Social responsibilities. Making sure that both his and your family members get holiday and birthday cards. Making and keeping track of appointments, for health, for leisure.

This is so perfect thank you! It really applies to some things that are going on in my professional life right now

The story annoyed me, at the time. I didn't get why one of the main characters would want to be married to a "girly girl" who didn't even enjoy hiking, even though it specifically said he enjoyed coming home to her and the comforts of home she provided after a camping trip. I didn't like how the women were automatically relegated to "softer" post apocalyptic tasks (though obviously it's still rough going!). Aren't we just as strong as men? Why are women making sandwiches while men use a limited …

"Fuck, the alarm is going off already?" I really need to get better at going to bed earlier, even if it means sleeping before my SO gets to bed :(

:D I read it as a feminist, and am re reading it now. Needless to say, I have a newfound appreciation for it!

Sounds like you need some couple friends to hang out with. Preferably a man in a similar industry as your husband, and a wife with similar interests as you. Unprotentious (ie, not "let me spend 3 hours cooking and half the day cleaning because we are having guests!") dinners really can be a godsent. Your husband will have someone to talk shop with (assuming his work isn't classified!). You will have someone to joke around and relax with. You can still participate in your husband's work talk, but…

Oh, that will be interesting! The shit show of the DNC is entertaining as hell. This "how to give a speech at the DNC" list is spot-on.

Those pins offend me! As a person who has used a button maker to make buttons for a fundraiser, and who quickly mastered the art of lining up the circle punch to cut out the paper part, I would expect better from a makeup brand. That first one is horribly off center. The rest aren't much better. Have they no pride?

Helpful! I think that when I get called about the interview results, I'll make a note of any complimentary statements he makes (on top of thanking him for the favorable assessment of my skills). Then, when it comes to brass tacks, I can throw back, in a friendly manner, "I was hoping for something in the range of X and Y, hopefully we can come to some arrangement. I'm really excited about Z aspect of the company, and I'm reall pleased that you think K would make me a valuable employee."

Haha yeah, lots of domestic goddesses here who haven't had to deal with corporate BS in ages, but with today's world/economy there's probably a number of career gals here with suggestions. The more I'm paid, the more I can save, and the sooner I can focus my efforts on what's really important :)

I like it! Wish I'd been a bit more complimentary during the interviews, hopefully I can fix that when I hopefully get a call back!

Sorry it's out of scope, thanks for the exemption! I just know that if I asked on /r/AskWomen or something I would get advice like, "wear a big hat to look intimidating, pick a salary you want and angrily state that you refuse to be disrespected by anything lower". Hopefully any answers advice I get can help other women as well! I haven't been continuing much recently, your kindness makes me want to get back into the swing of things :)

I'd like to add a few more scenarios where I think it would be acceptable. Your husband or serious LTR is serious about opsec, and you know your data is completely secure with them. You might trust your non-tech-savvy partner with your photos, but what if his phone gets stolen? You have an "unremarkable" face (no distinguishing scars, tattoos, glasses, etc). For example, if you are an Asian woman living in America, and photos make it onto the Internet, well, people are bad at distinguishing face…

I met a girl that I sort of like. She has an n-count of less than 5 (so it seems, she could be lying. But her pussy is DEF tight) That is not how vaginas work. I know it is frowned on for women to post here. But I'll say later rather than sooner. I have never fallen for a guy, if I was aware he did drugs. But I have been annoyed at myself for not becoming unattracted to guys after finding out (months and months after getting a crush on them) they used drugs. Disclaimer: I'm practically straighte…

Look for men in careers that don't involve many women (engineering, most trade work, software), rather than ones that have a higher female presence (teaching, retail, nursing) or are very sought after by your competition (finance, medicine).

I'm open to whatever BC methods he wants, he just hasn't asked for anything else and doesn't mind using pull out. Has he stated he doesn't mind pulling out? You come to reddit complaining that he's too beta, and accept it as fact that he doesn't want you on birth control because he hasn't asked you. Have you considered that he perhaps "respects" your decisions too much to suggest a course of action that's better for both of you? The poor guy doesn't have any friends. He's probably afraid that if…

I actually ended up following this advice this evening. Something was bothering me, and instead of telling my SO what he needed to do to fix things, I explained what I was feeling and what specifically made me feel a bit sad. We had a talk, he addressed my concerns, I understand better, we feel closer, and there's no bottled resentment. 10/10 would do again.

You do realize that the copper iud contains no "pharmaceuticals", right? And that the Mirena releases a practically negligible amount of progesterone, and no estrogen? There's literally no scientific research to not be trusting of birth control. I've had a relative die a horrible, painful, extended death from a perfectly treatable disease because she didn't believe in western medicine. So people like you who promote and encourage such beliefs piss me off. You increase the amount of suffering in …

You know what they call women who rely on the pull out method? Mothers.
/r/RedPillWives07/04/16 09:53 PM

To truly be "all natural" you should have your first pregnancy around 16, and die in childbirth while popping out your 8th kid. Just use some fucking birth control. Is your body so special that it can't handle the most commonly used prescription in the world? No shit your boyfriend doesn't want to initiate sex. You'd rather fill him with the fear of knocking you up and worst case scenario, killing you because you are probably the insane sort to do unassisted home childbirth or some bs like that.…

Yep! It's also why I think Russian men have... less than stellar reputations. Why not become an alcoholic low life, if you are guaranteed a woman who will tolerate your shit? Men learn how to act from their fathers, and the habits persist through the generations. And thus the "Russian brides." Women up their girl game, but the prizes aren't that great. Why not reap the rewards of their hard work abroad? This is probably all horribly racist but I dgaf.

My personal opinion is that it's all down to WWII. Andreev, Darski and Karkova (ADK) put total losses at 26.6 million. The authors did not dispute Krivoshev's report of 8.7 million military dead. Their demographic study estimated the total war dead of 26.6 million included 20.0 million males and 6.6 million females. In mid-1941 the USSR hosted 8.3 million more females; by 1946 this gap had grown to 22.8 million, an increase of 13.5 million. 22.8 million "extra" women, all fighting for the remain…

The thing that amuses me about tattoos is that my friend with the most tattoos/piercings is just turned 30 and is still a virgin. She's a wonderful person, too. But she's also had a pretty traumatic life so :(

This "pills" referenced aren't BC. It's the "female viagra" which (ever so slightly, like super slightly) increases the number of "spontaneous" (rather than "responsive", aka the kind of sexual feelings most common in women) sexual feelings.

Also, a coupon book is extremely low effort. It is right there next to "gift card" on the list of "couldn't be bothered to think about what you might really want" gifts. I agree

Wow, what a loss. If a guy buys index funds rather than flowers, it's sexy. It sounds crazy, but I'm instantly more attracted to guys who choose to live without cars (a viable option in my city). People who think that if you have money, you should spend it... Ugh, crazy!

Greek life is different at every school, I don't know what it was like at yours. I loved my sorority and my sisters. I wasn't encouraged to dress slutty or drink a lot. It was nothing like media portrays it. And there was definitely no pressure about having to date someone Greek!

Have you tried looking on Craigslist for a cheap air conditioner? Also, iced tea 4 lyfe. Is it dry or humid? If it is dry, I once read something about hanging wet sheets in front of open windows or something

Hello. I mostly lurk. What brings me here is the focus on being a good woman for your man, because that doesn't seem to exist many places, from a female perspective.
