if there is a connection. Don't stress about it too much .

You don't "deal with it" . You learn to accept the fact that your good enough. Its your false belief of yourself that is telling you that you aren't. If you believe you aren't good enough, your going to find evidence to support that claim, thats just how cognitive bias works. People like people who are genuine and true to themselves, and guess what that shit is rare as fuck. Too many people playing fake games with their fake selves. Try not to express your personal philosophies with people you don't know, that shit is for you. Sounds like a front when you say it like that. Did you fuck it up? No? Maybe? Your job is to pursue what you want and be yourself while doing it. Did you fuck that up? Only you will know.

Right now, I can consistently approach women in the day time and carry on a normal conversation with them. It is great that you got to this point, must have been hard work, good for you. Incels are just a manifestations of young men who believe they will never be good enough. They revel within the cognitive bias of their belief. Finding "proof" that they aren't good enough. They don't suck with women, and they don't have too high of expectations. They don't have any expectations, because they don't honestly believe they will ever encounter a woman that wants them. You eliminate the notion that you somehow need to be someone else to be interesting. Sounds like you have issues with being confident. You want to get to a point where when you feel like cold approaching you do it, because you aren't nervous or anxious. You do this by learning to accept that your wants, desires and feelings are valid and you have every right to openly pursue them, regardless of how others feel about it. You are going to parties you don't want to be at, to practice game on women you aren't interested in, to implement your new found knowledge on attracting women. What are you trying to accomplish? As for me being a douche bag I can tell you I treat people very well no matter what they look like. Maybe the …

Why are you trying to pick up girls you have no interest in? That doesn't really make sense to me. It sounds like your lying to yourself here, or you are using women for validation... Whichever way you spin it, it sounds like an insecurity to me. That's okay, everyone has insecurities or has had insecurities before. The point is, it seems like you feel like you've got something to prove. Probably need to take a look at your behaviour at those parties if girls are being bitchy to you. They probab…

As far as the puffy nipples go, its more common than you expect. I have the same problem, and what I found is that it takes time to accept things about yourself that aren't perfect. I felt the same way you did, and I got made fun of for it. Its not fun, and what I found is that at the end of the day, nobody really cares, and if they actually do? Fuck them, why do they care if your nipples are puffy? I know you want solutions, and if you are struggling with it, you can get hemorrhoid cream and pu…

I've lived alone for about 6 years. I recently just moved in with a few roommates. As far as independence and codependency goes, its all about balance. To an extent you have to be able to be an individual, but you also have to maintain and build relationships. Both in their extremes pose serious issues. What I mean by willpower alone wont suffice is that, it largely depends on your mental state. I'll give you a personal example. When I was living alone, for the most part I was able to socialize …

Being dishonest is a code I don’t like to live by. Makes things complicated and you end up not getting what you want in the end.

Don’t assume that her behaviour is because she is so into you. People are more complex than that, and she might have some demons in her closet that you aren’t aware of. All behaviour is taught, and she learned her behaviour at some point for some reason. It’s very likely she had a controlling ex boyfriend and I think it might be important for you to tell her that she doesn’t need to update you on everything, and that you can trust her. She does care about you, don’t get me wrong, there are just …

Is saying I love you a “good thing to do?”. It’s not, it’s neutral, it’s expressing your feelings. She left you because for a few reasons. A. You weren’t actually in-love, and it shows a lack of emotional strength B. She wasn’t in love with you, and the best thing for her to do was leave the situation C. If you were actually in love, it shows insecurity. How can someone fall in love so soon? Someone who is insecure and subject to their infatuation.

Yes, but no motivation is bad or good, only the behaviours that stem from them. Sounds like you found a way to deal with your emotions in a productive way. If you want to keep that up, you’ve got to find more reasons to continue to do these things. Time heals, and you won’t feel as knocked down, and you’ll need to find new ways to get yourself to the gym.

You need to spend some time and figure out the things that interest you and you can build a passion for. Maybe that means staying off school for awhile and pursuing a full time job for a bit. Maybe ask your dad if you can spend a day at work with him and see if that’s something that you could see yourself doing. You aren’t going to know what you like/don’t like without experiencing it.

We are in a time right now where there are much more barriers to living life as we want to. However, needing validation for everything she does is a little bit of a red flag imo. But that’s just me. I wouldn’t want someone asking for my approval on anything, or needing my time all the time. I wouldn’t let her take away the time you would rather spend doing other things. It might help you if you had a convo about boundaries, and let her know you do want to spend time with her, and that it’s takin…

Anything that might reveal she isn’t what she is projecting herself to be. Or, things that might indicate she has qualities that are undesirable to you. Like let’s say I want a girl who knows what she wants, who has goals and is working to be the best version of herself. Yet she just came back from backpacking in Australia for a year. Now this may not prove she doesn’t actually know what she wants, but it’s a red flag that she doesn’t.

How much does she know about your relationship with your mother? Do you have a problem with supporting your mother? Not a loaded question, I totally understand why you might have a problem with this, and it may not be a greedy thing. What have you told her about your feelings about giving your mother money?

People who want to fight, fight because they got something to prove, or because they can’t handle their emotions. Either way, it’s not about you. So, don’t let it bother you, if someone attacks you, that’s the time to fight back, but you should try and deescalate as much as you can. You can get seriously injured in a fight, and it ain’t worth it. Only if you have to.

Quit acting like you get pussy, I don’t care if you actually do, shit is cringey. Look man, let’s say you had a friend who became a millionaire, and for whatever reason he stopped being your friend. What’s going to happen to all of your other friends? I know it’s hard to believe some times, but most people find connection with the content of their character.

Based on the questions you are asking, it just sounds like your upset that people are going out when you aren’t. Can you honestly say you are really trying to understand? They probably just don’t think it’s all that important, and aren’t as alarmed as you are over the pandemic. It’s not about putting their sexual urges above others. So, relax. Worry about your self.

I understand what that feels like, and it’s not fun. There are a couple things to keep in mind. 1.) You aren’t your brothers, you aren’t anyone else for that matter. There is nothing that can change that. If you must compare your self as a measure of your growth as an individual, use yourself. 2.) Everything is a matter of perspective. The differences that your brothers have are subjective. What you are feeling is the insecurity of feeling like your brothers are better than you. This makes you s…

Don’t worry about how cool a hobby is, doesn’t matter. Figure out what interests you by trying new things. Doesn’t matter what. It’s people that make hobbies interesting, DND wasn’t cool until stranger things. You aren’t going to put the appropriate time and care in to something unless you are passionate about it.

Let’s forget her for a moment. What qualities would you be looking for in a person? Try to avoid things like sex or attractive. Think characteristics, interests.

At the end of the day, everyone thinks they are the good guy. When someone does something you don’t understand, know that in their mind they are being a good person. Try and understand what someone would have to go through to believe that their actions make them a good person.

Not everyone has the same motivations and insecurities as you. Not a shot, everyone is insecure about something. She might just feel bad, and this is her only way to feel better about ghosting you, by publicly denouncing it. There is no correct answer here. The reason you feel proud about being a bad boy, is because deep down, you don’t think you actually are. So, you need to prove it to yourself and others.

I think it’s important to be realistic with what her moving away is going to do to the relationship. When she’s gone, the sex is going to be a complete non factor. It’s also difficult to maintain a sense of friendship over a distance. I’d suggest you to keep having fun, and letting a connection form naturally. When it comes time for her to leave, let her know that you enjoy her company and want to stay in touch, but don’t expect anything to come out of it. And if she does want to keep in touch, …

You want sex so bad that you are going to break down? You’ve got issues that stretch far beyond the scope of TRP. Get some help, some Uni’s have resources where you can talk to a therapist. It’s important that you try this, no amount of pussy is going to resolve anything.

Ive got oneitis, am I retarded? No, you are human. Infatuation is fun, exciting and seductive. Happens to the best of us. It shouldn’t be rejected, but it should be recognized for what it is. Girl came over, saddled up and rode me like a horse, said lets go get breakfast, we walked up to the wawa screen and she said what do you want and then paid for it. Went back to my place, ate, and then she sucked me off and left. Most different experience ive ever had, and shes super attractive. We been han…
