That just speaks to how small of a portion of men that they find to be preferably desirable

10% of men will forever be pieces of garbage

The best part is that they both work from home at least half of the time, so there’s no legit reason why they can’t supervise them properly

It makes me wonder if they’re being used for security, in which case the owners should understand how it’s actually increasing the probability of an incident
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/26 03:47 PM

Right? One of the greatest points of emphasis to children when the parents get a pet is how it’s an ongoing responsibility to supervise and manage their behavior. Apparently that was a load of crap and you can just…treat them like grazing cattle lol We have a wonderful neighborhood, but I’ve never seen them walk these dogs once

If it weren’t for all of the times I’ve been told as man that I have to go above and beyond to make others feel comfortable, I would be more receptive to how their choices are technically legal

Well, all it would take is women understanding that big men can be killed with the pull of a trigger, but their brains refuse to embrace reality

Q4All: Is it acceptable to live in a neighborhood and buy two hunting dogs to leave in the front yard (unsupervised with an invisible fence) for up to hours at a time, several times per day, every day…when you know for a fact that they always have and always will bark and bay incessantly at every passing person and vehicle (and often at nothing perceptible by humans)? It seems like one of the least considerate and most annoying things one could legally subject their neighbors to. If I were execu…

Only when men do it, obviously. Women always have consent

Yeah, it’s such a rape culture…we only have fucking studies about how bad it is to…checks notes, be attractive to women by using status and money.

There’s more to equality than earnings. Women don’t seem to mind inequality when it sees them as a 25 point majority in colleges

They generally aren’t the women who have a choice in the matter (not desirable). They gain a sense of moral superiority by asserting these supposed principles

It depends on your demo. If you’re an office worker, it’s about the old money aesthetic. If you’re in the hood, you’ll get further with hot drip
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/26 10:07 AM

You’re rhetoric relies heavily on “I decided that you belong to X group, and therefore I don’t need to debate the point at hand, because you aren’t aligning with my assumptions about you.”

How about answer the main claim in the title first, since you’re so pressed for effort and time?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/26 09:39 AM

No, women don’t care about equality, they think it’s fair when they are on top
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/26 09:38 AM

That’s an issue because it all starts with academia
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/26 09:38 AM

You’re in a more normal part of the world. The US is obsessed with maximizing outcomes and competition

I understand that. I’m referring to normal posts about looks

It’s a self perpetuating cycle, yes, but it started with them being rejected, then they complain, then they get stigmatized

This is why they ban AI posts because it’s able to sidestep that bs by using clinical and dry language

I love that scene from Louis…a true RP moment that needed to be shown to us
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 08:05 PM

Do you hold women who exclusively date men who are wealthier than them to this standard? Aren’t they being r’d every day because their entire lifestyle is predicated on their sexual and romantic relationship with these men?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 08:01 PM

Are looks posts actually banned? I’ve seen several of them and they haven’t been taken down despite being reported. I could make looks posts every week, but I don’t because I know that mine would be taken down.

Yeah, society doesn’t care about men and needs them to be demonized.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 07:58 PM
7

It’s called incentives and basic psychology. It’s similar to how wealthy people feel the urge to believe in meritocracy. It’s easier to enjoy life believing that they deserve their wealthy life, and that those around them who are literally suffering, deserve it. People need to believe that sexually unsuccessful men deserve to be. People need to believe that there exists a possibility for everyone to find love and happiness as long as they are good people.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 07:49 PM
10

The behavior is a direct result of their virginity.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 07:49 PM

I never denied the possibility of men choosing to delude themselves. Yes, normal people can convince themselves that what they can get is what they want.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 07:47 PM
5

They is society… And no, I’m not asserting that there’s a nefarious plot against ordinary men; I’m merely citing the manifestations of the subconscious urge most people have to turn a blind eye to the price these men pay for the peace of mind of the sex havers.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 07:45 PM
15

Yes, men are treated more critically when they are sexually unsuccessful. It’s a rare occasion for society to affirm the goodness and positive attributes of sexually unsuccessful men. The societal narrative that lack of sex = bad person if they have anything to say about their dissatisfaction functions to marginalize these men. Society is afraid of acknowledging that most of these men are unsuccessful because women are free to not need men, because they fear these men checking out of society. Th…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 05:26 PM
5

No, most of those men don’t say anything wrong. You want the perception to be that they are all like that because it makes it easier to dismiss the validity of sexually unsuccessful men’s dissatisfaction.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 05:00 PM
14

That’s fine, but they still make men out to be wrong for wanting what these same women don’t bat an eye at successful men wanting.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 04:58 PM
18

Men wouldn’t act like women owe them anything for being a good person if women didn’t demonize sexually unsuccessful men as being inherently bad people.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 04:57 PM

Most women are turned off by that prospect
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 04:55 PM

Since when are new looks posts allowed? Seen a few recently, and they are not so coincidentally from a BP perspective
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/26 11:18 PM

It’s passive because they just existed to get those options.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/26 06:48 PM

It looks like not taking anything for granted. For example, when complaining about something, throw in a quick, “While it is nice to have more freedom than most women to have ever walked this planet, it would be even better if…x, y, z”

So you told me, in a direct reply, that it seems to be hard for a lot of men to do what you describe at the beginning of your reply, then you openly thanked god for the men who (unlike the men like me) aren’t ignorant, sniveling bastards. That’s a personal insult.

Men don’t make their entire personality feminism.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/26 10:54 PM

So you agree with OP?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/26 10:51 PM

Jeffrey Epstein was friends with Ghislane Maxwell and many other women. As long as women keep using heuristics to judge men, they will get wrecked.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/26 10:45 PM

Because men have a more concentrated distribution at the bottom and top of society.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/26 10:42 PM

I disagree. Two adults = none of my business
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/26 10:40 PM

He’s not acting like that, he’s saying that’s never a consideration. The gap in and of itself with an older man is usually disproportionately criticized.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/26 10:39 PM
5

That’s fine, but BP people ought to explicitly acknowledge this phenomenon when stating their views instead of almost universally appealing to a nebulous and mostly non-existent agreed upon societal standard to justify their views.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/26 10:38 PM
7

Very few men are sincerely asking for pity dates; they merely point out how society’s common assumptions about rejected men often fail to explicitly include factors beyond their control which come into play before a swipe or interaction occurs.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/26 10:36 PM
7

This is inherently a looks post
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/26 10:34 PM

I disagree. If you don’t have the discipline to read dry posts then simply keep scrolling
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/26 07:34 PM

Yeah, that’s an issue. People should be able to use AI to make stronger posts.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/26 07:15 PM
1

That ideal (for some men) doesn’t invalidate what most men desire as a compromise on that - commitment from a woman who they sincerely desire.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/26 06:37 PM
1

It’s not that complicated: they want women to figure out where the intersection of what they desire and who they can get commitment from rests - without becoming slurs, then date with intent to marry, and choose a man based on long term compatibility.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/26 05:00 PM

Their issue is RP people being more readily able to counter those who oppose them
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/26 01:29 PM

Who cares? Not me. I would rather it be more easily understood
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/26 01:37 AM

The answer to your question is that some men don’t have to improve to get the results that the unsuccessful men seek.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/26 12:04 AM
1

It doesn’t blend in with normal writing because normal writing on Reddit is an abomination to the English language.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/26 11:12 PM
2

Yes, I am grateful for being allowed to live.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/26 09:04 PM
5

The social treatment that abusers get is often better than how sexually unsuccessful men are treated, and that’s condemnable as hypocritical and insufficiently forthcoming when the people doling out this disparate treatment claim to have standards of behavior for men, and claim that sexually unsuccessful men’s issue is personality.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/26 09:01 PM

All of the men they complain about
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/26 08:57 PM

The fact is there are tons of these women, and if most men want to have a partner, that’s who many of them are left with, versus being alone for life.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/26 05:06 PM
1

That doesn’t preclude the availability of the choice to better inform oneself than most young women in particular seem to be willing to make.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/26 05:04 PM
2

We’ve had the internet and social media for decades now… young women need to learn, just like they learn not to jump off a bridge without needing to try it first.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/26 04:57 PM
10

It’s more like, if personality matters so much, why wouldn’t she date me if she would tolerate a literal abuser…? Lol These guys are treated poorly for having anything to say about their lack of success, and to top it all off, they are made out as being worse than abusers and criminals.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/26 04:54 PM
1

This is the correct automod people
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/26 04:06 PM

That’s an astute point. I like to see consistency in each person’s views
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/26 04:05 PM
1

It’s not that it’s unfair, it’s that women are ungrateful. Given the consternation about women’s privileges and rights, it would only be commensurate for them to at least be grateful when they aren’t infringed. It’s like they take it for granted until men pipe up about how their lives suck now.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/26 04:02 PM
13

No, they don’t need to ask themselves that question. The genesis of this whole debate is women downplaying the extent to which some women tolerate behavior which they explicitly verbalize having standards against, and the prevalence of this compromise among women. If they could all get on the same page and admit it like you did, you wouldn’t see nearly the same prevalence of men pointing it out. So yes, personality matters, but not as much as women pretend it does, and not for as many people as …

People settle
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/26 07:31 AM

The concept of the friend zone isn’t predicated on the assumption that attraction is entirely built by pressing the right buttons; it merely acknowledges that one can’t merely exist and get laid, so yes one’s inputs matter. It also not treating friendship as a punishment; it merely acknowledges that when a person who desires more than friendship with their friend realizes that their friend only wants friendship, it can be a let down.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 10:53 PM

It’s a matter of prevalence. You’re likely in the minority of men on this one.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/26 10:49 PM

It’s because women have more leverage socially and in romantic relationships, as well as men’s implicit greater ability to physically harm women. But instead of women just owning it and saying “because we can” or “because we’re afraid of men” they will criticize you for noticing or caring.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 05:45 PM

The point is to ensure that people are making choices with that reality in mind, not trying to deny how important it is just because they found someone they like otherwise.

That’s a misleading simplification of the matter. It’s my belief that, once fully informed and experienced, most women would come to strongly prefer a larger than average penis, which has significant ramifications on how women choose partners. I would hope that a woman who says “size does not matter” (full stop) would see an undeniable set of examples which prove that it matters, and reconsider their view, despite how soul crushing it would be for most women who are dating/married men with an av…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/26 06:32 PM

Why? If this is such an inherently justified circumstance for men, based on women’s prerogative, then the fallout ought to be accepted

Women need to understand that for many men, it’s not worth putting in extra effort compared to the more inherently desirable men. And before you call this a bad attitude, etc. first openly condemn the women who accept poor treatment from more desirable men, despite them claiming to have authentic standards for better treatment, which they cite as justification of sexually unsuccessful men’s failure.

Are we allowed to post np links to Reddit porn posts or links to porn videos? I want to show examples of how penis size matters to facilitate certain positions, etc.

I think people pretend to care about friendships way more than they actually do. If it weren’t for the prospect of finding a sex partner, most people wouldn’t do much of anything in life.

/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 09:52 PM

They essentially move the goalposts on men. You aren’t successful? Ok, well it must be X? Oh, I was wrong and it’s not X? Then it must be Y. Etc. There doesn’t exist a scenario in which women can concede that a man is hitting the mark in every area other than the ones he can’t control.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/26 06:51 PM

Some things aren’t able to be proven, and that’s ok. We can still debate.

I understand. I’m not calling for changing anything, by the way.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/26 03:54 PM

It is bad for most men. They need to work longer hours, in worse conditions, for less pay than they would have if women largely remained outside of the workforce. Then, for all their effort, they get to be less desirable to women than their grandparents.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/26 02:23 PM

It’s subconsciously both.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/26 02:21 PM

It’s a matter of emphasis. Yes, they get dates…with whom? After how much deviation from their authentic lifestyle preferences?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/26 02:19 PM

It’s not that women should settle; they just need to stop blaming men for their lack of success - women’s preferences are the limiting factor here.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/26 11:46 AM

What you’re describing is personality…yes, some people flip a switch because they aren’t authentic.

This comment has a weird defensive energy to it, as though the status quo must be correct at all costs. God forbid we look at how women’s selection of men isn’t virtuous. Men stop trying because it’s the logical thing to do, if they see men who don’t need to try, succeeding.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/26 11:41 AM

They will never be able to concede that lesser desirable men are simply paying the price for women’s freedom. It’s ok not to be attracted to guys, but it’s wrong to gaslight them.

I agree, but to be consistent, society ought to be more accepting of the men who are paying the price for this transition, expressing their discontent. It’s not their fault; their fathers and grandfathers would likely not have reproduced under today’s conditions. This should be the expected outcome, and we shouldn’t treat sexually unsuccessful men as though they did something wrong for not wanting to beat their heads against a wall persisting.

The clitoris extends within the woman, cradling the vaginal canal, which can be stimulated with girth. Stimulation of the vestibular bulbs is done with girth, too. Stimulation of the anterior and posterior fornices (behind and in front of the cervix) with length stimulates the vagus nerve.

It’s more common now than ever due to men’s hormonal health being under constant assault from our environment, food, and technology - as well as women being more encouraged by our culture than ever to embrace their libido.

Q4Feminists: is there anything that you hold intelligent, educated, liberated, autonomous women accountable for? For example, I’ve been told that even when women do things “wrong” like criticizing other women for how they look or how they behave promiscuously, that’s not their fault, it’s merely “internalized misogyny”.

The more partners a woman has, the less likely the average man will be able to be her best. If you’re even one of just 5 total, that’s still only a 20% chance.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/26 04:26 PM
0

So even if N count does not matter, it matters if it’s 2,000?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/26 04:25 PM

It’s suppose to give the average man a chance of being a woman’s best by the time she marries someone.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/26 04:18 PM

There’s no such thing as an outrageous number if N count does not matter to someone.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/26 04:17 PM

They heavily emphasize that unsuccessful men’s issue is merely attitude and personality, which is obviously not true, as you mentioned.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/26 04:15 PM
0

If you met someone on a first date and N count came up and they told you it’s 2,000…you would or would not care?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/26 04:14 PM
1

Eh. I disagree because many people who care have cited things like pair bonding issues, how one values sex, how one socializes, etc. That doesn’t preclude them from also just caring to be the woman’s only partner, but the point is that’s not the only reason for enough people who care, to render the point of person who I was replying to invalid.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/26 04:11 PM
-3

It’s still about N count, though. Do you really think that people who have a preference or standard for a relatively low N count for prospective partners is exclusively about the number? No, it has also always been a proxy for anything and everything that correlates with N count.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/26 04:45 AM

He said it’s brutal, not unachievable. Also, keep in mind, he’s not seeking anything different than others - he’s just unestablished in the new city. It’s notably easier for women and those who are more local to navigate these scenes.

They aren’t going to admit that you’re right.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/26 03:18 AM

Yes, people should use precise language. To say that N count doesn’t matter is not some casual statement, like “I’ll have whatever for lunch” in the context of deciding which restaurant to go to. If you say that N count doesn’t matter to you, but it actually does, that’s just poor communication. The only other people who responded to my comment insisted that even 2,000 people would not be too many for their partner’s N count.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/26 01:39 AM
-1

They are getting the opportunity to have sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/26 12:58 AM
1

That’s not accurate. I’m asking them a question. They can say, *”No, that’s too many people, and I should rephrase my stance of ‘N count does not matter’ the next time I weigh in on this subject.”*
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/26 12:57 AM

I’m not calling for them to grovel, I’m calling for them to stop calling non-bigotry, bigoted.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 11:25 PM

If you wish to see less bigotry against women, this is precisely the worst way to go about achieving that. Men who make caveated statements ought to be acknowledged as having done so, because if you treat it like overt bigotry, that’s what you’re going to start seeing more.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 10:06 PM

How is what I said bigoted? Men do the same thing, we are just talking about women in this post
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 09:58 PM

Not all women
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 09:54 PM

We’re not supposed to acknowledge this, but friend groups tend to form around similar levels of attractiveness, just as couples do, because the historical function of social groups is to find sex and romantic partners, even if only through friends of friends. If a woman has the chance to rub shoulders with particularly desirable men, they are going to lean toward doing so, even if that means ditching lesser desirable male friends who wouldn’t jive with that group.

My point is, women never say, “I realized that I wasn’t particularly attracted to him; I just wanted to settle down and have kids.” they will feel that way, then find other things to cite as the real issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 12:01 AM

No, you replied directly to me by saying “And we know who to avoid all together. Thank *you* for that.” You can only avoid those who express my opinion, which you thanked me individually for, so that means you were attacking me personally.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 12:00 AM

Well in the context of this reply chain, you’re referring to me. That’s irrelevant to the topic at hand. You’re just attacking me personally.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 11:54 PM

And yet, most women who get married have their father walk them down the aisle…they don’t really care, they just selectively shame men they disagree with to fan the flames of intrasexual competition among women. They can’t allow men to choose younger women.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 11:53 PM

Who?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 11:51 PM

You’re drawing the target around where the arrow landed, though. Sure, I would be miffed, but guess what? It’s my responsibility and nobody else’s to save me. I would rather be on my own in that scenario than to be labeled an a hole for not saving others randomly.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 11:23 PM

So you would always intervene, even if a man was being harmed?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 11:23 PM

It’s called liking sex and having freedom.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 11:22 PM

Yes, to me it’s hypocritical to oppose purity balls, etc. while vehemently opposing adults dating each other or having sex, based on their ages.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 11:21 PM
1

No, because there is always something significantly more important to worry about, but that doesn’t stop them from dunking on almost any other man in such a scenario.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 11:20 PM

Why should they notice, care, or intervene?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 11:19 PM

Women can’t accept that there are trade offs in life. To them, any inconvenience that correlates with them doing whatever they want, is an infringement on their freedom, not just…adulthood.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 11:18 PM
-6

I’ve taught women older than me how to orgasm from penetration…they tend not to know as much as they let on. Quite honestly, women are psychologically incentivized not to be hyper aware of their inner workings; they need to believe that the laundry is in fact grounds for divorce, not that they married the wrong person lol Also, re: dating apps - there’s only approximately a 7 percentage point gap between the portion of men and women who have used dating apps. Women’s snapshot significantly lower…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 11:15 PM
6

Tell that to the people who do their damnedest to set traps for people. Like yeah, let’s just make sweeping rule changes based on us not wanting to see people’s opinions we disagree with, and hope these guys aren’t here the two days it’s made clear.

/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 11:12 PM

Something being “a skill” does not inherently justify its use as a metric. What should instead be acknowledged is, “It’s our prerogative to use X skill as a metric”. Just own it. Networking being a skill doesn’t justify a hiring manager refusing to equally consider candidates who they haven’t met before. Raising awareness of your contribution to a workplace being a skill doesn’t justify your boss failing to understand how every employee who reports directly to them contributes to the workplace. …
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 11:01 PM
2

How do I explain this…they want something so bad that they can’t get, and they are gaslit to believe it’s not important, even though plenty of people have it and enjoy it, that it warrants voicing their dissatisfaction.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 08:46 PM

Adult bullying more closely resembles mean girl behavior like exclusion and lack of non-verbal respect.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 08:07 PM

I don’t think it’s a disorder to expect basic acknowledgement of how it is not in fact worth it to everyone to bust ass just for the chance to barely get some semblance of what they wanted.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 07:14 PM
2

Or it could be that women who respond to dissatisfied sexless men by pretending that sex is just a cherry on top of life…go on to selectively make sex out to be the most important thing ever, to the point they march in the streets if they can’t have sex without the risk of being responsible for a child.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 07:01 PM
2

They are lamenting how, as I already explained, they are not one of the people who don’t need to try harder to get what they want. They can’t even get what they want when they try harder, they get some semblance of what they want. So they aren’t saying “Wahhh, it’s impossible for me” they are saying, “Damn, look at all of these people who just got to live life and get what they want”. There isn’t a solution for them. They are complaining about the immutable realities they face.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 06:58 PM

These groups are infiltrated, is my point
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 09:58 AM

I don’t
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/26 09:12 PM
1

Who ever claimed that it would?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/26 05:53 PM

What you described is how it’s supposed to work. Women don’t want men who other women reject. It’s the same reason why men are the ones who are made to initiate everything: Women want to see if you demonstrate confidence and other indicators of social proof. They want to see if you pick up on signals and vibes…it’s to weed out abnormal men.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/26 05:53 PM
1

Yeah…you can thank women for that.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/26 04:25 PM
2

It’s usually not just a skincare routine, and I tend to agree with the user above who reserves use of the term for more extreme things like limb lengthening, but I get your point. I agree that it’s dumb sounding, and I don’t think it’s organic. These groups of individuals are steered in directions that undermine the mainstream acceptance of their beliefs and choices. This is done to marginalize dissatisfied men.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/26 03:35 PM
1

If we don’t use weird names for things, society won’t be able to mock men as easily. You need to understand that anything against the status quo, like RP, will be wholly captured and molded into something that cannot succeed at becoming acceptable to the status quo
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/26 03:22 PM
4

Women’s preferences are extreme
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/26 03:21 PM
7

The emphasis on a mocking, homoerotic framing of men’s choices that women don’t like is played out…do better
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/26 03:20 PM
0

And then that coldness from a man toward women isn’t tolerated to be consistent
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/26 03:17 PM
6

This exemplifies the lack of empathy for men. This is why they don’t open up. People truly do not care about what men care about.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/26 03:16 PM
1

That’s a post hoc rationalization for her inability to come to terms with the fact that she couldn’t get a husband who she preferred sexually. Women who are actually turned on by their partner don’t end up in a dead bedroom
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/26 05:24 AM
2

But since so much rides on men being a larger threat to women (all of the special considerations and protections for women), we must be consistent here and understand that bad woman =/= bad man level of badness.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/26 11:16 PM

I’m glad that someone is bringing this here. I feel like people tend to be in denial of anything which happens subconsciously
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/26 11:12 PM

Women who cease to strongly bond with men through sex have become less sensitive to the oxytocin which is released with sex and orgasm with a partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/26 11:11 PM
-7

Most marriages are not happy and sex filled to the man’s liking, and it’s usually a marked departure from how she treated him when he had yet to commit to helping her fulfill her life long ambition of having children and a wedding
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/26 08:31 PM
0

That only strengthens my argument because if women are risking their lives for sex and relationships, they don’t want to risk that for mediocre sex
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/26 08:29 PM
-3

Technically not, but refusing to date someone who earns less than you (which many women do, particularly as they get higher up the income ladder) is indicative of caring more about money and status than the man himself.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/26 07:35 PM

If they need the man to earn as much as them, then they don’t like the man enough.

Your assertion that these women aren’t settling is also unfalsifiable.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/26 06:15 PM

What do we do? Freeze bank accounts of donors to peaceful protests or celebrate going from a World Economic Forum young world leader as Prime Minister to a corrupt banker?

/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/26 02:05 AM

It’s better than gaslighting, is all I meant by calling the gaslighting a half baked attempt. When I say women are benefitting, it’s not merely about the work men do. It’s about those men working etc. despite the lack of a primary benefit of sex and relationships with women. Women benefit by lesser desirable men not harming and raping them more often, and not organizing around revoking women’s freedom to a greater extent.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 11:09 PM
1

Ok well most undesirable men are being gaslit in some half baked attempt to avert their revolt, even if on an individual level, so their participation in society whatsoever in a positive way deserves to be acknowledged as a miserable existence for women’s benefit.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 10:45 PM
1

Yes, that is in fact what acknowledgement without any further specified requests means. It’s like thanking a veteran or a civil servant; they are doing something that someone has to do, for this society to function.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 10:39 PM

You’re attributing it to their life experiences (men have it better than women), not their innate biology
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 10:38 PM
1

lol why? Too much proof that looks matter and that women acknowledge it?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 10:37 PM

So women with hip dips have narrower hips?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 10:37 PM

It doesn’t come across as too tryhard? It’s performatively chill up top; it’s styled to look messy and him sitting there for half an hour while someone styled it then paying them $30-$100 for it seems femme “Hey just touch up that spot in the back I need it to look like my hair grows faster at each point up my neck” lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 10:33 PM
3

I would agree with you as long as rich men in one’s native country weren’t allowed to essentially buy relationships and sex, but that will never happen. If women in the US flock to wealthy men, then men in the US get to incentivize foreign women to flock to them.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 10:30 PM

No, they eat more sushi (parasites), eat more chocolate and wear more makeup (heavy metals), and are generally more neurotic (stress)

/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 11:02 AM

I’m not saying that anything should change, just that it’s acknowledged.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 03:39 AM

Yes, it is. Most people can only afford to live where they do because they split expenses with a partner. Add up those savings from 18-30 and you have yourself a down payment on a home. That’s before we even consider the effect it has on men’s self esteem and motivation. It’s unreasonable to continue to expect these men to trudge through all of the hard parts of life without the bright spots that make it worth living for most people.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 01:53 AM
6

It’s transparently meant to further marginalize men who are already rejected by most women Add in the Bugonia guy working for Amazon, the prison guard in Adolescence, etc. It’s just meant to make people think “blue collar/not popular = dangerous” which preemptively tries to justify their rejection
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 01:49 AM
8

The need to be sassy strikes again
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 01:48 AM
5

No, it’s just more fear mongering. Society needs to demonize lonely men because if their dissatisfaction is viewed as legitimate, we might just need to care about them, and acknowledge how they are paying a very real price to facilitate women’s historically newfound freedom.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 01:38 AM

Yes, it is. Clinical depression is just society’s way to make a systemic issue a personal issue. If men can’t blame society, then society gets to pretend that men are somehow faulty for not being happy with shit lives.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 10:43 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 10:11 PM

I understand. My point was merely that one wouldn’t need to work off these extra calories. The person eating the chicken and rice meal or an equivalent 3x per day already has plenty of calories to sustain themselves and to burn off
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 09:51 PM

I agree. People are very poorly educated about how meaningful most markers of beauty are
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 09:48 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 06:01 PM

It’s not an eating disorder to eat plain food, you just want to pathologize people who don’t want to exercise even more than they already have to It’s 3 minutes per day
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 05:59 PM

10 calories x 3 meals = 30 calories per day = 10,950 calories per year = 514,650 calories from age 18-65 = 858 hours of jogging (18 extra hours of jogging per year just for extra flavor)
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 05:56 PM

That’s not a disorder. Needing food to be hyper palatable is a disorder.

I disagree. This movie is pure anti-male propaganda, just like Bugonia. They had to make it seem like there “was something there” between them, because just like Don’t Worry Darling, they need the bad guy to have a realistic shot at love. They can’t show an actual inc who had no hope. That would put too many viewers on their side, at least emotionally.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 02:31 PM

Or, women are too sensitive and can’t handle being treated like a man
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 02:26 PM

To me, not successfully hiding that you’re having sex with or dating a coworker should be a fireable offense. You can’t put every man in a fireable position if he so much as looks at a woman the wrong way, then turn around and excuse that kind inherently taunting dynamic Also, if someone could report you to HR for doing something, that thing shouldn’t be allowed by anyone No hugs, touching, flirting, etc. this is a workplace.

Can we explore the bounds of insulting what someone wrote vs insulting the person? There are several users who seem to have perfected the art of dodging accountability to this rule. Like ok, you don’t agree with the person, that’s ok. You explain why, that’s ok. But they will literally say things like, “This reads like the dumbest POS ever wrote it, they are probably a virgin, etc” and I just don’t see how that’s not a personal insult. “This is a dumb take common among losers” “This is such an o…

/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 08:14 AM

Have you considered that they weren’t always like that, and that their life experiences made it clear to them that in their opinion, it wasn’t worth living any other way? This is their perspective, since I’ve asked people like this about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 02:27 AM
1

I agree with you, and I should have been more specific by explaining that regardless of the biological underpinnings, the culture that one grows up within influences the expression of those underpinnings, which includes how willing a man is to temper his standards in the sex/dating realm (only wanting casual or considering romantic relationships as well).

I wasn’t trying to convince you; I was just explaining how we disagree.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 01:15 AM

It’s not jealousy, it’s righteous indignation at how women’s freedom was predicated on principles which have been abandoned the moment it came time to offer that benefit to men. See higher education and women’s affinity for dating up even when they themselves can provide.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 01:04 AM
1

Ok, we disagree.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 01:03 AM
1

Ok, well unfortunately that’s the best way available to society to stop men from only wanting casual sex. I agree that it may fail.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 01:02 AM
3

I disagree. The root of the issue is women get to have their cake and eat it too. That’s not jealousy, that’s calling out how women’s freedom was built upon grievances that are ever eroding, so now they take men’s jobs, marry up, and raise the bar.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 12:42 AM
1

Women are upset that men lie to get sex because they aren’t desirable enough for casual sex. My main point was that’s to be expected, even though I’m against it. Society can’t have a two tier system in which only some men get casual, while expecting the second tier men not to lie.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 12:07 AM
1

Understandably, they are dissatisfied
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 12:05 AM

I’m not defending lying to women, I’m defending these men’s right to openly express dissatisfaction and to identity the dynamics through which they have worse lives.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 11:21 PM

Uh, yeah, that’s why I’m mentioning it
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 10:32 PM

Personal experience with the women who are in fact, shockingly, like we supposedly acknowledge most people can be…hypocritical!
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 10:25 PM
1

Yeah, believe it or not, not all men who want casual sex can attract women who will engage in it with them…so for those men, to see others get it with ease, while being relegated to investing in a relationship just to experience sex, will induce resentment.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 10:23 PM

I didn’t say anything that conflicts with this comment
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 09:26 PM

So you disagree with my assertion that the desirability of the man in question influences how the legitimacy of their desires are perceived?

There’s nothing precluding these women from selectively speaking against casual sex when it’s lesser desirable men who are asking for it or advocating for it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 09:21 PM

How do you know that none of the formerly promiscuous women criticize men for seeking casual sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 09:13 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 08:57 PM

Maybe they should talk their casual sex having peers against it, because it’s only in a world in which average men have to live knowing these better men don’t have to invest in relationships to have tons of sex, that a relationship being required is seen as a burden.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 08:56 PM
3

The point is that instead of women admitting that most men aren’t desirable enough for casual sex with them to be worth it, they paint this false picture of them having an overall critical view of casual sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 08:55 PM
1

How do you know there isn’t any overlap?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 08:53 PM

You’re glossing over a lot of nuance. People have to try with different levels of effort, with different ceilings of their outcomes, and much of that is due to the dynamic explained above.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 08:31 PM

That’s patently false. Men having disproportionate attraction toward women (in degree and as a portion of the opposite sex) than vice versa means that men generally have to try harder to get less in the sex and dating marketplace.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 08:22 PM

I’m not. I’m just pointing out the downstream effects of this disparity
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 08:13 PM

Your model is incomplete because take that same heartthrob and throw acid on his face or stunt his growth so he’s like 5’8” and see what happens

And yet, there are kids who are popular because they are more symmetrical and more closely resemble a swan

/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 07:19 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 03:12 PM

Stop gaslighting men is what should be done. Their lack of desirability in a modern dating market should be expected given the value proposition of their recent male ancestors being money due to previous women’s lack of freedom. These current men living lives of emotional anguish is part of the price of women’s freedom. They ought to say thank you to these men for laying down for them.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 11:59 AM

…no. Men care more about having sex and romantic relationships than women do, and that’s ok. Their low self worth is due to women who they desire sex and relationships with, rejecting their authentic self.

This misses the point that they are still legally obligated to support the child. Women don’t have to pay more than the cost of an abortion or even a plan B pill when abandoning their responsibilities.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/26 06:54 PM

You’re speaking as though the woman must choose not to have an abortion… Women gets pregnant > both parents should get to choose if they are responsible for the child, via abortion and paper abortion.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/26 06:53 PM

I understand that the laws are currently rigged. Guess what? Sometimes tax payers should need to foot half of the bill for a baby the woman had because she was too afraid to have an abortion.

Currently only women can have sex which leads to a pregnancy and guarantee that they aren’t necessarily responsible for the child. Men cannot. So they should be able to waive their right to be a parent in exchange for their ability to dodge that 18 year responsibility, like women can.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/26 06:29 PM
-8

Men can what? Yes, as I mentioned, being responsible for a child for 18 years is not a reasonable requirement for someone who just wanted to have sex…therefore the woman can have an abortion and the man should be able to waive his parental rights in exchange for not being responsible for the child.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/26 05:41 PM
-9

No, it doesn’t. Women just need to deal with the fact that sex can mean they become pregnant. That’s a separate issue from whether or not each partner gets the choice to be responsible for a child for 18 years after…having sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/26 05:37 PM

It wouldn’t work as you suggested because part of paper abortion is that the man surrenders his parental rights…

I’ll add that we need to stop pretending as though desirable people take rejection well because of some virtuous principle. No, they take it more easily because they have plenty of other options. Also, it’s wrong to criticize men for wanting “bad” women who reject them. Guess what? Most people aren’t that great, character wise, so if you want to have a partner, most likely they aren’t going to be a great person.

The average fully aroused vagina is about 7-8” deep. Most couples will have a buffer of about 1-3” due to thighs/hips/buttocks/etc. The average penis is about 5”. So the average man, when balls deep, can only penetrate about 2-4” and it’s obviously less when they are on the backstroke, so they have a margin of a couple of inches for the length of their strokes before falling out… That’s not enjoyable or fulfilling to most women, save for the girth stimulation, but larger men provide both.

Do you subscribe to the philosophy that it’s not enough to merely be allowed to and capable of doing something, if you face trade-offs or negative outcomes for doing it? For example, many people assert that it’s not good enough for a girl or woman to merely be free to choose to study STEM or apply to college to study STEM, she needs to have near society wide approval of that choice and to fit in socially with the men who study and work in that field.

The real dark truth is that women lose attraction for men who commit to them, let alone get on one knee and offer up a literal diamond ring asking to please marry them. It wouldn’t be the worst thing, but most men are barely getting their women wet as it is. Society also needs to acknowledge that women essentially use men. Oh, women don’t need men for the money…*anymore* BUT they will extract as much value as they can, still, but this time from a position of greater leverage.

Why is partnership with compatible partners wrong just because it involves people from different countries? What does that say to all of the green card holding women in the US? That in essence, their partnership cannot be consented to by an adult woman? Let’s not forget that nothing is precluding women from participating as app users; so you’re basically saying that the issue is the woman being from the non-US country.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 06:34 AM

I disagree. As long as some men receive attention and sex with women for being desirable, there will be status to be gained by becoming desirable and having sex. This is normal. It’s abnormal to pretend as though fully functional human reproductive systems are meaningless. We’re already making everyone wait until 18 to magically become adults as it is.

Oh please, drop the “extra steps” rhetoric. If you support women’s autonomy then you will support this system. It’s only if you believe that women can’t make informed decisions (that might even *gasp* require tradeoffs) that you would oppose this system. “What if she wants to break up” What if they had to decide after first meeting him on a travel visit whether or not she could commit to X years minimum with certain exceptions like abuse?

I think the true implicit assumption is that the man is aware of the limitations of his immutable characteristics. Insane because she’s like “I’ve had sex with so many hot guys, what happened to them liking meeee”
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/26 07:07 PM

She’s high maintenance and the video confirms it
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/26 07:07 PM

Whoever gives out awards, spend more time actually making and popularizing good points…stop forcing them into visibility. This site is rigged enough, we don’t need award givers to tell us what’s worth reading or valid.

…but men in that scenario are told to buck up and that it’s not a big deal. That’s somehow not acceptable to say to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/26 07:01 PM

If they worry about being killed and still date the guy they are addicted to sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/26 07:00 PM
2

It’s just a coincidence that it’s men? Do you really think socializing women to be men would lead to the same outcomes? The change would probably get their violence rates less than halfway to the current male stats.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/26 06:56 PM
3

You’re missing my point entirely; if women en masse were willing to take that hit, it would become normal for women to negotiate like that, and the stigma would slowly disappear.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/26 06:53 PM
8

No, women suck at negotiations and not enough of you are willing to take the hit of being “difficult” to sway the social norms. “OMG I wouldn’t be able to make smart choices and ask for what I want because some people wouldn’t like me” that’s a weak ass person
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/26 06:44 PM
5

You’re off base here. Women need to get over the fact that there are tradeoffs and yes, they will feel pressure in life…lol that doesn’t revoke their autonomy.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/26 06:42 PM
11

They used a definition of SA that the women themselves didn’t even agree with.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/26 06:40 PM

Yes, like if she just wants to spend more time with you, she should just say that, not make false claims. However, she likely knew that you don’t spend much time by yourself, so instead of risking being told that, she manufactures data about your time spent by yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/26 06:38 PM

Yes, women don’t like data or being called out.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/26 06:38 PM

Women’s fear and grievances are a right of passage and foster a sense of belonging among each other. They don’t actually think about the stats, they hear the popularized “stats” and it becomes part of their identity.

It’s not their choice. What runs the world? Those who control that control what happens. The soft launch will be things like…THE EU. “Do you really think Germany, France, etc. will want blah blah” yes. Then we will have the US control their hemisphere, then China invades Taiwan before expanding further, etc. I believe that WWIII will create the normalcy of these larger spheres of control.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/26 09:58 AM

Women will never own their tradeoffs. It will always be the man’s fault for not being what she needed or wanted.

To slowly and seemingly naturally weaken/kill people in western nations that have socioeconomic power that could potentially subvert an eventual authoritarian one world government. There will be an EMP/hack, forced digital ID to access the internet, CBDC’s, social credit systems. They get everyone in line. Then they fake the alien attack/invasion, perhaps there’s a pandemic blamed on space germs. That’s when people beg for more control and the unified one world government is born. Look at a map …

It’s called the spike protein and it will exacerbate existing weaknesses in your body, namely your heart tissue and various cancers. It’s the perfect weapon. Kind of like the movie, he tried to open your eyes when he asks the guy if he has any weapons on him, and gets poked with a needle. Then the guy attacks with three needles at once as a stabbing weapon. “Why only this one class of kids?” Nod to the batches. The witch is the media. She can get people to do anything.

I’m talking about the corporate workers. You jockey a desk…find a company that’s less of a POS. Like “Hey, Todd, why don’t you put your meeting attendance skills to the test at a company that doesn’t abuse workers/sell slave labor products/pollute the environment/dodge taxes/etc.” No, instead it’s “Every job is fine, just don’t be an ICE agent” and *coincidentally* they don’t associate with any ICE agents and they associate with corporate types. Gee, it’s almost like it’s a self interested lack …
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/26 09:00 AM
2

Like just about every major company? lol the fact that you have to ask is a testament to how they only focus on ICE instead of say, people who can afford to find a different job who work for Amazon, AI companies, private prisons, Walmart, etc. They focus on the companies in those cases, not the workers. How about they grow a pair and ruffle some feathers at their social gatherings which include wealthy corporate types.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/26 08:32 AM
5

To those who criticize people for joining ICE… why not criticize those who work for other employers you strongly disagree with? They don’t *have to* work for those employers, as is commonly cited in the ICE example.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/26 07:07 AM

But you’re effectively dismissing their impact. They can be a minority and cause mayhem
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/26 05:22 AM

Maybe don’t lead your reply to him with “you’re talking about a minority of women” then.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/26 05:18 AM

Then why did you dismiss OP’s concerns just because those women are a minority?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/26 05:13 AM

If we’re using your perspective regarding prevalence, then let’s cut the crap demonizing men for the extreme minority who r and k.

Are there any new compilation videos of soccer players collapsing from cardiac arrest? I know everyone was saying it’s normal and common in 2021 Also, where have all of the articles warning of mundane things causing cardiac arrest gone, like there were in 2021? I forgot another question: Is 5 years enough time after the pandemic measures ended to be concerned about the prevalence of non-COVID respiratory illness during the summer?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/26 05:01 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/26 03:20 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/26 02:28 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/26 02:00 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/26 01:59 AM

I’m just asking, why wouldn’t they be assholes? Like, let’s stop acting like it’s some moral failure instead of cause and effect.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/26 01:53 AM

Why wouldn’t they be assholes? The world, including other children, treated them poorly since they were children.

So do you think men should always take what they can get? This is the only way this perspective would make sense to me. You seem to dismiss the notion of a valid cost benefit analysis which concludes that it’s not worth it to some men because they wouldn’t consent to the women they would gain sex and relationships with
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 11:46 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 11:44 PM

I’m not Gen Z, but I think this is a good thing. They are perhaps the first generation to enter adulthood with clear eyes. Social media, smart phone, and dating apps have always been established for them. They knew what they were getting into as long as they paid attention. Older millennials and up didn’t have the full picture and they had to reckon with the consequences of their decisions regardless.

/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 11:29 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 11:28 PM
1

Did you have a choice of an equally compatible partner who provided etc?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 11:26 PM
1

I disagree. Women don’t get to wax poetic about “fairness” and “equality” only to abandon those principles at the first opportunity. Most women have benefitted from this cultural zeitgeist of a pursuit for equality, so even if they don’t individually agree with it, they are forever indebted to it. Also, if they want to have children, they should ask themselves if they are rich enough to pay for someone to do their share of chores if pregnancy and child rearing render them unwilling to do it them…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 11:22 PM
1

We should more readily acknowledge how most people have to choose between mentally ill, immature, and/or poor character partners, or nothing. I’m tired of seeing women reply to men’s discussion of how suboptimal most women are in these ways with a curt retort of “don’t date those women then”.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 11:19 PM

This will only create an advantage for those with older siblings, “cool” parents, and the tech skills to circumvent the ban. Social media is part of real life now, and sheltering teenagers from it won’t help them. Let’s be real, these bans are a result of young people being anti-war.

How would you feel about the reverse orgasm gap though? Do you think society would actually pretend to care?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 10:53 PM

No, what you described is basic social tact. I’m talking about, if you don’t really agree with something, don’t nod your head. If you don’t really like someone, don’t pretend to. If you would rather stay home, don’t accept the invite. That sort of thing. Most people refuse to admit that they aren’t authentic. I will accept that concession as well as actual authenticity, either one is valid.

True misandry is reveling in how women surpassing men in college admissions to levels less equal than in the 1960’s is a good thing and definitely has nothing to do with affirmative action or hostility toward men. True misandry is flaunting how women don’t need men for money anymore…then insisting on only marrying men who earn more than they do. True misandry is insisting that men …

Your proposed system would result in the cheapest plans failing due to those with the most health issues sinking it. The only way that a healthcare system would make sense is to have everyone on the same plan. The only way to get the proper number of facilities and professionals for such a system is to get the ball rolling with the new system…otherwise there’s no onus to have them built and educated/trained. We’ve wasted 9.5 years already. We could have started in 2017.

They saw the “Democratic” establishment favor Hillary over Bernie, and thought “huh, well, I guess we’ll give Republicans a try” and you know what, they weren’t demonized just for being men.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 05:19 PM

Because most people want to be in a relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 01:52 AM

I’m not suggesting that women ought to happily pass up those men. I’m living in reality and saying most people don’t have the privilege of avoiding such people if they are to be in a relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 11:48 PM

Water is wet
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 11:44 PM

It’s too late…should have shown men more empathy before they made a big stink about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 06:20 PM

The point remains, it’s up to you to ask each individual you’re interacting with whether or not they are still trying.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 06:20 PM

Holding the world to account.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 06:18 PM

It’s the logical response to a callous world.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 05:49 PM

Unselected men have largely given up.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 05:48 PM

No, because ultimately the opinions of your in-group still determined: if you had sex, if you had relationships, if you were hired, if you were approved for housing, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 05:47 PM

You’re assuming that they haven’t given up already due to a valid cost-benefit analysis. What you’re reading is the fallout. Calling out how “be a better person” is invalid advice if objectively horrible people have sex and relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 05:44 PM

No, the justice would be assholes not getting laid.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 05:42 PM

Ok, well until assholes are not being incentivized with sex, relationships, and social acceptance, then expect sexless men to call it out. You can’t shame sexless men for “wanting to be able to be assholes” if you barely shame the actual wife beating, women raping, law breaking, assholes.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 05:24 PM

It’s not a trope, and yes, they downplay it as only some women, when most women don’t actually care much about your character provided you treat her, her friends and family, and wait staff well, and are of high desirability.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 05:23 PM

Yes, in fact every major aspect of one’s life is determined by what other people think of you.

Drop the sarcasm.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 05:14 PM

Care to address my point?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 04:49 PM

You’re not directly addressing what I said. I asked about men who could never have sex (ever). Also, I’m not claiming that all men only care about women’s issues because of sex, I’m saying that not all of them would if they could never have sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 04:41 PM

That safe space influences social norms.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 04:21 PM

Stability, reproduction, fitting into society
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 04:19 PM

Yes, because their mother didn’t need to allow the pregnancy to advance beyond day 2.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 04:13 PM

Yes, if one of those parents right to back out ended at ejaculation.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 04:08 PM

That doesn’t preclude access to sex from being a significant contributing factor in most men’s choice to care about women’s issues.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 04:08 PM

I mean the words which trigger a manual review.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 04:06 PM

I understand that the laws were written in a way that ensures that the government doesn’t need to provide for a child.

/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 03:32 PM

You’re misunderstanding; it’s too late for that. If a man is well into adulthood and clearly isn’t going to get what he wants in life, none of the concerns you mentioned are relevant to him.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 03:32 PM

He is doing what he wants…advocating against empathy for women.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 03:31 PM

Do you think that all of the men who care about women would still care…if they were never able to have sex? I don’t think so.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 03:30 PM

Nobody is entitled to anything. Nobody deserves anything. You get what you can.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 03:29 PM

I disagree. The fact is, as you mentioned, men aren’t shown adequate empathy. It’s logical for men to withhold their empathy in response.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 03:28 PM

It’s perfectly acceptable to want to be the first guy with the option of something more serious, and the fact is, if every man is to find a partner, the majority of women (who have mental health and personality issues) will be the only option for most of them.

/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 02:10 PM

I think people need to accept that even that isn’t wholly authentic. All of this “persona” rhetoric is just to come to terms with how being a curated version of yourself (not really saying what you want and how you want) is the only way to get ahead in life.

It shouldn’t be normal. Capitalism has normalized inauthenticity
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 02:04 PM

The “obsession” is due to society at large downplaying the prevalence of such women. This enables society to keep shaming unwillingly single men as moral failures; “your personality/beliefs are why you’re single”, “just treat women like people”, etc. If society readily acknowledged the prevalence of women who do not require men to be good people before having sex with or dating them, it would require the destigmatization of unwillingly single men, because it would be clear that factors other tha…

My point is, there’s nothing of value added to the debate or discussion by calling someone’s take weird, etc. Just get to the point. Calling someone’s entire perspective weird is essentially a personal attack, anyway, which are against the rules.

Can we disallow calling someone’s post/comment/reply “weird”, “odd”, “unusual”, “creepy”, etc. unless it’s under auto-mod? It’s entirely irrelevant to the debate or discussion, but many users tend to clearly react (instead of respond) by smearing the content or it’s author and then tack on some pretext of a valid response after it.

It’s not a claim that requires stats…it’s based on observations. For example, if boys were led to believe that to have a relationship someday, they could never cheat, it could literally be .01% of women tolerating cheating for that impression to be inaccurate. It seems as though men who cheat are more likely to stay than vice versa. Women who cheat want a new man.

/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/26 10:59 PM

In the comment which you originally replied to, I was merely highlighting that cheating is tolerated more, by more women, than men were led to believe. Women who tolerate it are more likely to be unable to get men of their preferred caliber to commit to them (which also includes men “committing” to them and cheating).
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/26 10:32 PM
1

It is loyalty on the woman’s part, but I don’t think that level of loyalty, specifically tolerance of cheating, is pro-social. This is coming from someone who is in general pro-forgiveness. If cheating = you can’t stay with that woman and you will probably need to relocate to find a willing partner, then significantly fewer men would cheat, even if it were driven by fewer men entering committed relationships. Men value women’s loyalty (their woman not cheating on them), it’s just not a major fac…

/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/26 10:04 PM

Whether or not this is becoming less common is irrelevant to my point since it’s still happening to a great enough extent that some men who are actually willing to be loyal are single because they don’t have the opportunity to date the women who are currently tolerating a cheater. Also, it’s not just that some women tolerate cheating; women tolerate known cheaters as their new partner, and they tolerate cheaters, socially. It’s supposed to matter more than it does. Even if a minority of women to…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/26 09:32 PM

It’s not that loyalty alone was supposed to be enough, it’s that it was touted as a necessary precondition for a relationship, and many women put up with cheating because they can’t get anyone of that caliber to commit to them.

You should have emphasized displays of dominance, not making fun of guys. Yes, because women believe their authentic selves to be more virtuous than they actually are. Sure, they want some emotion, and it could benefit the relationship. However, most women are subconsciously turned off by true emotional transparency. They simply don’t cite that emotional transparency when slowly drifting apart from the man; it comes out as frustration with other things that are more acceptable to themselves and others.

I think much of it is presumed based on the woman’s perception of how desirable they are to members of the opposite sex. They will say what makes women seem relatively virtuous, but men with experience know that you basically can’t stop dating, you’re always competing but you can’t act like it. It sounds messed up and it is, but in the long term, women who have options usually aren’t going to tolerate anything less than a man’s dating level of effort, at least not while treating him well in that relationship, unless he’s *close to exactly* her preference. No, it’s mostly opposed due to hypocrisy. If what social justice advocates have been promoting is an end game of fairness, then unfortunately for them, they can’t just exploit a culturally convenient moment (2020 and the death of George Floyd) to assert that, actually, we’re going to be unfair to correct the unfairness. When assessing a man’s effort and contributions to society, we shouldn’t assume virtuous motives. The first question we should ask ourselves is: “How often does this man have access to sex with women who he is sincerely desirous of?” If it’s obvious that he has appeal on the sex and dating market, then we cannot assume that absent this incentive to participate in society, he would have tried just as hard.

Ask yourself how these corporations were able to so ruthlessly exploit male labor…could it have possibly been exacerbated by women joining the labor market en masse and making it almost twice as easy for workers to be exploited?

Exactly. Women’s dating preferences consolidate wealth.

But if they’re such big girls, why not provide yourself that standard and bring a man into that world?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/26 01:33 PM

Maybe women should consistently add nuance to the statement “we don’t need men/their money anymore” by explicitly acknowledging how they still strongly prefer men who earn more money than them.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/26 01:32 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/26 01:31 PM

I don’t think it should have to be pried out of them, is my point. Like, you’re making a statement about the importance of a man’s wealth in the context of dating…round it out while you’re at it, women.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/26 02:14 AM
2

I suppose that, given the frequency with which both ideas are advocated for by the same individual women, it would be more forthcoming to qualify the statement that women don’t need men for their money with *”but we still care a lot about it and prefer men who earn more than us”*.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/26 01:50 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/26 12:06 AM

No, I’m making the correct point, because even though men outearn women on average, that doesn’t dictate mate choice. Women can choose to date down far more often than they currently do.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 11:21 PM

You’re ignoring how the overwhelming majority of the time, women choose a man who earns more than her, until perhaps very recently.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 09:46 PM

Perhaps someone can rectify this seemingly incongruent perspective: How can one of the primary reasons why a greater portion of men are sexless and single than in recent history be that *women don’t need men for money anymore* …but at the same time, men who don’t earn at least close to the same amount as a woman they’re interested in dating *need to step up*? Clearly, a persistent, strong preference among most women for higher earning men is at odds with the insistence that women’s lack of finan…

When I’ve tried to hold women accountable for sexually harassing me, it wasn’t taken seriously and they cited her beauty as part of why. It’s frustrating knowing that, as a man, I’m held to a greater standard of behavior around women than vice versa. It goes to show that society takes it seriously when women are being harassed not because it’s unwelcome, but because they fear the man actually harming her. Otherwise, harassment of men would be considered to be equally bad.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/26 09:10 PM
1

I suppose it tends to get meta, let’s say the woman uses X reasoning to justify something she did, but when the man does it, she considers that same reasoning to be invalid. Also, a common theme is one or both parties being averse to reckoning with the instances in which they both agree they were wrong. It becomes a sequence of one person more readily conceding when they were wrong, and the other rarely if ever doing the same.

Again, you’re not addressing instances in which the man does everything right. You make it sound like men aren’t signaling safety (which isn’t reliable, but anyway) or like they’re not accepting the rejection by persisting. No, the theoretical probability of winning the lottery is (for the sake of simplicity let’s say there are only four number slots and they only range 0-9) .01% or 1/10,000 since you would need to guess the first number correctly (1/10) then the rest of the numbers, which makes it significantly less probable.

Even though women have been coddling men’s feelings for centuries, and even though men need to improve their ability to handle rejection, women also have room for improvement in how they handle men’s initiation of interactions with them. I’m familiar with the sub which you mentioned; my point still stands. Quite frankly, that sub is not representative of how most women’s interactions with a man in which they reject him conclude…not even close to a majority.

Women should only need to politely (not overly polite, just the commonly recognized bare minimum manner of interaction that doesn’t convey hostility or disrespect) decline a man’s initiation of communication once. I don’t disagree with you. I’m saying, since those issues are all but inevitable in the long term, women should start from a place of nearly irresistible sexual desire for a man before marrying him, so that when there are issues, they are likely able to overcome them.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/26 10:20 PM

Yes, I was referring to the women being approached. My point remains, even if a man doesn’t want to date a woman who was creeped out by him or responded negatively, women ought to be polite unless a man is rude to them in an overt way.

No, it’s women deflecting analysis of how what is successful for desirable men doesn’t work and literally backfires for ordinary men. It makes women deeply uncomfortable to admit that much of their desire is shallow, and that becoming the type of man who most women claim to want (behaviorally, ideologically, etc.) isn’t actually attractive to most women. So to avoid that conversation of how there isn’t much incentive left for men to continue adopting what women say they want, since it can litera…

The takeaway from your perspective should then be: “Since identical behavior can be viewed as welcomed or creepy, depending on the woman (which a man cannot surmise in advance), women need to be more gracious and forgiving of men’s pursuit of sexual and romantic connection, if society is to function properly”. This would not necessitate women tolerating unsafe and threatening behavior.

The answer to the question is: because most people don’t have the requisite insight, analytical skills, or honesty to understand that their authentic self doesn’t align with the social and cultural ideals to which they aspire. Also, most women want a man who is better than her and brings disproportionate stability to the relationship or even sexual encounter. Women are unwilling to concede this as it would require them to (accurately) look like less virtuous people.

If men are to just roll with it and not engage with women who aren’t mature enough to handle true vulnerability, then we owe it to them to acknowledge: They aren’t desirable enough to the women who they would consent to sex and relationships with, to find a woman who will accept or even tolerate true vulnerability from them. The conversation doesn’t end with: find a mature woman.

Even though nobody told men [that] marriage was going to be a non-stop fuck fest, the overall impression that society gave most boys and men overemphasized the probability of their libido being satisfied within a marriage.

I hate when I can spot this. The worst part is there can only be one guy in a group like this, because with more than one, it becomes readily apparent that it’s heavy handed and takes up too much air.

I do, but that doesn’t mean I want to have sex when my dope is already depleted

/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/26 11:37 PM

Because women don’t actually like working that much and men don’t care how much women earn, like they actually like women for who they are.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/26 10:33 PM

DinnerDiaries is perhaps the weakest sub on Reddit. Literally need to be pre-approved, sometimes only post emojis, include trigger warnings to your posts (btw, how does “trigger warning: abuse” not potentially trigger an abuse victim?), you have to make sure not so say anything that could trigger someone with an ED, and the entire premise is “look at me meek pittance of supper I have for my poor womanly self…listen to me whine about being human”
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/26 10:32 PM

And in our case here in the US…you’re dismissing women’s liberation and feminism as primary contributing causes of the overall state of the economy for the average person who now competes, even domestically, with approximately twice as many applicants and workers as before the changes took place (even after adjusting for population growth)?

If a single man can’t attract the women who he would consent to sex and relationships with, that’s objectively due to women’s standards, otherwise he would have found someone.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/26 10:10 PM

Perhaps women nearly doubling the labor force while maintaining their preferences for men who outearn them has something to do with feminism and the declining birth rate.

No, in the context of the entire post, OP’s point is that men will no longer try as hard to woo women, knowing how they actually operate.

Tip for the ladies: if you haven’t been feeling it for a few days and have rebuffed your man’s initiation of sex, but you think you’ll be in the mood that day, tell your man so you don’t hit him up for it right after he masturbated
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/26 06:28 PM

How? Men have spontaneous sexual desire upon viewing women, they aren’t as close to male friends so they don’t have the same social support as women, men’s social status is more heavily based on their ability to attract and date women, etc.

I don’t disagree with how representative your observations are of the average human experience. Most of the polite social myths are meant to smooth over things like what you’ve noticed. My advice is to accept that we are mere mortals with powerful primal drives, and to give each other grace to the extent it doesn’t cause undue harm.

At what point is it no longer valid to cite women’s sacrifices related to pregnancy, childbirth, and raising children within a macro level comparison of men and women’s challenges? For example, if men cited something that only 40% of men eventually do, they would rightfully be called out for piggybacking on challenges that most men don’t experience. Similarly, what would the percentage of women who have children need to dip to before we recalibrate the scales of who has a more challenging role i…

No, they don’t. They can get a grown woman’s job and work it for a decade+ before even starting to have children in her 30’s. Women are just too risk averse to accomplish what they want while abiding by their supposedly progressive and non-traditional standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/26 06:29 PM

It starts with women. The decreased ability for men to outearn women due to increased competition is only an issue because most women prefer to date men who earn more than them.

The patriarchy is based on women’s biology. They like men who are powerful and of high status. Men, liking women, pursue things that make women like them.

I think there is also a desperate insistence by women to characterize most male critique of sex, dating, and relationship dynamics as inherently sexist, misogynistic, etc. Women equate acknowledgement of the non-sexist, non-misogynistic critiques and analyses of those topics with an erasure of the portion of men who are sexist, etc. Women also associate the more reasonable critiques with an implicit call to action. They should instead ask each individual man they’re listening to or engaging in d…

Even many of the men who women want are misogynistic though. Perhaps it has something to do with how women operate.

In the context of sex, dating, and relationships, it’s important to validate the specific dissatisfaction that men experience with women, just as the inverse is important. Also, even though not all women are X (whatever the critique is), even a significant minority of women being X literally means that some men face either dealing with those women or being alone, which is a worthy issue for discussion.

Women on birth control have a notably weaker preference for masculine features in a partner, and when they get off of birth control, many of them report a (at the very least temporary) decline in attraction to their partner.

If most women who claim to be afraid of the potential threat men pose to their lives were sincere, they wouldn’t feel emboldened to mock, berate, or taunt men online, especially men who express sentiment from a socially/romantically unsuccessful perspective The level of disrespect that most women demonstrate toward men online, directly and in general, is not commensurate with the fear that these women cite as the primary reason for their caution around men. Yeah, we disagree about the value of one’s standards having mass validation which makes it significantly more likely for them to find a partner who will tolerate those standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/26 11:27 PM

No, that’s just a hyperbolic strawman.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/26 10:27 PM

What good is validity if everyone disagrees? There is value in your opinions and standards being validated. Equal consideration as it applies to this topic is when people equally consider the potential validity of men’s standards as they do for women’s. For example, if the reasoning cited for validating a woman’s standards is “It’s her prerogative, she doesn’t need to justify her standards, etc.” then that speaker ought to apply that reasoning to how they consider men’s standards. Even though no…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/26 10:26 PM

Even though people are going to have their opinions about you no matter what, how those opinions are generally received by most people matters, and that receptivity begins with men advocating for themselves with correct terminology and a demand for equal consideration as what women say.

Women are more likely to have things paid for them or given to them for free than men.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/26 09:52 PM

No, I meant it to differentiate it from merely liking (enjoying) the content, as in merely viewing it.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/26 09:51 PM

The standards are things like not tolerating their girlfriend spending time alone with men who aren’t family members or “liking” content of men who aren’t family members.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/26 09:20 PM

Men should say what they mean, but women definitely take the opportunity to correct men who claim that something is a “boundary”, to avoid having the conversation about how these “boundaries” are actually valid standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/26 09:16 PM

It would go a long way toward men developing a healthy acceptance of their low probability of getting what they want or prefer, if society and especially women would more readily concede that needing to win people over in ways that many others do not, points to a presumed covert contract by many women who need to be won over in extra ways. It’s not just “I like a man who XYZ” it’s (often subconscious thought bubble): ”This man doesn’t meet my A preference, but because of B and C, it will be a tr…
