Well he's allowed to have his opinion but he should respect you. If it's a deal-breaker for him, he has to be to the point and mature enough to break it off. Being passive aggressive isn't a healthy option in a relationship. Ask him about it when he sobered up and be ready to accept it might be a deal breaker for him.

Confidence: knowing your shit like a pro, no need to play games to show your value. Arrogance: thinking you know just enough to get away with it, often tries to make themselves look better by putting others down.

Gambling is an issue when it's an addiction. In this case, it would only be an issue if something happens and he continues to bid money he has not or his luck runs out and he refuses to do any other job but professional gambling. I'd say go for it. My fiancé and I met long-distance through Facebook and now we're engaged so :p it's not always useless. Giving up on your career is a bit riskier. Before leaving it all to pursue a long distance relationship you need to really know the guy as to not g…

Hypergamy is looking for a better partner when yours is absolutely acceptable, but you still want richer and more handsome and what not. Being smart is when you realize you've made a big big mistake and are considering your options to not ruin your life. There's a difference. Also, don't be so dramatic. Damn.
/r/RedPillWomen21/03/17 09:08 AM

Call me crazy but I wouldn't be able to tolerate the lies + the cyber cheating. They're not pre recorded images, they're women he pays to Skype with and obtains pictures of themselves. I wouldn't qualify it at porn, but rather him hitting up prostitutes. The fact he lies because you'll get angry is irrelevant, as he knows that by doing this he is breaking a boundary. Major break of trust is not redpill. Putting that aside and looking only at the lies, I take it that repeated lying even after he'…

People tend to try to be better and better to keep up with their partner. If a certain standard has been established for years in a relationship, and one of them decide to randomly change and expect the immediate same level of behavior change in their partner... That's not going to cut it. I'm wondering how much value OP portrays to his wife vs the value he tries to portray to us through words. You can be anyone you want and embellish how much you want on the Internet, but real life and actions …

He doesn't want to fuck them yet willingly makes his wife uncomfortable by trying to manipulate her into having sex with him. Making your wife feel threatened to get something from her is not healthy, it will exhaust the marriage and both of them. Sure he can get sex like that, but it won't create a deeper emotional bond. At best she'll kick into defense mode and do everything he wants so he doesn't leave her, then start resenting him.

This 100%!!!!
/r/RedPillWomen19/03/17 10:08 AM

Manipulation is not a success story.

Nickname + arguments = deluded or troll Get your shit together and stop seeking approval, it's unattractive.
/r/RedPillWomen19/03/17 12:30 AM

Again, manipulation, mind tricks and pardon my French, bullshit. Have you tried honesty? Helping her around the house perhaps? Taking her on a nice date focusing solely on her instead of which girl you'd friend next? How has been her self care lately? Does she have time for herself or is she stuck with too many responsibilities for her to handle alone?
/r/RedPillWomen18/03/17 11:21 PM

I feel like you want validation from women that you're doing the right thing. Through your comments on this thread you portray yourself as a mature man who acts like an authority figure aka you benefit from insecure girls with daddy issues. I'm wondering if you're trying to justify your desire of having friendships with women by distording it into game to make your wife crave sex. Most likely there are some issues in the relationship that need to be addressed and you're choosing to play games in…

I agree with willow-girl. I'd also say to go with your friends but don't tell him, so you'll see how genuinely happy he is to see you.
/r/RedPillWomen18/03/17 07:30 PM

I don't think any kind of lie is acceptable, it just shows that there are things to work on in the relationship. It's generally not a deal breaker unless it's about something major and serious, but definitely a red flag for other problems in the relationship.
/r/RedPillWomen18/03/17 05:03 PM

Well I'm glad this worked for you. She probably took you for granted. Luckily I feel most women here view marriage as a status to maintain and don't need to feel dread to actively work in maintaining intimacy. I don't think the solution is maintaining friendship with single people of the other sex. Maybe it works in certain settings such as yours but I think it would make more problems in which the woman is already passionate.

If he wants it, he'll go after it. He should clearly commit to you if he wants to and communicate it on no uncertain terms. Or he's just going through a harder time and withdrew himself to deal with it but I wouldn't really count on that.

I don't know how it works in the USA but for him to get healthy, cure his depression, start a career and being stable enough to get married... I don't know if he can achieve that in 4 years + manage to travel. Are you really going to wait that long to know if he can provide? What will you do when you realize he doesn't and you have to start over at 26?
/r/RedPillWomen11/03/17 04:44 PM

There is a difference between hypergamy and finding a captain. I don't see this as hypergamy but rather dating below your SMV which ends up causing these type of thoughts. How long have you two been in a relationship?

I asked one of my bosses and she said it's good not to show preferencial treatment now because I couldn't do it if I got the promotion. Your idea is adorable. I might try that instead :3

I have no problem talking about my traditionalist views to anyone, even to Feminists. Their opinions on how I live my life don't really matter to me. Unless they're bat shit crazy. Then I don't even talk to them in the first place because no one has time for crazy.

You wouldn't believe it without seeing it. I'm actually surprised what we manage to get away with. We work at a call center of more than 150 people, people often give each other backrubs, eat at their desks and play on facebook. It's reallyyyyyyy chill and people stir up drama pretty easily. They'll start screaming at each other at least weekly. Think high school kind of relationships between people. Sex jokes all the time, at least two or three girls that are like a high-school clique, and definitely a LOOOOT of singing, selfish, etc... Thank you so much, I'll correct my behavior as I don't …

Expectations: your man will always do whatever has to be done. Reality: maybe taking the trash or changing the light bulb in that room no one uses can be done tomorrow, I'm exhausted as hell Expecting everything to be done in the moment it comes up is bad. Expecting nothing less than perfection in every area is bad. No one is perfect and no one will fulfill absolutely ridiculously expectations.
/r/RedPillWomen07/03/17 12:09 PM

Try to make as many tasks as possible automatized. That means getting a dishwasher so you don't have to scrub dishes when sick and he doesn't need to do it if he hates it. Have you considered eventually getting a maid when you get sick? Here in my country there are independent cleaners that come by a couple of hours a week. This could be a solution to keep everything tidy even when you can't do it yourself.

You could wear leggings and a longer top. Comfy but still looks a bit more put together. No oily hair or skin allowed, nails and toenails done right, some perfume, even some mascara and blush. But don't overdo it or it will look out of place.

What about working from home to pay for your stuff and then some? If you're bored at home all day, you have plenty of time to pick up jobs on Upwork or craft pretty stuff to sell on etsy or declutter your stuff and sell it on craiglist/ebay or bake good food to sell to people who don't have the time to cook. The only thing I can advise you is why I use when I fall back into a shame phase. Accept that the past is past, you know better now and that your future is in your own hands. What you did or accepted as facts when you didn't know better are out of your hands now, how you decide to apply your new found knowledge is up to you.

/r/RedPillWomen02/03/17 05:24 PM

Read what I wrote first and the context of my reply before answering. You said to a man plating you, you are still potential relationship material to that particular man. You're not.
/r/RedPillWomen28/02/17 07:41 PM

It's not important to know if he's a good lover unless he passed the vetting in other aspects first. Usually sex will be easy to entertain if you're attracted to him in other ways. Sex is something you learn, so even if he isn't a great lover he'll learn. I don't think it would be on my list of priorities in vetting a partner. Edit to add: this is my opinion and you're free to have other opinions.
/r/RedPillWomen28/02/17 07:36 PM

Once you get plated, you're not viewed as relationship material. You're just a low commitment easy lay. Easy to fuck, not worth the trouble to commit with.
/r/RedPillWomen28/02/17 07:34 PM

But physical intimacy isn't something you hand out like candy. There's a balance between giving yourself to a man who has earned your trust and with whom you want to have a relationship and one that you've only been on a couple of dates with. A plate is basically a fuckbuddy who isn't deemed fit for a relationship but still holds on to the hope of getting something more by having sex.

Did you ever get passed out drunk, even once? Is it possible someone is spreading rumors about you? Is it possible you are a wild party girl? Maybe the touchy is what's wrong here. Like how touchy? Like hug male acquaintances touchy? Alright, stop messaging multiple people on Facebook. Maybe take a break from tinder too. Work on your image first then let them come to you. You strike the as someone who seems to be all over the place, roller coaster like.

Nothing to do here. Why would he commit? He already has a free pass to fuck you and then fuck anyone else he can get in his bed. "he proposed we just continue to be FWB until we found other people" That tells you all you need to know about his level of commitment. If he really likes you, then it's his loss. He should've thought about that before downgrading you to plate. Respect yourself and love yourself and stop allowing yourself to be used because he's having a blast at your expense.

I'd say to be ambitious at work. Your objective at work is to be successful. Success at work is different than success in a relationship. Unless you have a specific co-worker or regular customer you want to have something more with, then you can be feminine with that person.

You scored pretty good with your boyfriend, there will always be one thing or another that doesn't please you but that's when you have to decide if the ups are worth the downs. I don't like how you say he is smart and you're very smart. Maybe that "very" is the extra in this relationship. Da fuq did I just read? I couldn't even go through half of it. Like seriously, if you want to change then leave this man, go into the so called monk mode and treat your issues and then go back to dating with proper vetting. Stop wasting your time, stop wasting your energy, and stop wasting yourself. This is so toxic I can't even understand. If you need to do fucked up things to restore trust in your relationship, just start fresh. Stop damaging yourself emotionally, stop letting yourself be mani…

Just to answer your last sentence. They may capitalize while their young. Then they got old, unattractive and used. Yes they got money for a few 10, 20 years? What about the rest of their lives where they either have to put up with one of those absolute betas, or not have a good stable life because they still expect to get someone way better than they deserve? Also, I don't think men are capitalizing out of marriage. The only reason they do is because it's becoming easier to get pussy, free or p…

Even then, dating someone who is already is any type of commitment just shows she didn't respect herself enough to hold herself to higher standards. Never be the homewrecker. No matter how much she applied other rp advice, this was doomed from the start by both of their attitudes. Hopefully OP learns to vet better and respect other people's relationships.

I don't think sharing a man is considered red pill woman advice. A married man that can openly have sex with other women will never give you commitment because he already has the best of both worlds, and it only benefits him.

Well if you both work, I don't see why you shouldn't pay your half of the dates or pay for whole dates. Not every date of course but it seems normal if you both share the financial weight of dating if you're both independent financially. That doesn't strike me as not leading. Just my two cents :)

I was with you until I read she should let him experiment with others if he wants to. That is not red pill advice at all. They either are in a LTR monogamous relationship or they aren't. Don't advise anyone to become a plate on this sub. It's up to you to change and become a better woman for yourself. Only time will tell if the relationship can be saved but the norm is that we're human and we all make mistakes and also know how to forgive unless we're unreasonable or whatever happened is unforgivable in our eyes. Your relationship will only benefit from a change. Better to start now and go through a breakup later and keep on working on yourself then keeping on emasculating the man you love until he can't take it anymore.

It's not controlling to hamster often cheating, because let's face it, even if he calls it roleplay, it's still a one on one sexual connection with someone else that has no other purpose than to release his sexual tension. The fact he doesn't understand this and still talks to her daily is bad, he has no remorse or shows no understanding of the impact it had on you. It also doesn't show any kind of respect for you. Well it is a bit of a fantasy though. A rich handsome man that falls in love with a normal girl who works in a little shop and spends lots of money on her and has steamy sex with her is usually an erotica plot. You can try any type of sex you want with a future committed partner. Stop trying to justify your bad choices with being a millennial and fruit comparisons. You can dig your own grave if you want to, but you wont get any validation here for your desire to sleep around. Dick is dick, what matter is the man that dick is coming from. I came to say this is a bad bad idea. Fine you've changed. But I don't think most good guys will accept no sex until marriage if you're not virgin. Wait for a committed relationship and then have sex. Don't do one night stands or cave in before that. Don't wait until marriage.

OK OK OK, relax champion. Let's go by points. If you don't have self confidence which is extremely attractive, you have to work on it. If that means losing weight, go for it. If that means getting plastic surgery, eh, maybe learn makeup. If beauty is all you have to offer, beauty is all they will take. You don't need to be a 10, you just need to be realistic and aim for someone that is on the same level as you which may or may not imply to work your ass off to get better skills as well as be mor…

Here in Portugal it's soon the day of the woman and I'm going with my friend to eat at McDonald's and get coffee after work. Just a girls night. It's going to be such a treat!! My SO and I are going for dinner on Valentine's day and I'm so excited; got my nails done baby pink with the ring fingers nail covered in fake diamonds and he loved it. I'm pro-choice. It's easy to look at number and statistics but the truth is everyone, woman and men, are human. Mistakes happen, condoms breaks and being forgetful about your pill once can wreck havoc on the level of safety of the pill for that month. There's many factor involved to be able to say something like "if you don't want kids, abstain from sex". It might be more acceptable to say "avoid situations that can lead to an unwanted pregnancy". We don't live each others lives to be able to sa…

Check the other comments to know how to let him lead but if you don't want to work your relationship in a way that shifts this dynamic, there's not much I can say. From what I understand from all the reading I've done on here, he either is encouraged to lead or he isn't. That's up to you to enable him and let him assume the leadership. If that's what you want because right now it's all in your hands since he isn't stepping up for himself.

Maybe find someone who loves you for who you are and doesn't make requests that make you feel hurt or uncomfortable? I'm all about trying to fit into his preferences, but not if it makes you feel bad. This is not something you necessarily have to do, you just do it on your own initiative and if you want to. Well at least for me it's a choice, not something that bothered my SO to the point he would insist it and point it out like that. I agree with another user who said he might be coming from a …

It's not wrong, it's just not encouraged around here because it's the complete opposite of what we reinforce every day. You do you and if you're happy the way your relationship is, then great. Maybe you just won't get the right advice for your specific dynamic in this sub. My humble opinion, to take with a grain (or a whole spoon) of salt. I'm not speaking on behalf of the whole community though, it's my personal opinion.

Dating is the time you vet a man for a relationship. Your vetting already haves you wanting to change him. Next him and find someone with a little more alphaness. If you really want to stick around him, force him into a position of choosing what he wants. One way to have handled the situation better would've been to ask him what he had in mind for the date. After he answered he wanted you to plan it, you could've said something like "surprise me" and change subjects. He would probably have figur…

Well one thing that bothered me at first before I understood what love languages were is that he absolutely hates holding hands. Pre-RP I thought he didn't want to be seen with me. He later told me he hated holding hands because they forced him to hold hands in pairs at school when he was in elementary and the other kids had sweaty, warm, sticky hands. He will gladly show he's with me by putting his arm around my shoulders or around my hips.

Don't open up to all people. You need standards, even if it's just basic hygiene. A good point would first be to see what you can bring to a relationship and then plan your list accordingly so that you don't go under your range but don't go too far above your range. And I agree with the non-negotiable though, because you want to weed out guys who will waste your time but don't want to be so precise that you automatically discard half the population.

I don't know how old they are but try to aim a little higher in term of ages. Between 24 up to 30 (if you're comfortable/attracted to those ages). Older men are already more stable financially and have already had a lot of years to go wild so they'll be more inclined to settle down. Personal opinion of course because you'll still meet older dudes that just want to rack up their numbers with girls on their 20s. Plus that's so rude of the guy to bash your beliefs. Chivalry these days u.u

OK so... I think he's being a good brother and bonus points, he takes excellent care of his sister do daddy material right there. About his sister, it could simply be one of those case where the little girl has like a platonic "crush" on her father or brother, usually it's with the father. It's a think little girls do, or so I've read. She's obviously happy to be with him so it's not like he's hurting her or being inappropriate. Never. I don't care that much about other people's opinions on me, unless they're my SO so I'd rather ask my SO to rate me if it came to that. I feel that type of sub is a cry for attention. If you have eyes on your face, it's easy to look in the mirror and see what's bad and what's good. Plus there are so many subs on here that it would be more appropriate for example to post a pic of you're bare face or usual makeup to a makeup sub and ask for the best way to bring out your features.

My SO never asked me to change anything but naturally I want him to see me as very attractive. I like to ask his opinion so I can abide by his preferences. I not sure I understood what you said properly, but I just wanted to add a little piece of advice given by Laura Doyle in The Surrendered Wife. Well you better start working on that to show your kids a good example. This isn't a "he does, she does" issue so stop blaming your husband for not motivating you. He's not your mom to keep pushing on you to do things, neither is it your job to do that to him.

Hmm I disagree. While good sex is a huge part of a healthy relationship and one of it's basics, I don't think it's the only point that will get the man's attention. Well unless you're a plate and you stop providing sex but don't have enough value to keep him besides that. There's lots of reasons for which a couple might stop having sex for a certain period of time (period, pregnancy and post partum, therapy, surgeries...) Women would be screwed if the only thing keeping men from pointing out our…

Sounds like a good idea, maybe we can in fact share some advice. Personally, these are mine: Cooking skills: Mine aren't that great. My SO is a better cook than me. I want to work on it the next few years because I always had someone to cook for me. I know how to turn the stove on but my meals are flawed, like salt-less pasta or the meat isn't flavored enough, things like that. My boyfriend tells me I'm pretty all the time but I he wishes I was skinny which is completely normal. If you can't find it in you to be better for yourself and for your husband, do it for your kids. No one wants that embarrassing slobby mom to show up at school meetings. Don't keep count in the relationship. Just because your SO has no interest in leveling his SMV, you should still work your ass off to look great for him. Why does he have a low SMV though?

I would say celebrate your b-day with a little slice of cake and gift yourself a membership for the gym or for your favorite dance/yoga/whatever classes. I'd also say to stop trying to act 19 or 20 if you're 40 because that's trashy. Stay classy and lady like, please don't be that old aunt that gets botox and fake tans and parties at the club every weekend. Also, find a guy with something for cougars. The dog in question is more of a playful biter, but it escalated to being sneaky. Last time I was trying to pick him up of the bed to put it on the floor and he tried to bite my face/neck. Next time I was cuddling with it and he started growling at me. Mind you this puppy is adorable and will come running to greet me when I come in but sometimes he acts slightly aggressively. All in all he's a cutie and hasn't given any problems yet but I worry a bit that he'll bite me more seriously one day. I …

Well the dog I'm talking about is a hunter breed so it makes sense he's bitey. But other dogs from the same breed don't bite me, they just want to cuddle :p so I think it might be from the rough play he got used to biting. Idk he's still cute as heck but will try to bite from time to time.

It's in The Surrendered Wife. The point here is he doesn't have time to plan meals and she doesn't have the knowledge to plan meals in a weight loss focused/nutritional point of view. By delegating the task of meal planning to him, he will probably go to a nutritionist who will create a meal plan which he can bring back to her and she will happily cook it knowing a professional used his expertise to do it properly.
/r/RedPillWives27/01/17 04:02 PM

It depends. Rough play can teach the animal to be aggressive which is also a bad sign. I know this girl who wrestles a lot with her dog playfully. Now he starts growling at me when I hug him and generally plays by biting, sometimes pretty roughly. He didn't do that before, I think he learned it was appropriate behavior after they started playing roughly. He might enjoy the play but that doesn't mean he's being trained properly to be around kids for example. I think dogs won't respect people for …

That's interesting! I can name a few actually... If the man is hitting the dog or being aggressive with him. If the dog is agressive or fearful of his owner or of other people. If the dog is scared if you make a sudden move. Those are 3 I could think about that would be red flags regarding a possibly violent owner. And if he hits the dog... What else can he hit?

I also wanted to add to your wonderful post that sometimes, a "beta" actually has a lot/some of alpha traits and more often than not, it is enough to have a great and happy relationship. A great way to respect a man you consider lower than you in value is to get a good long look at yourself. Sometimes people have the reflex to put themselves on a higher pedestal when they belong in 3rd or even 4th place. When choosing a partner, it's good to have humility. What you're describing is actually the moment when real life sinks in the fairytale and that monotony becomes a new part of the relationship. Which is basically where every relationship is headed unless you actively work towards perpetuating the honeymoon phase. I don't really agree with those terms either way. I think there is no honeymoon phase - it's just a term people use to describe the end of courting and the start of the real relationship, where you're really comfortable around each other…

I've finished reading The Surrendered Wife and I realized one thing that goes not only for romantic relationships but for pretty much every type of relationship. For every story, there are two points of view. It's too easy to point out what's wrong without trying to rationalize why. It's easy to be self-centered and forget that if something sucks for us, it can suck even more for our SO. So with this, I'm much more aware that just because my SO does something "wrong", it's easier to just nag tha…

Don't worry, everything really is fine. You have to trust your man that he is making the right choices and the right friendships. For a home to be wrecked, you need 2 persons and as you said, you completely trust your SO to not let you down, so he won't. I never wear makeup (except on special occasions) and even then I just go with thin eyeliner, mascara and a pretty lipstick. I don't wear foundation because no matter how I put it, it looks cakey. If it's money, can explain why the girls are competing for to hard - not for the dude but for the moneyz :p But yeah, I think the same about those reality shows like Loft story. Put a bunch of slutty chicks with low quality men and make them screw each other and make drama for money. "Good luck finding a quality man after displaying that behavior on national TV, girl. Enjoy your money alone."

My friend looks who is 45 and looks 30 has a lot of care with her diet. Vegan, only organic food, no sugar + she takes good care of her skin and hair + sports (horse riding and vigorous gardening in her fields. Genetics probably have their play in this too :p

Very true! This doesn't only apply to makeup but to clothes and hair and everything too. I never really thought about this but now that you bring it up I can see I haven't been making an effort at home when I see him all the time but will try to look better when facing society. Fortunately, my SO likes seeing me in my Pj's and hair balled up on top of my head so I'm lucky :p but there is some room for improvement (shaving everyday and putting lotsa cream, notching it up a bit with pristine higie…

I personally define the wall as the age by which your fertility starts to decline. So after the 30's. You can still be good looking and date after that age, you can be 60 and be good looking if you take care of yourself. I know women that are 45 and look 30. I should be married by 26 max so I can have 2 kids before 30 and eventually 1 after 30 but before 35. I'm 24 and my SO is 29.

I guess one of the biggest differences is that in relationship you aim to secure your partner's commitment and take it to the marriage level. Once you're married, you work to maintain the marriage as healthy as possible to maintain your position as a married woman.

Found it! If you don't feel comfortable flirting, how can you 1) Captivate a man 2) Show your interest so he continues to pursue you 3) Let yourself be courted? It seems the fact you're so "prude" will lead to men thinking you are not interested or frigid. I think it's fine if you want to wait after marriage to have sex and find it honorable but the fact you don't let yourself be pursued is probably the biggest issue. Relax. Dating is fun. Don't do anything you will regret but don't be afraid to…

Ohhh I want to participate!!! -Skincare and haircare: washing my face everyday first thing when I wake up is a routine that makes me feel refreshed, pretty and feminine. Plus pamping my curls is also very relaxing. -Get nails and hair done + waxing facial hair: an afternoon of this makes me feel like a new person even if I dye my hair the same color every time haha -Journaling: very helpful to stay positive, I write about goals in a positive tone and skip through the bad days. -Dishwashing, clot…

Alright about all that. Now what about those beta men? What qualifies them as beta for you? What about the men you want? I read on here earlier this week that you had to find the best men you could find within your range of SMV. Maybe you're disqualifying men too easily as beta. Then again you can't change what you're attracted to but maybe some of those beta men are a mix of beta and alpha traits and haven't got the chance to show their alpha side because they feel they don't have your respect.…

You refer to your disabled sibling and father to take care of. Not sure if this is viable but can't you get a live-in housemaid to take care of them at least part-time? Why can't you work and be married at the same time? You might have a job as a military, but you can and must separate work and your personal life. Your masculine personality and habits are on you and you alone, only you can change them if you want with dedication. You can find a great captain who is a mix of beta and alpha, but R…

I didn't check the library but I'm pretty sure they don't have it as the book isn't even sold in the biggest bookstore chain here in Portugal. But it's a great idea!! I'll give it a try and might get lucky :) Thank you so much. Worst case I can try to purchases both on ebay, used copies so I can save some money on them. Both books in ebook format would be about 40€ for me so I wanted to make the best choice.

Thank you for your reply :) the last few chapters in the surrendered single are the ones that interest me more. Waiting on a proposal is eating me up. I know it's just a question of being patient but I worry he'll change his mind and other silly things. Hahaha thank you :)

The almond or oval-shapped nails have a feminine feel to it. I agree on the French Manicure though, it's kind of trashy and a really old fashion trend. Nails can be a great way to express yourself and I love that oval nails makes my fingers look longer and skinnier. It makes my hand more feminine overall.

This is great! I'm guilty of this too though. Maybe because many "grown up things" aren't teached at school so it is kind of a feat to figure some things out by yourself. I was at loss when I had to fill my taxes for the first time but was so proud of myself when I handed them in. I noticed the people I look up to actually do have their shit together and inspire respect. You look at them and think "what a lady" and then you look at people barely adulting "that chick is lost".

The eyebrows and obsessive contouring though :o What do you mean by fake femininity? I'd like to understand better please. :)

True 100% And the fact someone can get bashed/destroyed for daring to say it's unhealthy is just astonishing. I find that fatpeoplestories is great to understand how ridiculous fat acceptance can be. I respect you if you love yourself, I respect you if you're doing something about it, but I'll run the other way if you tell me your cellulite thighs are hot, your heart burn is genetics and your double chin are curves. Mama, you ain't supposed to have curves in place you're not supposed to. I think…

Hahaha thank you for your advice! I might go for the housewife one then! I checked the table of contents for the surrendered single and half the book is not relatable as I already vetted and secured my captain's commitment as far as a LTR goes, just working on myself in hopes I make him happier and more relaxed so he can be his manly sexy self.

Thank you so much for your advice :) I might go for the surrendered housewife then. I'm sure both books have great lessons in them but I'm just reluctant that the housewife one is more focused on joint finances, house chores, kids and all that serious things that are not really relevant in my relationship right now. But maybe I have the wrong idea!! Thank you!!! Edit: just to specify I just checked the table of contents for the Surrendered housewife and feel it's more relevant to me than the sin…

I would try to let go of this. Picture it this way: what is the worse that can happen if you don't get the place your landlord offered? Will you be doomed to live in a cockroach infested house or live in a bad neighborhood? Most certainly not. Let your husband house-shop to his heart's content - he will find a great deal and you will both be happy. I can't really see any other way this could go bad - the only "issue" would be you fighting to have your way for something that isn't critical.

I used to refer myself as a feminist (the first and second wave type) but now it has such a strong connection with the third and fourth wave that I feel better to disassociate with the term. I also think some issues refered by "modern feminists" are borderline ridiculous. Fighting for issues like "free the nipple" is off putting.

Taking better care of myself :) These last years, I've completely lost myself - I've been working trying to make more money, neglecting myself on the way. I gained lots of weight, stopped taking good care of myself and the house (which made me a shitty girlfriend) with the objective of making more money. I'm not making that much money and I'm really stressed and out of sync. So 2017 will be all about being better to myself, therefore making things better for my SO on the way. 1) Getting healthie…
