Recently I've learned about the word 'coquette' which defines the following:

Effort to attract admiration, notice, or love, from vanity or for amusement; affectation of amorous tenderness; trifling in love.

It was like a lightbulb turned on in my head as I've dealt with women exactly like this before and it's extremely annoying. The insincerity and gamey nature of this behavior turns me right off and if I'm being honest frustrates me.

How can one recognize and avoid this behavior in woman as soon as possible? Thinking back I've been duped many times by such behavior.
